This paper describes an optical system for high temperature creep strain measurement using quartz optical fiber, super long working distance microscope and digital image processing techniques. In this system one end of the quartz optical fibers is arrayed in a small area on the specimen surface and the other end is illuminated by a laser beam. The fiber ends on the specimen surface form the spot array. The small optical spots on the specimen are tracked by a CCD camera and the images are processed by digital image processing software. The diameter of each quartz fiber is 100 μm and the fibers can be arrayed in a small area. The local strains are determined by measuring the variety of relative distance between two spots. Experimental results of local creep strain on the welding joints of 15CrMo and HK40 at 850°C are obtained.  相似文献

We describe a method of obtaining optical sectioning with a standard wide-field fluorescence microscope. The method involves acquiring two images, one with nonuniform illumination (in our case, speckle) and another with uniform illumination (in our case, randomized speckle). An evaluation of the local contrast in the speckle-illumination image provides an optically sectioned image with low resolution. This is complemented with high-resolution information obtained from the uniform-illumination image. A fusion of both images leads to a full resolution image that is optically sectioned across all spatial frequencies. This hybrid illumination method is fast, robust, and generalizable to a variety of illumination and imaging configurations.  相似文献

This study investigates the possibility of using optical fibres with Bragg gratings for measurements in thermoplastic composites under fatigue loading conditions. Two setups are considered: (i) the fibre is embedded in the composite and (ii) the grating is bonded externally. Detailed information is given on the principle of optical fibre measurements and the data acquisition for both setups. To verify the strain derived from the optical fibre, the strain is compared with extensometer measurements. A special design of the blades of the extensometer is presented, since the standard blades suffer from a loss of grip on the surface of the specimen. The material used for this study was a carbon fibre-reinforced polyphenylene sulphide.It can be concluded for both setups that the optical fibre survives over half a million loading cycles, without de-bonding of the fibre. The advantage of the external fibre over the embedded one is that it can be mounted after manufacturing of the plate, but it has a higher risk of being damaged during working conditions of the component.  相似文献

为了尽可能的保持光学遥感图像的原始信息,提高图像的空间分辨率,有利于对图像的细节信息进行观察分析,本文提出了小波双三次插值方法,并将其应用于提高光学遥感图像空间分辨率.实验结果表明,该算法得到了比全小波插值和小波双线性插值更高的峰值信噪比和更好的图像细节效果,是一种适合提高光学遥感图像分辨率的有效算法.  相似文献

A quantum theory of parametric amplification and frequency conversion of an optical image in coupled nonlinear optical processes that include one parametric amplification process at high-frequency pumping and two up-conversion processes in the same pump field is developed. The field momentum operator that takes into account the diffraction and group velocities of the waves is used to derive the quantum equations related to the spatial dynamics of the images during the interaction. An optical scheme for the amplification and conversion of a close image is considered. The mean photon number density and signal-to-noise ratio are calculated in the fixed-pump-field approximation for images at various frequencies. It has been established that the signal-to-noise ratio decreases with increasing interaction length in the amplified image and increases in the images at the generated frequencies, tending to asymptotic values for all interacting waves. The variance of the difference of the numbers of photons is calculated for various pairs of frequencies. The quantum entanglement of the optical images formed in a high-frequency pump field is shown to be converted to higher frequencies during the generation of sum frequencies. Thus, two pairs of entangled optical images are produced in the process considered.  相似文献

烟羽断层重建质量受两方面条件限制:其中一个限制条件是遥感设备的时间分辨率。以往的研究多使用多轴差分吸收光谱仪(MAX-DOAS)进行CT重建,受采集数据速度的限制,重建图像的时间分辨率较低。另一个限制条件是,采集到的数据量有限,是典型的不完全角度重建。过去多使用代数迭代重建算法或统计迭代重建算法,重建图像受测量误差的影响比较大,分辨率较低且伪影较多。构造了基于成像差分吸收光谱技术(IDOAS)的光谱数据采集系统,与多轴差分吸收光谱仪构造的系统相比,数据采集的时间分辨率提高了160多倍,基本解决了时间分辨率的问题。提出了一种基于压缩感知理论和低三阶导数模型的烟羽断层重建算法--投影凸函数集低三阶导数法,简称为POCS-LTD。在投影的过程中,使用代数重建算法使重建图像符合投影方程;在全变分迭代的过程中使用了优化算法,将低三阶导数模型的全变分归一化值作为优化算法的迭代方向,前次迭代运算结果与本次投影运算的差值的模作为迭代步长。对重建算法进行了数值模拟,并以重建图像的接近度和一致性相关因子为指标,对重建结果进行了分析。数值模拟表明,算法具有良好的抗误差能力,与传统的低三阶导数法相比,本文提出的算法将重建接近度减小了80%以上。使用烟羽数据采集系统进行了外场实验,用POCS-LTD算法对外场实验的数据进行了烟羽重建,重建图像显示烟羽图像清晰,伪影得到了较好的抑制。介绍的烟羽断层数据采集系统和烟羽断层重建算法,提高了烟羽断层重建图像的时间分辨率,减少了重建图像的伪影,扩大了光谱测量技术的应用范围。  相似文献

