The melt ring‐opening/condensation reaction of trans‐4‐hydroxy‐N‐benzyloxycarbonyl‐L‐proline (N‐CBz‐Hpr) with cyclic carbonate [trimethylene carbonate (tri‐MC) or tetramethylene carbonate (tetra‐MC)] at a wide range of molar fractions in the feed produced new degradable poly(ester‐carbonate)s. The influence of reaction conditions such as polymerization time and temperature on the yield and inherent viscosity of the copolymers was investigated. The polymerizations were carried out in bulk at 140 °C with 1.5 wt % stannous octoate as a catalyst for 30 h. The poly(ester‐carbonate)s obtained were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, 1H NMR, differential scanning calorimetry, gel permeation chromatography, and Ubbelohde viscometry. The copolymers synthesized exhibited moderate molecular weights with rather narrow molecular weight distributions. The values of the glass‐transition temperature (Tg) of the copolymers depend on the molar fractions of cyclic carbonate. For the poly(N‐CBz‐Hpr‐co‐tri‐MC) system, with a decreased tri‐MC content from 93 to 16 mol %, the Tg increased from ?10 to 60 °C. Similarly, for the poly(N‐CBz‐Hpr‐co‐tetra‐MC) system, when the tetra‐MC content decreased from 80 to 8 mol %, the Tg increased from ?18 to 52 °C. The relationship between the poly(N‐CBz‐Hpr‐co‐tri‐MC) Tg and the compositions was in approximation with the Fox equation. In vitro degradation of these poly(N‐CBz‐Hpr‐co‐tri‐MC)s was evaluated from weight‐loss measurements. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Polym Sci Part A: Polym Chem 41: 1435–1443, 2003  相似文献

A series of novel types of three‐armed poly(trans‐4‐hydroxy‐N‐benzyloxycarbonyl‐L ‐proline)‐block‐poly(ε‐caprolactone) (PHpr‐b‐PCL) copolymers were successfully synthesized via melt block copolymerization of trans‐4‐hydroxy‐N‐benzyloxycarbonyl‐L ‐proline (N‐CBz‐Hpr) and ε‐caprolactone (ε‐CL) with a trifunctional initiator trimethylolpropane (TMP) and stannous octoate (SnOct2) as a catalyst. For the homopolycondensation of N‐CBz‐Hpr with TMP initiator and SnOct2 catalyst, the number‐average molecular weight (Mn) of prepolymer increases from 530 to 3540 g mol?1 with the molar ratio of monomer to initiator (3–30), and the molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) is between 1.25 to 1.32. These three‐armed prepolymer PHpr were subsequently block copolymerized with ε‐caprolactone (ε‐CL) in the presence of SnOct2 as a catalyst. The Mn of the copolymer increased from 2240 to 18,840 g mol?1 with the molar ratio (0–60) of ε‐CL to PHpr. These products were characterized by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), 1H NMR, and gel permeation chromatography. According to DSC, the glass‐transition temperature (Tg) of the three‐armed polymers depended on the molar ratio of monomer/initiator that were added. In vitro degradation of these copolymers was evaluated from weight‐loss measurements and the change of Mn and Mw/Mn. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of new well‐defined amphiphilic graft copolymers containing hydrophobic poly(tert‐butyl acrylate) backbone and hydrophilic poly(ethylene oxide) side chains were reported. Reversible addition‐fragmentation chain transfer homopolymerization of tert‐butyl 2‐((2‐bromopropanoyloxy)methyl)acrylate was first performed to afford a well‐defined backbone with a narrow molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn = 1.07). The target poly(tert‐butyl acrylate)‐g‐poly(ethylene oxide) (PtBA‐g‐PEO) graft copolymers with low polydispersities (Mw/Mn = 1.18–1.26) were then synthesized by atom transfer nitroxide radical coupling or single electron transfer‐nitroxide radical coupling reaction using CuBr(Cu)/PMDETA as catalytic system. Fluorescence probe technique was employed to determine the critical micelle concentrations (cmc) of the obtained amphiphilic graft copolymers in aqueous media. Furthermore, PAA‐g‐PEO graft copolymers were obtained by selective acidic hydrolysis of hydrophobic PtBA backbone while PEO side chains kept inert. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Polyisobutylene‐b‐poly(N,N‐diethylacrylamide) (PIB‐b‐PDEAAm) well‐defined amphiphilic diblock copolymers were synthesized by sequential living carbocationic polymerization and reversible addition‐fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization. The hydrophobic polyisobutylene segment was first built by living carbocationic polymerization of isobutylene at ?70 ° C followed by multistep transformations to give a well‐defined (Mw/Mn = 1.22) macromolecular chain transfer agent, PIB‐CTA. The hydrophilic poly(N,N‐diethylacrylamide) block was constructed by PIB‐CTA mediated RAFT polymerization of N,N‐diethylacrylamide at 60 ° C to afford the desired well‐defined PIB‐b‐PDEAAm diblock copolymers with narrow molecular weight distributions (Mw/Mn ≤1.26). Fluorescence spectroscopy, transmission electron microscope, and dynamic light scattering (DLS) were employed to investigate the self‐assembly behavior of PIB‐b‐PDEAAm amphiphilic diblock copolymers in aqueous media. These diblock copolymers also exhibited thermo‐responsive phase behavior, which was confirmed by UV‐Vis and DLS measurements. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Sci., Part A: Polym. A functionalized cyclic carbonate monomer containing a cinnamate moiety, 5‐methyl‐5‐cinnamoyloxymethyl‐1,3‐dioxan‐2‐one (MC), was prepared for the first time with 1,1,1‐tri(hydroxymethyl) ethane as a starting material. Subsequent polymerization of the new cyclic carbonate and its copolymerization with L ‐lactide (LA) were successfully performed with diethyl zinc (ZnEt2) as initiator/catalyst. NMR was used for microstructure identification of the obtained monomer and copolymers. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) was used to characterize the functionalized poly(ester‐carbonate). The results indicated that the copolymers displayed a single glass transition temperature (Tg) and the Tg decreased with increasing carbonate content and followed the Fox equation, indicative of a random microstructure of the copolymer. The photo‐crosslinking of the cinnamate‐carrying copolymer was also demonstrated. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Polym Sci Part A: Polym Chem 47: 161–169, 2009  相似文献

Poly(N‐phenylitaconimide) (polyPhII) was prepared using initiators for continuous activator regeneration atom transfer radical polymerization of PhII using FeBr3 complexes as catalysts. Conversion reached 69% in 24 h, yielding polyPhII with a number average molecular weight Mn = 11,900 and a molecular weight distribution Mw/Mn = 1.52. Copolymerizations of PhII with styrene at various molar ratios were performed providing a range of polyPhII‐copolySt polymers. When the copolymerization was carried out with higher [St]0 > [PhII]0 ratio, a one‐pot synthesis of poly(St‐alt‐PhII)‐b‐polySt was achieved. The thermal properties of the obtained copolymers were studied by differential scanning calorimetry. PolyPhII prepared by ATRP showed high glass transition temperature (Tg) of 216 °C and the poly(St‐alt‐PhII)‐b‐polySt exhibited two Tgs, at 162 and 104 °C, corresponding to a poly(St‐alt‐PhII) and polySt segments, respectively. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of novel copolymers of trans‐4‐hydroxy‐L ‐proline (Hpr) and α‐ hydroxy acids [D,L ‐mandelic acid (DLMA) and D,L ‐lactic acid (DLLA)] were synthesized via direct melt copolymerization with stannous octoate as a catalyst. These new copolymers had pendant amine functional groups along the polymer backbone chain. The optimal reaction conditions for the synthesis of the copolymers were obtained with 4 wt % stannous octoate at 140 °C under vacuum for 16 h. The synthesized copolymers were characterized by IR spectrophotometry, proton nuclear magnetic resonance, differential scanning calorimetry, and Ubbelohde viscometry. The effects of the kinds of comonomers and the comonomer molar ratio on the polycondensation and glass‐transition temperature (Tg) were investigated. The Tg's of the copolymers shifted to lower temperatures with an increasing comonomer molar ratio. As expected, the Tg's of the NZ‐Hpr/DLMA copolymers were higher than the NZ‐Hpr/DLLA copolymers, the pendant groups on the monomers (NZ‐Hpr) became larger and more flexible, and the Tg's of the resulting polymers declined. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Ethylene glycol (EG) initiated, hydroxyl‐telechelic poly(L ‐lactide) (PLLA) was employed as a macroinitiator in the presence of a stannous octoate catalyst in the ring‐opening polymerization of 5‐methyl‐5‐benzyloxycarbonyl‐1,3‐dioxan‐2‐one (MBC) with the goal of creating A–B–A‐type block copolymers having polycarbonate outer blocks and a polyester center block. Because of transesterification reactions involving the PLLA block, multiblock copolymers of the A–(B–A)n–B–A type were actually obtained, where A is poly(5‐methyl‐5‐benzyloxycarbonyl‐1,3‐dioxan‐2‐one), B is PLLA, and n is greater than 0. 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy of the product copolymers yielded evidence of the multiblock structure and provided the lactide sequence length. For a PLLA macroinitiator with a number‐average molecular weight of 2500 g/mol, the product block copolymer had an n value of 0.8 and an average lactide sequence length (consecutive C6H8O4 units uninterrupted by either an EG or MBC unit) of 6.1. For a PLLA macroinitiator with a number‐average molecular weight of 14,400 g/mol, n was 18, and the average lactide sequence length was 5.0. Additional evidence of the block copolymer architecture was revealed through the retention of PLLA crystallinity as measured by differential scanning calorimetry and wide‐angle X‐ray diffraction. Multiblock copolymers with PLLA crystallinity could be achieved only with isolated PLLA macroinitiators; sequential addition of MBC to high‐conversion L ‐lactide polymerizations resulted in excessive randomization, presumably because of residual L ‐lactide monomer. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Thermo‐responsive block copolymers based on poly(N‐vinylcaprolactam) (PNVCL) have been prepared by cobalt‐mediated radical polymerization (CMRP) for the first time. The homopolymerization of NVCL was controlled by bis(acetylacetonato)cobalt(II) and a molecular weight as high as 46,000 g/mol could be reached with a low polydispersity. The polymerization of NVCL was also initiated from a poly(vinyl acetate)‐Co(acac)2 (PVAc‐Co(acac)2) macroinitiator to yield well‐defined PVAc‐b‐PNVCL block copolymers with a low polydispersity (Mw/Mn = 1.1) up to high molecular weights (Mn = 87,000 g/mol), which constitutes a significant improvement over other techniques. The amphiphilic PVAc‐b‐PNVCL copolymers were hydrolyzed into unprecedented double hydrophilic poly(vinyl alcohol)‐b‐PNVCL (PVOH‐b‐PNVCL) copolymers and their temperature‐dependent solution behavior was studied by turbidimetry and dynamic light scattering. Finally, the so‐called cobalt‐mediated radical coupling (CMRC) reaction was implemented to PVAc‐b‐PNVCL‐Co(acac)2 precursors to yield novel PVAc‐b‐PNVCL‐b‐PVAc symmetrical triblock copolymers. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Novel, biodegradable poly(?‐caprolactone)‐block‐poly(trans‐4‐hydroxy‐N‐benzyloxycarbonyl‐L ‐proline)‐block‐poly(?‐caprolactone) triblock copolymers were synthesized by ring‐opening polymerization from dihydroxyl‐terminated macroinitiator poly(trans‐4‐hydroxy‐N‐benzyloxycarbonyl‐L ‐proline) (PHpr) and ?‐caprolactone (?‐CL) with stannous octoate as the catalyst. The molecular weights were characterized with gel permeation chromatography and matrix‐assisted laser desorption/ionization time‐of‐flight mass spectrometry. With an increase in the contents of ?‐CL incorporated into the copolymers, a decrease in the glass‐transition temperature (Tg) was observed. The Tg values of copoly(4‐phenyl‐?‐caprolactone) and copoly(4‐methyl‐?‐caprolactone) were higher than Tg of copoly(?