A new Ru(II) complex of [Ru(bpy)2(Hmspip)]Cl2 {in which bpy=2,2'-bipyridine, Hmspip=2-(4-(methylsulfonyl)phenyl)-1H-imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline} have been synthesized and characterized. The ground- and excited-state acid-base properties of [Ru(bpy)2(Hmspip)]Cl2 and its parent complex of [Ru(bpy)2(Hpip)]Cl2 {Hpip=2-phenyl-1H-imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline} have been studied by UV-visible (UV-vis) and emission spectrophotometric pH titrations. [Ru(bpy)2(Hmspip)]Cl2 acts as a calf thymus DNA intercalators with a binding constant of 4.0×10(5) M(-1) in buffered 50 mM NaCl, as evidenced by UV-vis and luminescence titrations, steady-state emission quenching by [Fe(CN)6]4-, DNA competitive binding with ethidium bromide, reverse salt titrations and viscosity measurements.  相似文献

Density functional theory (DFT) calculations on the model [{FeCp(dpe)}(2){1,4-C(6)H(4)(CN)(2)}](2+) (3(2+); dpe = diphosphinoethane) of salts of the cations [{FeCp(dppe)}(2){1,4-C(6)H(4)(CN)(2)}](2+) (1(2+); dppe = 1,2-bis[diphenyldiphosphino]ethane) and [{FeCp*(CO)(2)}(2){1,4-C(6)H(4)(CN)(2)}](2+) (2(2+)), for which the X-ray crystal structures have been determined, as well as on its isomer [{FeCp(dpe)}(2){1,3-C(6)H(4)(CN)(2)}](2+) (4(2+)) and on the related complex [{FeCp(dpe)}(3){1,3,5-C(6)H(3)(CN)(3)}](3+) (5(2+)), indicate that the highest occupied molecular orbitals (HOMOs) of these compounds are localized on the metal centers with negligible participation of the C(6) ring. Thus, the poly(nitrile)phenylene ligand efficiently quenches the electronic communication between the metal centers. This is at variance with the related isoelectronic polyacetylene phenylene complexes, in which the iron centers have been shown to be electronically coupled. Consistently, apart from the case of 3(3+), which shows some degree of delocalization, all of the oxidized forms of 3(2+), 4(2+), and 5(2+) can be described as class II, localized mixed-valent species, in agreement with the electrochemical data showing two close oxidation potentials around 1 V vs FeCp*(2). This is at variance with the p-phenylene-bridged biethynyldiiron analogue, for which extended electronic delocalization was earlier shown to provide greater degree of delocalization of the mixed valency. Time-dependent DFT calculations on 3(2+), 4(2+), and 5(2+) indicate that the lowest-energy absorption band is associated with metal-to-ligand charge-transfer transitions involving the metallic HOMOs and the two lowest unoccupied molecular orbitals that derive from the lowest π*(phenylene) orbitals with some π*(CN) bonding admixture.  相似文献

The condensation reactions of the dimer [ClP(micro-NR)](2) with organic diacids [LL(H)(2)], possessing linear orientations of their organic groups, result in the formation of phospha(III)zane macrocyles of the type [{P(mu-NR)}(2)(LL)](n) of various sizes. The series of macrocycles [{P(mu-N(t)Bu)}(2){1,5-(NH)(2)C(10)H(6)}](3), [{P(mu-NCy)}(2)(1,5-O(2)C(10)H(6))](n) [n = 3; n = 4], [{P(mu-N(t)Bu)}(2){1,4-(NH)(2)C(6)H(4)}](4), [{P(mu-N(t)Bu)}(2)(1,4-O(2)C(6)H(4))], [{P(mu-NCy)}(2)(1,4-O(2)C(6)H(4))](3) and [{P(mu-N(t)Bu)}(2){(NH)C(6)H(4)OC(6)H(4)(NH)}](2) can be related to classical organic frameworks, like calixarenes.  相似文献

