Preparation, Crystal Structure, and Magnetism of [(CH3)2NH2][NdCl4(H2O)2] The complex water containing chloride [(CH3)2NH2][NdCl4(H2O)2] was prepared for the first time and the crystal structure was determined by X‐ray methods from single crystals. The compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Cmca (Z = 8) with a = 1793.5(2) pm, b = 936.6(2) pm and c = 1232.8(2) pm. The anionic part of the structure is built up by chains of edge connected [NdCl4/2Cl2(H2O)2] trigondodecahedra. In order to study the interactions between the neodymium cation and the ligands magnetic measurements were carried out. The magnetic data were interpreted by ligand field calculations applying the angular overlap model.  相似文献

Alkylammonium Hexachlorometallates. I. Crystallization Properties and Crystal Structure of Diethylenetriammonium Hexachlororhodate, [H3N(CH2)2NH2(CH2)2NH3][RhCl6] The reaction of RhCl3 · 3H2O with diethylenetriamine in 12 m hydrochloric acid yielded diethylenetriammonium hexachlororhodate [H3N(CH2)2NH2(CH2)2NH3][RhCl6] ( 1 ). Dark red single crystals of the compound were grown under hydrothermal conditions at a temperature interval of 180°C to 125°C in closed glass ampoules over several weeks (space group C2/c, a = 30.956(4) Å, b = 7.371(2) Å, c = 12.9736(15) Å, β = 113.787(11)°, Z = 8, 2385 reflections with I > 0, wR2(obs.) = 0.0279, R1(I > 2σ(I)) = 0.0271). The crystal structure is determined by a complex framework of hydrogen bonds between the hexachlororhodate anions and the diethylenetriammonium cations.  相似文献

Oxidative Addition of N‐chlorotriphenylphosphoraneimine onto Phosphorus(III) Chloride and Antimony(III) Chloride. Crystal Structures of (Cl3PNPPh3)2[PCl6][ClHCl], [SbCl4(HNPPh3)2][SbCl6], and [Sb(NPPh3)4][SbCl6] Phosphorus(III) chloride reacts with N‐chlorotriphenylphosphoraneimine, ClNPPh3, in CH2Cl2 solution strongly exothermically via oxidative addition to give (Cl3PNPPh3)2[PCl6][ClHCl] ( 1 ). As a by‐product, Ph3PNP(O)Cl2 can be obtained, which is formed from PCl3 and ClNPPh3 in the presence of POCl3. In contrast to these results, antimony(III) chloride reacts with ClNPPh3 in CH2Cl2 solution to give a mixture of the phosphoraneimine complex [SbCl4(HNPPh3)2][SbCl6] ( 2 ) and the phosphoraneiminato complex [Sb(NPPh3)4][SbCl6] ( 3 ). The complexes 1 ‐ 3 were characterized by IR spectroscopy and by single crystal X‐ray determinations. 1 : Space group C2/c, Z = 4, lattice dimensions at 193 K: a = 3282.0(2), b = 798.7(1), c = 1926.1(2) pm, β = 107.96(1)°, R1 = 0.0302. 1 contains [Cl3PNPPh3]+ cations with PN bond lengths of 152.5(2) and 160.9(2) pm, and a PNP bond angle of 140.5(1)°. 2 ·CH2Cl2: Space group , Z = 2, lattice dimensions at 193 K: a = 1031.2(1), b = 1448.3(2), c = 1811,4(2) pm, α = 70.96(1)°, β = 87.67(1)°, γ = 75.37(1)°, R1 = 0.0713. 2 ·CH2Cl2 contains cations [SbCl4(HNPPh3)2]+ with octahedrally coordinated Sb atom and the HNPPh3 ligand molecules being in trans‐position. IV Dodecahedral [Mo(CN)8] Coordination of the Cyano‐Bridged Cobalt and Nickel Ammin Complexes MII2(NH3)8[Mo(CN)8] · 1.5 H2O (MII = Co, Ni) and Ni2(NH3)9[Mo(CN)8] · 2 H2O At single crystals of the hydrated cyano complexes Co2(NH3)8[Mo(CN)8] · 1.5 H2O (a = 910.0(4), b = 1671(2), c = 1501(1) pm, β = 93.76(6)°) and Ni2(NH3)8[Mo(CN)8] · 1.5 H2O (a = 899.9(9), b = 1654.7(4), c = 1488(1) pm, β = 94.01°), isostructurally crystallizing in space group P21/c, Z = 4, and of trigonal Ni2(NH3)9[Mo(CN)8] · 2 H2O (a = 955.1(1), c = 2326.7(7) pm, P31, Z = 3), X‐ray structure determinations were performed at 168 resp. 153 K. The [Mo(CN)8]4– groups of the three compounds, prepared at about 275 K and easily decomposing, show but slightly distorted dodecahedral coordination (mean distances Mo–C: 216.3, 215.4 and 216.1 pm). Within the monoclinic complexes the anions twodimensionally form cyano bridges to the ammin cations [M(NH3)4]2+ and are connected with the resulting [MN6] octahedra (Co–N: 215.1 pm, Ni–N: 209.8 pm) into strongly puckered layers. The trigonal complex exhibits a chain structure, as one [Ni(NH3)5]2+ cation is only bound as terminal octahedron (Ni–N: 212.0 pm). Details and the influence of hydrogen bridges are discussed.  相似文献

