An efficient method for palladium-catalyzed homocoupling reaction of terminal alkynes in the synthesis of symmetric diynes is presented. The results showed that both Pd(OAc)(2) and CuI played crucial roles in the reaction. In the presence of 2 mol % Pd(OAc)(2), 2 mol % CuI, 3 equiv of Dabco, and air, homocoupling of various terminal alkynes afforded the corresponding symmetrical diynes in moderate to excellent yields, whereas low yields were obtained without either Pd(OAc)(2) or CuI. Moreover, high TONs (turnover numbers; up to 940 000 for the reaction of phenylacetylene) for the homocoupling reaction were observed. Under similar reaction conditions, cross-coupling of 1-iodo-4-nitrobenzene with phenylacetylene was also carried out smoothly in quantitative yield. However, the presence of CuI disfavored the palladium-catalyzed Sonogashira cross-coupling reactions of the less active aryl iodides and bromides. In the presence of 0.01-2 mol % Pd(OAc)(2), a number of aryl iodides and bromides were coupled with terminal alkynes in good to excellent yields. It is noteworthy that this protocol employs mild, efficient, aerobic, copper-free, and ligand-free conditions. 相似文献

Cyclopalladated ferrocenylimines: efficient catalysts for homocoupling and Sonogashira reaction of terminal alkynes 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
A novel pathway for homocoupling of terminal alkynes has been described using cyclopalladated ferrocenylimine 1 or 2/CuI as catalyst in the air. This catalytic system could tolerate several functional groups. The palladacycle 2 in the presence of n-Bu4NBr as an additive could be applied to Sonogashira cross-coupling reaction of aryl iodides, aryl bromides, and some activated aryl chlorides with terminal alkynes under amine- and copper-free conditions, mostly to give moderate to excellent yields. 相似文献

Copper-catalyzed, solvent-free oxidative homocoupling of terminal alkynes can be performed to 1,3-diynes in good to excellent yields in the absence of any additives, using air as environmentally friendly oxidant and the occurrence of water as an exclusive byproduct in the whole process. It is shown that AcO− of copper (II) acetate catalyst may take the role of base and found that the homocoupling cannot occur using weakly basic copper salt catalysts such as CuBr, CuCl, or CuI. Thus, the bases are absolutely necessary in the process of the homocoupling of terminal alkynes. 相似文献

An efficient synthesis of 2-alkyl/aryl substituted benzo[b]furans/nitrobenzo[b]furans in water has been accomplished via Pd/C catalyzed reaction of o-iodophenols with terminal alkynes in the presence of PPh3, CuI and prolinol. This method can tolerate a variety of functional groups present in the alkynes as well as base labile nitro group in the o-iodophenols. The protocol does not require the use of a phase transfer catalyst or water-soluble phosphine ligands and is free from the use of any organic co-solvent. 相似文献

[reaction: see text] Both symmetric and unsymmetric 1,3-diynes were prepared from the palladium-catalyzed reaction of 1,1-dibromo-1-alkenes. The formation of symmetric 1,3-diynes 2 (homocoupling) was catalyzed by a weak ligand, tris(2-furyl)phosphine (TFP), and the addition of catalytic amount of CuI accelerated the reaction. The synthesis of unsymmetric 1,3-diynes 4 (the Sonogashira reaction) required a highly electron rich tris(4-methoxyphenyl)phosphine as the ligand, and CuI promotes the formation of byproduct 1,1-diynyl-1-alkenes 5. 相似文献

A simple, stereoselective and efficient method for the hydrothiolation of terminal alkynes with diaryl disulfides and diphenyl diselenide has been developed. In the presence of CuI, rongalite, and Cs2CO3, a variety of disulfides underwent the reaction of terminal alkynes stereoselectively to afford the corresponding (Z)-1-alkenyl sulfides in moderate to excellent yields. It is noteworthy that hydroselenations of 1,2-diphenyldiselane with alkynes are also conducted smoothly to afford (Z)-1-alkenyl selenides in good yields under the standard conditions. 相似文献

A simple, yet efficient system for PdCl2/CuI to catalyze the homo‐coupling reactions of various terminal alkynes has been developed using 3‐(diphenylphosphino)propanoic acid as ligand in the presence of oxygen. The alkynes, including aromatic, heteroaromatic and aliphatic alkynes, were transformed at room temperature into the corresponding 1,3‐diynes in moderate to excellent yields. The turnover number was up to 1.04 × 103. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

