Cu(ClO4)2·6H2O was shown to react with 2,2′-[propane-1,3-diylbis(thio-2-phenylnemethylidene]-bis(3-pyridylamine) (I) or (5Z)-2-ethoxycarbonylmethyl-(2-pyridylmethylidene)-3,5-dihydro-4H-imidazol-4-one (II) in the presence of CH3CN with the reduction of copper(II) to copper(I) and the formation of the tetrahedral complex CuI(CH3CN)4ClO4 (III). In the course of the reaction the organic ligands I and II were oxidized to the corresponding sulfoxides.  相似文献

Reaction of O,O′-diisopropylphosphoric acid isothiocyanate (iPrO)2P(O)NCS with NH2(CH2)nNH2 (n = 3, 2) leads to the N-phosphorylated bis-thioureas [(iPrO)2C(S)NHP(O) NH]2Z (Z = —(CH2)3—, H2LI ; —(CH2)2—, H2LII ). Reaction of the potassium salt of H2LI with Co(II) and Zn(II) in aqueous EtOH leads to complexes of formula M2(L-O,S)2. The metal cation in both complexes is coordinated by two deprotonated ligands through the sulfur atoms of the thiocarbonyl groups and the oxygen atoms of the phosphoryl groups. Reaction of K2LI with Ni(II) and Pd(II) in the same conditions leads to M2(L-N,S)2 complexes. In both compounds, the metal center is found in a square-planar N2S2 environment formed by the C=S sulfur atoms and the P—N nitrogen atoms of two deprotonated ligands LI . Reaction of H2LII with KOH leads to a product of heterocyclization, in which one of the thiourea fragments is retained. Compounds obtained were investigated by IR, UV-Vis, 1H and 31P NMR spectroscopy, and microanalysis.  相似文献

A nickel(II) and a cobalt(III) complex of two different potentially tetradentate Schiff bases with different binding modes have been synthesised. The nickel(II) complex [NiL1] · CH3OH (1) was formed, on reacting the metal salt with a perfectly symmetrical N2O2 tetradentate Schiff base ligand H 2 L 1 , which is the 1:2 condensation product of 1,3-diamino propane and 2-hydroxyacetophenone. The cobalt(III) complex [Co(HL2)3] · (ClO4)3 · H2O (2) was synthesised using an asymmetric N2O2 tetradentate Schiff base ligand HL 2 on condensing N,N-dimethyl-1,3-diamino propane with o-vanillin in 1:1 mmol ratio. Although both Schiff bases are N2O2 functionalised, they showed variation in their coordinative property with nickel(II) and cobalt(III) ions. Both the complexes were characterised by IR spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry and their single crystal structures clearly indicate that 1 is a mononuclear species whereas 2 is a hydrogen-bonded dimer.  相似文献

The new complexes [(η3-Me2CCMeCH2)Pd{η2-Ph2P(S)CHP(S)Ph2] (1), [(η3-Me2CCMeCH2)Pd{η2-OC(CF3) CHCO(C4H3S)}] (2) and [(η3-CH2CMeCH2)Pd{η2-OC(CF3)CHCO(C4H3S)}] (3) have been synthesized by reacting [(η3-allyl)Pd(μ-Cl)]2 with Ph2P(S)CH2P(S)Ph2 and OC(CF3)CH2CO(C4H3S) in the presence of base. All have been characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, 1H-n.m.r and FAB-mass spectroscopy. Spectroscopic studies suggest that both ligands are bidentate, forming six-membered Pd-S-P-C-P-S and Pd-O-C-C-C-O palladacycles, the η3-allyl group completing the coordination sphere.  相似文献

In the compound [Ni(Bptc)2(Bimb)2(H2O)2] (I), where H4Bptc is 3,3′,4,4′-biphenyltetracarboxylic acid; Bimb is 4,4′-bis(1-imidazolyl)biphenyl), Ni(II) has a distorted octahedral coordination geometry, which was bonded with two N atoms from two Bimb ligands, two O atoms from two H2Bptc2− ligands and two water O atoms. The crystal structure of compound I is stabilized by the π-π-stacking and hydrogen bonds interaction.  相似文献

