Intuitionistic fuzzy set plays a vital role in decision making, data analysis, and artificial intelligence. Many decision‐making problems consist of different types of datum, where fuzzy set theoretical approaches may fail to obtain the optimal decision. Numerous approaches for intuitionistic fuzzy decision‐making problem have been introduced in the literature to overcome these short comings. But there is no single approach that can be used to solve all kinds of problems because of the partial ordering defined on the collection of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (IFNs). Even though ranking of fuzzy numbers have been studied from early seventies in the last century, a total order on the entire class of fuzzy numbers has been introduced by Wang and Wang (Fuzzy Sets Syst 2014, 243, 131–141) only on 2014. A total order on the collection of all IFN is an open problem till today. In this article, a total order on the entire class of IFN using upper lower dense sequence in the interval [0, 1] is proposed and compared with existing techniques using illustrative examples, further an algorithm (which is problem independent) for solving any intuitionistic fuzzy multicriteria decision‐making problem (Intuitionistic fuzzy MCDM) is introduced. We formulate a new multi-stage decision process with Markov-type fuzzy transition, which is termed Markov-type fuzzy decision process. In the general framework of the decision process, both of state and action are assumed to be fuzzy itself. The transition of states is defined using the fuzzy relation with Markov property and the discounted total reward is described as a fuzzy number on a closed bounded interval. To discuss the optimization problem, a partial order of convex fuzzy numbers is introduced. In this paper the discounted total reward associated with an admissible stationary policy is characterized by a unique fixed point of the contractive mapping. Moreover, the optimality equation for the fuzzy decision model is derived under some continuity conditions. Also, an illustrated example is given to explain the theoretical results and the computation in the paper.  相似文献

A fuzzy MCDM approach is applied to the stock selection problem, where the proposed approach can deal with qualitative information in addition to quantitative information. A hierarchy of major–sub criteria is then established to reduce the dependence between criteria. The ratings of alternatives versus qualitative sub-criteria and the weights of major- and sub-criteria are assessed in linguistic terms represented by fuzzy numbers. Each sub-criterion is in a benefit, cost, or balanced nature. New standardization methods for fuzzy numbers in the cost and balanced nature are presented. The algorithms of membership functions of the final aggregation are completely developed instead of approximation. The final aggregations in fuzzy numbers are then defuzzified to crisp values in order to rank the performance of alternatives. Moreover, the ratio of market price to performance (PP) is suggested to filter the over/under-pricing of alternatives. A set of buying/selling strategies are recommended according to the performance and PP. An empirical example then demonstrates the processing of the proposed approach.  相似文献

In this paper, a new method for comparing fuzzy numbers based on a fuzzy probabilistic preference relation is introduced. The ranking order of fuzzy numbers with the weighted confidence level is derived from the pairwise comparison matrix based on 0.5-transitivity of the fuzzy probabilistic preference relation. The main difference between the proposed method and existing ones is that the comparison result between two fuzzy numbers is expressed as a fuzzy set instead of a crisp one. As such, the ranking order of n fuzzy numbers provides more information on the uncertainty level of the comparison. Illustrated by comparative examples, the proposed method overcomes certain unreasonable (due to the violation of the inequality properties) and indiscriminative problems exhibited by some existing methods. More importantly, the proposed method is able to provide decision makers with the probability of making errors when a crisp ranking order is obtained. The proposed method is also able to provide a probability-based explanation for conflicts among the comparison results provided by some existing methods using a proper ranking order, which ensures that ties of alternatives can be broken.  相似文献

Bipolar fuzzy relation equations arise as a generalization of fuzzy relation equations considering unknown variables together with their logical connective negations. The occurrence of a variable and the occurrence of its negation simultaneously can give very useful information for certain frameworks where the human reasoning plays a key role. Hence, the resolution of bipolar fuzzy relation equations systems is a research topic of great interest. This paper focuses on the study of bipolar fuzzy relation equations systems based on the max‐product t‐norm composition. Specifically, the solvability and the algebraic structure of the set of solutions of these bipolar equations systems will be studied, including the case in which such systems are composed of equations whose independent term be equal to 0. As a consequence, this paper complements the contribution carried out by the authors on the solvability of bipolar max‐product fuzzy relation equations.  相似文献

A fuzzy ordering for fuzzy sets on is presented by a fuzzy relation on which is induced by closed convex cones. The suitability of the fuzzy order is discussed using the axioms A1–A7 in (Fuzzy Sets and Systems 118 (2001) 375). For fuzzy sets on which are incomparable with respect to the fuzzy order, a method to evaluate the degree of satisfaction regarding the fuzzy order is presented by using a subsethood degree. Approximation by discrete cases is discussed for numerical calculation on the degree of the fuzzy order. Numerical examples are also given to illustrate our idea.  相似文献

This paper concentrates on a shortest path problem on a network where arc lengths (costs) are not deterministic numbers, but imprecise ones. Here, costs of the shortest path problem are fuzzy intervals with increasing membership functions, whereas the membership function of the total cost of the shortest path is a fuzzy interval with a decreasing linear membership function. By the max–min criterion suggested in [R.E. Bellman, L.A. Zade, Decision-making in a fuzzy environment, Management Science 17B (1970) 141–164], the fuzzy shortest path problem can be treated as a mixed integer nonlinear programming problem. We show that this problem can be simplified into a bi-level programming problem that is very solvable. Here, we propose an efficient algorithm, based on the parametric shortest path problem for solving the bi-level programming problem. An illustrative example is given to demonstrate our proposed algorithm.  相似文献

