Abstract

The Moser type reductions of modified Boussinessq and super-Korteweg-de Vries equations upon the finite-dimensional invariant subspaces of solutions are considered. For the Hamiltonian and Liouville integrable finite-dimensional dynamical systems concerned with the invariant subspaces, the Lax representations via the dual moment maps into some deformed loop algebras and the finite hierarchies of conservation laws are obtained. A supergeneralization of the Neumann dynamical system is presented.  相似文献

Two hierarchies of nonlinear integrable positive and negative lattice models are derived from a discrete spectral problem. The two lattice hierarchies are proved to have discrete zero curvature representations associated with a discrete spectral problem, which also shows that the positive and negative hierarchies correspond to positive and negative power expansions of Lax operators with respect to the spectral parameter, respectively. Moreover, the integrable lattice models in the positive hierarchy are of polynomial type, and the integrable lattice models in the negative hierarchy are of rational type. Further, we construct infinite conservation laws of the positive hierarchy, then, the integrable coupling systems of the positive hierarchy are derived from enlarging Lax pair.  相似文献

Abstract

The finite-dimensional invariant subspaces of the solutions of intergrable by Lax infinite-dimensional Benney-Kaup dynamical system are presented. These invariant subspaces carry the canonical symplectic structure, with relation to which the Neumann type dynamical systems are Hamiltonian and Liouville intergrable ones. For the Neumann-Bogolyubov and Neumann-Rosochatius dynamical systems, the Lax-type representations via the dual moment maps into some deformed loop algebras as well as the finite hierarchies of conservation laws are constructed.  相似文献

A difference Hamiltonian operator involving two arbitrary constants is presented, and it is used to construct a pair of nondegenerate Hamiltonian operators. The resulting Hamiltonian pair yields two difference hereditary operators, and the associated positive and negative hierarchies of nonlinear integrable lattice models are derived through the bi-Hamiltonian formulation. Moreover, the two lattice hierarchies are proved to have discrete zero curvature representations associated with a discrete spectral problem, which also shows that the positive and negative hierarchies correspond to positive and negative power expansions of Lax operators with respect to the spectral parameter, respectively. The use of zero curvature equation leads us to conclude that all resulting integrable lattice models are local and that the integrable lattice models in the positive hierarchy are of polynomial type and the integrable lattice models in the negative hierarchy are of rational type.  相似文献

Sequences of canonical conservation laws and generalized symmetries for the lattice Boussinesq and the lattice modified Boussinesq systems are successively derived. The interpretation of these symmetries as differential-difference equations leads to corresponding hierarchies of such equations for which conservation laws and Lax pairs are constructed. Finally, using the continuous symmetry reduction approach, an integrable, multidimensionally consistent system of partial differential equations is derived in relation with the lattice modified Boussinesq system.  相似文献

Three novel finite-dimensional integrable Hamiltonian systems of Rosochatius type and their Lax representations are presented. We make a deformation for the Lax matrbces of the Neumann type, the Bargmann type and the high-order symmetry type of restricted cKdV flows by adding an additional term and then prove that this kind of deformation does not change the r-matrix relations. Finally the new integrable systems are generated from these deformed Lax matrices.  相似文献

By considering a new discrete isospectral eigenvalue problem, two hierarchies of integrable positive and negative lattice models are derived. It is shown that they correspond to positive and negative power expansions of Lax operators with respect to the spectral parameter, respectively. And, each equation in the resulting hierarchies is integrable in Liouville sense. Moreover, a Darboux transformation is established for the typical equations by using gauge transformations of Lax pairs, from which the exact solutions are given.  相似文献

A regular gradient-holonomic approach to studying the Lax type integrability of the Ablowitz–Ladik hierarchy of nonlinear Lax type integrable discrete dynamical systems in the vertex operator representation is presented. The relationship to the Lie-algebraic integrability scheme is analyzed and the connection with the τ-function representation is discussed.  相似文献

Lax pairs regarded as foundations of the inverse scattering methods play an important role in integrable systems. In the framework of bidifferential graded algebras, we propose a straightforward approach to constructing the Lax pairs of integrable systems in functional environment. Some continuous equations and discrete equations are presented.  相似文献

Integrable discretisations for a class of coupled (super) nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) type of equations are presented. The class corresponds to a Lax operator with entries in a Grassmann algebra. Elementary Darboux transformations are constructed. As a result, Grassmann generalisations of the Toda lattice and the NLS dressing chain are obtained. The compatibility (Bianchi commutativity) of these Darboux transformations leads to integrable Grassmann generalisations of the difference Toda and NLS equations. The resulting systems will have discrete Lax representations provided by the set of two consistent elementary Darboux transformations. For the two discrete systems obtained, initial value and initial-boundary problems are formulated.  相似文献

It is well-known that the finite-gap solutions of the KdV equationcan be generated by its recursion operator. We generalize the result to a special form of Lax pair, from which a method to constrain the integrable system to alower-dimensional or fewer variable integrable system is proposed.A direct result is that the n-soliton solutions of the KdV hierarchy can be completely depictedby a series of ordinary differential equations (ODEs), which may be gotten by a simple but unfamiliar Lax pair. Furthermore the AKNS hierarchy is constrained to a series of univariate integrable hierarchies. The key is a special form of Lax pair for the AKNS hierarchy. It is proved that under the constraints all equations of the AKNS hierarchy are linearizable.  相似文献