The reaction of di-μ-chlorobis(1,5-cyclooctadiene)dirhodium with (4S, 5S)-2,2-dimethyl-4,5-bis(methylaminomethyl)-1,3-dioxolane (1) gave the complex [Rh(cod)(1)]Cl (cod is 1,5-cyclooctadiene). The composition of the complexes CoCl2 · L2 and [Rh(cod)(L2)]X (L2 = 1, (4S,5S)-2,2-dimethyl-4,5-bis(aminomethyl)-1,3-dioxolane, and (4S, 5S)-2,2-dimethyl-4,5-bis(dimethylaminomethyl)-1,3-dioxolane; X = Cl, TfO) was studied using IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy. In the RhI cyclooctadienediamine complexes, the diene molecule forms a stronger bond with the metal atom than that in the cyclooctadienediphosphine analogs. Palladium(II) bromide complexes of thioamides having the general formulae [PdL2Br2] and [PdL4]Br2 where L = Thiourea (Tu), Methylthiourea (Metu), Dimethylthiourea (Dmtu), Tetramethylthiourea (Tmtu), Imidazolidine-2-thione (Imt), Mercaptopyridine (Mpy), Mercaptopyrimidine (Mpm) and Thionicotinamide (Tna) were prepared by reacting K2[PdCl4] with KBr and the corresponding thioamides. The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR and NMR spectroscopy, and one of them, [Pd(Tmtu)4]Br2 (1) by X-ray crystallography. The crystal structure of 1 shows a square-planar coordination environment around the Pd(II) atoms with the average cis and trans S–Pd–S bond angles of 90.0° and 180.0°, respectively. The synthesized complexes were screened for antibacterial effects, and the results showed that the complexes exhibit significant activities against both gram positive and gram negative bacteria.  相似文献

The reactions of the oxalate complexes [M3Q7(C2O4)3]2− (M = Mo or W; Q = S or Se) with MnII, CoII, NiII, and CuII aqua and ethylenediamine complexes in aqueous and aqueous ethanolic solutions were studied. The previously unknown heterometallic complexes [Mo3Se7(C2O4)3Ni(H2O)5]·3.5H2O (1) and K3{[Cu(en)2H2O]([Mo3S7(ox)3]2Br)}·5.5H2O (2) were synthesized. In these complexes, the oxalate clusters serve as monodentate ligands. The K(H2en)2[W3S7(C2O4)3]2Br·4H2O salt (3) was isolated from solutions containing CoII, NiII, or CuII aqua complexes and ethylenediamine. The reaction of [Mo3Se7(C2O4)3]2− with HBr produced the bromide complex [Mo3Se7Br6]2−, which was isolated as (Bu4N)2[Mo3Se7Br6] (4). Complexes 1–3 were characterized by X-ray diffraction, IR spectra, and elemental analysis. The formation of 4 was detected by electrospray mass spectrometry. Dedicated to Academician G. A. Abakumov on the occasion of his 70th birthday. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. Seriya Khimicheskaya, No. 9, pp. 1645–1649, September, 2007.  相似文献

Summary Iron(III) spin-crossover complexes [Fe(pap)2]ClO4. H2O (1), [Fe(pap)2]BF4. H2O (2), [Fe(pap)2]PF6. CH3OH (3), [Fe(CH3-pap)2]ClO4. H2O (4), [Fe0.5Al0.5(pap)2]ClO4. CH3OH (5) and [Fe0.25Al0.75(pap)2] ClO4. CH3OH (6)were prepared andthe spin transition behaviors of the complexes have been studied from magnetic susceptibility and M?ssbauer spectroscopy measurements. The magnetic properties of light-induced metastable state are measured using Hg-Xe light source. T1/2is temperature at which the populations of the high-spin and low-spin species are fifty-fifty. Metastable HS is produced by light irradiation at 5 K. T(LIESST) is the temperature at which the populations of the metastable high-spin species decrease to one half and cooperativity factor Cis defined as the parameter which presents the strength of cooperativity. The value of T(LIESST) decreases as T1/2increases and the plots of T(LIESST) vs. Cshow linear correlation. The effect of cooperativity of the complexes on the relaxations in solid was confirmed for the iron(III) complexes.  相似文献

A controlled substitution reaction of the chlorine atoms of 1,3,5-benzenetricarbonyl trichloride by the organoiron fragment (CpFe(CO)2S) has been achieved. The complexes CpFe(CO)2SCO-3,5-C6H3(COCl)2 (1), 1,3-[CpFe(CO)2SCO]2-5-C6H3COCl (2) and 1,3,5-[CpFe(CO)2SCO]3C6H3 (3) were prepared from the reaction of (μ-S x )[CpFe(CO)2]2 (x = 3, 4) with 1,3,5-C6H3(COCl)3 in a 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 metal to ligand molar ratio. The reactions of (1) with amines, thiols, and carboxylic acids produce the trifunctional mono-iron complexes CpFe(CO)2SCO-3,5-C6H3(COY)2 [Y = NR2 (4), SR (5), OCOR (4)]. The X-ray structure determination of (1) is reported.  相似文献

