The structures of 2,7′-(ethylene)-bis-8-hydroxyquinoline and its derivatives were optimized at the ground states using ab initio HF and B3LYP methods. At the same time, the molecular structures of the first singlet excited state for 2,7′-(ethylene)-bis-8-hydroxyquinoline and its derivatives were optimized by CIS/6-31G(d). The absorption and emission spectra based on the above structures were obtained by the time-dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT) by the B3LYP method with the 6-31G(d) basis set. The calculated results of luminescence originate from the electronic transition from the hydroxphenol ring of 8-hydroxyquinoline A to the pyridine ring of 8-hydroxyquinoline B. Their luminescence wave bands can be tuned by different substituents on the ligand of 8-hydroxyquinoline.  相似文献

The geometrical configurations of the products in reaction of sulfur and ethylene are optimized by use of UHF method and 3-21G basis sets and the potential energy surfaces for resulting thiirane are calculated using STO-3G + CI(100×100) . The possibilities of obtaining the thiirane on the surfaces of low-lying excited states are discussed. The energies of low-lying excited states of thiirane and the corresponding configurations are predicted by using 4-31G basis sets + CI(100×100) finally.  相似文献

The condensation of benzaldehyde, urea, and ethyl acetoacetate according to the procedure described by Biginelli was investigated at the B3LYP/6-31G(d), B3LYP/6-31 +G(d,p), and B3LYP/6-311+G(3df,2p)//B3LYP/6-31+G(d,p) levels to explore the reaction mechanism. According to the mechanism proposed by Kappe, structures of five intermediates were optimized and four transition states were found. The calculation results proved that the mechanism proposed by Kappe is right.  相似文献

N-Methyl-2-(4-N,N-diphenylaminophenyl)fulleropyrrolidine and N-methyl-2-(4-di-p-tolylaminophenyl)fulleropyrrolidine were synthesized via the 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reactions under microwave irradiation. The molecular structures were identified and characterized by MS, UV-Vis, FT-IR, ^1H NMR and fluorescence spectra. Photoinduced intramolecular electron transfer process from C60 moiety to triphenylamine moiety have been studied by nanosecond laser flash photolysis. The optimized structure and the distribution of the frontier molecular orbitals for C60-TPA were obtained by using DFT method at B3LYP/6-31G(d) level. The results indicated that the intramolecular photoinduced electron transfer could occur in these compounds, which were in excellent agreement with the nanosecond transient absorption spectra observed experimentally in polar solvent. The electronic spectrum of the compound C60-TPA was studied by ZINDO method on the basis of the optimized geometrics, which was essentially consistent with experimental values.  相似文献

The structures, ionization potentials (IP), electron affinities (EA) and HOMO-LUMO gaps (AEH.L) of the terfluorene oligomers were studied by the density functional theory with B3LYP functional. The characters of the front orbitals were analyzed on the basis of the ground structure. The vertical excitation energies Ev and the maximal absorption wavelengths λabs of a series of ter(9,9-diarylfluorene) compounds were studied employing the time dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT) and ZINDO. The calculated maximal absorption wavelengths by both methods are in good agreement with the experimental data. The results show that the differences between terfluorene hh and ter(9,9-diarylfluorene) derivatives are slight in the structures and the electronic states except that there is the spiroconjugation in the latter. The spiroconjugation made these derivatives far from optimization in terms of stability. Excited structure of hh was calculated to be compared with the ground structure, which indicats that it has strong coplanar tendency of aromatic ring with the neighbour in the excited state. Consequently, they are good blue emitting materials with promising thermal stability.  相似文献

Anion can be identified by pyromellitic imide-azacyclophane which is one of the host compounds.This article investigated the interaction between the host and organic pollution compounds.The host and other eight compounds were optimized by DFT(density functional theory) B3LYP/6-31G level and the energy of compounds was corrected using Boys-Bemardi method.On the basis of B3LYP/6-31G optimized geometries,the RDG function and sign(λ2(r))ρ(r) function values of space points were calculated,and color RDG isosurface map was drawn.3He chemical shift was calculated by the B3LYP/6-31G method.The results showed that the eight organic pollution molecules with the host one shaped stable configurations by hydrogen bonds,respectively.The stabilization energy of complexes 4 and 7 showed repulsion(steric effects) of cyclophane cage observably affecting the stability of the complexes.The location,intensity and the type of interaction in complex 1 were analyzed through color-filled RDG isosurface map.Aromaticity calculations showed that the weak interaction reduced the transverse induction ring current in the host rings,and deteriorated the aromaticity of compounds.  相似文献