A new microporous iron (III) phosphate, [H3N(CH2)4NH3]3[Fe8(HPO4)12(PO4)2(H2O)6], has been prepared using low temperature hydrothermal methods and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, EDAX, infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and bond valence sums. The title compound crystallizes as light pink hexagonal-shaped tabs in the centrosymmetric hexagonal space group 3¯ (No.147) with a = b = 13.495(2) Å, c = 9.396(2) Å, V = 1481.9(4) Å3 and Z = 4 with R/Rw = 0.044/0.048. The compound exhibits a complicated three-dimensional microporous structure with quaternary ammonium ions acting as a template for the framework. It is similar to previously reported [HN(CH2CH2)3NH]3[Fe8(HPO4)12(PO4)2(H2O)6].  相似文献

The structure of two trinuclear iron acetates [Fe3O(CH3COO)6(H2O)3]Cl· 6H2O (I) and [Fe3O(CH3COO)6(H2O)3][FeCl4] · 2CH3COOH (II) was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. Crystals I and II are ionic and belong to the orthorhombic system with parameters a = 13.704(3), b = 23.332(5), c = 9.167(2) Å, R = 0.0355, space goup P21212 for I and a = 10.145(4), b = 15.323(6), c = 22.999(8) Å, R = 0.0752, space group Pbc21 for II. The complex cation [Fe3O(CH3COO)6(H2O)3]+ has a μ3-O-bridged structure typical for trinuclear iron (III) compounds. As shown by Mössbauer spectroscopy, the iron(III) ions are in the high-spin state. In trinuclear cations, antiferromagnetic exchange interaction takes place between the Fe(III) ions with the exchange parameter J = -26.69 cm?1 for II (Heisenberg-Dirac-Van Vleck model for D3h, symmetry).  相似文献

[Yb(NH3)8][Yb(Pyr)6]: Electride Induced Synthesis and Crystallization from Liquid Ammonia Single crystalline yellow [Yb(NH3)8][Yb(Pyr)6] (Pyr? = pyrrolate anion, C4H4N?) was obtained by the reaction of ytterbium metal with pyrrole (C4H4NH) in liquid ammonia at ?35 °C. Significant excess of ammonia together with avoiding a pyrrole excess prevents formation of the molecular compound [Yb(Pyr)3(PyrH)2(NH3)2]. [Yb(NH3)8][Yb(Pyr)6] consists of two homoleptic ionic units and rapidly decomposes if removed from the ammonia atmosphere, viz. it shows an ammonia vapour pressure >1 bar.  相似文献

