Hetero- and homo-leptic Ru(II) complexes of a new 4,4′-bipyrimidine ligand, th2bpm (6,6′-di(2″-thienyl)-4,4′-bipyrimidine), have been synthesized and characterized. The parent ligand th2bpm has electron rich thiophene units on the periphery of a bidentate ligand which is capable of binding to metal ions. The heteroleptic complex of th2bpm [Ru(bpy)2th2bpm]2+ (bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine) exhibits a Ru-to-bpm metal-to-ligand charge transfer (MLCT) absorption centered at 547 nm and a Ru-to-bpy MLCT absorption centered at 438 nm. The assignment of the low energy absorption is supported by the relative ease of electrochemical reduction of the new complex as compared to [Ru(bpy)3]2+. The homoleptic complex, [Ru(th2bpm)3]2+, exhibits a Ru-to-bpm MLCT absorption at slightly higher energy (544 nm). Both complexes are emissive at room temperature in fluid solution and 5 is one of the lowest energy emitters based on tris-bidentate Ru(II) complexes known (λmax = 770 nm). The luminescence spectra is red-shifted compared to [Ru(bpy)3]2+ and this effect is ascribed to the delocalization in the acceptor ligand.  相似文献

Addition of dimethyl phosphite to racemic 3,3′,4,4′-tetramethyl-1,1′-diphosphaferrocene-2-carboxaldehyde gives almost exclusively one diastereomer of the corresponding α-hydroxyphosphonate (d.r. ?96:4). Its absolute configuration (SRp)-(RSp) was established by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

A new set of tripodal receptors based upon an aromatic platform have been synthesized in high yields. The compounds have been characterized by spectroscopic techniques and by single crystal X-ray crystallography. These receptors are found to have good extraction ability and high transport rate for Ag(I). The receptor with imine linkages exhibits weak fluorescence emission bands at λmax=413 and 540 nm, upon excitation at λmax=365 nm. The fluorescence spectrum of the receptor shows enhancement in the intensity of the signal at 413 nm on binding with the Ag+ cation. No such significant changes are observed with other metal ions. An absorption at ∼365 nm is typical of an intraligand (π-π) transition involving the imine chromophore, which produces a weak emission band at 413 nm due to quenching caused by PET from a neighboring -OH group. Participation of OH group in coordination to the metal ion reduces PET and an enhancement of fluorescence intensity is observed, signaling recognition of the metal ion.  相似文献

In an effort to develop an efficient synthetic method of highly diastereoselective (2′R)- and (2′S)-2′-deoxy[2′-2H]guanosines, chemoenzymatic conversion was investigated. The synthesis of (2′R > 98% de)-2′-deoxy[2′-2H]guanosine was achieved by biological transdeoxyribosylation using (2′R > 98% de)-2′-deoxy[2′-2H]uridine, 2,6-diaminopurine, and Enterobacter aerogenes AJ-11125, followed by treatment with adenosine deaminase. (2′S > 98% de)-2′-Deoxy[2′-2H]guanosine was synthesized from (2′S > 98% de)-2′-deoxy[2′-2H]uridine and 2,6-diaminopurine using thymidine phosphorylase and purine nucleoside phosphorylase instead of E. aerogenes AJ-11125.  相似文献

A reagent tablet for determination of fluoride ion has been prepared using ethylenediamine-N,N,N′,N′-tetraacetate complex of zirconium (Zr-EDTA), 3-hydroxy-2′-flavone (FS) and an appropriate pH buffer. Dissolving of the tablet into water exhibits an intense blue fluorescence (λmax = 460 nm) upon excitation at 377 nm and the fluorescence intensity decreases with the presence of fluoride ion. Hence, a simple fluorescent detection procedure for fluoride ion in aqueous media was successfully constructed with this tablet. The principle of this detection system is the ligand exchange reaction of FS bound to Zr-EDTA with fluoride ion. The present system provides an easy, rapid and selective determination method of fluoride ion ranging from 5 × 10−6 to 1 × 10−3 mol dm−3. The measurement of real samples with this tablet showed the similar results as those by the common method with the Alfusone reagent.  相似文献

