Abstract By reacting the unique Keplerate type molybdenum-oxide based polyoxometalate (NH4)42·[MoI320372·(CH3COO)30(H2O)y2]·ca.300H2·ca. 10CH3COONH4(1) with tetramethylammonium bromide, a new derivative (NH4)26[TMA]16{MoI32O372(H2O)72(CH3COO)30}·ca.7NH4CH3COO·ca.189H2O(2, TMA=tetramethylammonium) was prepared. Compound 2 was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), UV-Vis, elemental and thermogravimetric analyses. By the well-established Z-scan technique, investigations on the nonlinear opti- cal(NLO) properties of the series of compounds derived from the Keplerate type molybdenum-oxide-based poly- oxometalate, namely, the newly prepared compound 2, the three previously reported compounds, included compound 1, (NH4hs(TBA)24{Mo132O372(H2O)72(CH3COO)30}·ca.7NH4CH3COO·ca. 173H2O(3, TBA=tetrabutylammonium) and (DODA)40(NH4)2[(H2O)nMo132O372(CH3COO)3o(H20)72](4, DODA=dimethyldioctadecylammonium), reveal that the third-order nonlinearity[x(3)] values of compounds 1, 2 and 3 in the DMF/H2O solution and compound 4 in chloro- form are almost the same, which indicates that the counter cations with different length of alkyl chains show ignora- ble impacts on the NLO susceptibility. In other words, the remarkable third-order nonlinearities[x(3)≈10 19 m2/V2] mainly come from the [MoI32O372(CH3COO)30(H2O)72]42 anions. This fact reveals that the applications of the NLO active polyoxometalates in various environments(such as hydrophilic, hydrophobic, polar, apolar, etc.) can be achieved by simply varying cations to meet the demands in the design of diverse devices. Polyoxoanions of tungsten, molybdenum, and vanadium have been the subject of interest since their wide variety of compositions, structures, and properties give rise to numerous important applications[1]. From the NH4VO3/Na2Sx (or (NH4)2Sx) reaction system we synthesized several spherical octadecavanadates with Na+,K+, NH4+ or I encapsulated using hydrothermal method. These complexes include (NH4)11[V18O42(Na)]·(H2O)20 1; (NH4)11[V18O42(K)]·(H2O)6, 2; (NH4)10(Na)[V18O42(Na)]·(H2O)26, 3; (NH4)11[V18O42(NH4]·(H2O)20, 4; and (NH4)20(I)7[V18O42(I)]·(H2O)12, 5, in which the structures of 1, 2, 3, and 5 have been determined by X-ray analyses. In the analogous reaction system of (NH4)2MoS4/(NH4)2Sx, we also obtained one ellipsoidal octadecamolybdate, (NH4)4[Mo18O54(2SO4)]·(H2O)4, 6 with a standard Wells-Dawson structure[2]. Structural comparison of a new compound[(bpp)3H6]Fe2IIIFe2IIMo24V(H2PO4)8(HPO4)4(PO4)4O48(OH)12· (H2O)4·2H2O(1)[bpp=1,3-di(4-pyridyl)propane] with our previously reported two compounds[(bpy)3FeII]3· Fe2IIIFe2IIMo24V(H2PO4)8(HPO4)4(PO4)4O48(OH)12(H2O)4·12H2O(2) and[(bpy)3FeII]2FeIIFeIIIMo12V(H2PO4)2(H2-xPO4)·(H1+xPO4)(HPO4)2(PO4)2O24(OH)6(H2O)2·9H2O(x=0―1)(3)(bpy=2,2'-bipyridine), which all exhibit one-dimensional mixed-valence iron molybdophosphate anionic chains constructed by alternating connection of FeIII ions and magic[FeII(Mo6P4O31)2] units, reveals that the non-hydrogen atomic ratios of Mo:Fe:P:O within the polymeric anionic chains are the same for all the three compounds, while the polymeric anionic chains of the different compounds bear different numbers of negative charges. And therefore there exist different numbers of counter cations per {Fe2III[Fe2II(P16Mo24VO124)]} unit found in the titled compounds. It discloses that not only are the spatial assembling of counter cations and polymeric inorganic chains of three compounds quite different, but also the O―FeIII―O bond angles and FeIII―O bond lengths of the three different inorganic chains exhibit small differences. What is more important is that such small changes in bond length and bond angle in the assemblage of FeIII―O bonds lead to the considerable fluctuations of inorganic chains in their structural conformation within the three compounds, reflecting an interesting phenomenon of “flexibility" in the pure inorganic one dimensional mixed-valence iron molybdophosphate chains.  相似文献

