Sea-ice clutter was measured using a millimeter wave radar with frequency of 34.86GHz and pulse length of 30ns. To determine the sea-ice clutter amplitude statistics, we investigated the log-normal, Weibull, log-Weibull and K-distributions using the Akaike Information Criterion (AIC), which is more rigorous fit of the distribution to the data than the least-squares method. It is shown that the amplitude of sea-ice clutter obeys almost a log-Weibull distribution.  相似文献

Sea-ice clutter was measured using a millimeter wave radar (MWR) with a frequency of 34.86 GHz, the beamwidth of 0.25° and pulsewidth of 30 ns which is located at Mombetsu in Hokkaido, Japan. In this paper, targets are an iron tower and a breakwater which are embedded in sea-ice clutter. We have found that the sea-ice clutter amplitude obeys the Weibull distribution. As a result of this, we obtained target to clutter ratio improvement of 22.6, 17.2 dB for an iron tower and a breakwater, respectively, by considering the modified LOG/CFAR system which is the transformation from Weibull to Rayleigh distribution.  相似文献

Sea clutter was measured using a millimeter wave radar with a frequency of 34.86GHz and pulse length of 30ns. A car carrier ship target was embedded in sea clutter. It has been discovered that target pulse-to-pulse fluctuations obey a Weibull distribution and sea clutter obey a Rayleigh distribution. We obtained target to clutter ratio improvement of 23.8dB by applying the cell average LOG/CFAR techniques. The computer simulation has been made to evaluate the detection probability and the false alarm probability. The simulation result was in good agreement with the observed data.  相似文献

By analyzing the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) seismic catalog for different tectonic settings, we have found that the probability distributions of time intervals between successive earthquakes-interoccurrence times-can be described by the superposition of the Weibull distribution and the log-Weibull distribution. In particular, the distribution of large earthquakes obeys the Weibull distribution with the exponent α1<1, indicating the fact that the sequence of large earthquakes is not a Poisson process. It is found that the ratio of the Weibull distribution to the probability distribution of the interoccurrence time gradually increases with increase in the threshold of magnitude. Our results infer that Weibull statistics and log-Weibull statistics coexist in the interoccurrence time statistics, and that the change of the distribution is considered as the change of the dominant distribution. In this case, the dominant distribution changes from the log-Weibull distribution to the Weibull distribution, allowing us to reinforce the view that the interoccurrence time exhibits the transition from the Weibull regime to the log-Weibull regime.  相似文献

为实现混响室中威布尔分布杂波的有效模拟,营造逼真的雷达电磁环境,基于广义平稳非相关散射电磁环境下混响室信道衰落特性,通过控制幅度调制信号对衰落系数进行补偿,提出一种基于时域波形设计的混响室地杂波模拟方法。通过调节输入信号序列中大、小幅度脉冲比例,改变混响室传统输入信号的零均值幅度特性,以实测地杂波统计特性为参考,最终得到与实测数据统计特性参数一致的混响室杂波电磁环境。用最大似然估计和KS检验法对实验数据作参数估计和假设检验,实测地杂波数据拟合于标准威布尔模型,混响室实验数据拟合于实测地杂波幅度统计模型,从而实现了实测地杂波起伏特性的混响室有效模拟。  相似文献

We discuss the pertinency of the log-Weibull model in the statistical understanding of energy release for earthquake magnitude data. This model has many interesting features, the most remarkable of which being: depending on the value of the deformation index of the source, it may present tails ranging from moderately heavy () to very heavy (with tail index zero as ), through hyperbolic (power law) for the critical value . Under this model (for which a precise tail study is supplied), the occurrence of power laws appears as a critical phenomenon: this reinforces the current trend predicting that some departure from the ideal (strictly scaling fractal) model may be ubiquitous. Having applied an affine transformation in the logarithmic scale, quantile estimation and the Kolmogorov-Smirnov statistics are used to fit the log-Weibull distribution to a realization of an iid sample. This enables to decide whether the upper tail of the phenomenon under study is light/heavy/very heavy. A comparative study of recorded French and Japanese earthquake magnitudes suggests that they exhibit comparable tail behaviour, albeit with different centrality and dispersion parameters. In analyzing synthetic earthquake catalogs created by a two-dimensional Burridge-Knopoff model, we have found that a probability distribution of the interoccurrence times, the time intervals between successive events, can be described clearly by the superposition of the Weibull distribution and the log-Weibull distribution. In addition, the interoccurrence time statistics depend on frictional properties and stiffness of a fault and exhibit the Weibull-log Weibull transition, which states that the distribution function changes from the log-Weibull regime to the Weibull regime when the threshold of magnitude is increased. We reinforce a new insight into this model; the model can be recognized as a mechanical model providing a framework of the Weibull-log Weibull transition.  相似文献