A novel neonicotinoid analogue(C13H19N5O5,3a)had been synthesized,the structure was characterized by elemental analysis,IR and 1H NMR spectra,and the S-(+)-(E)-configuration was confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.The crystal belongs to monoclinic,space group P21 with a = 8.7076(17),b = 8.3211(17),c = 10.642(2),β = 92.370(3)o,V = 770.4(3)3,Z = 2,Dc = 1.402 g/cm3,μ = 0.110 mm-1,Mr = 325.33,F(000)= 344,S = 1.027,R = 0.0543 and wR = 0.1229 for 3601 unique reflections with 2919 observed ones(I > 2σ(I)).Compound 3a is stabilized by intramolecular hydrogen bonds and intermolecular force.In addition,the structure of compound 3a was optimized by the B3LYP/6-31G(d,p).DFT/B3LYP optimizations were performed based on X-ray geometries applying 6-31G(d,p)basis set.The optimized structure of compound 3a by the B3LYP/6-31G(d,p)method is more bent than in the crystal.IR spectrum of the solid compound is consistent with the X-ray structure.The HOMO-LUMO gap in 3a(5.3 eV)indicates high kinetic stabilities of compound 3a.The preliminary bioassay test showed that 3a exhibited good activities against Nilaparvata legen,Pseudaletia separate Walker and Aphis medicagini at 500 mg/L.  相似文献

The isomeric structures of(E)-1-[4-(2-hydroxy-5-methoxybenzylideneamino)-phenyl] ethanone(I) and(E)-1-[4-(2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzylideneamino) phenyl]ethanone(Ⅱ) ,both C16H15NO3,have been determined using X-ray diffraction techniques and characterized by IR,and their molecular structures have also been optimized at the B3LYP/6-31G(d,p) level using density functional theory(DFT) . The energetic behaviors of the title compounds in solvent media have been examined using B3LYP method with the 6-31G(d,p) basis set by applying the polarizable continuum model(PCM) . The total energies of the title compounds decrease with the increasing polarity of the solvent. In addition,DFT calculations of the title compounds' molecular electrostatic potentials(MEP) were performed at the B3LYP/6-31G(d,p) level of theory. X-ray study shows that the title compounds both have strong intramolecular O-H…N hydrogen bonds. The molecules of Ⅰ are linked into a one-dimensional framework structure by C-H…π interactions,while in Ⅱ,intermolecular π···π interactions result in the formation of infinite chains running along the [010].  相似文献

The optimized geometry and vibrational frequencies of 2-(2,3-dihydro-1,5-dimethyl-3-oxo-2-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-ylimino)-2-(4-nitro-phenyl) acetonitrile (DOPNA) were obtained by ab initio DFT/B3LYP level with complete relaxation in the potential energy surface using 6-31G and 6-311G basis sets. The Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectrum of DOPNA has been recorded in the region 4000-400 cm(-1). The harmonic vibrational frequencies were calculated and the scaled values have been compared with experimental FT-IR spectrum. The calculated frequencies are in comparable agreement with the experimental frequencies. The calculated energy span between the HOMO and the LUMO of DOPNA is 2.94 and 2.87eV by B3LYP/6-31G and B3LYP/6-311G, respectively.  相似文献

运用密度泛函DFT B3LYP/6-31G(d)方法对CN和CF3吸电子基团取代的PPV类衍生物的三聚体进行了几何构型优化,并采用含时密度泛函TD-DFT、B3LYP/6-31G(d)方法计算了其相应化合物的紫外吸收光谱.通过对CN和CF3取代的PPV类衍生物的分子几何结构、前线分子轨道能级、电子云分布规律的分析,从理论上解释了共轭CN与非共轭CF3吸电子取代基对其光谱性质影响的差异:前者使相应PPV类衍生物的吸收光谱发生红移,后者则发生蓝移.计算结果还表明用TD-DFT方法计算该体系的紫外吸收光谱值与实验数据吻合得很好;另外引入CN和CF3基团之后,使其相应的PPV衍生物的LUMO能级降低,电子亲合势增加,都是很好的电子传输材料.  相似文献

