Quantum correlations in a family of two-qubit separable classical-quantum correlated states are intensively studied with four diferent approaches,namely,quantum discord[Phys.Rev.Lett.88(2002)017901],measurementinduced disturbance(MID)[Phys.Rev.A 77(2008)022301],ameliorated MID[J.Phys.A:Math.Theor.44(2011)352002]and quantum dissonance[Phys.Rev.Lett.104(2010)080501].Quantum correlations captured with diferent approaches are compared and discussed so that their three distinct features are exposed.  相似文献

The quantum discord was introduced by Ollivier,Zurek,Henderson,and Vedral as an indicator of the degree of quantumness of mixed states.In this paper,we provide a decomposition condition for quantum discord.Moreover,we show that under the condition,the quantum correlations between the quantum systems can be captured completely by the entanglement measure.Finally,we present examples of our conclusions.  相似文献

One of the greatest challenges in developing the resource theory of a quantum feature is to establish an analytically computable quantifier, which directly limits the practicability of such quantifiers. Here, analytic quantifiers of both the symmetric quantum discord (SQD) and the symmetric measurement‐induced nonlocality (SMIN) in a bipartite system of qubits are studied on the basis of the quantum skew information. It is shown that the SMIN of any two‐qubit system and the SQD of bipartite “X”‐type states and block‐diagonal states can be analytically determined. In addition, the SQD and the SMIN are invariant with an attached quantum state. The validity of our analytical expressions is further illustrated numerically on the basis of several randomly generated density matrices.  相似文献

For our proposed composite parity-conserved matrix product state (MPS), if only a spin block length is larger than 1, any two such spin blocks have correlation including classical correlation and quantum correlation. Both the total correlation and the classical correlation become larger than that in any subcomponent; while the quantum correlations of the two nearest-neighbor spin blocks and the two next-nearest-neighbor spin blocks become smaller and for other conditions the quantum correlation becomes larger, i.e., the increase or the production of the long-range quantum correlation is at the cost of reducing the short-range quantum correlation, which deserves to be investigated in the future; and the ration of the quantum correlation to the total correlation monotonically decreases to a steady value as the spacing spin length increasing.  相似文献

利用量子失协方法研究在非马尔科夫环境中具有时变磁场的两比特各向异性海森堡XYZ模型量子失协的动力学演化。海森堡XYZ系统的初始态为最大纠缠态 $left|psi_{A B}rightrangle=(1 / sqrt{2})(|11rangle+|00rangle)$ , 利用非马尔科夫量子态扩散方法解析求解非马尔科夫主方程, 得出系统的约化密度矩阵; 然后代入量子失协公式得出系统量子失协的演化动力学。讨论自旋耦合强度、环境关联系数γ和余弦磁场强度B对量子失协动力学的影响。研究发现: 当环境关联系数γ较小时, 系统的量子失协明显呈现上升趋势, 因此可以表明非马尔科夫环境具有增加系统量子失协的作用。同时较大的自旋耦合系数JJZ以及余弦磁场强度B也具有增加系统量子失协的作用。  相似文献

Quantum correlations play vital roles in the quantum features in quantum information processing tasks. Among the measures of quantum correlations, quantum discord (QD) and entanglement of formation (EOF) axe two significant ones. Recent research has shown that there exists a relation between QD and EOF, which makes QD more significant in quantum information theory. However, until now, there exists no general method of chaxaeterizing quantum discord in high-dimensional quantum systems. In this paper, we have proposed a general method for calculating quantum discord in axbitraxy-dimensionM bipaxtite quantum systems in terms of Hurwitz's theory. Applications including the Werner state, the spin-1 XXZ model thermal equilibrium state, the Horodecki state, and the separable-bound-free entanglement state are investigated. We present the method of obtaining the EOF of axbitraxy-dimensional bipaxtite quantum states via purification, and the relations.hip between QD and EOF.  相似文献