提出了基于扩展信源熵值理论的超宽带穿墙成像雷达墙体强杂波抑制方法. 首先将回波信号离散化, 计算离散信源的概率空间并对该离散信源进行扩展, 计算得到扩展后含有墙体强杂波和目标回波的新信源的熵值. 然后根据墙体杂波熵值与目标信号熵值的差异设定门限, 自适应选取最佳门限调节因子, 对回波信号进行杂波抑制处理. 经过墙体强杂波抑制处理后, 利用后向投影方法对目标进行成像. 以基于时域有限差分方法(Finite Difference-Time Domain, FDTD) 的仿真软件GprMax2D/3D所获得的穿墙雷达数据进行仿真实验, 分别通过基于信源熵值的方法与本文所提方法来抑制墙体强杂波并成像, 通过对比结果可知, 前者的目标-杂波比增量为15.51 dB, 后者的目标-杂波比增量为19.74 dB. 因此, 本文所提方法能够在相同测量方式下得到更为精确的成像, 而且可以在保证成像效果的前提下大大减少天线扫描次数.  相似文献

针对非均匀混响中进行恒虚警(CFAR)检测所需的背景功率估计问题,通过对非均匀混响进行统计建模分析,提出一种非均匀混响功率自适应估计方法。所提方法基于排序统计、功率分类等处理,对混响数据服从的统计模型进行判别,根据均匀混响、参杂强干扰混响、混响边缘等具有不同特性的混响成分,选择不同的处理方式进行功率估计。进一步将所提出的混响功率估计方法应用于CFAR检测中,获得一种新的CFAR检测器。仿真和实测混响数据的处理结果表明,提出的混响功率估计方法可以对强干扰和混响边缘等非均匀混响背景进行有效判别和功率估计,提出的CFAR检测器有效提高了非均匀混响背景中的目标检测性能。   相似文献

A modified GIT model for describing the variational trend of mean clutter reflectivity as a function of wind speed is proposed. It uses two slope adjustment factors and two critical wind-speed factors to define and adjust the increasing slope of reflectivity with respect to wind speed. In addition, it uses a constant factor to compensate the overall amplitude of clutter reflectivity. The performance of the modified GIT model has been verified on the basis of the L-band low-grazing-angle radar sea clutter data. The results are in good agreement with the experimental data, indicating that the model is more effective in predicting the wind-speed behavior of clutter reflectivity than the conventional GIT model, especially for lower and higher wind speeds. We believe that the proposed model can provide deeper insights into the relationship between radar sea clutter reflectivity and sea state conditions.  相似文献

针对海杂波背景下海情对小目标检测的严重影响, 本文研究了实测海杂波在分数阶Fourier变换(FRFT)域的分形特征, 分别提出了单、高尺度下的分形检测方法. 由数学定义推得, FRFT 在不同阶数和尺度情况下, 不具有一致的自相似特性, 采用多重分形趋势波动分析法确定分形参数H(q), 分析了海杂波在不同海情、距离和极化条件下的分形特征. 在单尺度基础上结合FRFT的变阶优势, 提出了阶数自适应的小目标检测方法; 高尺度条件下, 比较了不同因素对海杂波FRFT域多重分形参数的影响. 结果表明:海杂波FRFT域可用变换阶数的方法检测到湮没在复杂海情中的小信号, 检测门限多数提高200%以上, 比采用时域信号提高26.3%. H(q) 在负高尺度上具有明显的多重分形特征差异, H(q)-q曲线满足反正切分布, 纯海杂波与含目标数据的拟合幅值比分别大于1.8(HH)和1.4(VV), 为海杂波背景小目标检测提供了判定依据.  相似文献

有源声呐分辨率的提高可以抑制混响,但也使声呐包络数据的统计分布偏离瑞利分布,而更接近拖尾较重的K分布。强散射体所带来的强混响的幅值一般较大,它们使统计分布拖尾更严重,表征K分布的形状参数也越小。强混响作为目标干扰,严重影响了背景功率估计的准确性,从而降低了目标检测的性能。本文基于模糊统计理论,首先提出了用于抑制强混响的模糊统计归一化处理方法;然后对强混响和模糊统计归一化处理如何影响声呐数据分布和CFAR(Constant false-alarm rate)目标检测性能进行了仿真、研究和分析,最后对基于模糊统计归一化处理的CFAR检测性能和传统CFAR检测性能进行了仿真比较。仿真结果表明强混响目标干扰能使K分布数据的形状参数变小,而模糊统计归一化处理可抑制强混响目标干扰,增大包络数据分布的形状参数,提高形状参数估计性能和CFAR检测性能。   相似文献

We introduce a technique of time series analysis, potential forecasting, which is based on dynamical propagation of the probability density of time series. We employ polynomial coefficients of the orthogonal approximation of the empirical probability distribution and extrapolate them in order to forecast the future probability distribution of data. The method is tested on artificial data, used for hindcasting observed climate data, and then applied to forecast Arctic sea-ice time series. The proposed methodology completes a framework for ‘potential analysis’ of tipping points which altogether serves anticipating, detecting and forecasting nonlinear changes including bifurcations using several independent techniques of time series analysis. Although being applied to climatological series in the present paper, the method is very general and can be used to forecast dynamics in time series of any origin.  相似文献