The Sonogashira-Hagihara coupling of terminal acetylenes with aryl iodides in the presence of a nickel catalyst and CuI was investigated. The reaction proceeds rapidly in aqueous dioxane in the presence of Ni(PPh3)2Cl2 with high yields of disubstituted tolanes being obtained. The reaction seems to be an inexpensive alternative to the palladium-catalyzed process. 相似文献

A method for the Glaser coupling reaction of alkynes by using a vibration ball mill has been developed. The procedure avoids the use of ligands and solvents during the reaction. Aryl- and alkyl-substituted terminal alkynes undergo homocoupling if coground with KF-Al(2)O(3) and CuI as a milling auxiliary and catalyst. Furthermore, an alternative protocol has been developed incorporating 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane (DABCO) as an additional base allowing the use of KF-Al(2)O(3) with a lower KF loading. Besides Cu salts, the homocoupling of phenylacetylene is also catalyzed by Ni or Co salts, as well as by PdCl(2). TMS-protected phenylacetylene could be directly converted into the homocoupling product after in situ deprotection of the alkyne by fluoride-initiated removal of the trimethylsilyl group. 相似文献

Herein, we report the microwave-assisted synthesis of 1,3-diynes from terminal acetylenes, catalyzed by CuI and tetramethylethylenediamine, in the presence of air as the oxidant, at 100 °C for only 10 min under solvent-free conditions. This efficient methodology allowed the homocoupling of several terminal alkynes in moderate to excellent yields. Moreover, the same protocol was also applicable for the synthesis of some unsymmetrical 1,3-diynes through the cross-coupling reaction. 相似文献

Alkyl aryl tellurides and a tellurol ester were used as coupling partners in Pd(0)-catalyzed Sonogashira reactions. Microwave-assisted reactions of alkyl aryl tellurides with alkynes in the presence of CuI and catalytic amounts of Pd(PPh3)4 produced alkynyl arenes. Similarly, a tellurol ester on reaction with alkynes afforded alkynyl phenyl ketones in the presence of CuI and a catalytic amount of Pd(PPh3)4 at room temperature. 相似文献

AbstractA new method of Sonogashira coupling reactions between diorganyl tellurides and terminal alkynes is reported. The coupling reactions are performed using Pd(dppf)Cl2 as a catalyst, CuI as a co-catalyst in the presence of K2CO3 in DMSO. The reactions are carried out at room temperature and completed within 2?h when phenyl acetylene is used as a terminal alkyne. For aliphatic terminal alkynes, such as 1-hexyne and 1-octyne, an elevated temperature and longer reaction time are needed for the completion of the reactions. This process results in good yields of Sonogashira coupling products which is applicable for diaryl, divinyl and dialkynyl tellurides but not applicable for dialkyl tellurides. 相似文献

A cobalt‐catalyzed reductive coupling of terminal alkynes, RC?CH, with activated alkenes, R′CH?CH2, in the presence of zinc and water to give functionalized trans‐disubstituted alkenes, RCH?CHCH2CH2R′, is described. A variety of aromatic terminal alkynes underwent reductive coupling with activated alkenes including enones, acrylates, acrylonitrile, and vinyl sulfones in the presence of a CoCl2/P(OMe)3/Zn catalyst system to afford 1,2‐trans‐disubstituted alkenes with high regio‐ and stereoselectivity. Similarly, aliphatic terminal alkynes also efficiently participated in the coupling reaction with acrylates, enones, and vinyl sulfone, in the presence of the CoCl2/P(OPh)3/Zn system providing a mixture of 1,2‐trans‐ and 1,1‐disubstituted functionalized terminal alkene products in high yields. The scope of the reaction was also extended by the coupling of 1,3‐enynes and acetylene gas with alkenes. Furthermore, a phosphine‐free cobalt‐catalyzed reductive coupling of terminal alkynes with enones, affording 1,2‐trans‐disubstituted alkenes as the major products in a high regioisomeric ratio, is demonstrated. In the reactions, less expensive and air‐stable cobalt complexes, a mild reducing agent (Zn) and a simple hydrogen source (water) were used. A possible reaction mechanism involving a cobaltacyclopentene as the key intermediate is proposed. 相似文献

3-Iodo-4-chalcogen-2H-benzopyran derivatives underwent a direct Sonogashira cross-coupling reaction with several terminal alkynes in the presence of a catalytic amount of Pd(PPh3)2Cl2 with CuI as a co-catalyst, using Et3N as base and solvent. This cross-coupling reaction proceeded cleanly under mild conditions and was performed with propargylic alcohols, propargylic ethers, as well as alkyl and aryl alkynes, furnishing the correspondent 3-alkynyl-4-chalcogen-2H-benzopyrans in good yields. 相似文献