We introduce a class of spin Calogero-Moser systems associated with root systems of simple Lie algebras and give the associated Lax representations (with spectral parameter) and fundamental Poisson bracket relations. The associated integrable models (called integrable spin Calogero-Moser systems in the paper) and their Lax pairs are then obtained via Poisson reduction and gauge transformations. For Lie algebras of A n -type, this new class of integrable systems includes the usual Calogero-Moser systems as subsystems. Our method is guided by a general framework which we develop here using dynamical Lie algebroids. Two kinds of higher-dimensional Lie algebras and their loop algebras are introduced, for which a few expanding integrable models including the coupling integrable couplings of the Broer-Kaup (BK) hierarchy and the dispersive long wave (DLW) hierarchy as well as the TB hierarchy are obtained. From the reductions of the coupling integrable couplings, the corresponding coupled integrable couplings of the BK equation, the DLW equation, and the TB equation are obtained, respectively. Especially, thecoupling integrable coupling of the TB equation reduces to a few integrable couplings of the well-known mKdV equation. The Hamiltonian structures of the coupling integrable couplings of the three kinds of soliton hierarchies are worked out, respectively, by employing the variational identity. Finally, we decompose the BK hierarchy of evolution equations into x-constrained flows and tn-constrained flows whose adjoint representations and the Lax pairs are given.  相似文献

We develop a new method for constructing integrable Hamiltonian hierarchies of Lax type equations, which combines the fractional powers technique of Gelfand and Dickey, and the classical Hamiltonian reduction technique of Drinfeld and Sokolov. The method is based on the notion of an Adler type matrix pseudodifferential operator and the notion of a generalized quasideterminant. We also introduce the notion of a dispersionless Adler type series, which is applied to the study of dispersionless Hamiltonian equations. Non-commutative Hamiltonian equations are discussed in this framework as well.  相似文献

We obtain the Lax equations associated with a dynamical system endowed with a bilagrangian connection and a closed two-form parallel along the dynamical field . The case of Lagrangian dynamical systems is analysed and the nonnoether constants of motion found by Hojman and Harleston are recovered as being associated to a reduced Lax equation. Completely integrable dynamical systems are also shown to be a particular case of these systems.  相似文献

We apply the new method for constructing integrable Hamiltonian hierarchies of Lax type equations developed in our previous paper to show that all \({\mathcal{W}}\)-algebras \({\mathcal{W}(\mathfrak{gl}N, f)}\) carry such a hierarchy. As an application, we show that all vector constrained KP hierarchies and their matrix generalizations are obtained from these hierarchies by Dirac reduction, which provides the former with a bi-Poisson structure.  相似文献

A family of integrable differential-difference equations is derived from a new matrix spectral problem. The Hamiltonian forms of obtained differential-difference equations are constructed. The Liouville integrability for the obtained integrable family is proved. Then, Bargmann symmetry constraint of the obtained integrable family is presented by binary nonliearization method of Lax pairs and adjoint Lax pairs. Under this Bargmann symmetry constraints, an integrable symplectic map and a sequences of completely integrable finite-dimensional Hamiltonian systems in Liouville sense are worked out, and every integrable differential-difference equations in the obtained family is factored by the integrable symplectic map and a completely integrable finite-dimensional Hamiltonian system.  相似文献

A discrete matrix spectral problem and the associated hierarchy of Lax integrable lattice equations are presented, and it is shown that the resulting Lax integrable lattice equations are all Liouville integrable discrete Hamiltonian systems. A new integrable symplectic map is given by binary Bargmann constraint of the resulting hierarchy. Finally, an infinite set of conservation laws is given for the resulting hierarchy.  相似文献

Though various integrable hierarchies of evolution equations were obtained by choosing proper U in zero-curvature equation Ut-Vx+[U,V]=0, but in this paper, a new integrable hierarchy possessing bi-Hamiltonian structure is worked out by selecting V with spectral potentials. Then its expanding Lax integrable model of the hierarchy possessing a simple Hamiltonian operator \widetilde{J} is presented by constructing a subalgebra \widetilde{G } of the loop algebra \widetilde A2. As linear expansions of the above-mentioned integrable hierarchy and its expanding Lax integrable model with respect to their dimensional numbers, their (2+1)-dimensional forms are derived from a (2+1)-dimensional zero-curvature equation.  相似文献

An extension of the algebraic-geometric method for nonlinear integrable PDE's is shown to lead to new piecewise smooth weak solutions of a class of N-component systems of nonlinear evolution equations. This class includes, among others, equations from the Dym and shallow water equation hierarchies. The main goal of the paper is to give explicit theta-functional expressions for piecewise smooth weak solutions of these nonlinear PDE's, which are associated to nonlinear subvarieties of hyperelliptic Jacobians. The main results of the present paper are twofold. First, we exhibit some of the special features of integrable PDE's that admit piecewise smooth weak solutions, which make them different from equations whose solutions are globally meromorphic, such as the KdV equation. Second, we blend the techniques of algebraic geometry and weak solutions of PDE's to gain further insight into, and explicit formulas for, piecewise-smooth finite-gap solutions. The basic technique used to achieve these aims is rather different from earlier papers dealing with peaked solutions. First, profiles of the finite-gap piecewise smooth solutions are linked to certain finite dimensional billiard dynamical systems and ellipsoidal billiards. Second, after reducing the solution of certain finite dimensional Hamiltonian systems on Riemann surfaces to the solution of a nonstandard Jacobi inversion problem, this is resolved by introducing new parametrizations. Amongst other natural consequences of the algebraic-geometric approach, we find finite dimensional integrable Hamiltonian dynamical systems describing the motion of peaks in the finite-gap as well as the limiting (soliton) cases, and solve them exactly. The dynamics of the peaks is also obtained by using Jacobi inversion problems. Finally, we relate our method to the shock wave approach for weak solutions of wave equations by determining jump conditions at the peak location.