Thiochloro Anions of Molybdenum (IV). Crystal Structure of (NEt4)3[Mo33-S)(μ-S2)3Cl6]Cl μ CH2Cl2. Crystal Structure, Magnetic Properties, and EPR-Spectrum of (NEt4)2 [Mo2(μ-S2)(μ-Cl)2Cl6] From molybdenum pentachloride and tetraethylammonium hydrogensulfide in CH2Cl2 an insoluble product of composition (NEt4)2[Mo2S3Cl9] was obtained along with a brown solution, from which (NEt4)2[Mo2(S2)Cl8] was crystallized. The insoluble product and NEt4Cl react in CH2Cl2 to yield, among others, (NEt4)3[Mo3(S)(S2)3Cl6]Cl · CH2Cl2. The latter crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pnma, a = 2495.8, b = 1501.2, c = 1295.6 pm, Z = 4. According to the crystal structure determination (3070 observed reflexions, R = 0.049) the [Mo3(S)(S2)3Cl6]2? ion consists of an Mo3 triangle with Mo? Mo bonds, each side of the triangle is bridged by disulfido groups and one sulfur atom is capped over the Mo3 triangle; the single chloride ion is looseley associated to three S atoms. (NEt4)2[Mo2(S2)Cl8] also crystallizes in the space group Pnma, a = 1425.6, b = 1129.9, c = 2004.7 pm, Z = 4; structure determination with 1703 observed reflexions, R = 0.061. In the [Mo2(S2)Cl8]2? ion the Mo atoms are bridged via one disulfido group and two chlorine atoms. There is a Mo? Mo bond, but according to the magnetic properties and the EPR spectrum each Mo atom still possesses one unpaired electron.  相似文献

Reactions of 2-(L-carboxyl-2-hydroxyphenyl)thiazolidine with different chromium(III) salts [CrCl3?·?6H2O, K3[Cr(SCN)6], NH4[Cr(NH3)2(SCN)4]?·?H2O, [Cr(urea)6]Cl3?·?3H2O and [Cr(CH3COO)2H2O]2] under varied reaction conditions afforded many new mixed-ligand chromium(III) complexes. The ligand is a tridentate dibasic NSO donor except for complexes 1 and 4 where two moles of the ligand are present for each molecule of complex, one functioning as a dibasic tridentate (NSO) and the other as a monobasic bidentate (NS) (phenolic OH and carboxylic COOH groups remaining uncoordinated). The complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses, magnetic susceptibilities, molar conductances, molecular weights and spectroscopic (IR, Uv-vis) data. The ligand field parameters and NSH Hamiltonian parameters suggest tetragonal geometries of the complexes.  相似文献

Single crystals of the organic‐inorganic arsenate(III): [(CH3)2NH2]3[As2Cl9] and [(CH3)2NH2][AsOCl2] have been grown from aqueous hydrochloric acid solution. The crystals [(CH3)2NH2]3[As2Cl9] have been investigated by X‐ray diffraction (at 253 K), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), dilatometric and dielectric methods. They undergo two structural phase transitions of first order at 228/235 and 298/307 K (on cooling/heating), respectively, which are classified as an "order‐disorder" type. The trigonal [(CH3)2NH2]3[As2Cl9] structure (at 253 K, intermediate phase (II)) refined in the space group R3c, consists of isolated [As2Cl9]3‐ bioctahedral units and dimethylammonium cations hydrogen bonded to the bridging Cl atoms of the anions. The crystals of [(CH3)2NH2][AsOCl2] at 100 K are orthorhombic, space group Cmca. The structure contains one‐dimensional chains formed by strong distorted [AsO2Cl4] octahedra. The dimethylammonium cations reveal distinct disorder.  相似文献
