In the 1H NMR spectra of the 1‐vinylpyrroles with amino‐ and alkylsulfanyl groups in 5 and 2 positions, an extraordinarily large difference between resonance positions of the HA and HB terminal methylene protons of the vinyl group is discovered. Also, the one‐bond 1J(Cβ,HB) coupling constant is surprisingly greater than the 1J(Cβ,HA) coupling constant in pyrroles under investigation, while in all known cases, there was a reverse relationship between these coupling constants. These spectral anomalies are substantiated by quantum chemical calculations. The calculations show that the amine nitrogen lone pair is removed from the conjugation with the π‐system of the pyrrole ring so that it is directed toward the HB hydrogen. These factors are favorable to the emergence of the intramolecular C–HB???N hydrogen bonding in the s‐cis(N) conformation. On the other hand, the spatial proximity of the sulfur to the HB hydrogen provides an opportunity of the intramolecular C–HB???S hydrogen bonding in the s‐cis(S) conformation. Presence of the hydrogen bond critical points as well as ring critical point for corresponding chelate ring revealed by a quantum theory of atoms in molecules (QTAIM) approach confirms the existence of the weak intramolecular C–H???N and C–H???S hydrogen bonding. Therefore, an unusual high‐frequency shift of the HB signal and the increase in the 1J(Cβ,HB) coupling constant can be explained by the effects of hydrogen bonding. We use quantum theory of atoms in molecules (QTAIM) and the stress tensor topological approaches to explain the effects of the torsion φ of the C‐C bond linking the two phenyl rings of the biphenyl molecule on a bond‐by‐bond basis using both a scalar and vector‐based analysis. Using the total local energy density H( r b), we show the favorable conditions for the formation of the controversial H–H bonding interactions for a planar biphenyl geometry. This bond‐by‐bond QTAIM analysis is found to be agreement with an earlier alternative QTAIM atom‐by‐atom approach that indicated that the H–H bonding interaction provided a locally stabilizing effect that is overwhelmed by the destabilizing role of the C‐C bond. This leads to a global destabilization of the planar biphenyl conformation compared with the twisted global minimum. In addition, the H( r b) analysis showed that only the central torsional C‐C bond indicated a minimum for a torsion φ value coinciding with that of the conventional global energy minimum. The H–H bonding interactions are found to be topologically unstable for any torsion of the central C‐C bond away from the planar biphenyl geometry. Conversely, we demonstrate that for 0.0° < φ < 39.95° there is a resultant increase in the topological stability of the C nuclei comprising the central torsional C‐C bond. Evidence is found of the effect of the H–H bonding interactions on the torsion φ of the central C‐C bond of the biphenyl molecule in the form of the QTAIM response β of the total electronic charge density ρ( r b). Using a vector‐based treatment of QTAIM we confirm the presence of the sharing of chemical character between adjacent bonds. In addition, we present a QTAIM interpretation of hyperconjugation and conjugation effects, the former was quantified as larger in agreement with molecular orbital (MO) theory. The stress tensor and the QTAIM H atomic basin path set areas are independently found to be new tools relevant for the incommensurate gas to solid phase transition occurring in biphenyl for a value of the torsion reaction coordinate φ ≈ 5°. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

In the title compound, C16H18N6O, an N‐carbonylimidazole derivative of pyrazoline‐1‐carboximidamide, the π‐electron density of the N atom in the 1‐position on the pyrazoline ring is delocalized through the amidine moiety and the adjacent carbonyl group. The imidazole ring, though coplanar with the rest of the molecule, is deconjugated. The pyrazoline ring adopts a flat‐envelope conformation, having the substituted phenyl ring oriented perpendicular to the mean plane of the heterocycle. Both of the two potential hydrogen‐bond donors are involved in intramolecular hydrogen‐bonding interactions.  相似文献