The alkyne unit of 4′-ethynyl-2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine has been functionalized with Ph3PAu, (2-tolyl)3PAu or Au(dppe)Au units to produce compounds 1-3, respectively. These derivatives have been characterized by electrospray mass spectrometry, solution 1H and 13C NMR, UV-Vis and emission spectroscopies, and single crystal X-ray diffraction. In the solid state, molecules of 1 or 2 pack with separated domains of tpy and R3PAu units; the tpy units in 2 (but not 1) exhibit face-to-face π-stacking. Compound 3 crystallizes as 2(3).CHCl3, and the folded conformation of the dppe backbone results in a short (2.9470(8) Å) aurophilic interaction. Folded molecule 3 captures CHCl3, preventing intramolecular face-to-face π-interactions between the tpy units. In CH2Cl2 solution, 1-3 are emissive when excited between 230 and 300 nm, but over minutes when λex = 230 nm, the emission bands decay as the compounds photodegrade.  相似文献

Treatment of 2 equiv of indole-3-aldehyde with o, m, p-xylyl, 2,5-dimethoxy-p-xylyl dibromides and 4,4′-bis(bromomethyl)-1,1′-biphenyl gave the bisalkylated products, which underwent McMurry coupling with low valent titanium to give indolophanes. Various cis-stilbenophanes with m-terphenyl building blocks were also synthesized by application of the McMurry coupling technique.  相似文献

A mass spectrometric (MS) method for the identification of iron protoporphyrin (IX) (FePTP, heme b) in marine particulate material and phytoplankton is described. Electrospray ionisation of FePTP produced the molecular Fe(III)PTP+ ion (m/z = 616) or the pseudomolecular [Fe(II)PTP + H]+ ion (m/= 617), depending on the oxidation state of the central iron ion. Collision induced dissociation (CID) in the ion trap mass spectrometer resulted in a single detected product ion (m/z = 557) indicative of loss of ethanoic acid from a carboxylic acid side chain. Widening the isolation width to 616 ± 3 resulted in production of a mass spectrum demonstrating the distinctive isotopic ratio of the iron containing fragment, further increasing the specificity of the analysis. Selective reactant monitoring (SRM) of the fragment ion (m/z = 557) was applied to the detection of FePTP after chromatography of ammoniacal OGP extracts of marine samples. The detection limit for FePTP analysed by SRM after chromatography was 1.2 ± 0.5 fmol. For phytoplankton samples, reasonably good agreement was achieved between results obtained with SRM and those obtained by monitoring absorbance at λ = 400 nm using a diode array detector (DAD). Use of SRM for analysis of particulate material obtained from the high latitude North Atlantic allowed for the analysis of FePTP in the presence of a co-eluting compound that interfered with detection by DAD. Simultaneous collection of mass spectra from m/z = 300 to 1500 resulted in identification of the pseudomolecular ion for the interfering compound. The CID fragmentation pattern and UV–visible mass spectra indicated that the interfering compound was a previously unidentified chlorin type compound. Comparison of FePTP determined by SRM and DAD on samples where this compound could not be detected showed that results collected using the two methods correlated. The use of both MS and DAD results in a powerful tool for quantifying this important biogenic component of the particulate iron pool.  相似文献

Anti-HIV nucleoside monophosphates have limited cellular uptake due to the presence of negatively-charged phosphate group. Bis-(cycloSaligenyl) derivatives containing two anti-HIV nucleosides, 3′-fluoro-3′-deoxythymidine (FLT) and 3′-azido-3′-deoxythymidine (AZT) were synthesized to increase intracellular delivery of nucleoside monophosphates. 2,5-Bis(hydroxymethylene)benzene-1,4-diol was selected as a monocyclic bidentate scaffold and synthesized by three different methods from bis(hydroxymethylene)cyclohexan-1,4-diene-1,4-diol, or diethyl 2,5-dihydroxyterephthalate. The reaction of the tetraol with diisopropylphosphoramidous dichloride in the presence of 2,6-lutidine, followed by conjugation reactions with nucleosides (i.e., FLT and AZT) and oxidation afforded symmetrical and unsymmetrical bis-(cycloSaligenyl) diphosphate triester products, AZT-AZT, FLT-FLT, and FLT-AZT conjugates, in 63-74% overall yields and modest anti-HIV activities (IC50 = 2.8-69.6 μM).  相似文献