Two new polyoxometalate(POM)-based hybrid compounds, [Cu(en)][H4Mo4O16]0.5(1)(en=ethylene- diamine) and [Ag(3-C5H6N2)2][H2PMo12O40](2)(3-C5H6N2=3-aminopyridine), containing different transition metal-amine subunits were hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, infrared spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. For compound 1, each [H4Mo4O16]4-(Mo4O16) cluster was linked to four neighboring Mo4O16 clusters through four [Cu(en)]2+ subunits to yield a (2,4)-connected 2D layer, which was further extended to a 3D supramolecular network via hydrogen bonding interactions. For compound 2, the adjacent [H2PMo12O40]- clusters were bridged by [Ag(3-C5H6N2)2]+ subunits to generate a 1D chain. The electrochemical behaviors and the photocatalytic activities of compounds 1 and 2 were studied in detail.  相似文献

A pure inorganic [P2Mo5O23]6- based cobalt complex [H8(H2O)16][Co(H2O)4(HP2Mo5O23)2] with a sandglass-like shape was synthesized and characterized by means of single-crystal X-ray diffraction, powder X-ray diffraction(PXRD), infrared spectroscopy(IR), thermogravimetry/differential scanning calorimetry(TG/DSC), ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy(UV-Vis) and cyclic voltammogram(CV). Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that the asymmetric unit of compound 1 consists of a half cobalt ion, one [P2Mo5O23]6- anion, two coordinated water molecules and eight lattice water molecules. It is especially intriguing to note that two [P2Mo5O23]6- clusters are symmetrical about the Co ion, like a sandglass. And a chair-like water cluster with an unprecedented centrosymmetric [H8(H2O)16]8+ can be observed in compound 1. Additionally, the electrochemical and catalytic properties of compound 1 were also investigated.  相似文献

Two novel 3D supramolecular architectures with hexamolybdate and phosphotungstate anions were synthesized under ionothermal conditions. The structures were named as[CuI(L1)2]2L2[Mo6O19](1) and[CuI(L3)2]2.5· H0.5[PW12O40]·H2O(2)(L1=2,2'-bipyridine, L2=4,4'-bipyridine, L3=2,2'-biimidazole) and characterized via Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR) and FT-Raman spectroscopy analyses. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that the two compounds crystallized in the space group P and were constructed through hydrogen bonding.  相似文献

In this paper, we summarise our recent research interest in the hydrothermal synthesis and structural characterisation of multi-dimensional coordination polymers. The use of N-(phosphonomethyl)iminodiacetic acid (also referred to as H4pmida) in the literature as a versatile chelating organic ligand is briefly reviewed. This molecule plays an important role in the formation of centrosymmetric dimeric [V2O2(pmida)2]4− anionic units, which were first used by us as building blocks to construct novel coordination polymers. Starting with [V2O2(pmida)2]4− in solution, we have isolated [M2V2O2(pmida)2(H2O)10] species (where M2+ = Mn2+, Co2+ or Cd2+) via the hydrothermal synthetic approach, which were then employed for the construction of [CdVO(pmida)(4,4′-bpy)(H2O)2]·(4,4′-bpy)0.5·(H2O), [CoVO(pmida)(4,4′-bpy)(H2O)2]·(4,4′-bpy)0.5, [Co(H2O)6][CoV2O2(pmida)2(pyr)(H2O)2]·2(H2O) and [Cd2V2O2(pmida)2(pyr)2(H2O)4]·4(H2O) by the inclusion of bridging organic ligands in the reactive mixtures, such as pyrazine (pyr) and 4,4′-bipyridine (4,4′-bpy). These materials can contain channel systems, and exhibit magnetic behaviour, not only due to the V4+ centres but also to the transition metal centres which establish the links between neighbouring dimeric [V2O2(pmida)2]4− anionic units. A closely related anionic moiety, [Ge2(pmida)2(OH)2]2−, was engineered to allow the study of such crystalline hybrid materials using one- and two-dimensional high-resolution solid-state NMR.  相似文献