A new technique that is independent of image contrast and robust to the presence of experimental noise is presented to analyze strains from high resolution electron microscopy (HREM) lattice images. This approach involves the analysis of the cumulative sum of deviations (CUSUM) in lattice-fringe spacings from a target value. The effects of surface roughness at an interface, and surface relaxation due to transmission electron microscope (TEM) sample preparation are discussed. The CUSUM method was applied to two simulated and two experimental HREM images of semiconductor strained layer structures in [ ] zone axis projection. The CUSUM technique was able to accurately reproduce the strain profiles from the simulated and experimental images in all cases studied except for the component of the strain in the slip direction (exx) of an edge dislocation in a simulated image. In this case, the strain field near the core appeared hemispherical rather than lobed as expected.  相似文献

 为了提高图像分辨率,从软件的角度出发,对低分辨率图像序列重建高分辨率图像的原理和算法实现开展了研究,提出从多个低分辨率图像序列中获取更高分辨率图像的方法。通过采用基于光流场的金字塔分层结构实现由粗到精的图像配准,获取了亚像素的运动估计。在采用多帧低分辨率图像进行亚像素级配准后,提出采用动态自适应确定正则化参数的方法,构造了简单的正则化代价函数,建立了低分辨率图像与高分辨率图像之间关系的重建模型,仿真实验结果表明该超分辨率重建算法水平和垂直方向上分辨率各增加一倍,与其他算法相比清晰度更高,计算时间不到传统POCS算法的一半。  相似文献

A three-dimensional (3D) resolution measure for the conventional optical microscope is introduced which overcomes the drawbacks of the classical 3D (axial) resolution limit. Formulated within the context of a parameter estimation problem and based on the Cramer-Rao lower bound, this 3D resolution measure indicates the accuracy with which a given distance between two objects in 3D space can be determined from the acquired image. It predicts that, given enough photons from the objects of interest, arbitrarily small distances of separation can be estimated with prespecified accuracy. Using simulated images of point source pairs, we show that the maximum likelihood estimator is capable of attaining the accuracy predicted by the resolution measure. We also demonstrate how different factors, such as extraneous noise sources and the spatial orientation of the imaged object pair, can affect the accuracy with which a given distance of separation can be determined.  相似文献

The progression of OA in patients may be followed by measuring the volume of articular cartilage from MR images. We attempted to determine the reproducibility of volume measurements of articular cartilage made from magnetic resonance images of the knees and the dependence of the reproducibility on image resolution and contrast-to-noise. A fat-suppressed 3D technique was used to generate four image sets with different image resolution. Each patient was imaged twice to obtain image pairs at each resolution. To assess the dependence of reproducibility on noise we generated six image sets for each patient by adding noise to the original images and repeating the comparison. On each image set, the femoral, tibial, and patellar cartilage were outlined by a combination of computer and manual methods, and the images were used to calculate the volume of each cartilage plate. Comparing the coefficient of variance between the volume measurements made from the two visits, the volume measurements made from images with the highest resolution (0.275 x 0.275 x 1.0 mm) had the highest reproducibility. The high resolution images of the tibia and femur had the least partial-volume averaging and, as a result, better defined the boundaries between cartilage and adjacent tissues. A different trend was evident for the patella. For studies of osteoarthritis therapies, we recommend using MR images with the highest possible in-plane spatial resolution to provide the most reproducible volume measurements of knee cartilage.  相似文献

The use of photonic crystal and negative refractive index materials is known to improve the resolution of optical microscopy and lithography devices down to the 80 nm level. Here we demonstrate that utilization of well-known digital image recovery techniques allows us to further improve the resolution of optical microscopy down to the 30 nm level. Our microscope is based on a flat dielectric mirror deposited onto an array of nanoholes in thin gold film. This two-dimensional photonic crystal mirror may have either a positive or negative effective refractive index as perceived by surface plasmon polartions in the visible frequency range. This study extends the use of holographic interferometry to measure the nanoscale out-of-plane displacement with high surface resolution. It is noted that if the deformation is less than half of the optical wavelength, it is hard to find an obvious fringe pattern. Under such a situation, in general, the phase shift method is used. However, it needs to take more than 3 images for phase shifting and phase reconstruction In this paper, a more simple hybrid method of gray-level and holographic interferometry is used to extract fringe skeletons, in which it just needs to take one or two images for the normal deformation measurement directly, even if there exists no obvious fringe pattern. The displacement field with high surface resolution can also be obtained. The proposed method yielded a theoretical precision of 0.15 nm for out-of-plane displacement with a monochromatic CCD camera of 10-bit gray scale (1024 gray scales) sensitivity and microscale surface resolution for millimeter scale object with 640×480 pixels image resolution by an He–Ne LASER (632.8 nm wavelength) light source. The gray-level method is proposed to calculate the non-obvious interferometry fringe by traditional holographic interferometry hologram, and the result showed that this method works for this purpose.  相似文献

