Dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction based on solidification of floating organic drop (DLLME–SFO) was for the first time combined with field‐amplified sample injection (FASI) in CE to determine four β2‐agonists (cimbuterol, clenbuterol, mabuterol, and mapenterol) in bovine urine. Optimum BGE consisted of 20 mM borate buffer and 0.1 mM SDS. Using salting‐out extraction, β2‐agonists were extracted into ACN that was then used as the disperser solvent in DLLME–SFO. Optimum DLLME–SFO conditions were: 1.0 mL ACN, 50 μL 1‐undecanol (extraction solvent), total extraction time 1.5 min, no salt addition. Back extraction into an aqueous solution (pH 2.0) facilitated direct injection of β2‐agonists into CE. Compared to conventional CZE, DLLME–SFO–FASI–CE achieved sensitivity enhancement factors of 41–1046 resulting in LODs in the range of 1.80–37.0 μg L?1. Linear dynamic ranges of 0.15–10.0 mg L?1 for cimbuterol and 15–1000 μg L?1 for the other analytes were obtained with coefficients of determination (R2) ≥ 0.9901 and RSD% ≤5.5 (n = 5). Finally, the applicability of the proposed method was successfully confirmed by determination of the four β2‐agonists in spiked bovine urine samples and accuracy higher than 96.0% was obtained.  相似文献

In the present study, a new extraction method based on a three–phase system, liquid–liquid–liquid extraction, followed by dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction has been developed and validated for the extraction and preconcentration of three commonly prescribed tricyclic antidepressant drugs – amitriptyline, imipramine, and clomipramine – in human plasma prior to their analysis by gas chromatography–flame ionization detection. The three phases were an aqueous phase (plasma), acetonitrile and n–hexane. The extraction mechanism was based on the different affinities of components of the biological sample (lipids, fatty acids, pharmaceuticals, inorganic ions, etc.) toward each of the phases. This provided high selectivity toward the analytes since most interferences were transferred into n–hexane. In this procedure, a homogeneous solution of the aqueous phase (plasma) and acetonitrile (water–soluble extraction solvent) was broken by adding sodium sulfate (as a phase separating agent) and the analytes were extracted into the fine droplets of the formed acetonitrile. Next, acetonitrile phase was mixed with 1,2–dibromoethane (as a preconcentration solvent at microliter level) and then the microextraction procedure mentioned above was performed for further enrichment of the analytes. Under the optimum extraction conditions, limits of detection and lower limits of quantification for the analytes were obtained in the ranges of 0.001–0.003 and 0.003–0.010 μg mL−1, respectively. The obtained extraction recoveries were in the range of 79–98%. Intra– and inter–day precisions were < 7.5%. The validated method was successfully applied for determination of the selected drugs in human plasma samples obtained from the patients who received them.  相似文献

A novel, efficient, and environmentally friendly method—supramolecular solvent liquid–liquid microextraction (SMS-LLME) combined with high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)—was first established for the determination of p-nitrophenol and o-nitrophenol in water samples. Several important parameters influencing extraction efficiency, such as the type and volume of extraction solvent, pH of sample, temperature, salt effect, extraction time, and stirring rate, were optimized in detail. Under the optimal conditions, the enrichment factor was 166 for p-nitrophenol and 160 for o-nitrophenol, and the limits of detection by HPLC were 0.26 and 0.58 μg L−1, respectively. Excellent linearity with coefficients of correlation from 0.9996 to 0.9997 was observed in the concentration range of 2–1,000 μg L−1. The ranges of intra- and interday precision (n = 5) at 100 μg L−1 of nitrophenols were 5.85–7.76 and 10.2–11.9 %, respectively. The SMS-LLME method was successfully applied for preconcentration of nitrophenols in environmental water samples.