A series of chromium(III) complexes [Cr(bipy)(HC2O4)2]Cl·3H2O (1), [Cr(phen)(HC2O4)2]Cl·3H2O (2), [Cr(phen)2(C2O4)]ClO4 (3), [Cr2(bipy)4(C2O4)](SO4)·(bipy)0.5·H2O (4) and [Mn(phen)2(H2O)2]2[Cr(phen)(C2O4)2]3ClO4·14H2O (5) were synthesized (bipy=4,4′-bipyridine, phen=1,10-phenanthroline), while the crystal structures of 1 and 3–5 have been determined by X-ray analysis. 1 and 3 are mononuclear complexes, 4 contains binuclear chromium(III) ions and 5 is a 3D supromolecule formed by complicated hydrogen bonding. 1–3 are potential molecular bricks of chromium(III) building blocks for synthesis heterometallic complexes. When we use these molecular bricks as ligands to react with other metal salts, unexpected complexes 4 and 5 are isolated in water solution. The synthesis conditions and reaction results are also discussed.  相似文献

Three novel compounds, [Co(en)3]2[Zr2(C2O4)7]·2H20(HNU-2, en=ethylenediamine), [Co(NH3)6]· [Ce(CzO4)3(H2O)]·H2O(HNU-3) and [Co(dien)2][Gd(C2On)3]·0.75H2O(HNU-4, dien=dethylenetriamine) were hydro- thermal synthesized based on the templates of [Co(en)3]C13, [C0(NH3)6]C13 and [Co(dien)2]C13, respectively. The Zr4+ Ce3+ and Gd3+ cations are all coordinated by four oxalates to form [M(C2O4)n(H2O)n]m (M=Zr, Ce or Gd; n=0 or 1; m=4 or 5), which are similar to [In(C2O4)4]5- in NKB-1, and can be regarded as 4-connected building units. A new family of heteropolytungstate complexes (NH4)21[Ln(H2O)5{Ni(H2O)}2As4W40O140xH2O(Ln=Y, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd) were prepared by the reaction of Na27[NaAs4W40O140]·60H2O with NiCl2·6H2O and Ln(NO3)3·xH2O at pH≈4.5. The crystal structures of (NH4)21[Gd(H2O)5{Ni(H2O)}2As4W40O140]·51H2O was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis and element analysis. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n with a=19.754(3), b=24.298(4), c=39.350(6) Å, β=100.612(3)°, V=18564(5) Å3, Z=2, R1(wR2)=0.0544(0.0691). The central site S1 and two opposite sites S2 of the big cyclic ligand [As4W40O140]28− are occupied by one Ln3+and two Ni2+, respectively, each site supply four Od coordinating to metal ion, another one water molecule and other five water molecules coordinate, respectively, to Ni2+and Ln3+. Polyanion [Ln(H2O)5{Ni(H2O)}2As4W40O140]21− has C2v symmetry. IR and UV–vis spectra of [NaAs4W40O140]27− of the title compounds are discussed.  相似文献

Thermal decomposition of mixed ligand thymine (2,4-dihydroxy-5-methylpyrimidine) complexes of divalent Ni(II) with aspartate, glutamate and ADA (N-2-acetamido)iminodiacetate dianions was monitored by TG, DTG and DTA analysis in static atmosphere of air. The decomposition course and steps of complexes [Ni(C5H6N2O2)(C4H5NO4)2−(H2O)2]·H2O, [Ni(C5H6N2O2)(C5H7NO4)2−(H2O)2]·H2O and [Ni(C5H6N2O2)(C6H8N2O5)2−(H2O)2]·1.5H2O were analyzed. The final decomposition products are found to be the corresponding metal oxides. The kinetic parameters namely, activation energy (E*), enthalpy (ΔH*), entropy (ΔS*) and free energy change of decomposition (ΔG*) are calculated from the TG curves using Coats–Redfern and Horowitz–Metzger equations. The stability order found for these complexes follows the trend aspartate > ADA > glutamate.  相似文献

Two new compounds, (Hbpy)3(bpy)2[K(Mo8O26)]·2H2O (1) and H3(bpy)5[K(Mo8O26)]·H2O(2) (bpy = 4,4′-bipyridine) have been synthesized under hydrothermal condition by using nearly the same starting materials, and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, TGA, XPS and single crystal X-ray diffractions. The crystal structure analyses reveal that the two compounds possess unusual networks constructed from octamolybdates, potassium ions and organic groups. Both 1 and 2 consist of an identical inorganic chain , and they have analogous structures to each other with slightly different packing modes of the organic groups and water molecules and exhibit unusual three-dimensional (3D) supramolecular networks through extensive multi-point C–HO and N–HO hydrogen-bonding interactions.  相似文献