Four Schiff base ligands, salabza-H2 = N,N′-bis(salicylidene)-2-aminobenzylamine, were synthesized by condensation of one mole of 2-aminobenzylamine and two moles of salicylaldehyde and/or two moles of substituted salicylaldehyde (5-OMe, 5-Br, 5-NO2). All the four Schiff bases and their Mn(II), Co(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) complexes are characterized by UV-Vis, FT-IR, 1H NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and elemental analysis. The formation constants and the Gibbs free energies were measured spectrophotometrically for 1:1 complexes in methanol in constant ionic strength (I = 0.1 mol dm−3 NaClO4) and at 25°C. The data refinement was carried out with the SQUAD program. The trend of formation constants of H2L1 with M(II) follows the order: Mn(II) (3.97) < Zn(II) (4.30) < Co(II) (4.89) < Cu(II) (5.73)  相似文献

A new molybdophosphate (NH4)8{Mo2VO4[(Mo2VIO6)CH3C(O)(PO3)2]2}·14H2O (1), has been synthesized by the reaction of {Mo2VO4(H2O)6}2+ fragments with 1-hydroxyethylidenediphosphonate (hedp HOC(CH3)(PO3H2)2), and it is characterized by 31P NMR, IR, UV, element analysis, TG and single-crystal X-ray analysis. The structure analysis reveals that the polyoxoanion can be described as two {(Mo2VIO6)(CH3C(O)(PO3)2} units connected by a {Mo2VO4}2+ moiety. In the structure, the six Mo atoms are arranged into a new “W-shaped” structure, which represents a new kind of molybdophosphate.  相似文献

A hexadentate dibasic thioether N2O2S2 donor ligand (H 2 L) and its octahedral nickel(II) complex, [Ni(L)] have been synthesized and characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic techniques. The structures of both H 2 L and its nickel complex were confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The cyclic voltammogram of the complex shows a quasi-reversible Ni(II)/Ni(III) oxidation couple (E 1/2 = 0.88 V) along with a ligand-based reduction (E 1/2 = ?0.83 V). The electronic structures and electrochemical properties have been interpreted with the help of DFT calculations. The electronic transitions as calculated by TDDFT/CPCM method are used to assign the UV–Vis absorption bands.  相似文献

Starting from the paddlewheel complex copper(II)acetate, the green N-methylimidazole adduct of copper(II)acetate is formed and transformed into the monomeric and dimeric N-methylimidazole adducts of copper(II)acetate [Cu(C4H6N2)2(CH3COO)2]n·xH2O (n = 1,2; x = 0, 6). The formation of the blue dimer or the purple monomer depends on the solvent and the presence or absence of water.  相似文献

Abstract Two new square planar Cu(II) and Ni(II) complexes, [CuL1(NCO)] (1) and [NiL2(N3)] (2) have been synthesized with two different tridentate N2O donor Schiff base ligands L 1 H (1:1 condensation product of benzoylacetone and 2-diethylaminoethylamine) and L 2 H (1:1 condensation product of benzoylacetone and 2-dimethylaminoethylamine), respectively. Both the complexes 1 and 2 have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV-Vis spectroscopy, room temperature magnetic susceptibility measurement, electrochemical, thermal, and single crystal X-ray diffraction studies. Structural studies reveal that in both the complexes metal centers have square planar environment with N2O donor set of Schiff base ligands and terminal pseudohalide anions (isocyanate for 1 and azide for 2) at four coordination sites of square plane. An extended hydrogen-bonded two-dimensional fumarato-bridged complex [Co(μ-fumarato)(γ-methylpyridine)2(H2O)2] has been synthesized and its crystal structure determined by single crystal X-ray analysis. The X-ray analysis reveals that the cobalt atom is positioned in distorted octahedral surroundings. An extended twodimensional structure was formed through interchain hydrogen bonding. Magnetic measurements showed the presence of weak antiferromagnetic exchange interactions between the cobalt(II) ions within the chain, based on the spin Hamilitonian H = −2JSi Si+ 1 (J = − 0.22 cm−1).  相似文献

