Let M be a CR manifold. The main results of this paper are the following:
When M is real analytic, a semi-global Hartogs extension phenomenon occurs for real analytic CR functions if and only if M is nowhere strictly pseudoconvex and .
When M is a standard manifold, the Hartogs–Bochner extension phenomenon occurs for non-CR-confined domains if and only if M is nowhere strictly pseudoconvex and dimCRM2.
If M is a smooth submanifold of foliated by complex curves, a semi-global Hartogs–Bochner extension phenomenon occurs for smooth non-CR-confined domains if and only if dimCRM2.
If M is a real analytic nowhere strictly pseudoconvex manifold and if Ω is a sufficiently small domain in M, a hyperfunction which is real analytic in a neighborhood of bΩ and CR in a neighborhood of is in fact real analytic on Ω.

In this paper, we initiate the study of Ehrenfeucht–Fraïssé games for some standard finite structures. Examples of such standard structures are equivalence relations, trees, unary relation structures, Boolean algebras, and some of their natural expansions. The paper concerns the following question that we call the Ehrenfeucht–Fraïssé problem. Given nω as a parameter, and two relational structures and from one of the classes of structures mentioned above, how efficient is it to decide if Duplicator wins the n-round EF game ? We provide algorithms for solving the Ehrenfeucht–Fraïssé problem for the mentioned classes of structures. The running times of all the algorithms are bounded by constants. We obtain the values of these constants as functions of n.  相似文献

Central bialgebras in a braided category are algebras in the center of the category of coalgebras in . On these bialgebras another product can be defined, which plays the role of the opposite product. Hence, coquasitriangular structures on central bialgebras can be defined. A new approach to computing the Fréchet subdifferential and the limiting subdifferential of integral functionals is proposed. Thanks to this way, we obtain formulae for computing the Fréchet and limiting subdifferentials of the integral functional , uL1(Ω,E). Here is a measured space with an atomless σ-finite complete positive measure, E is a separable Banach space, and . Under some assumptions, it turns out that these subdifferentials coincide with the Fenchel subdifferential of F.  相似文献

The following reaction-diffusion system in spatially non-homogeneous almost-periodic media is considered in a bounded domain : (1)tu=Auf(u)+g, u|∂Ω=0. Here u=(u1,…,uk) is an unknown vector-valued function, f is a given nonlinear interaction function and the second order elliptic operator A has the following structure: where aijl(y) are given almost-periodic functions. We prove that, under natural assumptions on the nonlinear term f(u), the longtime behavior of solutions of (1) can be described in terms of the global attractor of the associated dynamical system and that the attractors  , 0<<01, converge to the attractor of the homogenized problem (1) as →0. Moreover, in the particular case of periodic media, we give explicit estimates for the distance between the non-homogenized and the homogenized attractors in terms of the parameter .  相似文献

Let M be a smooth, compact, orientable, weakly pseudoconvex manifold of dimension 3, embedded in (N2), of codimension one or more, and endowed with the induced CR structure. Assuming that the tangential Cauchy-Riemann operator has closed range in L2(M) in order to rule out the Rossi example, we push regularity up to show has closed range in Hs(M) for all s>0. We then use the Szegö projection to show there is a smooth solution for the problem given smooth data. The results are obtained via microlocalization by piecing together estimates for functions and (0,1) forms that hold on different microlocal regions.  相似文献

We develop a Hungarian construction for the partial sum process of independent non-identically distributed random variables. The process is indexed by functions f from a class , but the supremum over is taken outside the probability. This form is a prerequisite for the Komlós–Major–Tusnády inequality in the space of bounded functionals , but contrary to the latter it essentially preserves the classical n−1/2logn approximation rate over large functional classes such as the Hölder ball of smoothness 1/2. This specific form of a strong approximation is useful for proving asymptotic equivalence of statistical experiments.  相似文献

We prove a stronger version of Hartley's conjecture for , namely, if a Laurent polynomial identity (LPI, for short) f = 0 is satisfied in ( ), then satisfies a polynomial identity (PI). Turán's problem is to determine the greatest possible value of the integral for positive definite functions f(x), , supported in a given convex centrally symmetric body , . We consider the problem for positive definite functions of the form f(x)=(x1), , with supported in [0,π], extending results of our first paper from two to arbitrary dimensions.Our two papers were motivated by investigations of Professor Y. Xu and the 2nd named author on, what they called, ℓ-1 summability of the inverse Fourier integral on . Their investigations gave rise to a pair of transformations (hd,md) on which they studied using special functions, in particular spherical Bessel functions.To study the d-dimensional Turán problem, we had to extend relevant results of B. & X., and we did so using again Bessel functions. We associate a positive real number to any vector space K-category over a field K. Generalizing a result of Nazarova and Roiter, we show that a schurian vector space K-category is representation-finite if and only if is finite and . Such vector space categories are quasilinear, i.e. its indecomposables are simple modules over their endomorphism ring. Recently, Nazarova and Roiter introduced the concept of -faithful poset in order to clarify the structure of critical posets. Their conjecture on the precise form of -faithful posets was established by Zeldich. We generalize these results and characterize -faithful quasilinear vector space K-categories in terms of a class of hereditary algebras Hρ(D) parametrized by a skew-field D and a rational number ρ1.  相似文献

Given an algebraic theory whose category of models is semi-abelian, we study the category of topological models of and generalize to it most classical results on topological groups.