The compound [Zn(H2O)4]2[H2As6V15O42(H2O)]·2H2O (1) has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, ESR, magnetic measurement, third-order nonlinear property study and single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The compound 1 crystallizes in trigonal space group R3, a=b=12.0601(17) Å, c=33.970(7) Å, γ=120°, V=4278.8(12) Å3, Z=3 and R1(wR2)=0.0512 (0.1171). The crystal structure is constructed from [H2As6V15O42(H2O)]4− anions and [Zn(H2O)4]2+ cations linked through hydrogen bonds into a network. The [H2As6V15O42(H2O)]6− cluster consists of 15 VO5 square pyramids linked by three As2O5 handle-like units.  相似文献

In order to investigate the influence of organic groups on the types of organoarsenic polymolybdates, the reations of p-aminophenylarsonic acid with sodium molybdate were tested at pH=3-5. Six salts were prepared and characterized. (1) (CN3H8)4 [(p-NH3C6H4As)2Mo6O25] · H2O, (2) (CN3H6)4 [(p-, NH3C6H4As )2Mo6O25 ] · 6H20, (3) Cs4 [(p-NH3C6H4As)2Mo6O25] · 4H2O, (4) C(CH3)4N]4[(p-NH3C6H4As)2Mo6O25] · 5H2O, (5) [(n-C4H9)4N]3Na[(p-NH3C6H4As)2Mo6O25] · 2H2O, (6) Ba2 NH3C6H4As)2Mo6O25] · 10H2O. The IR, UV spectra, and electrochemical behavior are reported and discussed. They should belong to the same type as that for phenyl derivative or the nitrophenyl derivatives. But the ammo groups can accept protons, so that the anion' s charge decreases. Very similar to the tungsten congener (CN3H6)4[(p-NH3C,H4As)2W6O25] · 4H2O, [(RAs)2Mo6O25]4- type of complexes are formed.  相似文献

Three new supramolecular networks based on paratungstate and N-donor bridging ligands, [H2bpmp]2.5H[H2W12O40]2H2O(1), [H2(bpp)]2[H(py―CH3)]0.25[H(py―C2H5)]0.25H1.5[H2W12O40]·4H2O(2) and [H2pip]3[H2W12O40](3)[bpmp=N,N'-bis(4-pyridylmethyl)piperazine; bpp=1,3-bis(4-pyridyl)propane; py=pyridine; pip=piperazine] were prepared by the hydrothermal synthesis and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared(IR), thermogravimetric(TG) analysis and single-crystal X-ray diffraction(XRD). All the compounds show high-dimen- sional supramolecular networks based on [H2W12O40]6- and the protonated N-donor ligands via the N―H···O―W hydrogen bonds and/or π···π stacking interactions. Three novel scandium-containing heteropolytungstates[Sc3(H2O)3NO3(PW9O34)2]10-(1a),[Sc8(H2O)2(GeW9O34)2(GeW6O26)2]12-(2a) and[Sc11(W6O10)2(OH)2(H2O)16(BiW9O33)6]27-(3a) were synthesized by reactions of ScIII ions with trilacunary Keggin precursors,[A-α-XW9O34]n-(X=P, Ge, n=9, 10) or[B-α-BiW9O33]9-, in NaOAc/HOAc buffer solution under conventional synthetic condition, respectively. All the three compounds were characterized by means of single-crystal X-ray diffraction(XRD), Fourier transform-infrared(FTIR) spectroscopy ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis) spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and thermogravimetric analysis. The aqueous solution stability of the sandwich polyanion[Sc3(H2O)3NO3(PW9O34)2]10- was also verified by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry(ESI-MS) due to its good solubility in water.  相似文献

Interaction of hydrated proton, H5O2+·(H2O)4, in dichloroethane solutions with diphosphine dioxides (L) having methyl (Ph4Me), ethyl (Ph4Et) and polyoxyethylene chains (Ph4PEG) linking two diphenyl phosphine oxide groups has been investigated. A bulky counter ion: chlorinated cobalt(III) bis(dicarbollide), [Co(C2B9H8Cl3)2], minimizes perturbation of the cation. At low concentrations, Ph4Et and Ph4PEG form anhydrous 1:1 complexes with (P)O–H+–O(P) fragment having very strong symmetrical H-bonds. At these conditions Ph4Me form another compound, H5O2+·L(H2O)2, due to lower PO basicity and optimal geometry of the chelate cycle. At higher concentrations, Ph4Me and Ph4Et form isostructural complexes H5O2+·L2, whereas Ph4PEG forms only a 1:1 complex with proton dihydrate, H3O+·H2O. In excess of free Ph4Me and Ph4Et a water molecule is introduced to the first coordination sphere of H5O2+ and the average molar ratio L/H5O2+ of the complexes exceeds 2. The composition of these complexes as a function of L and its concentration is discussed.  相似文献
