The single resonator generally reveals a single absorption band, and the resonators with different sizes or shapes have to be arranged in order to achieve multi-absorption bands. We propose the triple-band metamaterial absorber by utilizing only single resonator. Meta-atoms are made of the toothed-wheel shape metallic pattern and a continuous metallic plane, separated by a dielectric layer. The first and the third absorption bands are induced by the fundamental and the third-harmonic magnetic resonances, respectively, and the second absorption band is induced by the magnetic resonance relevant to two grooves. In addition, the diffraction peak appears between the second and the third absorption bands, due to the surface currents which are separated between the upper and the lower metallic pattern parts. The proposed structure is scalable to smaller size for the infrared and the visible regimes.  相似文献

The broadband absorber at the wavelength range from 8 to 13 μm has attracted much attention because this range is exactly the infrared transparency window of the atmosphere. In this Letter, we propose a new structure of ultra-broadband absorber, which is composed of a periodic array of single-sized titanium (Ti) patches and a sandwich (Ti/SiO2/Ti) plane. In the infrared transparency window of the atmosphere, the structure proposed can achieve nearly perfect absorption with the maximal absorptivity up to 99% for the wavelength range from 9.77 to 10.69 μm, and a high average absorptivity of 96.7% from 8 to 13 μm. The strongly localized electric field, at the interface of the top thin Ti film and the dielectric spacer of sandwich plane, leads to the ultra-broadband high absorption. In addition, this structure demonstrates the insensitivity of polarization and oblique angle. This metamaterial absorber with high performances in both bandwidth and absorptivity shows a promising prospect in applications such as thermal emitters, thermal coolers, and infrared sensors.  相似文献

本文设计了一种超薄螺旋结构超材料吸波体,其厚度(1.034 mm)约为其工作波长(4.81 GHz,6.59 GHz,9.16 GHz,12.69 GHz和13.71 GHz)的(1/60,1/44,1/32,1/23,1/21).仿真和实验结果表明,该吸波体在4.81 GHz,6.59 GHz,9.16 GHz,12.69 GHz和13.71 GHz处吸收率分别达到94.55%、99.89%、99.73%、99.26%和99.41%,实现了多频带强吸收.从表面电流和功率损耗密度两个方面分析了产生强吸收的原因,理论分析表明,多频带强吸收能在五个相邻频率处产生多阶局域表面等离激元谐振,螺旋结构之间强烈的电谐振使超材料结构单元产生强烈的吸收.该超材料吸波体设计简单、易于制作和应用,在电磁波吸收中具有应用价值.  相似文献

近年来,以聚合物为代表的高分子材料由于具有比其他光吸收材料(如半导体材料、碳基材料以及贵金属纳米材料)更好的柔性和粘弹性而受到广泛关注.本文基于等离子体再聚合技术和磁控溅射工艺在聚合物材料层上制备了具有等离激元多重杂化效应的光吸收结构,该结构具有宽谱高吸收特性.该结构的制备工艺简单易行,对不同聚合物材料具有通用性,在光学器件领域具有广泛的应用前景.  相似文献

为了解决传统的强度检测型波导激励的表面等离子体共振传感器灵敏度不高的缺点,研究平面波导激励的介质膜-金属-被测介质的可激发修正的长程表面等离子体波结构。采用离子交换的方法制备折射率可用费米函数拟合的平面波导,研究了离子交换时间对平面波导的模数及等效折射率等特性的影响,为激励波导的优化设计提供有效依据。采用制备的平面波导激励介质膜-金属-被测介质的非对称结构,研究金属材质、介质膜厚和金属膜厚等因素对修正的长程表面等离子体波特性的影响,对被测溶液的折射率进行检测。实验结果表明,其灵敏度为传统的强度检测型表面等离子体共振传感器的6倍,并且具有较好的线性关系。  相似文献

The dispersive characteristics of surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) supported by a periodically corrugated boundary between vacuum and a negative refractive index, isotropic material were studied theoretically by numerical solution of a dispersion equation. SPP dispersion curves were correlated with the optical response of the corrugated boundary in frequency regions where SPPs can be excited by a normally incident plane wave. Abrupt reflectivity variations, characterized by the presence of a near unity maximum and an almost zero minimum, were found in regions where the boundary without corrugation exhibits low reflectivity and rather featureless reflectivity curves.  相似文献

By use of photoemission-into-electrolyte spectroscopy on a cylindrical silver single crystal the optical excitation and decay of surface plasmons on high index faces of silver has been studied. After electrochemical roughening the surface plasmon excitation showed a pronounced polarization dependence. Photoemission, induced by the decay of the excited plasmon. was only detected for orientations very close to the densely packed Ag(111) face.  相似文献