A series of dianhydride monomers, 2,2′-disubstituted-4,4′,5,5′-biphenyltetracarboxylic dianhydride (substituents = phenoxy, p-methylphenoxy, p-tert-butylphenoxy, nitro, and methoxy) were synthesized by the nitration of an N-methyl protected 3,3′,4,4′-biphenyltetracarboxylic dianhydride (BPDA) and subsequent aromatic nucleophilic substitutions with aroxides (NaOAr) or methoxide. These dianhydrides were polymerized with various aromatic diamines in refluxing m-cresol containing isoquinoline to afford a series of aromatic polyimides. The effects of varying 2,2′-substituents of the dianhydride (BPDA) moiety on the properties of polyimides were investigated. It was found that polyimides from the dianhydrides containing phenoxy, p-methylphenoxy, and p-tert-butylphenoxy side groups possessed excellent solubility and film forming capability whereas polyimides from 2,2′-dinitro-BPDA and 2,2′-dimethoxy-BPDA were less soluble in organic solvent. The soluble polymers formed flexible, tough and transparent films. The films had a tensile strength, elongation at break, and Young’s modulus in the ranges 102-168 MPa, 8-21%, 2.02-2.38 GPa, respectively. The polymer gas permeability coefficients (P) and ideal selectivities for N2, O2, CO2 and CH4 were determined for the -OAr substituted polyimides. The oxygen permeability coefficient (PO2) and permselectivity of oxygen to nitrogen (PO2/N2) of the films were in the ranges 3.4-11.3 barrer and 3.8-4.6, respectively. The gas permeability typically increased with increasing free volume in the order of tert-butylphenoxy substituted PI > methylphenoxy substituted PI > phenoxy substituted PI.  相似文献

Two phenanthroline derivatives containing a hole transporting triphenylamine and an electron transporting 1,3,4-oxadiazole unit have been prepared with high yield. UV-vis absorption and fluorescence measurement indicated they are high efficient light-emitting materials. The compounds are 6-(5-(4-N,N′-diphenylaminophenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl) quinoxalino[2,3-f] phenanthroline (9, λmax = 635 nm, 40% quantum yield), and 1-ethyl-2-(4-(5-(4-N,N′-diphenylaminophenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl)phenyl)imidazo[4,5-f]phenanthroline (14, λmax = 461 nm, 78% quantum yield). Preliminary study on electroluminescence for the two fluorescent dyes prepared from vacuum evaporation resulted in blue and red light emitting organic light emitting diodes (OLED).  相似文献

Methoxyl and isopropoxyl radicals were generated from N-alkoxy-4,5-dimethylthiazole-2(3H)-thiones (λmax∼320 nm) and 5-aryl derivatives (aryl=p-XC6H4; X=MeO, H, AcNH, Cl) (λmax∼335 nm) in photochemically and microwave-induced reactions. Alkoxyl radicals were trapped with dimethylpyrrolidine N-oxide and characterized as spin adducts via EPR. Cumyloxyl radicals were liberated in a similar manner from N-cumyloxy-5-(4-methoxyphenyl)-4-methylthiazole-2(3H)-thione. A noteworthy bathochromic shift was found for the lowest energy transition of N-(hydroxy)indeno[2,1-d]thiazole-2(3H)-thione (λmax=376 nm), if compared to the UV-vis absorption of N-hydroxy-4-methyl-5-phenylthiazole-2(3H)-thione (λmax=338 nm). The dimeric starting material [Ru(η6-p-cymene)(μ-Cl)Cl]2 reacts with N3,N3′-bis(diphenylphosphino)-2,2′-bipyridine-3,3′-diamine, 1 and P,P′-diphenylphosphinous acid-P,P′-[2,2′-bipyridine]-3,3′-diyl ester, 2 ligands to afford bridged dinuclear complexes [C10H6N2{NHPPh2-Ru(η6-p-cymene)Cl2}2], 3 and [C10H6N2{OPPh2-Ru(η6-p-cymene)Cl2}2], 4 in quantitative yields. These bis(aminophosphine) and bis(phosphinite) based Ru(II) complexes serve as active catalyst precursors for the transfer hydrogenation of acetophenone derivatives in 2-propanol and especially 4 acts as a good catalyst, giving the corresponding alcohols in 99% yield in 20 min (TOF ? 280 h−1).  相似文献

