Solid-state reactions of Cr, Mo, W, and Mn carbonyls with 3,6-di-terl-butyl-o-benzoquinone (Q) proceeding in molded powder-like mixtures (carbonyl-Q) treated with pulses of elastic waves were studied. The products of the reactions of Q with Cr(CO)6, Mo(CO)6, and W(CO)6 are paramagnetic serniquinone complexes of Cr, Mo, and W. Covalent bonding of polyhexamethyleneguanidine amides of maleic and o-phthalic acids to the aminated silica surface was performed. The complexing properties of the obtained composite adsorbents with respect to Zn(II), Cu(II), Fe(III), Co(II), Pb(II), Ni(II), Mn(II), Mo(VI), and Cr(VI) ions were studied. The Mo(VI) and Cr(VI) reduction was detected on the modified silica surface bearing polyhexamethyleneguanidine amide with o-phthalic acid. The formation of different-ligand complexes with transition metal cations adsorbed on the synthesized composite surface was studied.  相似文献

The thermal decompositions of the complexes K3[M(ox)3]3H2O(M=Al, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co; ox=C2O42–) were studied. Dehydration of the complexes occurs up to 200°C, this being a three-step process for M=Al, Cr, Mn and Co, and a two-step process for M=Fe. Decomposition of the dehydrated complexes proceeds in several steps. For M=Al, Cr and Fe, the decomposition takes place with the evolution of CO, whereas for M=Mn and Co the decomposition of the oxalate ligand yields solid C besides CO. The temperature of CO liberation decreases in the series Cr<Al<Co<Mn<Fe. For M=transition metal, this trend can be explained by the fact that the strength of the C—C bond in the oxalate ligand decreases in the series Cr<Co<Mn<Fe.This revised version was published online in November 2005 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

On the thermal decomposition of hexacyanocobaltate(III); ligand exchange during thermolysis The thermal decomposition of hexacyanocobaltates(III) yields, as products of successive intramolecular redox reactions, first dicyan and CoII(CoIII)-complexes, then CoII[CoII]-complexes and simple CoII(CN)2, respectively, and finally CoICN and elemental Co, respectively. All the compounds of the [CoIII(NH3)6]3+ cation with the cyanometallate anions of Co, Fe, Cr, Mn, Ni, Mo yield the same DTA curve as [Co(NH3)6][Co(CN)6] does; in the case of Ni and Cr, which are capable of forming ammine complexes, simultaneous mutual ligand exchange occurs.  相似文献

The molecular parameters have been calculated to confirm the geometry of 3-methyl-5-oxo-N,1-diphenyl-4,5-dihydro-1-H-pyrazole-4-carbothioamide, HL. The compound is introduced as a new chelating agent for complexation with Cr(III), Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) ions. The isolated chelates were characterized by partial elemental analyses, magnetic moments, spectra (IR, UV–vis, ESR; 1H NMR) and thermal studies. The protonation constant of HL (5.04) and the stepwise stability constants of its Co(II), Cu(II), Cr(III) and Fe(III) complexes were calculated. The ligand coordinates as a monobasic bidentate through hydroxo and thiol groups in all complexes except Cr(III) which acts as a monobasic monodentate through the enolized carbonyl oxygen. Cr(III) and Fe(III) complexes measured normal magnetic moments; Cu(II) and Co(II) measured subnormal while Ni(II) complex is diamagnetic. The data confirm a high spin and low spin octahedral structures for the Fe(III) and Co(II) complexes. The ESR spectrum of the Cu(II) complex support the binuclear structure. The molecular parameters have also been calculated for the Cu(II) and Fe(III) complexes. The thermal decomposition stages of the complexes confirm the MS to be the residual part. Also, the thermodynamic and kinetic parameters were calculated for some decomposition steps.  相似文献

A procedure has been developed for the annulation of a 2-(thi)oxo-1,3-dithiole-4,5-dithiolate fragment to 3,6-di-tert-butyl-o-benzoquinone. The resulting o-quinones have a significant asymmetry with respect to the plane of the chelate dioxolene site, which can be used in the targeted design of the coordination environment of metal ions in complexes. Isomeric manganese adducts containing dioxolene, carbonyl, and phosphine ligands, which differ in the location of the asymmetric o-quinone ligand, have been characterized by EPR spectroscopy.

