The reactions + +3He 3p and +3H 3n are considered with both two- and three-nucleon pion-absorption taken into account. The pion-absorption with all nucleons of the nucleus involved and the interference of the two absorption mechanisms are shown to be of the same importance as a pure two-particle absorption in nuclei. K2Fe3(OH)2(SO4)3(H2O)2 was prepared by hydrothermal synthesis. The crystal structure is the isomorphous phase of K2Co3(OH)2(SO4)3(H2O)2. M?ssbauer spectra of K2Fe3(OH)2(SO4)3(H2O)2 were measured at low temperatures between room temperature and 14?K, and the hyperfine interactions were analyzed. The Neel temperature is 39?K. Two paramagnetic Fe2?+? species were observed in the M?ssbauer spectrum at room temperature, and M?ssbauer spectra measured below 38?K were decomposed into four magnetic subspectra. From the temperature dependence, it is found that the local electron density at each site is largely deviating at low temperatures, which may induce the giant coercivity.  相似文献

Precise patterning by laser ablation requires sufficient absorption. For weak absorbers like fused silica indirect methods using external absorbers have been developed. A novel approach using a solid SiO absorber coating is described. Irradiation by an ArF excimer laser (wavelength 193 nm) is leading to ablation of the coating and, at sufficiently high fluence, of the fused silica substrate. The remaining coating in the unexposed areas is removed afterwards by large area irradiation. The fluence threshold for substrate ablation using a 28 nm thick absorber layer is about 1.1 J/cm2. Single pulse ablation rates of up to 800 nm and a surface roughness of R a<5 nm are obtained. High resolution grating patterns with 400 nm period and a modulation depth of 80 nm are possible. The process can be described as controlled plasma mediated ablation.  相似文献

It will be shown that the peaks in the (Λp) and (Λd) invariant mass distributions, observed in recent FINUDA experiments and claimed to be signals of deeply bound kaonic states, are naturally explained in terms of K ? absorption by two or three nucleons leaving the rest of the original nuclei as spectator. For reactions on heavy nuclei, the subsequent interactions of the particles produced in the primary absorption process with the residual nucleus play an important role. Our analyses leads to the conclusion that at present there is no experimental evidence of deeply bound K ? state in nuclei. Although the FINUDA experiments have been done for reasons which are not supported a posteriori, some new physics can be extracted from the data.  相似文献

Within the framework of a simple envelope function and effective mass approximation, by including the spatial variation of effective mass and nonparabolicity effects, we have investigated the energy spectrum and intersubband optical absorption in a quantum well with additional thin and higher (δ -like) cladding barriers on either side of the well. The dependence of the absorption coefficient on the structure parameters, doping level, photon energy and temperature has been investigated. The absorption coefficient and spectrum strongly depend on the cladding barrier tunnel transparency. The peak absorption wavelength is shifted towards the high energies as the barrier transparency decreases. The temperature shift of the absorption peak is very small. The results are compared with experiments of Schneider et al. taking into account the broadening induced by well width fluctuations.  相似文献

The simultaneous influence of periodical magnetic field reversals at the nucleus between the values ±h 0 and of magnetostrictive vibrations on the shape of the Mössbauer absorption spectrum is analyzed. The effect of a constant external magnetic field is taken into account by assuming unequal durations of the states ?h 0 and +h 0. It is shown that such asymmetric reversals of the magnetic field lead to splitting of the absorption lines into Zeeman patterns corresponding to the time-averaged magnetic field h 0 R, where R is the asymmetry parameter of the reversals. The first absorption coefficient spectra determined in the region of the fundamental band edge of metal-organic vapour phase grown CdxHg1−xTe (CMT) with x between 0.2 and 0.3 are presented. Analysis of these spectra shows that the optical band edge correlates with αe, between 1000–2000 cm−1. Using these spectra the form of the absorbance curve of uniform CMT can be generated, which when compared with experimental data can be used to obtain a qualitative assessment of the depth uniformity of epitaxial layers.  相似文献

When femtosecond laser pulses interfere with chirped femtosecond laser pulses in As2S3 fiber, a chirped fiber grating is formed. An analytical expression is given to describe the chirped grating, and its Bragg reflectivity is calculated. Because of the high photosensitive effect of As2S3 material, the chirped fiber grating has a wide Bragg reflective spectrum and high reflectivity by choosing proper parameters. This indicates that the chirped fiber grating can be used as a stretcher in the femtosecond chirped pulse amplification (CPA) system.  相似文献