A flow injection (FI) spectrophotometric method is proposed for the determination of low concentration of formaldehyde (HCHO) in liquid media. It is based on the condensation of HCHO with hydroxylamine sulfate, followed by the reduction reaction of iron(III)-ferrozine complex with the residual hydroxylamine to form a purple iron(II)-ferrozine complex (λmax = 562 nm). In the first reaction, hydroxylamine decreases proportionally to the concentration of HCHO, and therefore the produced purple iron(II)-ferrozine complex decreases with increasing HCHO (a negative FI peak is obtained). The detection limit (S/N = 3) was 1.6 μg L−1. The method can be applied to the determination of HCHO in industrial wastewater.  相似文献

The ligating properties 1-(2′-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol (HPAN) toward Rh(III) have been examined. The reaction of RhCl3·3H2O with HPAN in presence of excess PPh3 afforded trans-[Rh(PAN)Cl(PPh3)2]PF6 (3PF6). Intermediate cis-[Rh(PAN)Cl2(PPh3)] (4) has also been isolated. Solid state structures were authenticated by X-ray analyses revealing that monoanionic PAN is coordinated to rhodium in meridional fashion. Both the compounds were spectroscopically characterized in both solution and solid states, which include IR, NMR (1H and 31P), and optical spectra. The diamagnetic complexes show multiple CT transitions in the visible region. Low-energy transitions (λ ≈ 550–650 nm) occurred in the absorption spectra are predominantly ligand centered in nature. The rhodium(III)–PAN compounds are red emissive (λem ≈ 650 nm) at room temperature and the nature of the emission level is probably an ILCT level. Complexes are electro-active in acetonitrile and display irreversible oxidative and reductive waves and these responses are ascribed to be PAN ligand centered in character.  相似文献

A new kind of pyridine-containing aromatic diamine monomer, 4-phenyl-2,6-bis[3-(4′-amino-2′-trifluoromethyl-phenoxy) phenyl] pyridine (m-PAFP), was successfully synthesized by a modified Chichibabin reaction of 3-(4′-nitro-2′-trifluoro-methyl-phenoxy)-acetophenone with benzaldehyde, followed by a catalytic reduction. A series of fluorinated pyridine-bridged aromatic poly(ether-imide)s were prepared from the resulting diamine monomer with various aromatic dianhydrides via a conventional two-step thermal or chemical imidization method. The inherent viscosities values of these polyimides were in the range of 0.56-1.02 dL/g, and they could be cast and thermally converted into transparent, flexible, and tough polyimide films. The polyimides displayed higher solubility in polar solvents such as NMP, DMSO and m-cresol. The polyimides had good thermal stability, with the glass transition temperatures (Tg) of 187-211 °C, the temperatures at 5% weight loss of 511-532 °C, and the residue at 800 °C in air was higher than 50%. These films also had dielectric constants of 2.64-2.74 at 10 MHz and low water uptake 0.53-0.66%. Wide-angle X-ray diffraction measurements revealed that these polyimides were predominantly amorphous. Moreover, the polymer films of these novel polyimides showed outstanding mechanical properties with the tensile strengths of 90.1-96.6 MPa, elongations at breakage of 8.9-10.7% and tensile modulus of 1.65-1.98 GPa.  相似文献