Four new potentially polytopic nitrogen donor ligands based on the 1,3,5-triazine fragment, L(1)-L(4) (L(1) = 2-chloro-4,6-di(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)-1,3,5-triazine, L(2) = N,N'-bis(4,6-di(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)ethane-1,2-diamine, L(3) = 2,4,6-tris(tri(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methyl)-1,3,5-triazine, and L(4) = 2,4,6-tris(2,2,2-tri(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)ethoxy)-1,3,5-triazine) have been synthesized and characterized. The X-ray crystal structure of L(3) confirms that its molecular nature consists of a 1,3,5-triazine ring bearing three tripodal tris(pyrazolyl) arms. L(1), L(2), and L(4) react with Cu(I), Cu(II), Pd(II) and Ag(I) salts yielding mono-, di-, and oligonuclear derivatives: [Cu(L(1))(Cy(3)P)]ClO(4), [{Ag(2)(L(2))}(CF(3)SO(3))(2)]·H(2)O, [Cu(2)(L(2))(NO(3))(2)](NO(3))(2)·H(2)O, [Cu(2)(L(2))(CH(3)COO)(2)](CH(3)COO)(2)·3H(2)O, [Pd(2)(L(2))(Cl)(4)]·2H(2)O, [Ru(L(2))(Cl)(OH)]·CH(3)OH, [Ag(3)(L(4))(2)](CF(3)SO(3))(3) and [Ag(3)(L(4))(2)](BF(4))(3). The interaction of L(3) with Ag(I), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Ru(II) complexes unexpectedly produced the hydrolysis of the ligand with formation, in all cases, of tris(pyrazolyl)methane (TPM) derivatives. In detail, the already known [Ag(TPM)(2)](CF(3)SO(3)) and [Cu(TPM)(2)](NO(3))(2), as well as the new [Zn(TPM)(2)](CF(3)SO(3))(2) and [Ru(TMP)(p-cymene)]Cl(OH)·2H(2)O complexes have been isolated. Single-crystal XRD determinations on the latter derivatives confirm their formulation, evidencing, for the Ru(II) complex, an interesting supramolecular arrangement of the anions and crystallization water molecules.  相似文献

为获取具有活性官能团的接枝型、高性能荧光传感配合物,合成了2-(4-氨基苯基)-1H-咪唑[4,5-f][1,10]邻菲啰啉(CImPB-NH2)、2-(4-羟基苯基)-1H-咪唑[4,5-f][1,10]邻菲啰啉(CImPB-OH)、2-(4-羧基苯基)-1H-咪唑[4,5-f][1,10]邻菲啰啉(CImPB-COOH)和2-(4-硝基苯基)-1H-咪唑[4,5-f][1,10]邻菲啰啉(CImPB-NO2)四种配体,借助紫外-可见(UV-Vis)吸收光谱、荧光(PL)光谱、循环伏安法(CV)和含时密度泛函理论(TD-DFT)对上述四种配体与过渡金属元素钌(Ru)所形成的配合物的光电性能进行研究.结果表明:四种配合物均在可见光区域有较强吸收,发光范围覆盖绿色到红色光波段.在极性溶剂N,N-二甲基甲酰胺(DMF)中,以2-(4-氨基苯基)-1H-咪唑[4,5-f][1,10]邻菲啰啉为配体所构建的钌配合物([Ru(CImPB-NH2)(bpy)2]2+的荧光量子产率(Φ)较不含咪唑环的5-氨基邻菲啰啉合钌([Ru(phen-NH2)(bpy)2]2+)的提高了67%,以2-(4-羧基苯基)-1H-咪唑[4,5-f][1,10]邻菲啰啉所构建的钌配合物([Ru(CImPB-COOH)(bpy)2]2+)的Φ可达29.8%,是[Ru(phen-NH2)(bpy)2]2+的18倍.理论计算表明:配体中取代苯环、咪唑环和邻菲啰啉的稠环共平面,形成共价大π体系,其有效共轭长度较邻菲啰啉母体有显著增加,配合物是以Ru为中心的近似八面体构型,理论计算的电子吸收光谱和跃迁性质与实验结果相一致.上述研究有可能为接枝型、高性能荧光传感配合物的设计和筛选提供实验依据.  相似文献