Oxidation of amalgamated magnesium metal with 3,6-di-tert-butyl-o-benzoquinone (1) in different aprotic organic solvents afforded magnesium catecholate and bis-o-semiquinolate complexes. The catecholate derivatives of magnesium CatMgL2 (Cat is the 3,6-di-tert-butyl-o-benzoquinone dianion, L = THF or Py) were synthesized in high yields in pyridine and tetrahydrofuran, respectively. The reactions in diethyl ether or dimethoxyethane produced hexacoordinated metal bis-o-semiquinolates SQ2MgLn (SQ is the 3,6-di-tert-butyl-o-benzoquinone radical anion, L = Et2O, n = 2; L = DME, n = 1). The reaction with the use of toluene as the solvent gave a magnesium bis-o-semiquinolate complex containing the coordinated unreduced o-quinone molecule. The molecular structures of the [CatMgPy2]2 and SQ2Mg·DME complexes were established by X-ray diffraction. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. The Cr (III), Mn (II), Fe (III), Co (II), Ni (II), Cu (II) and Cd (II) complexes were prepared by reaction of its metal chlorides with new azo-dye ligand (H2L). The ligand derived from 4,4′-oxydianiline and 2-amino-4-chlorophenol was synthesized in a 1:2 molar ratio. The structure of the ligand and its metal complexes was investigated using different tools such as elemental analysis (C, H, N and M), molar conductivity, IR, UV–vis, 1H-NMR, mass spectrometry and thermogravimetric and differential thermogravimetric studies. The data showed that the ligand acted as a N,N,O,O-binegative tetradentate ligand. All metal complexes had a octahedral structure as depicted by spectral and elemental analyses. The conductivity data showed the electrolytic nature of the Cr (III) and Fe (III) complexes while the other complexes were nonelectrolytes. Thermal analysis studies showed the decomposition of the complexes in four to five steps with the weight loss of hydrated water in the first decomposition step followed by the coordinated water and ligand molecules. Biological activity was tested for the prepared compounds against four bacterial species (Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa) and against two fungal species (Aspergillus fumigatus and Candida albicans). Also, all complexes were screened for anticancer activities against a breast cancer (MCF-7) cell line. The [Co(L)(H2O)2] complex showed the lowest IC50 value. Molecular docking is a key tool in computer drug design. Therefore, investigation of protein receptors and ligand interaction plays a vital role in the design of structurally based drugs. As a result, docking studies were investigated for H2L ligand, [Mn(L)(H2O)2] and [Ni(L)(H2O)2] complexes with 5KBC, 3V7B and 4G9M receptors.  相似文献

A new Schiff base was prepared as the condensation product of the reaction of 2‐quinoline carboxaldehyde and ambroxol drug. The Schiff base ligand thus obtained (HL; trans‐4‐[(2‐(2‐quinolinoimino)‐3,5‐dibromobenzyl)amino]cyclohexanol) was further employed as a tridentate ligand for the synthesis of new complexes through reaction with Cr(III), Mn(II), Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) metal ions. The synthesized HL and its metal complexes were characterized using various physicochemical techniques including elemental analysis, Fourier transform infrared and UV–visible spectroscopies, conductimetric and magnetic susceptibility measurements, mass spectrometry and thermal analyses. 1H NMR data indicated that complex formation was through the amino group rather than the aliphatic hydroxyl group. Thermal analysis gave an idea about the decomposition pattern of HL and its complexes. Also, it revealed the number of water molecules in the inner and outer spheres of the complexes. An octahedral geometry for all the complexes has been suggested. HL and its complexes were screened for their antimicrobial activity against various species of bacteria and fungi using the disc diffusion method. The Cr(III) complex had the highest antimicrobial activity.  相似文献

