The buckling problem for longitudinally corrugated cylindrical shells under external pressure is solved. The solution makes
practically exact allowance for the geometry and buckling modes of the shell. The inaccuracy of the results is due to the
assumption that the subcritical state is momentless. Shells consisting of cylindrical panels of smaller radius and noncircular
shells with sinusoidal corrugations are analyzed for stability. The practical applicability of such shells is demonstrated

圆柱壳是工程实际中广泛应用的结构,其主要破坏形式是屈曲失稳.作为力学领域的经典问题,圆柱壳稳定性问题的研究非常之多.其中,受均匀轴向压力的圆柱壳由于临界屈曲载荷的理论预测值与早期试验结果之间的巨大差异,更是推动了壳体稳定性理论的不断发展.本文简要回顾了壳体稳定性理论的发展和分类,并对轴压圆柱壳体试验结果分散且远低于理论预测值的原因及含缺陷圆柱壳体的稳定性研究方法进行了总结,然后综述了地下空间顶管、储油罐、加筋圆柱壳及脱层圆柱壳等实际工程中广泛应用的圆柱壳结构稳定性研究的现状和趋势,最后展望了将来对工程应用中圆柱壳结构的稳定性研究的难点和方向. 相似文献

Experimental studies on dynamic plastic buckling of circular cylindrical shells under axial impact 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
In the present paper, experimental studies on dynamic plasticbuckling of circular cylindrical shells under axial impact are
carried out. Hopkinson bar and drop hammer apparatus are used for dynamic loading. Three groups of circular cylindrical shells
made of copper are tested under axial impact. From the experiments, the first critical velocity corresponding to the axi-symmetric
buckling mode and the second critical velocity corresponding to the non-axisymmetric buckling mode are determined. The present
results come close to those of second critical velocity given by Wang Ren[4–6]. Two different kinds of non-axisymmetric buckling modes oval-shaped and triangle shaped are founded. The buckling modes under
two loading cases, viz. with small mass but high velocity and with large mass and low velocity using Hopkinson bar and drop
hammer, are different. Their critical energies are also discussed.

A solution is obtained to describe the stability and initial postbuckling behavior of cylindrical shells made of composites
with one plane of symmetry. The solution is based on the Donnell-Mushtari-Vlasov nonlinear theory of anisotropic shells and
Koiter’s theory of buckling and postbuckling behavior. Calculated results are presented for boron plastic shells with reinforcement
of different types under external pressure. It is shown that the conventional model of a composite as an orthotropic material
is erroneous for many types of reinforcement

运用有限元特征值分析方法对应力波作用下圆柱壳塑性轴对称动力失稳问题进行了研究。基于应力波理论和相邻平衡准则导出了圆柱壳轴对称动力失稳时的特征方程,在分析中同时考虑了应力波效应及横向惯性效应,把圆柱壳塑性动力失稳问题归结为特征值问题。通过引入圆柱壳动力失稳时的波前约束条件实现了此类问题的有限元特征值解法。计算结果揭示了圆柱壳塑性轴对称动力屈曲变形发展的机理,以及轴向应力波和屈曲变形的相互作用规律。 相似文献

The paper presents an analytical solution describing the stability and postbuckling behavior of a cylindrical shell made of
an anisotropic material with one plane of symmetry and subjected to torques at the ends. The solution is found using Koiter's
buckling theory and the Donnell-Mushtari-Vlasov theory of anisotropic shells. The force and deflection functions are approximated
by trigonometric series that satisfy hinged boundary conditions. The system of algebraic equations to which the problem is
reduced at the main stage of solution is analyzed. Specific results on stability and sensitivity to imperfections of boron-plastic
shells consisting of layers with different reinforcement directions are obtained

圆柱薄壳的动相变屈曲行为 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
利用MTS809材料试验机对TiNi圆柱薄壳进行了轴向动渐进相变屈曲实验,对轴向冲击下处于伪弹性状态的TiNi合金柱壳的动相变屈曲行为进行了数值模拟研究。结果表明,不同的加载强度将会激发出柱壳不同的动屈曲响应模态。当冲击速度较高时,柱壳两端首先形成轴对称环形相变屈曲波纹,并产生应力平台;随着马氏体含量不断增加,环形相变屈曲波纹逐渐贯穿整个壳体,名义应力缓慢抬升;当名义应变超过一定阈值时,对称环形屈曲模态突变为非轴对称块状屈曲模态,名义应力大幅下降。撞击速度为40 m/s的算例(含10%随机缺陷)与S.Nemat-Nasser等的实验结果很好吻合,说明本文中计算模型、方法和结果的有效性经过了实验的考核。结果还表明,相变耗能是TiNi柱壳吸收冲击能量的主要机制,适合制作可重复使用的高效吸能元件,并给出了相应的理想厚径比。 相似文献

The basic equations are derived from Reissner's theory of thin shells and assumptions that materials of the layers are linear thermoelastic. The conditions for the buckling of shells are determined. Corrugated shells of revolution that may be considered cylindrical when the corrugation amplitude is small are analyzed for
stability. The corrugations are transverse to the axis of revolution. Isotropic and orthotropic shells with sine-shaped meridian
under uniform external compression are analyzed for stability. It is shown that the stability of corrugated shells can be
significantly improved, compared with cylindrical shells, by selecting appropriate number and amplitude of half-waves. A relationship

This article reports an experimental investigation on the axial impact buckling of thin metallic cylindrical shells fully
filled with water. Low velocity impact tests are carried out by DHR-9401 drop hammer rig. The whole process of dynamic buckling
is simulated using LS-DYNA computer code. The consistency between experimental observation and numerical simulation is quite
satisfactory. The investigation indicates that quite high internal hydrodynamic pressure occurs inside the shell during the
impact process. Under the combined action of the high internal pressure and axial compression plastic buckling occurs easily
in the thin-walled shells and buckling modes take on regular and axisymmetric wrinkles.