New bis(phosphinoamine) and bis(phosphinite) derivatives of 2,2′-bipyridine were prepared through a single step reaction of 3,3′-diamino-2,2′-bipyridine or 3,3′-dihydroxy-2,2′-bipyridine with diphenylchlorophosphine, respectively. Their P = E chalcogenides (E = O, S, Se) were also prepared. All the new compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR and NMR spectroscopies. The molecular structure of 3,3′-bis(diphenylthiophosphinite)-2,2′-bipyridine was elucidated by single-crystal X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

Eleven new complexes of the form cis-[RuII(bpy)2(LA)]4+ (bpy = 2,2′-bipyridyl; LA = a pyridinium-substituted bpy derivative) have been prepared and isolated as their PF6 salts. Characterisation involved various techniques including 1H NMR spectroscopy and MALDI mass spectrometry. The UV-Vis spectra show intense intraligand π → π absorptions and metal-to-ligand charge-transfer (MLCT) bands with two distinct maxima in the visible region. Small shifts in the MLCT bands correlate with the electron-withdrawing strength of the ligand LA. Cyclic voltammograms show quasi-reversible or reversible RuIII/II oxidation waves, and two or more ligand-based reductions with varying degrees of reversibility. The variations in the redox potentials correlate with changes in the structure of LA, and also with the MLCT energies. Differential pulse voltammetry allows the first reduction process for two of the complex salts to be resolved into two peaks. Single-crystal X-ray structures have been solved for three of the new complex salts and also for a pro-ligand salt. Two carboxylate-functionalised compounds have been tested as photosensitizers on TiO2-coated electrodes, but show only negligible efficiencies, in accord with expectations.  相似文献

In this work, the synthesis and characterization of fac-[Re(CO)3(Nqphen)(L)]PF6 complexes is reported. Nqphen is the quinone substituted acceptor ligand [3,2-a:2′,3′-c]-benzo[3,4]-phenazine-11,16-quinone, and L represents the donor monodentate pyridine substituted ligands 4-tert-butylpyridine (t-Bupy), 4-methoxypyridine (MeO-py) or 10-(4-picolyl)phenothiazine (py-PTZ). The complexes were synthesized by refluxing in methanol the metal precursor fac-Re(CO)3(Nqphen)TfO (TfO = trifluoromethanesulphonate anion) with the corresponding L ligand. The UV-Vis spectra of the complexes are dominated by intense intraligand (IL) bands, and less intense metal ligand charge transfer (MLCT) bands with maxima in the 380-400 nm region. The IR shows the typical pattern for tricarbonyl Re complexes with facial (fac) geometry. An additional v(CO) stretching band, attributed to the quinone fragment of Nqphen, is observed.Electrochemical data indicate that the acceptor capacity of Nqphen is increased in the complexes with regard to the free ligand. This effect is sensitive to the nature of the L ligand, following the order: MeO-py < t-Bupy < py-PTZ, indicating therefore that the donor capacity of L affects the rest of the molecule. The results obtained for the fac-[Re (CO)3(Nqphen)(pyPTZ)]PF6 complex here reported were compared with those observed for the homologous complex fac-[Re(CO)3(Aqphen)(L)]0/+, with Aqphen = 12,17-dihydronaphtho[2,3-h]dipyrido[3,2-a:2′,3′-c]-phenazine-12,17-dione, and L = Cl, TfO, py-PTZ.  相似文献

The electronic spectra of solid MgCp2 (Cp = cyclopentadienyl) show features which indicate the presence of intramolecular interligand interactions. The fluorescence of MgCp2 (λmax = 363 nm) undergoes a considerable Stokes shift which is apparently caused by a bonding attraction between both Cp rings in the excited state. An additional phosphorescence of the (Cp)2 fragment (λmax = 535 nm) appears at 77 K.  相似文献