The iron-porphyrin aggregates were studied by optical absorption and fluorescence method, infrared spectroscopy, X-ray absorption and Mössbauer spectroscopy. The aggregation of porphyrin molecules strengthens the Fe-ligands bonds and accelerates the spin-spin relaxations. A significant speeding-up of relaxation was observed with lowering the temperature down to 25 K. The comparison of the EXAFS (Extended X-ray Absorption Fine Structure) and Mössbauer spectroscopy results enabled some separation of the individual Fe vibration from its collective movement with ligands.  相似文献

The contribution of multiphoton absorption to open-aperture Z-scan measurements is analysed by coordinate transformation. The approximate closed-form solution is obtained, which is suitable for application in higher-optical power regime. Pump pulse transmission and time-delayed probe pulse transmission measurements through liquid toluene were performed with linear and circular polarized second harmonic pulses of a mode-locked ruby laser system. Two-photon absorption and two-photon induced absorption are observed. The induced absorption anisotropy is investigated. A theory of two-photon absorption in isotropic media is presented. The two-photon absorption cross-section components, the effective excited-state absorption cross-section, the absorption anisotropy relaxation time and the excited singlet-state relaxation time are determined.  相似文献

To seek for a possible way to determine ∑-nuclear interactions even in the case of a shallow nuclear potential and/or a strong ∑-Λ conversion, theoretical discussions are given on the formation of Coulomb-assisted hybrid bound states of ∑ in nuclei, where the short-range strongly absorptive potential coexists with the long-range Coulomb potential. This paper reports that the Ge nanocrystals embedded in SiO2 matrix are grown on Si(100) and quartz-glass substrates, and the formation mechanism is systematically studied by using fluorescence x-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS). It is found that the formation of Ge nanocrystals strongly depends on the properties of substrate materials. In the as-prepared samples with Ge molar content of 60%, Ge atoms exist in amorphous Ge (about 36%) and GeO2 (about 24%) phases. At the annealing temperature of 1073 K, on the quartz-glass substrate Ge nanocrystals are generated from crystallization of amorphous Ge, rather than from the direct decomposition of GeO2 in the as-deposited sample. However, on the Si(100) substrate, the Ge nanocrystals are generated partly from crystallization of amorphous Ge, and partly from GeO2 phases through the permutation reaction with Si substrate. Quantitative analysis reveals that about 10% of GeO2 in the as-prepared sample are permuted with Si wafer to form Ge nanocrystals.  相似文献

The Rayleigh–Benard Convection (RBC) were studied theoretically in the homeotropic nematic liquid crystal (NLC) cell due to the absorption of a normally incident Gaussian light beam from upper side of the cell. It was shown that a convection of hydrodynamic motion in the NLC can be induced and eventually the molecular director coupling with hydrodynamics reorients the director. An external magnetic field parallel to the director decreases the director reorientation and the radial flow velocity, while the velocity in the z direction is unaffected. The results were found to be in a range that can easily be checked experimentally.  相似文献

Abstract

The transition to the β tin structure has been observed by X-ray absorption spectroscopy for GaSb at 7.9 GPa. In the low pressure phase, the bulk modulus has been determined. In the high pressure phase, the results for the Ga-Sb and Ga-Ga distances are in good agreement with previous x-ray diffraction data. The pseudo Debye-Waller factor associated to the Ga-Sb distance is abnormally high, indicating that disorder exists for this bond.  相似文献

A thermodynamic analysis has been carried out to study the performance of double absorption heat transformers (DAHT) assuming water/lithium bromide as the working fluid. The performance of single (SSHT) and two stage heat transformers (TSHT) analyzed in Part I, was compared with the performance of double absorption heat transformers (DAHT) under the same operating conditions. The results showed that single stage heat transformers (SSHT) were the simplest and most efficient. Greater absorber temperatures were reached with two stage heat transformers (TSHT). However, these systems were in general less efficient than the others and technically the most complex. Double absorption heat transformers (DAHT) were technically simpler than two stage heat transformers (TSHT) and may reach absorber temperature as high as these systems.  相似文献

The Mössbauer spectra of the powder sample of sodium nitroprusside have been measured in external magnetic fields at 4.2 K. The dependence of the absorption on thickness of the absorber has been studied. The fits including the polarization of the absorber by means of the applied field and the calculations of the convolution integral without polarization effects have been compared by a least squares value x2. The asymmetry parameter of the EFG is (4.2 K)=0.20±0.05.  相似文献
