New Minor Cyclopeptides from Arenaria oreophila （Caryophyllaceae）

New minor cyclic peptides, named arenariphilin C 1 and arenariphilin D 2, were isolated from the whole plants of Arenaria oreophila (Caryophyllaceae). Their structures were determined as cyclo(Pro1-Pro2-Leu1-Leu2-Phe-Ser-Gly-Thr) and cyclo (Ser-Cys) on the basis of spectroscopic data, especially by two-dimension NMR (2D NMR) technologies.

The complete NMR signal assignment of title compounds were carried out by extensive use of 1D and 2D NMR techniques (1H, 13C, GCOSY, GHSQC and GHMBC).     

Complete assignments of 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopic data for two new triterpenoid saponins from Ilex hainanensis

Two novel unsaturated E-ring pentacyclic triterpenoid saponins, ilexhainanoside A and ilexhainanoside B, were isolated from the leaves of Ilex hainanensis. Their chemical structures were determined by MS, NMR spectroscopy and chemical analysis. Complete assignments of the 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopic data were achieved by 1D and 2D NMR experiments (HSQC, HMBC, ROESY and 1H-1H COSY).     

NMR spectral assignments of three aspidofractinine alkaloids, kopsine, fruticosine and fruticosamine

1D and 2D NMR techniques were used to assign fully the spectra of three aspidofractinine alkaloids, kopsine (1), fruticosamine (2) and fruticosine (3), isolated from a cultivated specimen of the plant Kopsia fruticosa (Apocynaceae). The assignment of the NMR data for 1, 2 and 3 will help in the future assignments of related alkaloids.     

Complete 1H- and 13C NMR assignments of saponins from roots of Gypsophila trichotoma Wend

The assignments of 1H and 13C NMR spectra of two new aminoacyl triterpene saponins from roots of Gypsophila trichotoma Wend. are reported. In addition to 1D NMR methods, 2D NMR techniques (COSY, TOCSY, ROESY, HSQC, HMBC, and HSQC-TOCSY) were used for the assignments. The structures were completed by analysis of HR-ESI-MS and ESI-MS(n).     

Complete assignments of (1)H and (13)C NMR spectroscopic data for two new triterpenoid saponins from Ilex pernyi

Ilexpernoside A and ilexpernoside B, two new pentacyclic C(4)-nortriterpenoid saponins, were isolated from the leaves of Ilex pernyi Franch. Their chemical structures were determined by MS, NMR spectroscopy and chemical analysis. Complete assignments of the (1)H and (13)C NMR spectroscopic data were achieved by 1D and 2D NMR experiments (HSQC, HMBC, (1)H-(1)H COSY and NOESY).     

Elucidation of the structures of 3-alkylthio-, 3-benzylthio-, 2-arylthio- and 2-heteroarylthio-N1-(1,3-dimethylbutyl)-N4-phenyl-1,4-phenylenediamines by one- and two-dimensional NMR spectroscopy

Nucleophilic addition of alkyl- and benzylthiols to benzoquinone diimine (1) gave the corresponding 3-alkylthio- or 3-benzylthio-1,4-phenylenediamines (2-5). However, addition of aryl- or heteroarylthiols to 1 formed 2-arylthio- or 2-heteroarylthio-1,4-phenylenediamines (6-14). The structures of 2-14, obtained in 55-91% yields, were confirmed in CDCl3 or DMSO-d6 solution using 1D (NOE difference, coupled 13C NMR spectra, APT and DEPT) and 2D NMR techniques [DQCOSY, NOESY, HETCOR and heteronuclear multiple bond coherence (HMBC)] that resulted in unambiguous proton and carbon NMR resonance assignments. The substituent-induced 13C NMR chemical shift differences were calculated in 2-14 relative to carbon atoms in the model compound N1-(1,3-dimethylbutyl)-N4-phenyl-1,4-phenylenediamine (DMBPPD) (15) (a reduced form of benzoquinone diimine).     

Complete assignments of 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopic data for three new stigmastane glycosides from Vernonia cumingiana

Three new steroidal saponins, Vernoniosides S1 ( 1 ), Vernoniosides S2 ( 2 ) and Vernoniosides S3 ( 3 ) were isolated from the stem of Vernonia cumingian. Their chemical structures were elucidated on the basis of MS, NMR spectroscopic and chemical analysis. Structural determination of two new triterpenoids from Potentilla discolor Bunge by NMR techniques

Two new pentacyclic triterpenoids, 3alpha, 30-dihydroxylup-20(29)-en-27-oic acid (1) and (20S)-3alpha, 29-dihydroxylupan-27-oic acid (2) were isolated from the whole herbs of Potentilla discolor Bunge. The structures of these two new compounds were elucidated, and complete assignments of the (1)H and (13)C NMR spectroscopic data were achieved by 1D and 2D NMR experiments (HSQC, HMBC, (1)H-(1)HCOSY and ROESY).