A new, simple and cheap dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction (DLLME) procedure was optimized for the preconcentration of trace amounts of Ni(II) as a prior step to its determination by flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS). It is based on the microextraction of nickel, where appropriate amounts of the extraction solvent (CHCl3), disperser solvent (ethanol) and chelating agent, name 5‐[(Z)‐isoxazol‐3‐yl‐diazenyl]‐2‐methyl‐quinolin‐8‐ol (MMD), were firstly synthesized/characterized and used. Various parameters that affect the extraction procedure such as pH, centrifugation rate and time, the chelating agent (MMD) concentration and sampling volume on the recovery of Ni(II) were investigated. The preconcentration of a 20 ml sample solution was thus enhanced by a factor of 80. The resulting calibration graph was linear in the range of 0.24–10 mg L−1 with a correlation coefficient of 0.9998. The limit of detection (3 s/b) obtained under optimal conditions was 1.00 μg L−1. The relative standard deviation for certified reference material determinations was 1.2%. The accuracy of the method was verified by the determination of Ni(II) in the certified reference material of wastewater (Waste water CWW TMD). The proposed procedure was successfully applied to the determination of Ni(II) in some fake jewelry and cosmetics samples.  相似文献

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) emitted from in vitro cultures may reveal information on species and metabolism. Owing to low nmol L−1 concentration ranges, pre‐concentration techniques are required for gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC–MS) based analyses. This study was intended to compare the efficiency of established micro‐extraction techniques – solid‐phase micro‐extraction (SPME) and needle‐trap micro‐extraction (NTME) – for the analysis of complex VOC patterns. For SPME, a 75 μm Carboxen®/polydimethylsiloxane fiber was used. The NTME needle was packed with divinylbenzene, Carbopack X and Carboxen 1000. The headspace was sampled bi‐directionally. Seventy‐two VOCs were calibrated by reference standard mixtures in the range of 0.041–62.24 nmol L−1 by means of GC–MS. Both pre‐concentration methods were applied to profile VOCs from cultures of Mycobacterium avium ssp. paratuberculosis. Limits of detection ranged from 0.004 to 3.93 nmol L−1 (median = 0.030 nmol L−1) for NTME and from 0.001 to 5.684 nmol L−1 (median = 0.043 nmol L−1) for SPME. NTME showed advantages in assessing polar compounds such as alcohols. SPME showed advantages in reproducibility but disadvantages in sensitivity for N‐containing compounds. Micro‐extraction techniques such as SPME and NTME are well suited for trace VOC profiling over cultures if the limitations of each technique is taken into account.  相似文献

Rapid, inexpensive, and efficient sample-preparation by dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction (DLLME) then gas chromatography with flame ionization detection (GC–FID) have been used for extraction and analysis of BTEX compounds (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes) in water samples. In this extraction method, a mixture of 25.0 μL carbon disulfide (extraction solvent) and 1.00 mL acetonitrile (disperser solvent) is rapidly injected, by means of a syringe, into a 5.00-mL water sample in a conical test tube. A cloudy solution is formed by dispersion of fine droplets of carbon disulfide in the sample solution. During subsequent centrifugation (5,000 rpm for 2.0 min) the fine droplets of carbon disulfide settle at the bottom of the tube. The effect of several conditions (type and volume of disperser solvent, type of extraction solvent, extraction time, etc.) on the performance of the sample-preparation step was carefully evaluated. Under the optimum conditions the enrichment factors and extraction recoveries were high, and ranged from 122–311 to 24.5–66.7%, respectively. A good linear range (0.2–100 μg L−1, i.e., three orders of magnitude; r 2 = 0.9991–0.9999) and good limits of detection (0.1–0.2 μg L−1) were obtained for most of the analytes. Relative standard deviations (RSD, %) for analysis of 5.0 μg L−1 BTEX compounds in water were in the range 0.9–6.4% (n = 5). Relative recovery from well and wastewater at spiked levels of 5.0 μg L−1 was 89–101% and 76–98%, respectively. Finally, the method was successfully used for preconcentration and analysis of BTEX compounds in different real water samples.