The condensation reaction of resorcinol with cis-[ClP(μ-N(t)Bu)(2)PN(H)(t)Bu] produced a difunctional derivative 1,3-C(6)H(4)[OP(μ-N(t)Bu)(2)PN(H)(t)Bu](2) (1), whereas the similar reaction with [ClP(μ-N(t)Bu)](2) resulted in the formation of a 1:1 mixture of dimeric and tetrameric species, [{P(μ-N(t)Bu)}(2){1,3-(O)(2)-C(6)H(4)}](2) (2a) and [{P(μ-N(t)Bu)}(2){1,3-(O)(2)-C(6)H(4)}](4) (2b), which were separated by repeated fractional crystallization and column chromatography. The reaction of dimer 2a with H(2)O(2) and selenium produces tetrachalcogenides [{(O)P(μ-N(t)Bu)}(2){1,3-(O)(2)-C(6)H(4)}](2) (3) and [{(Se)P(μ-N(t)Bu)}(2){1,3-(O)(2)-C(6)H(4)}](2) (4), respectively. The reaction between the dimer (2a) and [Pd(μ-Cl)(η(3)-C(3)H(5))](2) or AuCl(SMe(2)) yielded the corresponding tetranuclear complexes, [{((Cl)(η(3)-C(3)H(5))Pd)P(μ-N(t)Bu)}(2){1,3-(O)(2)-C(6)H(4)}](2) (5) and [{(ClAu)P(μ-N(t)Bu)}(2){1,3-(O)(2)-C(6)H(4)}](2) (6) in good yield. The complexes 5 and 6 are the rare examples of phosphorus macrocycles containing two or more exocyclic transition metal fragments. Treatment of 1 with copper halides in 1:1 molar ratio resulted in the formation of one-dimensional (1D) coordination polymers, [(CuX){1,3-C(6)H(4){OP(μ-N(t)Bu)(2)PN(H)(t)Bu}}(2)](n) (7, X = Cl; 8, X = Br; 9, X = I), which showed the helical structure in solid state because of intramolecular hydrogen bonding, whereas similar reactions of 1 with 4 equiv of copper halides also produced 1D-coordination polymers, [(Cu(2)X(2))(2){1,3-C(6)H(4){OP(μ-N(t)Bu)(2)PN(H)(t)Bu}(2)}](n) (10, X = Cl; 11, X = Br; 12, X = I), but containing Cu(2)X(2) rhomboids instead of CuX linkers. The crystal structures of 1, 2a, 2b, 4, 7-9, and 12 were established by X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

