Very thin and small (45 mm x 35 mm x 0.35 mm) piezoelectric radiators have been developed in this research. The system is modeled by using the energy method in conjunction with the assumed-modes method. Electrical system, mechanical system, and acoustic loading have all been accounted for during the modeling stage. On the basis of the simulation model, the genetic algorithm (GA) is employed to optimize the overall configurations for a low resonance frequency and a large gain. The resulting designs are then implemented and evaluated experimentally. Performance indices for the experimental evaluation include the frequency response, the directional response, the sensitivity, and the efficiency. It is found in the experimental results that the piezoelectric radiators are able to produce comparable acoustical output with significantly less electrical input than the voice-coil panel speakers.  相似文献

1-3压电复合材料的压电、介电及铁电性能要远远优于0-3压电复合材料.在制备传统的0-3复合材料过程中引入电泳技术,使得压电颗粒在聚合物基体中取向排列,制备得到伪1-3复合材料.实验结果表明:在制备PZT/环氧树脂0-3复合压电材料固化过程中,采用500 V/mm,4 kHz的电场对其进行电泳辅助取向,可使得颗粒呈现珍珠串状排列,得到伪1-3复合材料;其压电、介电、铁电性能均比原来的0-3复合材料有显著的提高.电泳辅助制备技术用于制备伪1-3复合压电材料具有操作简单、成本低廉、压电、介电、铁电性能显著提高等优点,在智能传感领域具有很好的实际应用前景.  相似文献

A relationship is proposed between the piezoelectric coefficient and the dielectric constant (or refractive index) based on classical dispersion theory. Piezoelectric lattice vibrations are associated with ionic polarizations at optical frequencies. This relation is applied to study the piezoelectric lattice vibrations in α-quartz, and agreement is found between the calculated and the measured value of the piezoelectric coefficient. No direct experimental method for measurement of piezoelectric coefficients at optical frequencies exists; however, in terms of the proposed relation, piezoelectric coefficients at optical frequencies can be evaluated from infrared reflection measurements.  相似文献

由于具有优异的压电性能,弛豫铁电单晶自上世纪90年代问世以来即成为了铁电压电领域研究的热点材料,并被认为是研发下一代高性能换能器、传感器等器件的重要压电材料。弛豫铁电单晶不但压电常数可达2500 pC/N,约为软性Pb(Zr,Ti)O3(PZT)陶瓷的5倍,而且其电致应变滞后也远小于软性PZT陶瓷。因此,弛豫铁电单晶高压电性能的产生机理一直是铁电压电领域的研究热点。本文主要介绍了弛豫铁电单晶材料在近些年的发展,从本征压电效应(晶格压电畸变)的角度归纳总结了弛豫铁电单晶高压电效应的产生机理,着重探讨了弛豫铁电单晶的重要特点—剪切压电效应。在本征效应的基础上,本文对弛豫铁电单晶压电效应与晶体组分、切向以及温度的关系进行了分析。需要指出的是,目前基于本征角度对弛豫铁电单晶高压电效应的分析仍处于定性的阶段,因而还不能完全排除一些可能导致弛豫铁电单晶高压电效应的非本征物理机制。  相似文献

We report the first experimental demonstration of a Ni-like optical-field ionization collisional soft x-ray laser. The amplifying medium is generated by focusing a circularly polarized 760 mJ, 30 fs, 10-Hz Ti:sapphire laser beam in a few mm cell filled with krypton. We have measured a gain coefficient of 78 cm(-1) on the 3d(9)4d 1S0-3d(9)4p(1)P1 transition at 32.8 nm, which is here amplified for the first time. This radiation source represents the shortest wavelength optical-field ionization collisional soft x-ray laser ever produced. The influence of the gas pressure and the pumping energy on the lasing output are also presented.  相似文献

A review is presented of the data on the design of polymer-containing piezoelectric materials: electrets exhibiting a piezoelectric effect, ferroelectric polymers, piezoelectric composites (piezoelectric ceramic + polymer), and new piezoelectric polymer materials, such as piezoelectrics based on porous polymers and elastic active dielectrics, whose piezoelectric properties considerably surpass the characteristics of conventional piezoelectric materials, as well as the characteristics of electromechanical and mechanoelectrical transducers operating in receiving, generating, and deformation-inducing modes.  相似文献

