Structures of Not-finitely Graded Lie Algebras Related to Generalized Virasoro Algebras

In this paper, we study the structure theory of a class of not-finitely graded Lie algebras related to generalized Virasoro algebras. In particular, the derivation algebras, the automorphism groups and the second cohomology groups of these Lie algebras are determined.

On Cartan Invariants and Blocks of Zassenhaus Algebras #

In this article, we determine the Cartan invariants for Zassenhaus algebras W(1,n). This is done by reducing representations of generalized restricted Cartan type Lie algebra W(1,n) to representations of restricted Lie algebras W(1,1) and of ± b𝔰 ± b𝔩(2), and then extending Feldvoss-Nakano's argument on W(1,1) to the case W(1,n).

Structures of Not-finitely Graded Lie Algebras Related to Generalized Heisenberg–Virasoro Algebras

In this paper, we study the structure theory of a class of not-finitely graded Lie algebras related to generalized Heisenberg–Virasoro algebras. In particular, the derivation algebras, the automorphism groups and the second cohomology groups of these Lie algebras are determined.     

Restricted Lie 2-algebras

In this article, we introduce the notions of restricted Lie 2-algebras and crossed modules of restricted Lie algebras, and give a series of examples of restricted Lie 2-algebras. We also construct restricted Lie 2-algebras from A(m)-algebras, restricted Leibniz algebras, restricted right-symmetric algebras. Finally, we prove that there is a one-to-one correspondence between strict restricted Lie 2-algebras and crossed modules of restricted Lie algebras.     

Lie Bialgebras of Generalized Loop Virasoro Algebras

The first cohomology group of generalized loop Virasoro algebras with coefficients in the tensor product of its adjoint module is shown to be trivial. The result is used to prove that Lie bialgebra structures on generalized loop Virasoro algebras are coboundary triangular. The authors generalize the results to generalized map Virasoro algebras.     

Lie Bialgebras of Generalized WITT Type,II

In an article by Michaelis, a class of infinite-dimensional Lie bialgebras containing the Virasoro algebra was presented. This type of Lie bialgebras was classified by Ng and Taft. In a recent article by Song and Su, Lie bialgebra structures on graded Lie algebras of generalized Witt type with finite dimensional homogeneous components were considered. In this article we consider Lie bialgebra structures on the graded Lie algebras of generalized Witt type with infinite dimensional homogeneous components. By proving that the first cohomology group H¹(𝒲, 𝒲 ? 𝒲) is trivial for any graded Lie algebras 𝒲 of generalized Witt type with infinite dimensional homogeneous components, we obtain that all such Lie bialgebras are triangular coboundary.

In this paper we first prove the PBW theorem for reduced universal enveloping algebras of restricted Lie superalgebras. Then the notion of an induced module is introduced and the dimension formula of induced modules is established. Finally, using the results above, we obtain a property of induced modules pertaining to automorphisms of Lie superalgebras and isomorphisms of modules.

Representations of four-derivation Lie algebras of Block type

Block introduced certain analogues of the Zassenhaus algebras over a field of characteristic 0. The nongraded infinite-dimensional simple Lie algebras of Block type constructed by Xu can be viewed as generalizations of the Block algebras. In this paper, we construct a family of irreducible modules in terms of multiplication and differentiation operators on ＂polynomials＂ for four-devivation nongraded Lie algebras of Block type based on the finite-dimensional irreducible weight modules with multiplicity one of general linear Lie algebras. We also find a new series of submodules from which some irreducible quotient modules are obtained.     

Lie bialgebras of generalized Witt type

In this paper, all Lie bialgebra structures on the Lie algebras of generalized Witt type are considered. It is proved that, for any Lie algebra W of generalized Witt type, all Lie bialgebras on W are the coboundary triangular Lie bialgebras. As a by-product, it is also proved that the first cohomology group H1(W, W(?)W) is trivial.     

Capability of Crossed Modules of Lie Algebras

In this paper, we introduce the concept of capability for crossed modules of Lie algebras, which is a generalization of capability in Lie algebras and groups. By using a special central ideal of a crossed module, we give a sufficient condition for the capability of a crossed module of Lie algebras. Also, we will extend the five-term exact sequence on homology of crossed modules of Lie algebras one term further and study the connection between the capability of crossed modules and this sequence. Finally, we study the relation between the capability and the center of a cover of a crossed module.

On the second cohomology of nilpotent orbits in exceptional Lie algebras

In [1], the second de Rham cohomology groups of nilpotent orbits in all the complex simple Lie algebras are described. In this paper we consider non-compact non-complex exceptional Lie algebras, and compute the dimensions of the second cohomology groups for most of the nilpotent orbits. For the rest of cases of nilpotent orbits, which are not covered in the above computations, we obtain upper bounds for the dimensions of the second cohomology groups.     

On non-Abelian Leibniz cohomology

In this note, by using a generalized notion of the Leibniz algebra of derivations, we present the constructions of the zero, first, and second non-Abelian Leibniz cohomologies with coefficients in crossed modules, which generalize the classical zero, first, and second Leibniz cohomology. For Lie algebras we compare the non-Abelian Leibniz and Lie cohomologies. We describe the second non-Abelian Leibniz cohomology via extensions of Leibniz algebras by crossed modules.

Embedding of Lie Algebras in Isogeneralized Structurable Algebras

In a previous paper, the first-named author introduced generalized structurable algebras, while the second-named author introduced the isotopies of Lie algebras. In this paper, we combine the two analyses, submit the notion of isogeneralized structural algebras, and show that they include Lie algebras, all their axiom-preserving generalizations of graded, supersymmetric or isotopic type, as well as numerous other algebras.