两个具有特殊骨架的C_(20)-二萜生物碱北乌灵（kusnezoline）和峨翠灵（ omeieline）分别分自中国特产毛茛科植物北草乌（Aconitum hkusnezoffii Paritz）、彭州岩乌头（A. racemulosum var. pengzhouense）和峨眉翠雀花（ Delphinium omeiense W. T. Wang）。应用2D NMR技术(~1H-~1H COSY, HMQC, HMBC, NOESY)全面归属了这两个生物碱的~1H和~(13)C信号的化学位移。     

A new coumarin from Perezia hebeclada

Methanol extracts from Perezia hebeclada roots yielded the new 8‐β‐D ‐glucopyranosyloxy‐4‐methoxy‐5‐methylcoumarin ( 1 ) together with the known 4‐β‐D ‐glucopyranosyloxy‐5‐methylcoumarin ( 2 ). Their structures were determined and verified, respectively, by MS and NMR studies, including 1D and 2D experiments. Two ¹³C NMR signals of the sugar residue of 2 were reassigned. 从直缘乌头（Aconitum transsectum Diels.）根中分离得到4个新的乌头碱型 C_(19)-二萜生物碱。由光谱法（IR, ~1H NMR, ~(13)C NMR, 2D-NMR, MS）确定其 结构为:8-O-乙基滇乌碱（8-O-ethylyunaconitine） (1)、去氮乙基查斯曼宁（N- deethyl chasmanine）(2)、直缘乌碱丁（transconitine D）(3)和直缘乌碱戊（ transconitine E）(4)。     

1H and 13C NMR assignments for two anthraquinones and two xanthones from the mangrove fungus (ZSUH-36)

We report the unambiguous assignments of the (1)H and (13)C NMR spectra of one new natural product, namely, 6,8-di-O-methyl versiconol (1) together with one known anthraquinone aversin (2) and two xanthones 5-methoxysterigmatocystin (3) and sterigmatocystin (4). These compounds were all isolated from the mangrove endophytic fungus ZSUH-36 from the South China Sea. 1D and 2D NMR experiments including COSY, HMQC and HMBC were used to elucidate the structures. Variations in the (1)H NMR spectrum of 6,8-di-O-methyl versiconol (1) were also observed in the temperature range 25-75 degrees C. In addition, the plausible biogenetic path from 1 to 2 is discussed.     

NMR assignments of unusual flavonoids from the kino of Eucalyptus citriodora

Two unusual flavonoids, 3,5,4',5'-tetrahydroxy-7-methoxy-6-[1-(p-hydroxy-phenyl)ethyl]flavanone (1) and 3,5,7,4',5'-pentahydroxy-6-[1-(p-hydroxy-phenyl)ethyl] flavanone (2), were isolated from the kino of Eucalyptus citriodora. Structural elucidation of the new compounds were established on the basis of spectral data, particularly by the use of 1D NMR and several 2D shift-correlated NMR pulse sequences ((1)H, (1)H-COSY, HMQC, HMBC).     

Two Eremophilane-type Sesquiterpenoids from the Rhizomes of Ligularia veitchiana（Hemsl.） Greenm

Two eremophilane-type sesquiterpenoids from the rhizomes of Ligularia veitchiana(Hemsl.) Greenm were isolated and determined as 10α,11-endoperoxide-1(2)-en-7α-hydroeremophilane(1) and 1(10)-en-2-oxo-7α-isopropanol-eremophilane(2).Compound 1 was a new compound and compound 2 was a new natural product.The structures of the two compounds were established by means of spectral methods including 1H NMR,13C NMR,2D NMR and MS.     

Complete assignments of 1H and 13C NMR data for three new arylnaphthalene lignan from Justicia procumbens

Three new arylnaphthalene lignans, named neojusticin C (1), procumbenoside C (2) and procumbenoside D (3), have been isolated from the whole plant of Justicia procumbens, together with three known ones, justicidinoside B (4), justicidinoside C (5), and diphyllin-1-O-beta-D-apiofuranoside (6). The complete assignments of 1H and 13C NMR data for three new lignans were first obtained by means of 2D NMR techniques, including HSQC and HMBC.     

Complete assignments of 1H and 13C NMR data of three new dihydrophenanthrofurans from Pleione yunnanensis

Three new dihydrophenanthrofurans, pleionesins A–C (1–3), together with two known dihydrophenanthrenes (4–5) were isolated from the tubers of Pleione yunnanensis (Rolfe). The complete ¹H and ¹³C NMR spectra assignments of these compounds were carried out using 1D and 2D NMR experiments (¹H, ¹³C, selective 1D NOE, HSQC and HMBC).