提出并研究一种利用两板间微缝进行阻尼耦合的双层微穿孔板(DMPP)吸声体。该吸声体在两层微穿孔板(MPP)之间形成一个宽度小于1mm的微缝,因此其阻尼不仅可由板上的微穿孔提供,还可由两板之间形成的微缝提供。采用声电类比法建立了DMPP转移阻抗的理论模型,并进行实验验证,结果表明理论计算结果与实验吻合较好。然后利用建立的理论模型,对单层MPP和DMPP吸声体的吸声性能进行了对比研究,结果表明,相比于单层MPP,DMPP可以利用微缝提供的阻尼显著改善吸声性能,同时减少实际板厚。最后,对DMPP吸声体的吸声性能及其几何参数的关系进行研究,结果表明,当保持其它结构参数不变时,微缝宽度对DMPP吸声系数的提高存在一个最优值,超过或低于此值会导致吸声系数下降。  相似文献

A Si–ZnS double-layer subwavelength grating is theoretically used as a high-efficient polarizing beam splitter. To design this structure, the rigorous coupled-wave analysis (RCWA) is applied to study the reflectivity and transmissivity for the TE and TM polarization, respectively. Simulation results show that both the zero-order reflection for TE polarization and the zero-order transmission for TM polarization can exceed 90% in a wide tunable working incident angle range from 48° to 72°. Moreover, the proposed polarizing beam splitter has a working wavelength that is in the range of 1500–1600 nm.  相似文献

We propose and investigate a metalembedded metal-insulator-metal (MIM) structure plasmonic Bragg reflector (PBR) using the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method with PMLs (perfectly matched layers) boundary conditions. It improves the performance of conventional step profile MIM PBRs to some extent. Our numerical study reveals that the metal-embedded PBRs exhibit lower insertion loss, narrower bandgap, and reduced rippling in the transmission spectrum when compared with the step PBRs at the same normalized index contrast and transmission levels. The defect mode of the metal-embedded PBRs also exhibits higher transmission. To suppress the sidelobes in the transmission spectrum, we further smooth the end of the embedded metal, which demonstrates a better performance. Then, we find with respect to the Bragg wavelength, the longer wavelengths have a tendency to spread in the wider regions of the insulator layer; however, the shorter wavelengths have a tendency to spread in the embedded metal regions. The apodized PBRs with the embedded metal length decreasing (increasing) efficaciously suppress the ripples at the right (left) band edges. Then, we use the impedance theoretical model to explain this phenomenon. Finally, we realize a flat-top transmission band filter by connecting two apodized PBRs, and the band and center wavelength can be adjusted.  相似文献

Two semi-analytical approaches to solve the problem of light scattering on nanowire antennas are developed and compared. The derivation is based on the exact solution of the plane wave scattering problem in case of an infinite cylinder. The original three-dimensional problem is reduced in two alternative ways to a simple one-dimensional integral equation, which can be solved numerically by a method of moments approach. Scattering cross sections of gold nanowire antennas with different lengths and aspect ratios are analyzed for the optical and near-infrared spectral range. Comparison of the proposed semi-analytical methods with the numerically rigorous discrete dipole approximation method demonstrates good agreement as well as superior numerical performance.  相似文献

仿真并实验验证了基于电磁谐振的极化无关透射吸收超材料吸波体, 该吸波体可以实现低频透射和高频吸收.实验测试结果表明, 该吸波体在6.77 GHz 吸收率峰值为83.6%, 半功率带宽为4.3%, 实现窄带强吸收.为进一步拓展该谐振型超材料吸波体的吸收带宽, 利用其低频透射特性, 将两个工作于不同频段的吸波体叠加在一起, 测试结果表明, 复合后超材料吸波体的半功率带宽可以增大到10.9%, 吸收率也略有增强. 该超材料吸波体设计简单, 具有较强的实用性和应用前景. 关键词: 极化无关 透射吸收 超材料吸波体  相似文献