硅酸镓镧(La3Ga5SiO14,langasite,简称LGS)是一种多功能晶体。LGS和石英同属32点群,具有良好的压电和电光性质,本文在综述LGS晶体基本性质的基础上,总结了我们对这种晶体生长和性质的研究工作,测量了LGS晶体电光性质,采取措施消除旋光性影响,首次用其设计制作了电光Q开关,结果表明其效果与DKDP晶体电光Q开关相当;进而开发了高功率高重复频率Q开关,双端面泵浦模式,激光重复频率为50 KHz时,最高输出可以达到12.5瓦,脉宽为46 ns。通过改进晶体生长条件,可获得直径约50 mm,长度为100 mm,重约1000 g的光学级LGS晶体,基本满足晶体电光Q开关应用的要求。  相似文献

研究了两种商用聚丙烯蜂窝膜(PPCellular)(EUH75和SHD50)的压电性.通过热膨胀技术处理测得上述两种商品膜的压电d33系数分别可达219pC/N和196pC/N.它们比未经处理的样品提高了约两个数量级,而比著名的铁电聚合物PVDF高出一个数量级以上.在强介电气体六氟化硫(SF6)中用高达60kV的电晕电压对EUH75和SHD50样品充电后,讨论了对其压电d33系数的影响的明显差异及其差异的结构根源. 关键词: PP蜂窝膜 压电性 热膨胀技术 介电气体  相似文献

Electret microphones are produced in numbers that significantly exceed those for all other microphone types. This is due to the fact that air-borne electret sensors are of simple and low-cost design but have very good acoustical properties. In contrast, most of the discrete structure-borne sound sensors (or accelerometers) are based on the piezoelectric effect. In the present work, capacitive accelerometers utilizing the electret principle were constructed, built, and characterized. These electret accelerometers comprise a metallic seismic mass, covered by an electret film, a ring of a soft cellular polymer supplying the restoring force, and a metallic backplate. These components replace membrane, spacer, and back electrode, respectively, of the electret microphone. An adjustable static pressure to the seismic mass is generated by two metal springs. The dynamic characterization of the accelerometers was carried out by using an electrodynamic shaker and an external charge or voltage amplifier. Sensors with various seismic masses, air gap distances, and electret voltages were investigated. Charge sensitivities from 10 to 40 pC/g, voltage sensitivities from 600 to 2000 mV/g, and resonance frequencies from 3 to 1.5 kHz were measured. A model describing both the charge and the voltage sensitivity is presented. Good agreement of experimental and calculated values is found. The experimental results show that sensitive, lightweight, and inexpensive electret accelerometers can be built.  相似文献

The piezoelectric activity of PQ-50 cellular polypropylene (PP) foam (an example of a so-called ferroelectret) is measured after repeated charging in a nitrogen atmosphere at a range of pressures between 61 and 381?kPa. The results are compared against simulations using a multilayer electromechanical model based on Townsend??s model of Paschen breakdown and a realistic distribution of void heights determined from scanning electron micrographs. The modeled piezoelectric coefficients versus pressure are in good agreement with experimental data when adjusted Paschen coefficients are used, indicating that the Paschen curve for electric breakdown in gases needs to be modified for dielectric barrier discharges in microcavities. The highest d 33 coefficients were achieved for pressures above 251?kPa. For previously uncharged PP foam, the model predicts an optimal charging pressure of 186 kPa.  相似文献

The second-order nonlinear optical coefficients d(33) , d(31) , and d(15) of KTa(0.52) Nb(0.48) O(3) epitaxial thin films grown upon MgO were studied by the standard Maker fringe method of an anisotropic medium. The measured d(33)=-84pm/V is 2.8 times the d(33) of LiNbO(3). The refractive indices n(e) and n(o) at several wavelengths were determined by TE and TM waveguide mode measurements. The data presented here point out the excellent qualities of KTa(1-x) Nb(x)O (3) films for use in integrated optics applications.  相似文献

Backing effects on the underwater acoustic absorption of a viscoelastic polymer slab embedded with locally resonant scatterers are reported. The polymer slab is embedded with two layers of locally resonant scatterers, i.e. Al spheres coated by soft silicon rubber. Theoretical absorption coefficients of the polymer slab under different backings using a layer multiple scattering method show good agreement with the experimental results, which supports unambiguously the experimental observation. Then relations between the resonance modes and the low-frequency absorption peaks of the composite slab are clarified to address the absorption mechanisms. It shows that the mass of the steel backing affects evidently the low-frequency absorption, the absorption peak shifts to lower frequency range while increasing the backing mass.  相似文献