With the aim of further developing the structure-activity relationship in biologically active half-sandwich Ru(ii)-[9]aneS(3) complexes ([9]aneS(3)=1,4,7-trithiacyclononane), a series of new mono- and dinuclear complexes bearing the chelating dicarboxylate ligands oxalate (ox), malonate (mal) and methylmalonate (mmal), have been synthesized and studied. Treatment of the precursor [Ru([9]aneS(3))(dmso)(3)][CF(3)SO(3)](2) (7) with equivalent amounts of K(2)(dicarb) afforded the corresponding neutral complexes with the general formula [Ru([9]aneS(3))(dmso-S)(eta(2)-dicarb)] (where dicarb=ox (1), mal (2) and mmal (3)), while using half an equivalent of K(2)(ox), the symmetric dimer [{Ru([9]aneS(3))(dmso-S)}(2)(mu-eta(4)-ox)][CF(3)SO(3)](2) (4) was isolated. The reaction of with the oxalato complex fac-[Ru(dmso-S)(3)(dmso-O)(eta(2)-ox)] (9) yielded two asymmetric dimers, namely [{Ru([9]aneS(3))(dmso-S)}(mu-eta(4)-ox){fac-Ru(dmso-S)(3)(CF(3)SO(3))}][CF(3)SO(3)] (5) and [{Ru([9]aneS(3))(dmso-S)}(mu-eta(4)-ox){fac-Ru(dmso-S)(3)(dmso-O)}][CF(3)SO(3)](2) (6), depending on the reaction conditions. All new complexes were structurally characterized, both in solution (by NMR spectroscopy) and in the solid state (by X-ray crystallography). The chemical behavior of the complexes in aqueous solution was studied by UV-Vis and NMR spectroscopy in view of their potential antitumor activity: the monomers partially release a dmso ligand to yield the monofunctional aqua adduct [Ru([9]aneS(3))(eta(2)-dicarb)(H(2)O)], while the dimers rapidly open up the oxalato bridge to give two mononuclear fragments. Splitting of the asymmetric dimers 5 and 6 occurs selectively and the ox moiety remains bonded to the fac-Ru(dmso-S)(3) fragment. A detailed comparison of the structural and chemical features of 1-6 with those of similar dicarboxylate complexes possessing the fac-Ru(dmso-S)(3) fragment in place of Ru([9]aneS(3)) allows us to draw a number of general conclusions on the binding preferences of dicarb ligands on the octahedral Ru(II) center.  相似文献

The reaction of [Sb(2)W(22)O(74)(OH)(2)](12-) and [Fe(4)(H(2)O)(10)(β-TeW(9)O(33))(2)](4-) with (NH(4))(2)[RuCl(6)] in aqueous solution resulted in the novel ruthenium(IV)-containing polyanions [{Ru(IV)(4)O(6)(H(2)O)(9)}(2)Sb(2)W(20)O(68)(OH)(2)](4-) and [{Ru(IV)(4)O(6)(H(2)O)(9)}(2){Fe(H(2)O)(2)}(2){β-TeW(9)O(33)}(2)H](-), exhibiting two cationic, adamantane-like, tetraruthenium(IV) units {Ru(4)O(6)(H(2)O)(9)}(4+) bound to the respective polyanion in an external, highly accessible fashion.  相似文献

A novel, and quite general, approach for the preparation of tris(heteroleptic) ruthenium(II) complexes is reported. Using this method, which is based on photosubstitution of carbonyl ligands in precursors such as [Ru(bpy)(CO)(2)Cl(2)] and [Ru(bpy)(Me(2)bpy)(CO)(2)](PF(6))(2), mononuclear and dinuclear Ru(II) tris(heteroleptic) polypyridyl complexes containing the bridging ligands 3,5-bis(pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazole (Hbpt) and 3,5-bis(pyrazin-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazole (Hbpzt) have been prepared. The complexes obtained were purified by column chromatography and characterized by HPLC, mass spectrometry, 1H NMR, absorption and emission spectroscopy and by electrochemical methods. The X-ray structures of the compounds [Ru(bpy)(Me(2)bpy)(bpt)](PF(6))x0.5C(4)H(10)O [1x0.5C(4)H(10)O], [Ru(bpy)(Me(2)bpy)(bpzt)](PF(6))xH(2)O (2xH(2)O) and [Ru(bpy)(Me(2)bpy)(CH(3)CN)(2)](PF(6))(2)xC(4)H(10)O (6xC(4)H(10)O) are reported. The synthesis and characterisation of the dinuclear analogues of 1 and 2, [{Ru(bpy)(Me(2)bpy)}(2)bpt](PF(6))(3)x2H(2)O (3) and [{Ru(bpy)(Me(2)bpy)}(2)bpzt](PF(6))(3) (4), are also described.  相似文献