We studied the mutual information and quantum discord that Alice and Bob share when Bob implements a discrimination with a fixed rate of inconclusive outcomes (FRIO) onto two pure non-orthogonal quantum states, generated with arbitrary a priori probabilities. FRIO discrimination interpolates between minimum error (ME) and unambiguous state discrimination (UD). ME and UD are well known discrimination protocols with several applications in quantum information theory. FRIO discrimination provides a more general framework where the discrimination process together with its applications can be studied. In this setting, we compared the performance of optimum probability of discrimination, mutual information, and quantum discord. We found that the accessible information is obtained when Bob implements the ME strategy. The most (least) efficient discrimination scheme is ME (UD), from the point of view of correlations that are lost in the initial state and remain in the final state, after Bob’s measurement.  相似文献

Using the pseudomode method, we theoretically analyze the creation of quantum correlations between two two-level dipole-dipole interacting atoms coupled with a common structured reservoir with different coupling strengths. Considering certain classes of initial separable-mixed states, we demonstrate that the sudden birth of atomic entanglement as well as the generation of stationary quantum correlations occur. Our results also suggest a possible way to control the occurrence time of entanglement sudden birth and the stationary value of quantum correlations by modifying the initial conditions of states, the dipole-dipole interaction, and the relative coupling strength. These results are helpful for the experimental engineering of entanglement and quantum correlations.  相似文献

We investigate the quantum characteristics of a three-particle W-class state and reveal the relationship between quantum discord and quantum entanglement under decoherence.We can also identify the state for which discord takes a maximal value for a given decoherence factor,and present a strong bound on quantum entanglement–quantum discord.In contrast,a striking result will be obtained that the quantum discord is not always stronger than the entanglement of formation in the case of decoherence.Furthermore,we also theoretically study the variation trend of the monogamy of quantum correlations for the three-particle W-class state under the phase flip channel,and find that the three-particle W-class state could transform from polygamous into monogamous,owing to the decoherence.  相似文献

In this paper,we investigate the quantum correlation of coupled qubits which are initially in maximally entangled mixed states in a squeezed vacuum reservoir.We compare and analyze the effects of squeezed parameters on quantum discord and quantum concurrence.The results show that in a squeezed vacuum reservoir,the quantum discord and quantum concurrence perform with completely opposite behaviors with the change of squeezed parameters.Quantum discord survives longer with the increase of squeezed amplitude parameter,but entanglement death is faster on the contrary.The results also indicate that the classical correlation of the system is smaller than quantum discord in a vacuum reservoir,while it is bigger than quantum discord in a squeezed vacuum reservoir.The quantum discord and classical correlation are more robust than quantum concurrence in the two reservoir environments,which indicates that the entanglement actually is easily affected by decoherence and quantum discord has a stronger ability to avoid decoherence in a squeezed vacuum reservoir.  相似文献

The level surfaces of quantum discord for a class of two-qubit states are investigated when the Bloch vectors and are perpendicularly oriented. The geometric objects of tetrahedron T and octahedron O are deformed. The level surfaces of constant discord are formed by three interaction \"tubes\" along three orthogonal directions. They shrink to the center when the Bloch vectors are increased and are expanded and cut off by the state tetrahedron T when the quantum discord is increased. We consider the geometric global quantum discord(GGQD) of two-qubit systems. By analyzing the symmetry of geometric global quantum discord we give an approach for deriving analytical formulae of the extremum problem which lies at the core of computing the GGQD for arbitrary two-qubit states. In this paper, quantum correlation (QC) swapping for certain separable two-qubit mixed states is treated. A QC quantifier, measurement-induced disturbance (MID) (Luo in Phys Rev A 77:022301, 2008), is employed to characterize and quantify QCs in the relevant states. Properties of all QCs in the swapping process are revealed. Particularly, it is found that MID can be increased through QC swapping for certain separable two-qubit mixed states.  相似文献

Pairwise correlation is really an important property for multi-qubit states. For the two-qubit X states extracted from Dicke states and their superposition states, we obtain a compact expression of the quantum discord by numerical check. We then apply the expression to discuss the quantum correlation of the reduced two-qubit states of Dicke states and their superpositions, and the results are compared with those obtained by entanglement of formation, which is a quantum entanglement measure.  相似文献