‐caprolactone). Their micellar characteristics in an aqueous phase were investigated with fluorescence spectroscopy, dynamic light scattering, and transmission electron microscopy. The block copolymers formed micelles in the aqueous phase with critical micelle concentrations in the range of 1.00–1.36 mg L?1. With higher molecular weights and hydrophobic components in the copolymers, a higher critical micelle concentration was observed. As the feed weight ratio of antitriptyline hydrochloride (AM) to the polymer increased, the drug loading increased. The micelles exhibited a spherical shape, and the average size was less than 250 nm. The in vitro hydrolytic degradation and controlled drug release properties of the triblock copolymers were also investigated. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Well‐defined amphiphilic polymethylene‐b‐poly (acrylicacid) diblock copolymers have been synthesized via a new strategy combining polyhomologation and atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). Hydroxyl‐terminated polymethylenes (PM‐OH) with different molecular weights and narrow molecular weight distribution are obtained through the polyhomologation of dimethylsulfoxonium methylides following quantitative oxidation via trimethylamine‐N‐oxide dihydrate. Subsequently, polymethylene‐based macroinitiators (PM‐MIs Mn = 1,300 g mol?1 [Mw/Mn = 1.11] and Mn = 3,300 g mol?1 [Mw/Mn = 1.04]) are synthesized by transformation of terminal hydroxyl group of PM‐OH to α‐haloester in ~100% conversion. ATRPs of tert‐butyl acrylate (t‐BuA) are then carried out using PM‐MIs as initiator to construct PM‐b‐P(t‐BuA) diblock copolymers with controllable molecular weight (Mn = 8,800–15,800 g mol?1 Mw/Mn = 1.04–1.09) and different weight ratio of PM/P(t‐BuA) segment (1:1.7–1:11.2). The amphiphilic PM‐b‐PAA diblock copolymers are finally prepared by hydrolysis of PM‐b‐P(t‐BuA) copolymers and their self‐assembly behavior in water is preliminarily investigated via the determination of critical micelle concentrations, dynamic light scattering, and transmission electron microscope (TEM). © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Two new amphiphilic star graft copolymers bearing hydrophobic poly(tert‐butyl acrylate) backbone and hydrophilic poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) side chains with different molecular weights were synthesized by sequential reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization and single electron transfer‐nitroxide radical coupling (SET‐NRC) reaction under mild conditions. RAFT homopolymerization of tert‐butyl 2‐((2‐bromopropanoyloxy)methyl)acrylate was mediated by a four‐armed chain transfer agent in a controlled way to afford a well‐defined starlike backbone with a narrow molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn = 1.26). The target poly(tert‐butyl acrylate)‐g‐PEO (PtBA‐g‐PEO) star graft copolymers were synthesized by SET‐NRC reaction between Br‐containing PtBA‐based starlike backbone and PEO end functionalized with 2,2,6,6‐tetramethylpiperidine‐1‐oxyl (TEMPO) group using copper/N,N,N′,N′,N″‐pentamethyldiethylenetriamine as catalytic system at ambient temperature via grafting‐onto strategy. The critical micelle concentration values of the obtained amphiphilic star graft copolymers in aqueous media and brine were determined by fluorescence probe technique using pyrene as probe. Diverse micellar morphologies were formed by varying the content of hydrophilic PEO segment as well as the initial concentration of stock solution. In addition, poly(acrylic acid)‐g‐PEO double hydrophilic star graft copolymers were obtained by selective acidic hydrolysis of hydrophobic PtBA starlike backbone without affecting PEO side chains. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of well‐defined amphiphilic graft copolymers containing hydrophilic poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) backbone and hydrophobic poly(vinyl acetate) (PVAc) side chains were synthesized via sequential reversible addition‐fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization followed by selective hydrolysis of poly(tert‐butyl acrylate) backbone. A new Br‐containing acrylate monomer, tert‐butyl 2‐((2‐bromopropanoyloxy)methyl) acrylate, was first prepared, which can be polymerized via RAFT in a controlled way to obtain a well‐defined homopolymer with narrow molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn = 1.08). This homopolymer was transformed into xanthate‐functionalized macromolecular chain transfer agent by reacting with o‐ethyl xanthic acid potassium salt. Grafting‐from strategy was employed to synthesize PtBA‐g‐PVAc well‐defined graft copolymers with narrow molecular weight distributions (Mw/Mn < 1.40) via RAFT of vinyl acetate using macromolecular chain transfer agent. The final PAA‐g‐PVAc amphiphilic graft copolymers were obtained by selective acidic hydrolysis of PtBA backbone in acidic environment without affecting the side chains. A series of well‐defined double hydrophilic double‐grafted copolymers, consisting of polyacrylate backbone, hydrophilic poly(2‐(diethylamino)ethyl methacrylate) and poly(ethylene glycol) side chains, were synthesized by successive atom transfer radical polymerization. The backbone, poly[poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether acrylate] (PPEGMEA) comb copolymer, was firstly prepared by ATRP of PEGMEA macromonomer via the grafting‐through route followed by reacting with lithium diisopropylamide and 2‐bromopropionyl chloride to give PPEGMEA‐Br macroinitiator of ATRP. Finally, poly[poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether acrylate]‐g‐poly(2‐(diethylamino)ethyl methacrylate) graft copolymers were synthesized by ATRP of 2‐(diethylamino)ethyl methacrylate using PPEGMEA‐Br macroinitiator via the grafting‐from route. Poly(2‐(diethylamino)ethyl methacrylate) side chains were connected to polyacrylate backbone through stable C? C bonds instead of ester connections, which is tolerant of both acidic and basic environment. The molecular weights of both backbone and side chains were controllable and the molecular weight distributions kept relatively narrow (Mw/Mn ≤ 1.39). The results of fluorescence spectroscopy, dynamic laser light scattering and transmission electron microscopy showed this double hydrophilic copolymer was stimuli‐responsive to both pH and salinity. It can aggregate to form reversible micelles in basic surroundings which can be conveniently dissociated with the addition of salt at room temperature. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The synthesis of hydroxyproline‐based telechelic prepolymers by the condensation polymerization of trans‐4‐hydroxy‐N‐benzyloxycarbonyl‐L ‐proline methyl ester was investigated. All the polymerizations were carried out in the melt with stannous octoate as the catalyst and with different diols. The products were characterized by differential scanning calorimetry, proton nuclear magnetic resonance, infrared spectrophotometry, and inherent viscosity (ηinh). According to the analytic results, the ηinh value of the prepolymers depended on the kind and amount of diols that were added. With an increase in the 1,6‐hexanediol feed from 2 to 10 mol %, there was a decrease in ηinh from 0.78 to 0.41 along with a decrease in the glass‐transition temperature (Tg ) from 63 to 42 °C. When 2 mol % of different kinds of diols were used, ηinh ranged from 0.78 to 0.21, and Tg varied from 70 to 43 °C. These new prepolymers could be linked to poly(ester‐urethane) by the chain extender 1,6‐hexamethylene diisocyanate. The poly(ester‐urethane) was amorphous, and the Tg was 76 °C. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. J Polym Sci A: Polym Chem 38: 2449–2455, 2000  相似文献