A simple and economical method for the determination of eight polybrominated diphenyl ethers (BDE‐28, 47, 99, 100,153,154,183, and 209) in water was developed. This method involves the use of ultrasound‐assisted dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction combined with GC‐MS in negative chemical ionization mode. Various parameters affecting the extraction efficiency, including the type and volume of extraction and dispersive solvents, salt concentration, extraction time, and ultrasonic time, were investigated. A volume of 1.0 mL of acetone (dispersive solvent) containing 10 μL tetrachloroethylene (extraction solvent) was injected into 5.0 mL of water samples and then emulsified by ultrasound for 2.0 min to produce the cloudy solution. Under the optimal condition, the enrichment factors for the eight PBDEs were varied from 845‐ to 1050‐folds. Good linearity was observed in the range of 1.0–200 ng L?1 for BDE‐28, 47, 99, and 100; 5.0–200 ng L?1 for BDE‐153, 154, and 183; and 5.0–500 ng L?1 for BDE‐209. The RSD values were in the range of 2.5–8.4% (n = 5) and the LODs ranged from 0.40 to 2.15 ng L?1 (S/N = 3). The developed method was applied for the determination of eight BPDEs in the river and lake water samples, and the mean recoveries at spiking levels of 5.0 and 50.0 ng L?1 were in the range of 70.6–105.1%.  相似文献

A new technique, namely dynamic headspace liquid-phase microextraction, has been developed for the extraction of 1,4-dioxane in cosmetic and hygiene samples followed by gas chromatography–flame ionization detection. In this method, the sample is mixed with acetone as a diluent solvent. Then, a few microliters of n-octanol are added into a home-made extraction vessel placed in the headspace of the sample. By heating, the target analyte is transferred to the headspace of the sample and then extracted into n-octanol. Under the optimized conditions, the method showed a good linearity in the range of 3.24–1000 μg kg−1 with a coefficient of determination 0.998. Figures of merit such as enrichment factor of 375, extraction recovery of 94 %, limits of detection and quantification 0.97 and 3.24 μg kg−1, respectively, and relative standard deviation 4.7 % (n = 6, C = 30 μg kg−1) of the proposed method were satisfactory for determination of the target analyte. Finally, the method was successfully applied in determination of 1,4-dioxane in various cosmetic and hygiene samples including shampoo, toothpaste, lotion, washing liquid, and dishwashing liquid.

In this paper, a novel mixed ionic liquids-dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction method was developed for rapid enrichment and determination of environmental pollutants in water samples. In this method, two kinds of ionic liquids, hydrophobic ionic liquid and hydrophilic ionic liquid, were used as extraction solvent and disperser solvent, respectively. DDT and its metabolites were used as model analytes and high-performance liquid chromatography with ultraviolet detector for the analysis. Factors that may affect the extraction recoveries, such as type and volume of extraction solvent (hydrophobic ionic liquid) and disperser solvent (hydrophilic ionic liquid), extraction time, sample pH and ionic strength, were investigated and optimized. Under the optimum conditions, the linear range was 1–100 μg L−1, limits of detection could reach 0.21–0.49 μg L−1, and relative standard deviation was 6.01–8.48 % (n = 7) for the analytes. Satisfactory results were achieved when the method was applied to analyze the target pollutants in environmental water samples with spiked recoveries over the range of 85.7–106.8 %.

A method based on dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction coupled with GC/MS was developed for quantitative analysis of the major organic pollutants listed in the United States Environmental Protection Agency method 8270 and the 15 European‐priority polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in coking wastewater. The major parameters such as extraction solvent, dispersive solvent, solution pH, and extraction time were systematically optimized. The optimum extraction conditions were found to be: 15 μL mixture of 2:1 v/v carbon tetrachloride and chlorobenzene as the extraction solvent, 0.75 mL ACN as the dispersive solvent, solution pH of 8, and extraction time of 2 min. For the major pollutants listed in the United States Environmental Protection Agency 8270, the linear ranges were 0.1 to 100 mg/L, the enrichment factors ranged from 452 to 685, and the relative recoveries ranged from 67.5 to 103.5% with RSDs of 4.0–9.1% (n = 5) at the concentrations of 10 mg/L under the optimum extraction conditions. For the 15 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, the linear ranges were 0.1 to 100 μg/L, the enrichment factors ranged from 645 to 723, and the relative recoveries ranged from 94.5 to 107.6% with RSDs of 4.6–9.0% (n = 5) at the concentrations of 10 μg/L. The usefulness of the developed method was demonstrated by applying it in the analysis of real‐world coking wastewater samples.  相似文献