本文利用定性价键理论、半经验分子轨道法和分子轨道碎片法,讨论了通式为M_3S_4L_9M′X~(n+)(M=Cr,Mo,W;M′=Fe,Co,Ni,Cu;n=0,4,5)的异核过渡金属簇合物Cr_3S_4Cp_3FeOOCCMe_3(1),Cr_3S_4Cp_3CoCO(2),Mo_3S_4(NH_3)_9FeOH_2~(4+)(3)和Mo_3S_4(OH_2)_9NiOH_2~(4+)(4)的电子结构,成键性质,以及活性元件(碎片)L_9M_3S_4~(n+)和M′X组装的合理性。指出了由于碎片组装成类立方烷后,电子从M′原子转移到M原子,使得过渡金属原子M的氧化态低于不完整类立方烷中的M原子。此外,本文还根据价键理论和分子轨道法的集居数分析,给出簇合物骨架的相对稳定性顺序是Mo_3S_4FC~(4+)>Cr_3S_4Fe~(4+)>Cr_3S_4Co~(4+)>Mo_3S_4Ni~(4+)。  相似文献

The complexes of alloxan with Cr(III), Mn(II), Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) Cd(II), Hg(II), Ti(IV) and Zr(II) have been isolated and characterized on the basis of elemental analysis, molar conductivity, spectral studies (mid infrared, 1H-NMR and UV/vis spectra), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The thermal decomposition of the metal complexes was studied by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential thermal analysis (DTA). The kinetic thermodynamic parameters, E*, ΔH*, ΔS* and ΔG*, were calculated using Coats and Redfern and Horowitz and Metzger equations. The ligand and its complexes have been studied for possible biological activity including antibacterial and antifungal activity.  相似文献

Two aromatic polyaminocarboxylate ligands, ethylenediaminedi(o-hydroxyphenylacetic acid) (EDDHA) and N,N′-bis(hydroxybenzyl)ethylenediamine-N,N′-diacetic acid (HBED), were applied for the separation of transition and heavy metal ions by the ion-exchange variant of electrokinetic chromatography. EDDHA structure contains two chiral carbon centers. It makes it impossible to use the commercially available ligand. All the studied metal ions showed two peaks, which correspond to meso and rac forms of the ligand. The separation of metal–HBED chelates was performed using poly(diallyldimethylammonium) polycations in mixed acetate–hydroxide form. Simultaneous separation of nine single- and nine double-charged HBED chelates, including In(III), Ga(III), Co(II)–(III) and Mn(II)–(III) pairs demonstrated the efficiency of 40 000–400 000 theoretical plates. The separation of Co(III), Fe(III) complexes with different arrangements of donor groups and oxidation of Co(II), Mn(II), Fe(II) ions in reaction with HBED have been discussed.  相似文献