The structures and spectroscopic properties of mononuclear and binuclear mercury(II) and copper(II) complexes with four dithiocarbamate ligands R2NC(S)S? (R = CH3, C2H5, or iso-C3H7; R2 = (CH2)6) were studied by solid-state 13C and 15N CP/MAS NMR and EPR spectroscopy. Mercury(II) N,N-cyclohexamethylenedithiocarbamate [Hg2{S2CN(CH2)6}4] was obtained and characterized in detail by X-ray diffraction analysis at 299 K. The binuclear molecule of the complex is centrosymmetric; the central tricyclic fragment [Hg2S4C2] is in the chair conformation. In the 13C and 15N NMR spectra, the signals were assigned to the dithiocarbamate ligands with different structural functions: bidentate chelating and combined (both chelating and bridging) ones. The differences between the isotropic 15N chemical shifts for the dialkyldithiocarbamate ligands were interpreted in terms of combination of the mesomeric effect of the =NC(S)S-groups and the inductive effect of the alkyl substituents. According to the EPR data, copper(II) in magnetically diluted systems is mainly found in heterobinuclear molecules [CuHg(S2CNR2)4] and the geometry of the chromophores [CuS5] approximates to a tetragonal pyramid.  相似文献

The neutral dinuclear iron nitrosyl complex [Fe2(SC3H5N2)2(NO)4] (1) of the “g = 2.03” family with a ligand analogous to natural mercaptohistidine was synthesized by the metathesis reaction of the thiosulfate ligands in the [Fe2(S2O3)2(NO)4]2− anion with imidazolidine-2-thiolate ligands. The electrochemical determination of nitrogen oxide in solution showed that compound 1 has a lower NO-donor ability compared to the iron complexes with 1-methylimidazole-2-thiol and imidazole-2-thiol synthesized earlier. Study of the magnetic properties of polycrystals of 1 demonstrated that the effective magnetic moment at room temperature is ca. 2.45 μB and corresponds to a molecule containing a pair of the noninteracting spins S = 1/2. This is evidence that each iron coordination unit in complex 1 contains one unpaired electron, and the iron atom is in the low-spin state. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. The coordination of organochalcogen (especially Se and Te) substituted Schiff-bases L1H, L2H, L3H, and L4H toward Zn(II) and Hg(II) has been studied. Reactions of these ligands with ZnCl2 in 1?:?1 molar ratio gave binuclear complexes [{2-[PhX(CH2) n N?=?C(Ph)]-6-[PhCO]-4-MeC6H2O}2Zn2Cl2] (where X?=?Se, n?=?2 (1); X?=?Se, n?=?3 (2); X?=?Te, n?=?2 (3); and X?=?Te, n?=?3 (4)) with partial hydrolytic cleavage of proligands. In these complexes, two partially hydrolyzed ligand fragments coordinate tridentate (NOO) with two Zn's. Reaction of HgBr2 with L1H and L2H in 1?:?1 molar ratio gave monometallic complexes [C6H2(4-Me)(OH)[2,6-{C(Ph)?=?N(CH2) n Se(Ph)}2HgBr2]] (n?=?2 (5) or 3 (6)) and under similar conditions with L3H and L4H gave bimetallic complexes [C6H2(4-Me)(OH)[2,6-{C(Ph)?=?N(CH2) n Te(Ph)}2Hg2Br4]] (n?=?2?(7) or 3 (8)) in which the ligands coordinate with metal through selenium or tellurium, leaving the imino nitrogen and phenolic oxygen uncoordinated. The proligands L1H, L2H give 14- or 16-membered metallamacrocycles through Se–Hg–Se linkages and L3H, L4H give 16- or 18-membered metallamacrocycles through Te–Hg–Br–Hg–Te linkages. All the complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, ESIMS, FTIR, multinuclear NMR, UV-Vis, and conductance measurements. The redox properties of the complexes were investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV). Complexes 14 exhibited ligand-centered irreversible oxidation processes. Complexes 5 and 6 showed metal-centered quasi-reversible single electron transfer, whereas dinuclear complexes 7 and 8 displayed two quasi-reversible, one-electron transfer steps. A single-crystal X-ray structure determination of 1 showed that the coordination unit is centrosymmetric with Zn(II) in square-pyramidal coordination geometry and the two square pyramids sharing an edge. The Zn?···?Zn separation is 3.232?Å. The DNA-binding properties of 1 and 3 with calf thymus DNA were explored by a spectrophotometric method and CV.  相似文献