The energies, geometries and harmonic vibrational frequencies of 1:1 5‐hydroxytryptamine‐water (5‐HT‐H2O) complexes are studied at the MP2/6‐311++G(d,p) level. Natural bond orbital (NBO), quantum theory of atoms in molecules (QTAIM) analyses and the localized molecular orbital energy decomposition analysis (LMO‐EDA) were performed to explore the nature of the hydrogen‐bonding interactions in these complexes. Various types of hydrogen bonds (H‐bonds) are formed in these 5‐HT‐H2O complexes. The intermolecular C4H55‐HT···Ow H‐bond in HTW3 is strengthened due to the cooperativity, whereas no such cooperativity is found in the other 5‐HT‐H2O complexes. H‐bond in which nitrogen atom of amino in 5‐HT acted as proton donors was stronger than other H‐bonds. Our researches show that the hydrogen bonding interaction plays a vital role on the relative stabilities of 5‐HT‐H2O complexes.  相似文献

Four compounds [Dy(H2bidc)(Hbidc)(H2O)8] · 8H2O ( 1 ), {[Dy(Hbidc)(H2O)2(Htzac)] · 3H2O}n ( 2 ), [Dy(C2O4)0.5(Hbidc)(H2O)3]n ( 3 ), {[Dy2(Hbidc)2(H2O)(SO4)] · H2O}n ( 4 ) (H3bidc = 1H‐benzimidazole‐5,6‐dicarboxylic acid, H2tzac = 1H‐3‐amino‐5‐carboxy‐1,2,4‐triazole) were synthesized with hydrothermal synthesis and structurally characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. X‐ray analysis revealed that the four coordination compounds have different structures: Compound 1 is a three dimensional supermolecular structure joined by hydrogen bonding interactions based upon dinuclear units. Compound 2 is a three dimensional supermolecular structure combined by hydrogen‐bonding interactions based upon one dimensional coordination chain including a T4(1)‐type water cluster chain. The structure of compound 3 is built of two dimensional (3,6)‐connected kgd‐type (43)2(46.66.83) layers with a right‐handed and a left‐handed helical chain, which are further extended into three dimensional supramolecular architecture by hydrogen bonding interactions. Compound 4 displays a three dimensional framework containing a dinuclear dysprosium building unit with a (3,8)‐connected (4.52)2(42.510.612.7.83) topological framework. In addition, the photoluminescent property of compound 3 was investigated.  相似文献

Both title compounds are derivatives of salicylic acid. 5‐Formylsalicylic acid (systematic name: 5‐formyl‐2‐hydroxybenzoic acid), C8H6O4, possesses three good hydrogen‐bond donors and/or acceptors coplanar with their attached benzene ring and abides very well by Etter's hydrogen‐bond rules. Intermolecular O—H...O and some weak C—H...O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into a planar sheet. Reaction of this acid and o‐phenylenediamine in refluxing ethanol produced in high yield the new zwitterionic compound 5‐(benzimidazolium‐2‐yl)salicylate [systematic name: 5‐(1H‐benzimidazol‐3‐ium‐2‐yl)‐2‐hydroxybenzoate], C14H10N2O3. Each imidazolium N—H group and its adjacent salicyl C—H group chelate one carboxylate O atom via hydrogen bonds, forming seven‐membered rings. As a result of steric hindrance, the planes of the molecules within these pairs of hydrogen‐bonded molecules are inclined to one another by ∼74°. There are also π–π stacking interactions between the parallel planes of the imidazole ring and the benzene ring of the salicyl component of the adjacent molecule on one side and the benzimidazolium component of the molecule on the other side.  相似文献

The title compound, C11H10N3+·Cl?·H2O, belongs to the N1‐methyl‐substituted imidazo[4,5‐f]quinoline family, in which the heterocyclic ring is protonated at the pyridine rather than at the imidazole N atom. The molecule as a whole is almost exactly planar. The molecular structure has been compared with that of the 2‐amino analogue described in the literature, and it was found that the extra amino group of the latter is involved in conjugation with the adjacent double bond, i.e. the conjugation does not extend over the entire heterocyclic system. The cation of the title compound forms a strong hydrogen bond with the Cl? anion and the anions are interconnected by the water solvent molecule.  相似文献

In the title compound, [Co(C5H3N2O4)2(H2O)2]·C10H8N2, the Co atom is trans‐coordinated by two pairs of N and O atoms from two monoanionic 4,5‐dicarboxyimidazole ligands, and by two O atoms from two coordinated water molecules, in a distorted octahedral geometry. The 4,4′‐bipyridine solvent molecule is not involved in coordination but is linked by an N—H⋯N hydrogen bond to the neutral [Co(C5H3N2O4)2(H2O)2] molecule. Both molecules are located on inversion centers. The crystal packing is stabilized by N—H⋯N and O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, which produce a three‐dimensional hydrogen‐bonded network. Offset π–π stacking interactions between the pyridine rings of adjacent 4,4′‐bipyridine molecules were observed, with a face‐to‐face distance of 3.345 (1) Å.  相似文献