Two series of new complexes, [Ru(phen)2L]2+ and [RuL3]2+, where phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, and L denotes imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline (IP) or 2-(4-R-phenyl)imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline(PIP, R = H; HOP, R = –OH; MOP, R = –OMe; DMNP, R = NMe2; CLP, R = Cl; NOP, R = NO2), were synthesized and characterized. Their binding to calf thymus DNA was investigated using electronic absorption and emission spectroscopy. [Ru(IP)3]2+ and each [Ru(phen)2 L]2+ showed dramatic absorption hypochromism and bathochromicity, as well as steady-state emission intensity and excited-state lifetime enhancements {except nonluminescent [Ru(phen)2NOP]2+} associated with the presence of DNA, inferring that they bind to DNA by intercalation. These phenomena were not observed for [RuL3]2+ type complexes (except L = IP), indicating that they bind to DNA at most through electrostatic interactions.  相似文献

A series of functionalized adamantanes: 1,3-bis(1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)(tr(2)ad); 1,3,5-tris(1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)-(tr(3)ad); 1,3,5,7-tetrakis(1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)adamantanes (tr(4)ad) and 3,5,7-tris(1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)-1-azaadamantane (tr(3)ada) were developed as a new family of geometrically rigid polydentate tectons for supramolecular synthesis of framework solids. The coordination compounds were prepared under hydrothermal conditions; their structures reveal a special potential of the triazolyl adamantanes for the generation of highly-connected and open frameworks as well as structures based upon polynuclear metal clusters assembled with short-distance N(1),N(2)-triazole bridges. Complexes [Cd{L}(2)]A·nH(2)O [L = tr(3)ad, A = 2NO(3)(-) (4), CdCl(4)(2-) (5); L = tr(3)ada, A = CdI(4)(2-) (7)] are isomorphous and adopt a layered 3,6-connected structure of CdI(2) type. [{Cu(3)(OH)}(2)(SO(4))(5)(H(2)O)(2){tr(3)ad}(3)]·26H(2)O (6) is a layered polymer based upon Cu(3)(μ(3)-OH) nodes and trigonal tr(3)ad links. In [Cu(3)(OH)(2){tr(3)ada}(2)(H(2)O)(4)](ClO(4))(4) (8), [Cu(2){tr(3)ada}(2)(H(2)O)(3)](SO(4))(2)·7H(2)O (9) and [Cd(2){tr(3)ada}(3)]Cl(4)·28H(2)O (10) (UCl(3)-type net) the organic tripodal ligands bridge polynuclear metal clusters. Complexes [Ag{tr(4)ad}]NO(3)·3.5H(2)O (11) and [Cu{tr(4)ad}(H(2)O)](ClO(4))(2)·3H(2)O (12) have 3D SrAl(2)-type frameworks with the metal ions and adamantane tectons as topologically equivalent tetrahedral nodes, while in [Cd(3)Cl(6){tr(4)ad}(2)]·9H(2)O (13) the ligands bridge trinuclear six-connected Cd(3)Cl(6)(μ-tr)(4)(tr)(2) clusters. In the compounds [Cd(2){tr(2)ad}(4)(H(2)O)(4)](CdBr(4))(2)·2H(2)O (2) and [Cd{tr(2)ad}(4){CdI(3)}(2)]·4H(2)O (3) the bitopic ligands provide simple links between the metal ions, while in [Ag(2){tr(2)ad}(2)](NO(3))(2)·2H(2)O (1) the ligand is tetradentate and generates a 3D framework.  相似文献