隐身技术对降低飞行器目标的雷达散射截面、提高飞行器目标的生存能力具有重要的意义和价值, 而在飞行器目标上引入吸波器结构是一种重要的隐身手段. 然而, 目前已有吸波器的研究主要集中在单频或多频窄带方面. 为了拓展吸波器工作频带, 基于石墨烯材料提出了一种工作于S/C波段的新型超宽带吸波器模型单元, 其中包含一个用石墨烯材料设计的方圆形双环周期结构. 调节石墨烯的表面阻抗, 使得吸收率超过90%的频带范围为2.1-9.0 GHz, 相对带宽约为124%, 实现了超宽带的吸波特性; 鉴于模型的高度对称性, 提出的吸波器模型表现出对入射波极化不敏感的吸波特性; 在不改变模型结构情况下, 调节石墨烯的静态偏置电场, 亦可调控吸波器谐振在2.0-9.0 GHz频带范围内的任意频率点处, 且达到超过99%的吸收效果. 最后采用等效电路模型方法和波的干涉理论对其吸波机理进行深入研究与分析: 从等效电路角度来讲, 方形和圆形环分别引入高、低吸波谐振频率, 二者优化叠加拓展了吸波带宽; 从干涉理论方面来看, 吸波器表面处的首次反射波与透射波的多次出射波形成较强的干涉相消现象, 有效减少了吸波器的反射回波.  相似文献

We theoretically demonstrate a broadband mode converter and multiplexer based on plasmonic waveguides loaded with structured dielectrics. The proposed device can realize conversions between a fundamental TM0 mode and a first order TM1 mode, as well as (de)multiplex them with another TM0 mode. Our design exhibits as wide as 400 nm bandwidth and as short as 6~7 μm coupling length. This work has potential application in high density photonic integrated devices for both computing and communication applications.  相似文献

In this paper we report a simple method to fabricate a novel subwavelength structure surface on fused silica substrate using one-step reactive ion etching with two-dimensional polystyrene colloidal crystals as masks. The etching process and the morphologies of the obtained structure are controlled. We show that the period of the obtained fused silica pillar-like arrays were determined by the initial polystyrene nanoparticle size. The height of pillar arrays can be adjusted by controlling the etching duration, which is proved to be of importance in tailoring the antireflection properties of subwavelength structures surface. The novel subwavelength structures surface exhibit excellent broadband antireflection properties, but the size of the pillar affects the antireflective properties in short wavelength region. We anticipate this method would offer a convenient and scalable way for inexpensive and high-efficiency high power laser field designs.  相似文献

We propose a novel approach to compute the field scattered by a particle in the near-zone, in the framework of the transition matrix formulation. This method is based on the expansion of the total near-field in terms of discrete sources vector spherical wave functions and turns out to be particularly effective to model strongly elongated or flattened particles with high permittivity. The performances are evaluated on gold spheroids with several aspect ratios. This method results very useful to understand the complex behavior of enhanced plasmon fields in resonant metallic nanostructures.  相似文献

We excited surface-plasmon polariton waves (SPPW) on Cu(111) by coupling a monochromatic optical beam with a xenon multilayer thickness grating on the metal. The SPPW excitation was detected with an angle-resolved oblique-incidence reflectivity difference technique (OI-RD). The amplitude of the resonance OI-RD signal was a quadratic function of the grating modulation depth. By monitoring the decay of the resonance OI-RD signal as a function of time and temperature, we were able to study the mass transport of xenon that plays a key role in the annealing of a “rough” Xe multilayer crystalline film.  相似文献

In order to significantly improve the absorption efficiency of monolayer molybdenum disulfide (M-MoS2), an ultra-narrowband M-MoS2 metamaterial absorber was obtained through theoretical analysis and numerical calculation using the finite difference time domain method. The physical mechanism can be better analyzed through critical coupling and guided mode resonance. Its absorption rate at λ = 806.41 nm is as high as 99.8%, which is more than 12 times that of bare M-MoS2. From the simulation results, adjusting the geometric parameters of the structure can control the resonant wavelength range of the M-MoS2. In addition, we also found that the maximum quality factor is 1256.8. The numerical result shows that the design provides new possibilities for ultra-narrowband M-MoS2 perfect absorbers in the near-infrared spectrum. The results of this work indicate that the designed structure has excellent prospects for application in wavelength-selective photoluminescence and photodetection.  相似文献

设计、仿真并实验验证了基于宽边耦合螺旋结构的低频小型化超材料吸波体. 实验测试结果表明, 该超材料吸波体在1.39 GHz吸收率达到最大为98%, 其单元尺寸和总厚度均为6.8 mm, 约为1/32工作波长, 实现小型化窄带吸波. 由于吸波体中螺旋结构是旋转对称排列的, 因而其对垂直入射电磁波的极化方向是不敏感的. 此外, 该超材料吸波体对斜入射横电和横磁极化电磁波在60°时, 仍具有强吸收. 关键词: 超材料 吸波体 小型化  相似文献