The direct annelation reaction of 4‐substituted 2‐amino‐l‐benzylideneamino‐1H‐imidazoles ( 1 ) or 2‐amino‐1‐isopropylideneamino‐1H‐imidazole ( 8 ) with ethoxymethylenemalononitrile ( I ) gave successfully bicyclic imidazo[1,2‐a]pyrimidine compounds 2 and 9 in high yields. The reactions of other ethoxymethylene compounds of lower reactivity, i.e., ethyl ethoxymethylenecyanoacetate ( II ) and diethyl ethoxymethylenemalonate ( III ), with 2‐amino‐1H‐imidazoles under similar conditions afforded the corresponding enamines 3, 4 and 10 , which, upon heating in the presence of an acid or a base, could readily be cyclized to form imidazopyrimidines except for 1‐isopropylideneamino compound 10 . In general, the 3‐phenyl compounds ( 3b and 4b ) did not cyclize to the type 2 compound resulting in a full recovery of the starting enamines.  相似文献

In the title compound [systematic name: 6‐amino‐5‐formyl‐3‐methylpyrimidine‐2,4(1H,3H)‐dione], C6H7N3O3, the intramolecular dimensions provide evidence for some polarization of the electronic structure. There is an intramolecular N—H...O hydrogen bond; this and a combination of three intermolecular N—H...O hydrogen bonds generate an almost planar ribbon containing S(6), R22(4), R21(6) and R44(16) rings. These ribbons are linked into sheets by a dipolar carbonyl–carbonyl interaction. The structure was refined as a nonmerohedral twin, with twin fractions 0.7924 (1) and 0.2076 (10).  相似文献

The title molecule, C9H10N4O3, consists of benzene and imidazole rings which are almost perpendicular to each other. A hydroxyimino group is directly linked to the imidazole ring with a double C=N bond, which is the first example in this type of compound. The double bond may be a good location for the initiation of various reactions with a wide range of potential applications. In the crystal structure, there are π–π interactions between molecules related by a centre of symmetry, with the imidazole and benzene rings almost completely overlapped. The molecules are hydrogen bonded in each direction and form a three‐dimensional hydrogen‐bond network.  相似文献

The title compounds, 17‐(1H‐indazol‐1‐yl)androsta‐5,16‐dien‐3β‐ol, (I), and 17‐(2H‐indazol‐2‐yl)androsta‐5,16‐dien‐3β‐ol, (II), both C26H32N2O, have an indazole substituent at the C17 position. The six‐membered B ring of each compound assumes a half‐chair conformation. A twist of the steroid skeleton is observed and reproduced in quantum‐mechanical ab initio calculations of the isolated molecule using a molecular orbital Hartree–Fock method. In the 1H‐indazole derivative, (I), the molecules are joined in a head‐to‐head fashion via O—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming chains along the a axis. In the 2H‐indazole derivative, (II), the molecules are joined in a head‐to‐tail fashion with one of the N atoms of the indazole ring system acting as the acceptor. The hydrogen‐bond pattern consists of zigzag chains running along the b axis. Substituted steroids have proven to be effective in inhibiting androgen biosynthesis through coordination of the Fe atoms of some enzymes, and this study shows that indazole‐substituted steroids adopt twisted conformations that restrict their intermolecular interactions.  相似文献