In this work, we investigate oligopyrroles and derivatives, which serve as models for corresponding polymers. In order to discuss these materials, we carried out DFT calculations and used DFT methods to calculate ground state electronic structures. We are particularly interested in exploring the potential of several substituent groups as electron donors with numerous ties to electronic materials by exploring and comparing the energies of HOMO, LUMO, Gap energies, and structural properties. Results are discussed in comparison with the properties of the doped oligomers. The theoretical ground-state geometry and electronic structure of the studied molecules were obtained by the DFT method at B3LYP level with 6-31G(d) basis set. The opto-electronic properties of these materials were determined by ZINDO/s and TD//B3LYP/6-31G(d) calculations performed on the B3LYP/6-31(d) optimized geometries. The Schiff base compound, 4‐[(2‐hydroxy‐3‐methylbenzylidene)amino]‐1,5‐dimethyl‐2‐phenyl‐1,2‐dihydro‐3H‐pyrazol‐3‐one, has been synthesized and characterized by IR, UV–vis, and X‐ray single‐crystal determination. Molecular geometry from X‐ray experiment of the title compound in the ground state have been compared using the density functional method (B3LYP) with 6‐31G(d,p) basis set. Calculated results show that density functional theory (DFT) can well reproduce the structure of the title compound. The energetic behavior of the title compound in solvent media has been examined using B3LYP method with the 6‐31G(d,p) basis set by applying the Onsager and the polarizable continuum model (PCM). The results obtained with these methods reveal that the PCM method provided more stable structure than Onsager's method. By using TD‐DFT method, electronic absorption spectra of the title compound have been predicted and a good agreement with the TD‐DFT method and the experimental one is determined. The predicted nonlinear optical properties of the title compound are much greater than ones of urea. In addition, DFT calculations of the title compound, molecular electrostatic potential and NBO analysis were performed at B3LYP/6‐31G(d,p) level of theory. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The molecular geometry and vibrational frequencies of N-phenyl-N'-(2-thienylmethylene)hydrazine (C11H10N2S) have been calculated using Hartree-Fock and density functional method (B3LYP) with 6-31G(d) basis set. The optimized geometric bond lengths and angles obtained using HF and DFT (B3LYP) are in agreement with the experimental data. B3LYP method seems to be appropriate than HF method for the calculation of vibrational frequencies and geometrical parameters of the (C11H10N2S) compound.  相似文献

采用量子化学中密度泛函理论(DFT)的B3LYP方法分别用6-31G*和6-311+G*基组对苯胺、对氯苯胺和对甲苯胺及其氰乙基衍生物的几何构型进行全优化, 探讨了氨基上氰乙基的引入对分子电荷转移、前线轨道能量和电子光谱等性质的影响规律. 在此基础上采用含时密度泛函方法(TD-DFT)计算了分子第一激发态的电子跃迁能, 得到最大吸收波长λmax. 计算结果表明, 氨基上氰乙基的引入, 对前线分子轨道组成影响虽然小, 但使得最大吸收波长红移, 与实验值λmax有较好的一致性, 发现该类物质主要吸收光谱源于分子内的π→π*的电子跃迁.  相似文献

The B3LYP/6-31+G(d) molecular geometry optimized structures of 17 five-membered heterocycles were employed together with the gauge including atomic orbitals (GIAO) density functional theory (DFT) method at the B3LYP/6-31+G(d,p), B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p) and B3LYP/6-311+G(2d,p) levels of theory for the calculation of proton and carbon chemicals shifts and coupling constants. The method of geometry optimization for pyrrole (1), N-methylpyrrole (2) and thiophene (7) using the larger 6-311++G(d,p) basis sets at the B3LYP/6-31+G(d,p), B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p), B3LYP/6-31+G(2d,p) and B3LYP/cc-pVTZ levels of theory gave little difference between calculated and experimental values of coupling constants. In general, the (1)H and 13C chemical shifts for all compounds are in good agreement with theoretical calculations using the smaller 6-31 basis set. The values of nJHH(n=3, 4, 5) and rmnJ(CH)(n=1, 2, 3, 4) were predicted well using the larger 6-31+G(d,p) and 6-311++G(d,p) basis sets and at the B3LYP/6-31+G(d,p), B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p), B3LYP/6-31+G(2d,2p) levels of theory. The computed atomic charges [Mülliken; Natural Bond Orbital Analysis (NBO); Merz-Kollman (MK); CHELP and CHELPG] for the B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p) geometry optimized structures of 1-17 were used to explore correlations with the experimental proton and carbon chemical shifts.  相似文献

The present work is a theoretical investigation on supramolecular complexes of a fullerene crown ether (A and B isomers) with a derivative of π-extended tetrathiafulvalene (T). The geometry and the electronic structure of seven different conformers of the complex of dibenzo-18-crown-6 ether of fullero-N-methylpyrrolidine with a N-benzyl-N-(4-{[9,10-bis(1,3-dithiol-2-ylidene)-9,10-dihydroanthracen-2-yl]ethynyl}benzyl)ammonium cation were determined. We calculated the complexation energies and the absorption spectra, i.e., the lowest 50 excited electronic states of the complexes have been determined at the ground state optimum geometry. All calculations were carried out employing the density functional theory (DFT) and the time-dependent DFT, using the B3LYP, CAM-B3LYP, ωB97X-D, and M06-2X functionals in conjunction with the 6-31G(d,p) basis set. Various types of van der Waals interactions are observed in the complexes. Conformer complexation energies (CE) range from 2.54 to 2.14 eV in the gas phase and from 1.75 to 1.34 eV in CHCl(3) solvent at the ωB97X-D/6-31G(d,p)//M06-2X/6-31G(d,p) level of theory. There are three major features at about 390, 330, and 290 nm in the calculated absorption spectra of all the conformers. The major peaks correspond to T→T, T→T/F (electron density in both T and the fullerene F of B) and to T→F transitions, depending on the particular conformer. Other charge transfer T→F transitions are observed close to the T→T transition, indicating the possibility of photoinduced electron transfer in all these complexes.  相似文献