New heterobimetallic tetranuclear complexes of formula [Fe(III){B(pz)(4)}(CN)(2)(μ-CN)Mn(II)(bpy)(2)](2)(ClO(4))(2)·CH(3)CN (1), [Fe(III){HB(pz)(3)}(CN)(2)(μ-CN)Ni(II)(dmphen)(2)](2)(ClO(4))(2)·2CH(3)OH (2a), [Fe(III){B(pz)(4)}(CN)(2)(μ-CN)Ni(II)(dmphen)(2)](2)(ClO(4))(2)·2CH(3)OH (2b), [Fe(III){HB(pz)(3)}(CN)(2)(μ-CN)Co(II)(dmphen)(2)](2)(ClO(4))(2)·2CH(3)OH (3a), and [Fe(III){B(pz)(4)}(CN)(2)(μ-CN)Co(II)(dmphen)(2)](2)(ClO(4))(2)·2CH(3)OH (3b), [HB(pz)(3)(-) = hydrotris(1-pyrazolyl)borate, B(Pz)(4)(-) = tetrakis(1-pyrazolyl)borate, dmphen = 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline, bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine] have been synthesized and structurally and magnetically characterized. Complexes 1-3b have been prepared by following a rational route based on the self-assembly of the tricyanometalate precursor fac-[Fe(III)(L)(CN)(3)](-) (L = tridentate anionic ligand) and cationic preformed complexes [M(II)(L')(2)(H(2)O)(2)](2+) (L' = bidentate α-diimine type ligand), this last species having four blocked coordination sites and two labile ones located in cis positions. The structures of 1-3b consist of cationic tetranuclear Fe(III)(2)M(II)(2) square complexes [M = Mn (1), Ni (2a and 2b), Co (3a and 3b)] where corners are defined by the metal ions and the edges by the Fe-CN-M units. The charge is balanced by free perchlorate anions. The [Fe(L)(CN)(3)](-) complex in 1-3b acts as a ligand through two cyanide groups toward two divalent metal complexes. The magnetic properties of 1-3b have been investigated in the temperature range 2-300 K. A moderately strong antiferromagnetic interaction between the low-spin Fe(III) (S = 1/2) and high-spin Mn(II) (S = 5/2) ions has been found for 1 leading to an S = 4 ground state (J(1) = -6.2 and J(2) = -2.7 cm(-1)), whereas a moderately strong ferromagnetic interaction between the low-spin Fe(III) (S = 1/2) and high-spin Ni(II) (S = 1) and Co(II) (S = 3/2) ions has been found for complexes 2a-3b with S = 3 (2a and 2b) and S = 4 (3a and 3b) ground spin states [J(1) = +21.4 cm(-1) and J(2) = +19.4 cm(-1) (2a); J(1) = +17.0 cm(-1) and J(2) = +12.5 cm(-1) (2b); J(1) = +5.4 cm(-1) and J(2) = +11.1 cm(-1) (3a); J(1) = +8.1 cm(-1) and J(2) = +11.0 cm(-1) (3b)] [the exchange Hamiltonian being of the type H? = -J(S?(i)·S?(j))]. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations have been used to substantiate the nature and magnitude of the exchange magnetic coupling observed in 1-3b and also to analyze the dependence of the exchange magnetic coupling on the structural parameters of the Fe-C-N-M skeleton.  相似文献

A novel ruthenium(II) complex of [Ru(bpy)2(Hbopip)](ClO4)2 (in which bpy=2,2'-bipyridine, Hbopip=2-(4-benzoxazolyl)phenylimidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline) was synthesized and characterized. The spectrophotometric pH titrations of the complex showed that it acted as a pH-induced luminescence "off-on-off" switch: a luminescence off-on switch with a luminescence enhancement factor of IpH=3.0/IpH=1.0=20 occurring over a narrow pH range of 1.00-3.00 plus a luminescence on-off switch with a luminescence enhancement factor of 3 over a pH range of 3.20-9.40. The excited-state ionization constant of the complex derived, pKa1*=3.06, is 1.36 pKa units greater than the ground-state pKa1=1.70, and pKa2*=5.01 and pKa3*=8.22 are comparable to the ground-state pKa2=5.23 and pKa3=8.22, respectively. The complex avidly bound to calf thymus DNA with a large binding constant of (1.2+/-0.3)x10(7) M-1 in buffered 50 mM NaCl, as evidenced by UV-vis and luminescence titrations, steady-state emission quenching by [Fe(CN)6]4-, DNA competitive binding with ethidium bromide, viscosity measurements, and DNA melting experiments.  相似文献