Crystal structures are reported for three substituted 1H‐imidazole‐4,5‐dicarbonitrile compounds used as catalysts for the coupling reaction of nucleoside methyl phosphonamidites, namely 2‐(3′,5′‐dimethylbiphenyl‐2‐yl)‐1H‐imidazole‐4,5‐dicarbonitrile, C19H14N4, (I), 2‐(2′,4′,6′‐trimethylbiphenyl‐2‐yl)‐1H‐imidazole‐4,5‐dicarbonitrile, C20H16N4, (II), and 2‐[8‐(3,5‐dimethylphenyl)naphthalen‐1‐yl]‐1H‐imidazole‐4,5‐dicarbonitrile, C23H16N4, (III). The asymmetric unit of (I) contains two independent molecules with similar conformations. There is steric repulsion between the imidazole group and the terminal phenyl group in all three compounds, resulting in the nonplanarity of the molecules. The naphthalene group of (III) shows significant deviation from planarity. The C—N bond lengths in the imidazole rings range from 1.325 (2) to 1.377 (2) Å. The molecules are connected into zigzag chains by intermolecular N—H...Nimidazole [for (I)] or N—H...·Ncyano [for (II) and (III)] hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The structure of the title compound, [Cu2(C12H24N4O2)(C3H4N2)2(CH4O)2](ClO4)2 or [Cu2(dmoxpn)(HIm)2(CH3OH)2](ClO4)2, where dmoxpn is the dianion of N,N′‐bis[3‐(dimethylamino)propyl]oxamide and HIm is imidazole, consists of a centrosymmetric trans‐oxamidate‐bridged copper(II) binuclear cation, having an inversion centre at the mid‐point of the central C—C bond, and two perchlorate anions. The CuII atom has square‐pyramidal coordination geometry involving two N atoms and an O atom from the dmoxpn ligand, an N atom from an imidazole ring, and an O atom from a methanol molecule. The crystal structure is stabilized by O—H⋯O, N—H⋯O and C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds and imidazole π–π stacking interactions to form a three‐dimensional supramolecular array.  相似文献

The intermolecular interactions existing at three different sites between phenylacetylene and LiX (X = OH, NH2, F, Cl, Br, CN, NC) have been investigated by means of second‐order Møller?Plesset perturbation theory (MP2) calculations and quantum theory of “atoms in molecules” (QTAIM) studies. At each site, the lithium‐bonding interactions with electron‐withdrawing groups (? F, ? Cl, ? Br, ? CN, ? NC) were found to be stronger than those with electron‐donating groups (? OH and ? NH2). Molecular graphs of C6H5C?CH···LiF and πC6H5C?CH···LiF show the same connectional positions, and the electron densities at the lithium bond critical points (BCPs) of the πC6H5C?CH···LiF complexes are distinctly higher than those of the σC6H5C?CH···LiF complexes, indicating that the intermolecular interactions in the C6H5C?CH···LiX complexes can be mainly attributed to the π‐type interaction. QTAIM studies have shown that these lithium‐bond interactions display the characteristics of “closed‐shell” noncovalent interactions, and the molecular formation density difference indicates that electron transfer plays an important role in the formation of the lithium bond. For each site, linear relationships have been found between the topological properties at the BCP (the electron density ρb, its Laplacian ?2ρb, and the eigenvalue λ3 of the Hessian matrix) and the lithium bond length d(Li‐bond). The shorter the lithium bond length d(Li‐bond), the larger ρb, and the stronger the π···Li bond. The shorter d(Li‐bond), the larger ?2ρb, and the greater the electrostatic character of the π···Li bond. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

Within the quantum theory of atoms in molecules (QTAIM) framework we present a quantum topology phase diagram (QTPD) using the Poincaré–Hopf relation of a total of 17 all new QTAIM topologies of the cis‐ and trans‐isomers of the cyclic contryphan‐Sm peptide. The resultant QTPD consists of separate regions for the cis‐ and trans‐isomers that only overlap for topologies associated with the lowest energy minima of the cis‐ and trans‐isomers. We determine the QTAIM topologies of 29 “missing” isomers. A new, contracted formulation of the QTPD is presented, this contracted formulation includes the interamino acid bond critical points (BCPs) that link together the amino acid units, the disulphide bridge “pivot” BCP and side chain bonding interactions. The seven interamino acid BCPs linking the amino acid units coincide with the so‐called peptide backbone, the conventional qualitative approach to reduce the complexity of the peptide. We expand the interpretation of ellipticity to include the associated eigenvectors and find that higher values of the ellipticity ? are associated with a greater preference to conserve folding states. We quantify previous qualitative findings that suggested the disulfide bond is central to the folding behavior of the cyclic contryphan‐Sm peptide and why the cis‐isomer is the major form of the cyclic contryphan‐Sm peptide. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