提出了一种新的基于数学形态学的红外图像序列中弱点状运动目标的非参数检测算法。采用数学形态学抑制背景杂波干扰和增强目标,用沿时间轴投影和二维空域搜索代替复杂的时空三维搜索形成组合帧,然后在每条可能的轨迹上将进行目标能量累加,实现了一种快速检测前跟踪(TBD)检测算法。仿真实验表明:在恒虚警概率条件下,该检测算法能高效地检测信噪比约为2的弱点状运动目标,检测性能对噪声分布不敏感,能精确地得到目标的即时位置和速度信息,适合于实时图像处理和目标探测,具有很高的实用价值。  相似文献

Resolution enhancement of active sonar can suppress the reverberation.While it also makes the envelope data distribution diverge from Rayleigh distribution to K-distribution.The stronger scattering speckles,the heavier of the K-distribution tails.The envelope amplitudes of these strong scattering speckles are usually very big.As the interfering target,the strong reverberation decreases the performances of the background power level estimation and the target detection.The fuzzy statistical normalization processing(FSNP) is introduced to suppress the strong reverberation firstly in this paper.Then how the strong reverberation and the FSNP affect the distribution of K-distributed sonar data is studied.The influence on the constant false alarm rate(CFAR) detection performance caused by the strong reverberation and the FSNP is also simulated and analyzed.Performance comparisons between the CFAR detector based on FSNP and the conventional CFAR detectors are carried out.The simulation results show that the strong reverberation can make the shape parameter of the interfering K-distributed data become smaller than that of the original K-distributed data.While the FSNP can suppress the strong reverberation,increase the shape parameter value,and improve the performance of the shape parameter estimator and the CFAR detector.  相似文献

Arctic sea-ice contains imperfections such as cracks, leads and pressure ridges that scatter flexural-gravity waves. Models for predicting scattering have been described in the literature, concentrating mainly on singular isolated features with simplified shapes or on arrays of such features. In reality ridges are seldom simple and leads are rarely entirely free of ice. Here we describe a model in which the scattering by a sheet of arbitrary thickness can be simulated. Linear wave theory and Green's functions are used to derive the governing equations for a numerical model of a two-dimensional (in the vertical) system. We examine wave scattering by random ice sheets, identifying trends in behavior as the wave period and the length, median thickness and variance of the sheet are changed. It has been suggested that wave scattering could be used to identify sea-ice thickness, a task which is difficult or expensive by other methods, and here we examine a technique by which this could potentially be achieved. However, a large data base is necessary for this to work and this may limit the practicality of the approach.  相似文献

The notion that a deterministic nonlinear dynamical system (with relatively few degrees of freedom) can display aperiodic behavior has a strong bearing on sea clutter characterization: random-looking sea clutter may be the outcome of a chaotic process. This new approach envisages deterministic rules for the underlying sea clutter dynamics, in contrast to the stochastic approach where sea clutter is viewed as a random process with a large number of degrees of freedom. In this paper, we demonstrate, convincingly for the first time, the chaotic dynamics of sea clutter. We say so on the basis of results obtained using radar data collected from a series of extensive and thorough experiments, which have been carried out with ground-truthed sea clutter data sets at three different sites. The study includes correlation dimension analysis (based on the maximum likelihood principle) and Lyapunov spectrum analysis. The Lyapunov (Kaplan-Yorke) dimension, which is a byproduct of Lyapunov spectrum analysis, shows that it is indeed a good estimator of the correlation dimension. The Lyapunov spectrum also reveals that sea clutter is produced by a coupled system of nonlinear differential equations of order five or six. (c) 1997 American Institute of Physics.  相似文献

基于李亚普诺夫稳定性理论, 严格证明了一类超混沌系统在间歇线性单向耦合下可以实现完全同步. 线性控制器通过一个开关函数来调节来实现‘停’和‘控’. 第一类开关函数由一个等幅度矩形波来控制, 控制器的打开和关闭选取不同的间隔周期(Ta, Tb); 第二类开关函数由一个等幅度方波来控制, 方波间隔周期记为T0; 首先通过构造指数类型的李亚普诺夫论证了两类开关函数调制下两个超混沌 系统在单向线性耦合下实现同步的可行性问题. 为了定量分析控制效果, 定义了一定周期内控制器的平均能耗. 在数值计算中, 对第一类矩形波函数情形则计算了二参数空间(Ta, Tb)下响应系统的最大李亚普诺夫指数分布, 同步区域/非同步区域分布, 控制器平均能耗分布, 确认在恰当的间隔周期(Ta, Tb)和耦合强度下,两个超混沌系统可以达到完全同步. 对第二类方波函数情形则计算了耦合强度和方波间隔周期T0而参 数区域内响应系统最大条件李亚普诺夫指数分布, 给定耦合强度下选择不同间隔周期下误差函数演化和平均能耗, 研究结果表明: 在恰当的耦合强度和间隔周期T0下两个超混沌系统可以达到完全同步. 同时发现, 在恰当的耦合强度下控制器的平均能耗最小, 数值计算结果验证了理论分析的可靠性. 关键词: 超混沌 脉冲函数 指数型李函数 线性耦合  相似文献