Sodium sulfate‐induced deep eutectic solvent–based solidification of floating organic droplets–dispersive liquid phase microextraction was developed prior to gas chromatography–mass spectrometry. In this method, a mixture of Na2SO4 solution (as phase separation agent and disperser) containing menthol–decanoic acid was rapidly injected into an alkaline aqueous solution containing Na2SO4. The solution was placed in an ice bath and the menthol–decanoic acid solvent was solidified on the surface of the solution. Under the optimal conditions, the enrichment factors and extraction recoveries were 122–147 and 74–89%, respectively. Finally, an aliquot of the collected organic phase was removed and mixed with acetonitrile and injected into the separation system. The limits of detection and lower limits of quantification were obtained at the ranges of 13–25 and 24–41 ng L?1, respectively. The relative standard deviations of the proposed method were ≤11% for intra‐ and inter‐day precisions at four concentrations.  相似文献

A low‐cost and simple cooling‐assisted headspace liquid‐phase microextraction device for the extraction and determination of 2,6,6‐trimethyl‐1,3 cyclohexadiene‐1‐carboxaldehyde (safranal) in Saffron samples, using volatile organic solvents, was fabricated and evaluated. The main part of the cooling‐assisted headspace liquid‐phase microextraction system was a cooling capsule, with a Teflon microcup to hold the extracting organic solvent, which is able to directly cool down the extraction phase while the sample matrix is simultaneously heated. Different experimental factors such as type of organic extraction solvent, sample temperature, extraction solvent temperature, and extraction time were optimized. The optimal conditions were obtained as: extraction solvent, methanol (10 μL); extraction temperature, 60°C; extraction solvent temperature, 0°C; and extraction time, 20 min. Good linearity of the calibration curve (R2 = 0.995) was obtained in the concentration range of 0.01–50.0 μg/mL. The limit of detection was 0.001 μg/mL. The relative standard deviation for 1.0 μg/mL of safranal was 10.7% (n = 6). The proposed cooling‐assisted headspace liquid‐phase microextraction device was coupled (off‐line) to high‐performance liquid chromatography and used for the determination of safranal in Saffron samples. Reasonable agreement was observed between the results of the cooling‐assisted headspace liquid‐phase microextraction high‐performance liquid chromatography method and those obtained by a validated ultrasound‐assisted solvent extraction procedure.  相似文献

Cyanamide is widely used for agricultural purposes; therefore, its residues can be found in water. A new method was developed for its quantification using in situ derivatization with 2,6‐dimethyl‐4‐quinolinecarboxylic acid N‐hydroxysuccinimide ester followed by dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction (DLLME) and high‐performance liquid chromatography/fluorescence analysis. Multivariate chemometric techniques were successfully used to obtain the optimum conditions for direct derivatization and DLLME extraction. Derivatization parameters and DLLME extraction conditions were optimized by a two‐step design, 2k factorial design for screening, and central composite design for optimization. Best derivatization conditions were addition of 600 μL of derivatizing reagent, a temperature of 4 ºC, and pH 8.5, whereas for optimum extraction 800 μL of solvent, 30% NaCl conc. w/v, and pH 3.8 were chosen. The analytical performance of the method for routine analysis was evaluated. Excellent linearity was achieved from 10 to 200 µg L−1 with a correlation factor of 0.9996. Precision ranged from 3.5% to 5.5% for intraday assays and 8.5% to 8.6% for interday assays. The mean recoveries performed on water from different origins (ground, river, sea, tap, and mineral) at three levels of concentration (20, 75, and 200 µg L−1) ranged from 90.2% to 110.2%. A novel, fast and efficient method for the analysis of nitroaniline isomers as model compounds was developed using vortex-assisted supramolecular solvent liquid–liquid microextraction (VA-SMS-LLME). A vortex mixer was used as the mixer in supramolecular solvent liquid–liquid microextraction, and it decreased the extraction time greatly. Several important parameters influencing extraction efficiency, such as the type and volume of extraction solvent, pH of sample, salt effect and extraction time, were optimised in detail. Under the optimal conditions, the enrichment factor was 133 for p-nitroaniline, 98 for m-nitroaniline and 115 for o-nitroaniline, and the limits of detection by HPLC were 0.3, 1.0 and 0.5 μg L?1, respectively. Linearity with determination coefficient from 0.9981 to 0.9993 was evaluated using water samples spiked with the nitroanilines at fourteen different concentration ranging from 4 to 1000 μg L?1. The ranges of intra-day and inter-day precision (n = 5) at 10 μg L?1 of nitroanilines were 1.67–7.05% and 9.4–11.6%, respectively. The VA-SMS-LLME method was successfully applied for preconcentration of nitroanilines in environmental water samples.  相似文献

Dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction in combination with an in situ derivatization is suggested for methyltin compound sampling and preconcentration from water solutions. The derivatization was carried out with sodium tetraethylborate at pH 3. The effects of extraction and disperser solvents type, volume, and extraction time on the extraction efficiency were investigated. 1,2‐Dichlorobenzene was used as an extraction solvent and ethanol was used as a disperser solvent. The calibration graphs for all the analytes were linear up to 2 μg (Sn) L?1, correlation coefficients were 0.998–0.999, LODs were 0.13, 0.05, and 0.06 ng (Sn) L?1 for trimethyltin, DMT, and monomethyltin, respectively. Repeatabilities of the results were acceptable with RSDs up to 12.1%. A possibility to apply the proposed method for methyltin compound determination in water samples was demonstrated.  相似文献

A new method was developed for the simultaneous determination of deltamethrin and permethrin in water samples with homogeneous liquid–liquid microextraction via flotation assistance and gas chromatography–flame ionization detection. A special extraction cell was designed to facilitate collection of the low density solvent extracts. The sample solution was added into the extraction cell, which contained an appropriate mixture of n-hexane (as an extraction solvent) and acetone (as a homogeneous solvent). Air flotation allowed the extraction solvent to be collected from the top of the solution. Under the optimum conditions, good linearity was observed in the range of 1.0–200 μg L?1 with a correlation coefficient (r 2) greater than 0.9980 for both of the analytes. The limits of detection were 0.2 and 0.3 μg L?1 for deltamethrin and permethrin, respectively (S/N = 3). The developed method was successfully applied to determine the two pesticides in three different water samples.  相似文献

A dispersive liquid‐liquid microextraction (DLLME) technique was proposed for the enrichment and graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometric (GFAAS) determination of Cu2+ in water samples. In this method a mixture of 480 μL acetone (disperser solvent) containing 26 μg S,S‐bis(2‐aminobenzyl)‐dithioglyoxime (BAT) ligand and 20 μL carbon tetrachloride (extraction solvent) was rapidly injected by a syringe into 5 mL aqueous sample containing copper ions (analyte). Thereby, a cloudy solution formed. After centrifugation, the fine droplets containing the extracted copper complex were sedimented at the bottom of the conical test tube. This phase was collected by a microsyring and after dilution by methanol, 20 μL of it was injected into the graphite tube of the instrument for analysis. Effects of some parameters on the extraction, such as extraction and disperser solvent type and volume, extraction time, salt concentration, pH and concentration of the chelating agent were optimized. The response surface method was used for optimization of the effective parameters on the extraction recovery. Under these conditions, an enrichment factor of 312 was obtained. The calibration graph was linear in the rage of 2–50 μ L−1 Cu2+ with a detection limit of 0.03 μg L−1 and a relative standard deviation (RSD) for five replicate measurements of 3.4% at 20 μg L−1 Cu2+. The method was successfully applied to the determination of Cu2+ in some spring water samples.  相似文献