In the title compound, [Mn(C5H3N2O4)2(H2O)2], the MnII atom lies on an inversion centre, is trans‐coordinated by two N,O‐bidentate 1H‐imidazole‐4,5‐dicarboxylate monoanionic ligands [Mn—O = 2.202 (3) Å and Mn—N = 2.201 (4) Å] and two water molecules [Mn—O = 2.197 (4) Å], and exhibits a distorted octahedral geometry, with adjacent cis angles of 76.45 (13), 86.09 (13) and 89.20 (13)°. The complete solid‐state structure can be described as a three‐dimensional supramolecular framework, stabilized by extensive hydrogen‐bonding interactions involving the coordinated water molecules, the carboxy O atoms and the protonated imidazole N atoms of the imidazole‐4,5‐dicarboxylate ligands.  相似文献

Three hybrid coordination networks that were constructed from ?‐Keggin polyoxometalate building units and imidazole‐based bridging ligands were prepared under hydrothermal conditions, that is, H[(Hbimb)2(bimb){Zn4PMoV8MoVI4O40}] ? 6 H2O ( 1 ), [Zn(Hbimbp)(bimbp)3{Zn4PMoV8MoVI4O40}] ? DMF ? 3.5 H2O ( 2 ), and H[Zn2(timb)2(bimba)2Cl2{Zn4PMoV8MoVI4O40}] ? 7 H2O ( 3 ) (bimb=1,4‐bis(1‐imidazolyl)benzene, bimbp=4,4′‐bis(imidazolyl)biphenyl, timb=1,3,5‐tris(1‐imidazolyl)benzene, bimba=3,5‐bis(1‐imidazolyl)benzenamine). All three compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The mixed valence of the Mo centers was analyzed by XPS spectroscopy and bond‐valence sum calculations. In all three compounds, the ?‐Keggin polyoxometalate (POM) units acted as nodes that were connected by rigid imidazole‐based bridging ligands to form hybrid coordination networks. In compound 1 , 1D zigzag chains extended to form a 3D supramolecular architecture through intermolecular hydrogen‐bonding interactions. Compound 2 consisted of 2D curved sheets, whilst compound 3 contained chiral 2D networks. Because of the intrinsic reducing properties of ?‐Keggin POM species, noble‐metal nanoparticles were loaded onto these POM‐based coordination networks. Thus, compounds 1 – 3 were successfully loaded with Ag nanoparticles, and the corresponding composite materials exhibited high catalytic activities for the reduction of 4‐nitrophenol.  相似文献

In the salt trimethoprimium ferrocenecarboxylate [systematic name: 2,4‐diamino‐5‐(3,4,5‐trimethoxybenzyl)pyrimidin‐1‐ium ferrocene‐1‐carboxylate], (C14H19N4O3)[Fe(C5H5)(C6H4O2)], (I), of the antibacterial compound trimethoprim, the carboxylate group interacts with the protonated aminopyrimidine group of trimethoprim via two N—H…O hydrogen bonds, generating a robust R 22(8) ring motif (heterosynthon). However, in the cocrystal 4‐amino‐5‐chloro‐2,6‐dimethylpyrimidine–ferrocene‐1‐carboxylic acid (1/1), [Fe(C5H5)(C6H5O2)]·C6H8ClN3, (II), the carboxyl–aminopyrimidine interaction [R 22(8) motif] is absent. The carboxyl group interacts with the pyrimidine ring via a single O—H…N hydrogen bond. The pyrimidine rings, however, form base pairs via a pair of N—H…N hydrogen bonds, generating an R 22(8) supramolecular homosynthon. In salt (I), the unsubstituted cyclopentadienyl ring is disordered over two positions, with a refined site‐occupation ratio of 0.573 (10):0.427 (10). In this study, the two five‐membered cyclopentadienyl (Cp) rings of ferrocene are in a staggered conformation, as is evident from the C…Cg Cg …C pseudo‐torsion angles, which are in the range 36.13–37.53° for (I) and 22.58–23.46° for (II). Regarding the Cp ring of the minor component in salt (I), the geometry of the ferrocene ring is in an eclipsed conformation, as is evident from the C…Cg Cg …C pseudo‐torsion angles, which are in the range 79.26–80.94°. Both crystal structures are further stabilized by weak π–π interactions.  相似文献