A novel Schiff base ligand (H2L) was prepared through condensation of 2,6‐diaminopyridine and o‐benzoylbenzoic acid in a 1:2 ratio. This Schiff base ligand was characterized using elemental and spectroscopic analyses. A new series of Cr(III), Mn(II), Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) metal complexes of H2L were prepared and characterized using elemental analysis, spectroscopy (1H NMR, mass, UV–visible, Fourier transform infrared, electron spin resonance), magnetic susceptibility, molar conductivity, X‐ray powder diffraction and thermal analysis. The complexes are found to have trigonal bipyramidal geometry except Cr(III), Mn(II) and Fe(III) complexes which have octahedral geometry based on magnetic moment and solid reflectance measurements. The infrared spectral studies reveal that H2L behaves as a neutral bidentate ligand and coordinates to the metal ions via the two azomethine nitrogens. 1H NMR spectra confirm the non‐involvement of the carboxylic COOH proton in complex formation. The presence of water molecules in all reported complexes is supported by thermogravimetric studies. Kinetic and thermodynamic parameters were determined using Coats–Redfern and Horowitz–Metzger equations. The synthesized ligand and its complexes were screened for antimicrobial activities against two Gram‐positive bacteria (Bacillus subtilis and Staphylococcus aureus), two Gram‐negative bacteria (Escherichia coli and Neisseria gonorrhoeae) and one fungus (Candida albicans). A series of CO‐releasing molecules M(CO)5 L (M = Mo, W and Cr), ( 1 , 2 , 3 , L = glycine methyl ester; 4 , 5 , 6 , N‐methylimidazole; 7 , 8 , 9 , 2‐aminopyridine; 10 , 11 , 12 , 3‐aminopyridine; 13 , 14 , 15 , 4‐aminopyridine), were synthesized. All complexes have been characterized by NMR, IR and electrospray ionization mass spectroscopy; the octahedral structures of 14 and 15 were also established by X‐ray crystallography. Furthermore, all complexes were evaluated for toxicity, pharmacokinetics and metabolic processes. Cytotoxic effects on the proliferation of fibroblast cell line were assayed by MTT. Among the complexes, Mo complex 1 showed the lowest cytotoxicity (IC50 = 597 µmol l?1) and W complex 2 showed a remarkable toxic effect, with IC50 = 52 µmol l?1. With the same ligand, the toxic effects of the complexes increase in the order of metal element W < Cr < Mo. For the same central metal element, the complexes containing imidazole showed lower toxic effects than those containing amino acid ester or aminopyridine. In accordance with the results from cytotoxicity, the complexes also showed corresponding toxic effects in animal models. The biodistributions of the complexes were established by inductively coupled plasma–atomic emission spectroscopy, measuring metal in tissues and organs. The results show that the complexes were gradually absorbed and unevenly distributed in vivo. The complexes containing imidazole entered tissues and organs faster than those containing amino acid ester. The spectra suggest cis-chelate bidentate coordination of the ligand in {M(CO)4[Ph2P(S)P(S)Ph2]} and cis-bridging bidentate coordination of the ligand between two metals in (M = Cr, Mo and W).  相似文献

Five new complexes, [M(CO)5(apmsh)] [M = Cr; (1), Mo; (2), W; (3)], [Re(CO)4Br(apmsh)] (4) and [Mn(CO)3(apmsh)] (5) have been synthesized by the photochemical reaction of metal carbonyls [M(CO)6] (M = Cr, Mo and W), [Re(CO)5Br], and [Mn(CO)3Cp] with 2-hydroxyacetophenone methanesulfonylhydrazone (apmsh). The complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry, f.t.-i.r. and 1H spectroscopy. Spectroscopic studies show that apmsh behaves as a monodentate ligand coordinating via the imine N donor atom in [M(CO)5(apmsh)] (1–4) and as a tridentate ligand in (5).  相似文献

The reaction of the nitrosyl carbonyl complexes [Fe(NO)2(CO)2] and [Co(NO)(CO)3] with the decacarbonyldimetalates [M2(CO)10]2– (M = Cr and Mo) in THF as the solvent at room temperature was investigated. Thereby a substitution of one nitrosyl ligand towards carbon monoxide was observed in each case. Both reactions afforded the known metalate complexes [Fe(NO)(CO)3] and [Co(CO)4], respectively. These species were isolated as their corresponding PPN salts [PPN+ = bis(triphenylphosphane)iminium cation] in nearly quantitative yields. The products were unambiguously identified by their IR spectroscopic and elemental analytic data as well as by their characteristic colors and melting points.  相似文献

Reactions of 3,6-di(tert-butyl)-o-benzoquinone with primary amines occur by the nucleophilic 1,4-addition mechanism and lead to the corresponding 2-hydroxy-p-quinonimines, which exist in solutions in equilibrium with tautomeric 4-amino-o-quinones. The thermodynamic parameters of this prototropic isomerism were determined by NMR spectroscopy. In the case of a secondary amine (piperidine), a derivative of 4-amino-o-quinone was obtained; the corresponding o-semiquinone complexes were studied in solution by ESR spectroscopy.