A novel dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction (DLLME) method followed by HPLC analysis, termed sequential DLLME, was developed for the preconcentration and determination of aryloxyphenoxy‐propionate herbicides (i.e. haloxyfop‐R‐methyl, cyhalofop‐butyl, fenoxaprop‐P‐ethyl, and fluazifop‐P‐butyl) in aqueous samples. The method is based on the combination of ultrasound‐assisted DLLME with in situ ionic liquid (IL) DLLME into one extraction procedure and achieved better performance than widely used DLLME procedures. Chlorobenzene was used as the extraction solvent during the first extraction. Hydrophilic IL 1‐octyl‐3‐methylimidazolium chloride was used as a dispersive solvent during the first extraction and as an extraction solvent during the second extraction after an in situ chloride exchange by bis[(trifluoromethane)sulfonyl]imide. Several experimental parameters affecting the extraction efficiency were studied and optimized with the design of experiments using MINITAB® 16 software. Under the optimized conditions, the extractions resulted in analyte recoveries of 78–91%. The correlation coefficients of the calibration curves ranged from 0.9994 to 0.9997 at concentrations of 10–300, 15–300, and 20–300 μg L?1. The relative SDs (n = 5) ranged from 2.9 to 5.4%. The LODs for the four herbicides were between 1.50 and 6.12 μg L?1.  相似文献

To reinforce the extraction efficiency of the liquid- and solid-phase microextraction methods, different cooling-assisted setups have been employed, most of which are complicated, expensive, tedious, and do not show good performances due to indirect transfer of cold to the extraction phase. In this research, a simple, low-cost and effective cooling-assisted headspace hollow fiber-based liquid-phase microextraction (CA-HS-HF-LPME) device was fabricated and evaluated, which is able to directly cool down the extraction phase in different modes of LPME. It was coupled to GC-FID and utilized for the direct determination of PAHs in contaminated soil samples using volatile organic solvents. Different effective experimental variables including type and volume of extraction solvent, extraction time and temperature, and temperature of the cooled organic solvent were evaluated and optimized. Under the optimized experimental conditions (e.g., organic extracting solvent: 3 µL of acetone; extraction time: 20 min; extraction temperature: 90 °C; and temperature of cooled organic drop: −25 °C), good linearity of calibration curves (R 2 > 0.99) was obtained in a concentration range of 1–10,000 ng g−1. The limits of detection (LODs) were obtained over the range of 0.01–0.1 ng g−1. The relative standard deviations (RSD%, n = 6) of 0.1 µg g−1 PAHs were found to be 4.7–10.1 %. The CA-HS-HF-LPME-GC-FID method was successfully used for the direct determination of PAHs in contaminated soil and plant samples, with no sample manipulation. The results were in agreement with those obtained by a validated ultrasound-assisted solvent extraction (UA-SE) method.

A novel liquid–liquid microextraction method, namely, solvent‐vapor‐assisted liquid–liquid microextraction for the determination of dimethyl phthalate, diethyl phthalate, dibutyl phthalate and bis(2‐ethylhexyl) phthalate in the aqueous samples using gas chromatography with mass spectrometry was developed. In the proposed method, extracting solvent was heated, and solvent vapor as the extracting phase was injected into the sample solution. As a result of the low temperature of the sample solution and higher density of the extracting phase than the aqueous medium, solvent vapor was condensed and an organic‐phase drop formed in the bottom of sample tube. Because of the gas status of the extracting solvent, the surface area between the extracting solvent and the aqueous sample was remarkably high. Under the optimized conditions, tetrachloride carbon was used as an extracting solvent. The method shows high coefficient of determination (R 2) values in the range of 0.5–200 and 1.0–200 ng/mL for the target analytes. Enrichment factors and limits of detection for the studied phthalates are obtained in the ranges of 2800–3000 and 0.15–0.3 ng/mL, respectively. Recoveries and relative standard deviations were in the range of 80.0–100.0 and 2.2–7.8%, respectively. The proposed method successfully used for analysis of several aqueous samples.  相似文献