A high resolution spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) system based on a thermal light source was presented. A novel normalized method was introduced to remove the background noise and the DC noise of the interference spectrum. A Gaussian spectral calibration procedure was performed to improve axial resolution and image quality before reconstructing OCT image. With the proposed method, the quality of the obtained images was greatly improved. Two-dimensional (2D) cross-sectional images with axial resolution of 1.2?μm were obtained. Furthermore, the film thickness of single-layer film sample was obtained. The experimental result demonstrates the SD-OCT system has potential for film thickness measurement and surface topography.  相似文献

We present a method to improve the resolution of digital holographic images based on angular multiplexing with incoherent beams from two orthogonal polarized components of natural light. Two incoherent subholograms are synchronously recorded by two pairs of incoherent object waves and reference waves with orthogonal polarization states, in which the object is illuminated by two incoherent beams from different directions. The increase in resolution is obtained through phase correction and superposition of two reconstructed object waves. Experimental results show that the resolution and quality of the reconstructed image can be effectively improved.  相似文献

The radiography method is developed for the investigation of ionizing radiation sources distribution on the sample surface by means of a two-dimensional image, produced in a photoemulsion or dielectric track detector. Its sensitivity is within a range of 10−2 - 10−7 g/mm2 and resolution from 0.01 to 100 μm. Statistical analysis and computer processing of the radiographic images have allowed us to solve the two main tasks of the method, namely, the determination the true distributions of ionizing radiation sources on the surface and the quantitative estimation of the local content of different chemical elements within a given accuracy.  相似文献

根据国际ISO10110-7的表面缺陷标准及惯性约束聚变(ICF)工程标准,提出了一种新颖的光学元件表面缺陷的光学显微散射成像及数字化评价系统,多束光纤冷光源呈环状分布并以一定角度斜入射到数毫米视场的被检表面,形成适合数字图像二值化处理的暗背景上的亮疵病图像。对X,Y两方向进行子孔径图像扫描成像,利用模板匹配原理对获得的子孔径图像进行拼接得到全孔径表面疵病图像信息。基于数学形态学建立了可用于大口径表面检测扫描的图像处理的模式识别软件体系,并应用二元光学制作了标准对比板,以获得疵病正确的评价依据。最终利用该变倍光学显微镜散射成像系统得到能分辨微米量级表面疵病的图像,其单个子孔径物方视场约为3 mm,对X,Y两方向进行5×5子孔径图像扫描成像,并给出了与标准比对的定量数据结果。实验结果表明,本系统完全可以实现光学元件表面缺陷的数字化评价。  相似文献

提出了一种基于局部光流约束的角点匹配算法。首先采用Harris算子获得当前帧和参考帧的角点,然后以角点的光流特征作为约束条件,根据两帧图像角点集的坐标分布,排除异常角点,完成角点的精确匹配,实现图像之间的高精度运动估计。通过对视频序列进行实验,采用差图法可主观地发现该运动估计算法的有效性;以峰值信噪比作为评价指标,发现原始视频序列的帧间峰值信噪比明显低于仿射视频序列的帧间峰值信噪比。前者的平均值为22.8072,后者的平均值为33.3854,从而客观地说明了该算法的有效性和稳定性。  相似文献

This paper shows that the dimension of internal structure of a component can be measured remotely to a resolution better than 5 μm by use of the combination of high resolution optical microscopy and image processing.A specialised high resolution, long working distance and diffraction limited lens was used to image within the component. A series of digital images were made to map spatially the interior of the component. An edge detector was then used to localise the specific location of features in order that an accurate internal measurement could be made. A visualisation of the internal surface finish was also achieved.  相似文献

Near-field optical probing, or nanoprobing, achieves spatial resolution that surpasses the diffraction limit of light and makes possible the luminescence imaging and spectroscopy of single quantum dots in dense arrays of dots. We use optical nanoprobing to study self-organized InGaAs quantum dots grown on (3 1 1)B oriented GaAs substrates. Here, we emphasize a new feature of nanoprobing: pressure-induced strain modulation near the surface. Operating in near-field optical excitation–collection mode, the probe makes contact with the surface and exerts direct pressure whose main effect is a compressive uniaxial strain under the probe. By adjusting the applied pressure, we modulate the local strain environment in and around a quantum dot, but still preserve the capability to capture its near-field luminescence. Nanoprobe pressure effects modify the confinement potential and radiative emission of single quantum dots, and the coupling strength between dots. This opens new possibilities for the study and control of the optical and electronic properties of single- and coupled-quantum dots.  相似文献

为了寻求应用于复杂地物条件下异源景象匹配的算法,使其满足尺度和旋转不变性,受视觉成像系统的启发,利用初始简图可以表征图像大部分信息的特点,提出了一种新的基于线段对的异源图像匹配算法。首先,提取并筛选图像中能够表征图像信息的线段;然后,利用线段自身信息及线段的相对位置关系构建线段对特征;接着,通过线段对之间的相似性对图像进行粗匹配;最后,利用线段之间的拓扑关系进行精匹配。实验表明,本文方法对具有旋转、缩放和平移变换的异源图像的匹配正确率达到了75%以上,运算时间是传统匹配算法的1/5左右,基本满足了异源景象匹配应用对算法实时性和准确性的要求。  相似文献
