The problems of stability and optimal control for stochastic difference equations are receiving important attention now (see, for example, [1–3]). In this paper, the optimal control in final form is obtained for optimal control problem of stochastic linear difference equation with unknown parameters and square cost functional. We consider the controlled stochastic Navier–Stokes equations in a bounded multidimensional domain, where the noise term allows jumps. In order to prove existence and uniqueness of an optimal control w.r.t. a given control problem, we first need to show the existence and uniqueness of a local mild solution of the considered controlled stochastic Navier–Stokes equations. We then discuss the control problem, where the related cost functional includes stopping times dependent on controls. Based on the continuity of the cost functional, we can apply existence and uniqueness results provided in [4], which enables us to show that a unique optimal control exists.  相似文献

The infinite dimensional version of the linear quadratic cost control problem is studied by Curtain and Pritchard [2], Gibson [5] by using Riccati integral equations, instead of differential equations. In the present paper the corresponding stochastic case over a finite horizon is considered. The stochastic perturbations are given by Hilbert valued square integrable martingales and it is shown that the deterministic optimal feedback control is also optimal in the stochastic case. Sufficient conditions are given for the convergence of approximate solutions of optimal control problems.  相似文献

We consider an average quadratic cost criteria for affine stochastic differential equations with almost-periodic coefficients. Under stabilizability and detectability conditions we show that the Riccati equation associated with the quadratic control problem has a unique almost-periodic solution. Sample average approximation (SAA) is one of the most popular methods for solving stochastic optimization and equilibrium problems. Research on SAA has been mostly focused on the case when sampling is independent and identically distributed (iid) with exceptions (Dai et al. (2000) [9], Homem-de-Mello (2008) [16]). In this paper we study SAA with general sampling (including iid sampling and non-iid sampling) for solving nonsmooth stochastic optimization problems, stochastic Nash equilibrium problems and stochastic generalized equations. To this end, we first derive the uniform exponential convergence of the sample average of a class of lower semicontinuous random functions and then apply it to a nonsmooth stochastic minimization problem. Exponential convergence of estimators of both optimal solutions and M-stationary points (characterized by Mordukhovich limiting subgradients (Mordukhovich (2006) [23], Rockafellar and Wets (1998) [32])) are established under mild conditions. We also use the unform convergence result to establish the exponential rate of convergence of statistical estimators of a stochastic Nash equilibrium problem and estimators of the solutions to a stochastic generalized equation problem.  相似文献

In this paper the problem of stochastic observability of alinear system affected by multiplicative white noise and Markovianjumping is investigated. The definition of stochastic observabilityadopted here extends to this framework the definition of thewell known uniform observability of a deterministic time-varyinglinear system. By several examples we show that the conceptof stochastic observability introduced in this paper is lessrestrictive than those introduced in other existing works andit does not always imply stochastic detectability as would beexpected. Finally we prove that this kind of stochastic observabilityallows us to derive a Barbasin–Krasovskii type resultfor exponential stability in mean square. This provides a sufficientcondition which guarantees that any semipositive solution ofcorresponding Riccati differential equation is a stabilizingsolution.  相似文献

We study the Riccati equation arising in a class of quadratic optimal control problems with infinite dimensional stochastic differential state equation and infinite horizon cost functional. We allow the coefficients, both in the state equation and in the cost, to be random. In such a context backward stochastic Riccati equations are backward stochastic differential equations in the whole positive real axis that involve quadratic non-linearities and take values in a non-Hilbertian space. We prove existence of a minimal non-negative solution and, under additional assumptions, its uniqueness. We show that such a solution allows to perform the synthesis of the optimal control and investigate its attractivity properties. Finally the case where the coefficients are stationary is addressed and an example concerning a controlled wave equation in random media is proposed.  相似文献

For the d–dimensional reflecting stochastic differential equations (1) with non-smooth boundary and unbounded domain the existence of a strong solution, (weak solution) is obtained under the conditions that the coefficients are less than linear growth and they are non-Lipschitz, (and the diffusion coefficient is non-degenerate, the drift coefficient is bounded and measurable only). Moreover, the Girsanov theorem and the martingale representation theorem with respect to system (1) are also derived. Then by using the Ekeland lemma and the martingale method the existence, necessary and sufficient conditions for an optimal control and an optimal control are obtained. In this paper we solve an infinite-horizon linear quadratic control problem for a class of differential equations with countably infinite Markov jumps and multiplicative noise. The global solvability of the associated differential Riccati-type equations is studied under detectability hypotheses. A nonstochastic, operatorial approach is used. Some properties of the linear stochastic systems, such as stability, stabilizability and detectability, are also discussed on the basis of a new solution representation result. A generalized Ito's formula which applies to infinite dimensional stochastic differential equations with countably infinite Markov jumps is also provided.  相似文献