Recent papers were dedicated to approximate fuzzy numbers by triangular, trapezoidal or parametric fuzzy numbers, with or without additional conditions. Unfortunately, the result of approximation is not always a fuzzy number, sometimes it is not a fuzzy set. This paper presents the methods for order selection and pricing of manufacturer (supplier) with make-to-order basis when orders exceed production capacity. By quoting the concepts of triangular fuzzy numbers and linguistic variables, a fuzzy approach to evaluating buyers by taking into account both positive and negative criteria is proposed. According to the classified results of buyers, the orders will be produced with priority, declined, or determined by MIP model. The fixed quantity MIP model and flexible quantity MIP model are employed to determine the produced orders along with the production quantity and the reference amount for price reduction. By applying the concept of TOPSIS, the closeness coefficients for satisfaction grades of orders and for ranking values of buyers are used as the adjusting rates in the final pricing MIP model to set segmented price.  相似文献

This paper deals with a method for decomposing the fuzzy parametric space in multiobjective nonlinear programming problems using the generalized Tchebycheff norm. This approach is simpler than the corresponding one using the nonnegative weighted sum of objectives. Also, several results are introduced which relate two fuzzy programs with each other, one with fuzzy parameters in the constraints and the other with fuzzy parameters in both objective functions and constraints. These fuzzy parameters are characterized by fuzzy numbers. The existing results concerning the decomposition of parametric space in multiobjective convex programs using the generalized Tchebycheff norm are reformulated to study under the concept of α-pareto optimality. Such results make the study of the first type of problems rather simple. Three illustrated examples are presented in the paper which clarify the developed theory.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate Nash equilibrium strategy of two-person zero-sum games with fuzzy payoffs. Based on fuzzy max order, Maeda and Cunlin constructed several models in symmetric triangular and asymmetric triangular fuzzy environment, respectively. We extended their models in trapezoidal fuzzy environment and proposed the existence of equilibrium strategies for these models. We also established the relation between Pareto Nash equilibrium strategy and parametric bi-matrix game. In addition, numerical examples are presented to find Pareto Nash equilibrium strategy and weak Pareto Nash equilibrium strategy from bi-matrix game.  相似文献

In this paper, we define a differentiability of the type-2 fuzzy number-valued functions. The definition is based on type-2 Hukuhara difference which is defined in the paper as well. The related theorem of the differentiability of the type-2 fuzzy number-valued functions is derived. In addition, a parametric closed form of the perfect triangular quasi type-2 fuzzy numbers is introduced, and finally, the applicability and an approach to solving type-2 fuzzy differential equations are illustrated using some examples and cases.  相似文献

This paper considers a class of bilevel linear programming problems in which the coefficients of both objective functions are fuzzy random variables. The main idea of this paper is to introduce the Pareto optimal solution in a multi-objective bilevel programming problem as a solution for a fuzzy random bilevel programming problem. To this end, a stochastic interval bilevel linear programming problem is first introduced in terms of α-cuts of fuzzy random variables. On the basis of an order relation of interval numbers and the expectation optimization model, the stochastic interval bilevel linear programming problem can be transformed into a multi-objective bilevel programming problem which is solved by means of weighted linear combination technique. In order to compare different optimal solutions depending on different cuts, two criterions are given to provide the preferable optimal solutions for the upper and lower level decision makers respectively. Finally, a production planning problem is given to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed approach.  相似文献

The methodology proposed by Anand Raj and Nagesh Kumar [5] to rank the river basin planning and development alternatives under multi-criterion environment using fuzzy numbers is applied to a case study. The purpose is to find the most suitable planning of reservoirs with their associated purposes aimed at the development of one of the major peninsular river basins (Krishna river basin) in India. A set of 7 alternative systems with 8 main objectives, which are further subdivided into 18 criteria, are considered for ordering or ranking them employing the opinion (preference structure) of three experts: an acadamician, a field engineer and an official from Ministry of Water Resources, using fuzzy numbers. The fuzzy weights (wi) of alternatives (Ai) are computed using standard fuzzy arithmetic. The concepts of maximizing set and minimizing set are introduced to decide total utility or order value of each of the alternatives.  相似文献

Up to now, many inventory models have been considered in the literature. Some assume stochastic demands and others consider the deterministic case. Though they include a shortage cost due to lost sales, it is usually assumed to be known concretely and a priori. This paper introduces fuzziness of shortage cost explicitly into the classical newsboy problem. That is, we investigate the so-called fuzzy newsboy problem where its shortage cost is vague and given by an L shape fuzzy number. Then the total expected profit function also becomes a fuzzy number. Finally, we find an optimal ordering quantity realizing the fuzzy max order of the profit function (fuzzy min order considering the profit function) and compare it with the optimal ordering quantity of the non-fuzzy newsboy problem.  相似文献

In this paper we introduce the middle-parametric representation of a fuzzy number presenting some of the advantages in the use of this representation. A special attention is focused on the subset of symmetric fuzzy numbers presenting the special properties of their arithmetic. The approach on symmetric fuzzy numbers is sustained by the applications of these kinds of fuzzy numbers in fuzzy linear programming and by the presence of the symmetric Gaussian type fuzzy numbers in the theory of errors. As potential applications of the middle-parametric representation, some fuzzy interpolation problems are considered.  相似文献

A Boolean matrix is a matrix with elements having values of either 1 or 0; a fuzzy matrix is a matrix with elements having values in the closed interval [0, 1]. Fuzzy matrices occur in the modeling of various fuzzy systems, with products usually determined by the “max(min)” rule arising from fuzzy set theory. In this paper, some sufficient conditions for convergence under “max(min)” products of the powers of a square fuzzy matrix and of a fuzzy state process are established.  相似文献
