Some Hardy-type integral inequalities in general measure spaces, where the corresponding Hardy operator is replaced by a more general Volterra type integral operator with kernel , are considered. The equivalence of such inequalities on the cones of non-negative respective non-increasing functions are established and applied.

We present a weighted norm inequality involving convolutions of arbitrary analytic functions and certain confluent hypergeometric functions. This result implies a family of weighted norm inequalities both for entire functions of exponential type and for (generalized) hypergeometric series. Motivated by an integral inequality conjectured by W. Walter, we prove some general integral inequalities on finite intervals of the real line. In addition to supplying new proofs of Walter's conjecture, the general inequalities furnish a reverse Jensen inequality under appropriate conditions and provide generalizations of Chebyshev's integral inequality.  相似文献

In this paper, we establish new nonlinear integral inequalities of Gronwall-Bellman-Pachpatte type. These inequalities generalize some former famous inequalities and can be used as handy tools to study the qualitative as well as the quantitative properties of solutions of some nonlinear ordinary differential and integral equations. The purpose of this paper is to extend certain results which proved by Pachpatte in [Inequalities for Differential and Integral Equations, Academic Press, New York and London, 1998]. Some applications are also given to illustrate the usefulness of our results.  相似文献

We provide some inequalities and integral inequalities connected to the Jensen-Hadamard inequalities for convex functions. In particular, we give some refinements to these inequalities. Some natural applications and further extensions are given.

Gap functions play a crucial role in transforming a variational inequality problem into an optimization problem. Then, methods solving an optimization problem can be exploited for finding a solution of a variational inequality problem. It is known that the so-called prevariational inequality is closely related to some generalized convex functions, such as linear fractional functions. In this paper, gap functions for several kinds of prevariational inequalities are investigated. More specifically, prevariational inequalities, extended prevariational inequalities, and extended weak vector prevariational inequalities are considered. Furthermore, a class of gap functions for inequality constrained prevariational inequalities is investigated via a nonlinear Lagrangian.  相似文献

A general weighted integral inequality for two continuous functions on an interval [a,b] is presented. The equality conditions are given. This result implies the new inequalities for the incomplete beta and gamma functions as well as the related estimates for the confluent hypergeometric function, error function, and Dawson's integral. Also it implies various weighted integro-differential inequalities, those of the Opial type included, and some inequalities which involve the Erdélyi–Kober and Riemann–Liouville fractional integrals.  相似文献

In this article, two fundamental integral identities including the second-order derivatives of a given function via Riemann–Liouville fractional integrals are established. With the help of these two fractional-type integral identities, all kinds of Hermite–Hadamard-type inequalities involving left-sided and right-sided Riemann–Liouville fractional integrals for m-convex and (s,?m)-convex functions, respectively. In this paper, we consider some classes of merit functions for general variational inequalities. Using these functions, we obtain error bounds for the solution of general variational inequalities under some mild conditions. Since the general variational inequalities include variational inequalities, quasivariational inequalities and complementarity problems as special cases, results proved in this paper hold for these problems. In this respect, results obtained in this paper represent a refinement of previously known results for classical variational inequalities.  相似文献