A series of well‐defined amphiphilic star graft copolymers consisting of hydrophilic poly(acrylic acid) backbone and hydrophobic poly(propylene oxide) side chains were synthesized by the sequential reversible addition‐fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization and atom transfer nitroxide radical coupling (ATNRC) or single electron transfer‐nitroxide radical coupling (SET‐NRC) reaction followed by the selective hydrolysis of poly(tert‐butyl acrylate) backbone. A Br‐containing acrylate monomer, tert‐butyl 2‐((2‐bromopropanoyloxy)methyl)acrylate, was first homopolymerized via RAFT polymerization using a new star‐like chain‐transfer agent with four arms in a controlled way to give a well‐defined star‐like backbone with a narrow molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn = 1.23). The grafting‐onto strategy was used to synthesize the well‐defined PtBA‐g‐PPO star graft copolymers with narrow molecular weight distributions (Mw/Mn = 1.14–1.25) via ATNRC or SET‐NRC reaction between the Br‐containing PtBA‐based star‐like backbone and poly(propylene oxide) with 2,2,6,6‐tetramethylpiperidine‐1‐oxyl end group using CuBr/PMDETA or Cu/PMDETA as catalytic system. A well‐defined amphiphilic graft copolymer, consisting of hydrophobic polyallene‐based backbone and hydrophilic poly(N‐isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM) side chains, was prepared by the combination of living coordination polymerization, single electron transfer‐living radical polymerization (SET‐LRP), and the grafting‐from strategy. First, the double‐bond‐containing backbone was prepared by [(η3‐allyl)NiOCOCF3]2‐initiated living coordination polymerization of 6‐methyl‐1,2‐heptadiene‐4‐ol (MHDO). Next, the pendant hydroxyls in every repeating unit of poly(6‐methyl‐1,2‐heptadiene‐4‐ol) (PMHDO) homopolymer were treated with 2‐chloropropionyl chloride to give PMHDO‐Cl macroinitiator. Finally, PNIPAM side chains were grown from PMHDO backbone via SET‐LRP of N‐isopropylacrylamide initiated by PMHDO‐Cl macroinitiator in N,N‐dimethylformamide/2‐propanol using copper(I) chloride/tris(2‐(dimethylamino)ethyl)amine as catalytic system to afford PMHDO‐g‐PNIPAM graft copolymers with a narrow molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn = 1.19). The critical micelle concentration (cmc) in water was determined by fluorescence probe technique and the effects of pH and salinity on the cmc of PMHDO‐g‐PNIPAM were also investigated. Graft copolymers of poly(tulipalin A) (PT) and poly(DL‐lactide) (PDLLA) (PT‐g‐PDLLA) having various graft lengths and ratios were synthesized by free‐radical copolymerization of α‐methylene‐γ‐butyrolactone (MBL) and PDLLA macromonomers (HEMA‐PDLLA) terminated by 2‐hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA)‐terminated. HEMA‐PDLLA were synthesized by ring opening polymerization (ROP) of DL‐lactide in the presence of HEMA. Both HEMA‐PDLLA and the copolymers were characterized by NMR spectroscopy and gel permeation chromatography (GPC). The thermal properties of the graft copolymers were found to depend on the graft length and the ratio. The copolymers consisting of PDLLA side chains of Mn = 500 Da showed a single Tg between Tgs of the two component polymers, suggesting a miscible state of PT and PDLLA. In contrast, the copolymers consisting of PDLLA side chains of Mn = 1100, 2000, and 7000 Da showed two isolated Tg, suggesting two segregated domains. The AFM phase images of the copolymers supported the single and phase‐separated morphologies for the former and latter systems, respectively. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of well‐defined amphiphilic graft copolymer containing hydrophobic polyallene‐based backbone and hydrophilic poly(2‐(diethylamino)ethyl acrylate) (PDEAEA) side chains was synthesized by sequential living coordination polymerization of 6‐methyl‐1,2‐heptadiene‐4‐ol (MHDO) and single electron transfer‐living radical polymerization (SET‐LRP) of 2‐(diethylamino)ethyl acrylate (DEAEA). Ni‐catalyzed living coordination polymerization of MHDO was first performed in toluene to give a well‐defined double‐bond‐containing poly(6‐methyl‐1,2‐heptadiene‐4‐ol) (PMHDO) homopolymer with a low polydispersity (Mw/Mn = 1.10). Next, 2‐chloropropionyl chloride was used for the esterification of pendant hydroxyls in every repeating unit of the homopolymer so that the homopolymer was converted to PMHDO‐Cl macroinitiator. Finally, SET‐LRP of DEAEA was initiated by the macroinitiator in tetrahydrofuran/H2O using CuCl/tris(2‐(dimethylamino)ethyl)amine as catalytic system to afford well‐defined PMHDO‐g‐PDEAEA graft copolymers (Mw/Mn ≤ 1.22) through the grafting‐from strategy.