Two new star-shaped ligands with a 1,3,5-triphenylbenzene core, tmpb (1,3,5-tris[p-2-(2'-pyridyl)benzimidazolylphenyl]benzene), and a 2,4,6-tris(p-biphenyl)-1,3,5-triazine core, tmbt (2,4,6-tris[p-2-(2'-pyridyl)benzimidazolylbiphenyl]-1,3,5-triazine), have been synthesized. Their corresponding trinuclear Ru(II) complexes [Ru3(tmpb)(bpy)6](PF6)6 (3) and [Ru3(tmpt)(bpy)6](PF6)6 (4) have been obtained. Two dinuclear linear Ru(II) complexes with previously reported ligands bmb (1,4-bis[2-(2'-pyridyl)benzimidazolyl]benzene) and bmbp (4,4'-bis[2-(2'-pyridyl)benzimidazolyl]biphenyl) and formulae [Ru2(bmb)(bpy)4](PF6)4 (1) and [Ru2(bmbp)(bpy)4](PF6)4 (2) have also been synthesized. Photophysical and electrochemical properties of the new compounds have been investigated. All four compounds display a characteristic metal-to-ligand-charge transfer (MLCT) absorption band and emit a red light when excited at the maximum of the MLCT band with emission maximum at 624, 629, 623 and 625 nm, respectively in neat films at ambient temperature. The emission quantum efficiency of the four complexes in neat films was determined to be 0.15, 0.17, 0.04 and 0.05, respectively. Light emitting devices based on these four compounds were fabricated by spin-casting the compound as a neat film to an ITO substrate, followed by the deposition of an aluminium metal layer. All devices emit a deep red light and the device behavior resembles that of a light emitting electrochemical cell. The EL maximum of the devices 1, 2, 3, and 4 is at 637, 657, 678, and 655 nm, respectively. All four devices have a fast response time when a sufficiently high voltage is applied. The device based on 2 is the brightest with a maximum luminance of 133 cd m(-2) at 7 V. The performance of devices based on 1, 2, and 4 is in general much more efficient than the device based on [Ru(bpy)3](PF6)2, which was fabricated and evaluated under the same experimental conditions as for the devices based on 1-4.  相似文献

Inventing new wheels: reaction of [M(3)(CO)(12) ] (M=Ru, Os) with 4-RC(6)H(4)SH afforded [{M(S-4-RC(6)H(4))(2)(CO)(2)}(8)] (R=H; I) or [{M(S-4-RC(6)H(4))(2)(CO)(2)}(6)] (R=Me, iPr; II; see scheme), all of which have been structurally characterized. The octamers I are unique metal molecular wheels featuring skew-edge-shared octahedra with a central planar M(8) octagon. A novel dinuclear Ru(II) complex, [(bpy)(2)Ru(ebipcH(2))Ru(bpy)(2)](ClO(4))(4), where bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine and ebipcH(2) = N-ethyl-4,7-bis([1,10]-phenanthroline[5,6-f]imidazol-2-yl)carbazole, has been newly synthesized. The pH effects on UV-vis absorption and emission spectra of the complex are studied, and ground- and excited-state ionization constants of the complex are derived. The binding of the complex to calf thymus (ct) DNA is investigated with absorption and luminescence titrations, steady-state emission quenching, and viscosity measurements. The complex acts as a pH-induced "on-off" emission switch between pH 8.0 and pH 10.0 with a maximum on-off ratio of approximately 100 which is favorably compared with the other imidazole-containing Ru(II) complex congeners, and a strong ct-DNA intercalator with an intrinsic binding constant of 1.31(+/-0.08) x 10(6) M(-)(1) in buffered 50 mM NaCl.  相似文献