以电子束辐照交联聚丙烯(IXPP)泡沫薄板为原材料, 首先利用热压工艺对微观结构进行改性, 然后采用电晕充电方法对样品实施极化处理, 使之具有压电效应, 成为压电驻极体. 通过准静态和动态压电系数d33、复电容谱, 以及等温衰减的测量, 研究了IXPP压电驻极体膜的机电耦合性能; 同时考察了基于IXPP压电驻极体膜的振动能量采集器在{3-3}模式下对环境振动能的俘获. 结果表明, IXPP压电驻极体的准静态压电系数d33可高达620 pC/N; 厚度方向的杨氏模量和品质因数(FOM, d33·g33)分别是0.7 MPa和11.2 GPa-1; 在50, 70和90℃下进行等温老化, 经过24 h后, IXPP压电驻极体膜的准静态压电系数d33分别降低到初始值的54%, 43%和29%; 采用面积为3.14 cm2的IXPP压电驻极体膜为换能元件, 当振子质量为25.6 g, 振动频率为820 Hz时, 振动能量采集器在匹配负载附近可以输出高达65 μW/g2的功率.  相似文献

对二维声表面波压电声子晶体在射频段的带隙特性,进行了时域有限差分法(FDTD)理论推导和计算,并提出实验方法对比验证。FDTD计算模型考虑了压电效应,引入周期边界条件以节省计算空间和时间,采用完全匹配层以解决声表面波在截断边界处的虚拟反射问题。实验上分别设计有/无二维压电声子晶体的两种宽频带延迟线结构,测量两种延迟线的传输系数取差值,得到了二维压电声子晶体的带隙;其中通过时域加窗函数保留一次传输信号,进行干扰信号的去除。以铝/128°YX-LiNbO3二维压电声子晶体为例,该FDTD方法、商业有限元软件COMSOL、实验方法均得到了100500 MHz射频段内的多个带隙,三种带隙对比证明了FDTD计算带隙与实验测量带隙一致,比COMSOL计算的计算带隙精度更高。   相似文献

We show that the piezoelectric effect that describes the emergence of an electric field in response to a crystal deformation in III-V semiconductors such as GaAs and InAs has strong contributions from second-order effects that have been neglected so far. We calculate the second-order piezoelectric tensors using density-functional theory and obtain the piezoelectric field for [111]-oriented In(x)Ga(1-x)As quantum wells of realistic dimensions and concentration x. We find that the linear and the quadratic piezoelectric coefficients have the opposite effect on the field, and for large strains (large In concentration) the quadratic terms even dominate. Thus, the piezoelectric field turns out to be a rare example of a physical quantity for which the first-order and second-order contributions are of comparable magnitude.  相似文献

In this paper, the effects of inner diameters on the Z‐pinch plasma of capillary discharge soft x‐ray laser were investigated with the 3.2 mm and 4.0 mm inner diameter alumina capillaries. The intensities of the laser emitted from the 3.2 mm and 4.0 mm inner diameter alumina capillaries were measured under different initial pressures. To understand the underlying physics of the experimental measurements, the Z‐pinch plasma simulations had been conducted with a one‐dimensional cylindrical symmetry Lagrangian magneto‐hydrodynamics (MHD) code. The parametric studies of Z‐pinch plasma, such as the electron temperature, the electron density and the Ne‐like Ar ion density, were performed with the MHD code. With the experimental and the simulated results, the discussions had been conducted on the Z‐pinch plasma of Ne‐like Ar 46.9 nm laser with the 3.2 mm and 4.0 mm inner diameter alumina capillaries. The analysis had been made on the difference of the gain coefficients under the optimum pressures with both capillaries. The results of experimental studies of optical and structural properties in bulk crystals of Zn1-xBexTe (x = 0.02, 0.06 and 0.12) were presented. The amplitude and phase photoacoustic (PA) spectra were measured and analyzed in dependence on the wavelength of the excitation optical beam, at different frequencies of modulation, using the PA microphone (PAmic) and PA piezoelectric (PApze) spectroscopy methods. In this study, new ultrasound reflection and backscatter measurements in cancellous bone using a membrane-type hydrophone are proposed. A membrane hydrophone made of a piezoelectric polymer film mounted on an annular frame allows an incident ultrasound wave to pass through its aperture because it has no backing material. Therefore, in measurements using the membrane hydrophone, the receiving area could be located independently from the transmitting area. In addition, the size and shape of the receiving area, which corresponded to those of the electrode deposited on the piezoelectric film, could be arranged in various ways. To investigate the validity of the proposed measurements, before bench-top experiments, the reflected and backscattered waves from cancellous bone were numerically simulated using a finite-difference time-domain method. The reflection and backscatter parameters were measured on various receiving areas, and their correlation coefficients with the structural parameters in the cancellous bone were derived. The simulated results suggested that appropriate receiving areas for the reflection and backscatter measurements could exist and that the proposed measurements could be more effective for evaluating bone properties than conventional measurements.  相似文献