We propose a new quadratic control problem for linear periodic systems which can be finite or infinite dimensional. We consider both deterministic and stochastic cases. It is a generalization of average cost criterion, which is usually considered for time-invariant systems. We give sufficient conditions for the existence of periodic solutions.Under stabilizability and detectability conditions we show that the optimal control is given by a periodic feedback which involves the periodic solution of a Riccati equation. The optimal closed-loop system has a unique periodic solution which is globally exponentially asymptotically stable. In the stochastic case we also consider the quadratic problem under partial observation. Under two sets of stabilizability and detectability conditions we obtain the separation principle. The filter equation is not periodic, but we show that it can be effectively replaced by a periodic filter. The theory is illustrated by simple examples.This work was done while this author was a visiting professor at the Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa.  相似文献

In this article, we consider a linear-quadratic optimal control problem (LQ problem) for a controlled linear stochastic differential equation driven by a multidimensional Browinan motion and a Poisson random martingale measure in the general case, where the coefficients are allowed to be predictable processes or random matrices. By the duality technique, the dual characterization of the optimal control is derived by the optimality system (so-called stochastic Hamilton system), which turns out to be a linear fully coupled forward-backward stochastic differential equation with jumps. Using a decoupling technique, the connection between the stochastic Hamilton system and the associated Riccati equation is established. As a result, the state feedback representation is obtained for the optimal control. As the coefficients for the LQ problem are random, here, the associated Riccati equation is a highly nonlinear backward stochastic differential equation (BSDE) with jumps, where the generator depends on the unknown variables K, L, and H in a quadratic way (see (5.9) herein). For the case where the generator is bounded and is linearly dependent on the unknown martingale terms L and H, the existence and uniqueness of the solution for the associated Riccati equation are established by Bellman's principle of quasi-linearization.  相似文献

In this article we discuss stability, stabilizability and detectability problems for Markov-jump discrete-time linear systems (MJDLSs) with multiplicative noise (MN) and countably infinite state space of the Markov chain. On the basis of a new solution representation formula, we give new deterministic characterizations of the stability and the detectability properties of MJDLSs with MN. These results are obtained using an operatorial approach and the properties of certain positive evolution operators defined on ordered Banach spaces of sequences of nuclear operators. Assuming detectability conditions and avoiding stochastic proofs, we prove that any global, nonnegative and bounded solution of the Riccati equation of control is stabilizing for the MJDLSs with MN and control. Finally, we apply our results to solve a linear quadratic optimal control problem. The theory is illustrated by an example.  相似文献

In this paper, a large class of time-varying Riccati equations arising in stochastic dynamic games is considered. The problem of the existence and uniqueness of some globally defined solution, namely the bounded and stabilizing solution, is investigated. As an application of the obtained existence results, we address in a second step the problem of infinite-horizon zero-sum two players linear quadratic (LQ) dynamic game for a stochastic discrete-time dynamical system subject to both random switching of its coefficients and multiplicative noise. We show that in the solution of such an optimal control problem, a crucial role is played by the unique bounded and stabilizing solution of the considered class of generalized Riccati equations.  相似文献

The existence of insensitizing controls for a forward stochastic heat equation is considered. To develop the duality, we obtain observability estimates for linear forward and backward coupled stochastic heat equations with general coefficients, by means of some global Carleman estimates. Furthermore, the constant in the observability inequality is estimated by an explicit function of the norm of the involved coefficients in the equation. As far as we know, our paper is the first one to address the problem of insensitizing controls for stochastic partial differential equations.  相似文献

We study Hamilton Jacobi Bellman equations in an infinite dimensional Hilbert space, with Lipschitz coefficients, where the Hamiltonian has superquadratic growth with respect to the derivative of the value function, and the final condition is not bounded. This allows to study stochastic optimal control problems for suitable controlled state equations with unbounded control processes. The results are applied to a controlled wave equation.  相似文献

In this paper we study ergodic backward stochastic differential equations (EBSDEs) dropping the strong dissipativity assumption needed in Fuhrman et al. (2009) [12]. In other words we do not need to require the uniform exponential decay of the difference of two solutions of the underlying forward equation, which, on the contrary, is assumed to be non-degenerate.We show the existence of solutions by the use of coupling estimates for a non-degenerate forward stochastic differential equation with bounded measurable nonlinearity. Moreover we prove the uniqueness of “Markovian” solutions by exploiting the recurrence of the same class of forward equations.Applications are then given for the optimal ergodic control of stochastic partial differential equations and to the associated ergodic Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equations.  相似文献

We consider general boundary value problem for partial differential operators with small parameter ε in their coefficients, so-called singular perturbation. Both the perturbed and reduced (with ε=0) problems are supposed to be elliptic and satisfy the Shapiro-Lopatinsky coerciveness condition (see [9], [13]). We point out necessary and sufficient conditions on the operator in the region and the boundary operators for the singulary perturbed boundary value problem to be coercive, i.e. for a characteristic two-sided a priori estimate to hold for its solutions uniformly with respect to ε.  相似文献
