Copper (I) oxide nanocubes (Cu2O NCs) covered with cobalt oxide nanohexagons (Co3O4 NHs) were prepared through simple chemical method. Here, ascorbic acid is used as reducing and capping agent for the synthesis of nanocubes and nanohexagons. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy (EDX) and X‐ray diffraction spectroscopy (XRD) were employed to confirm the prepared nanocomposite. Cu2O NCs?Co3O4 NHs nanocomposite is drop cast on the glassy carbon electrode (GCE) for the fabrication of glucose sensor. The fabricated Cu2O NCs?Co3O4 NHs/GCE exhibited a better electrocatalytic activity towards the determination of glucose than that of individually fabricated Cu2O NCs and Co3O4 NHs modified GCE. Our finding exhibited a wide linear range from 1 μM to 5330 μM with LOD of 0.63 towards glucose. In addition, the sensor attained appreciable stability, repeatability and reproducibility. Practicality of the sensor was demonstrated in human serum samples. The main advantages of the fabricated sensor are simple, biocompatible, cost effective, fast response and highly stable electrode surface.  相似文献

In this present scenario, for the first time, we propose a facile and simple wet chemical approach for the fabrication of two‐dimensional (2D) cerium tungstate (CeW2O9;CeW) nanosheets and evaluated as an electrochemical sensor for the detection of nitrite ions. The successful formation of CeW2O9 nanosheets was confirmed by various physicochemical techniques such as X‐ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, Raman, Scanning electron microscope, Transmission electron microscope and Energy dispersive X‐ray studies. The electrochemical properties of the CeW nanosheets were studied by using cyclic voltammograms (CV) and chronoamperometric techniques. As an electrochemical sensor, the CeW nanosheets modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) showed superior electrocatalytic activity in the oxidation of nitrite in terms of higher anodic peak current and lower oxidation potential when compared with unmodified GCE. CeW nanosheets based electrochemical sensor has been fabricated which detect nitrite in wide linear response range, good sensitivity and very low detection limit of 0.02–986 μM, 2.85 μA μM−1 cm−2 and 8 nM, respectively. Moreover, the CeW nanosheets modified GCE exhibited excellent selectivity even in the presence of common metal ions and biologically co‐interfering compounds. For the practical viability of the prepared amperometric sensor has been utilized in various water samples such as tap, lake and drinking water and the obtained recoveries are appreciable.  相似文献

Ag/MnO2/GO nanocomposites were synthesized via the method of gas/liquid interface based on silver mirror reaction, and a non‐enzymatic H2O2 sensor was fabricated through immobilizing Ag/MnO2/GO nanocomposites on GCE. The composition and morphology of the nanocomposites were studied by energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy (EDS), X‐ray diffraction (XRD), X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Electrochemical investigation indicated that it exhibited a favorable performance for the H2O2 detection. Its linear detection range was from 3 μM to 7 mM with a correlation coefficient of 0.9960; the sensitivity was 105.40 μA mM?1 cm?2 and the detection limit was estimated to be 0.7 μM at a signal‐to‐noise ratio of 3.  相似文献

A novel hierarchically nanoporous carbon (NPC) derived from Al‐based porous coordination polymer is prepared by two‐step carbonization method for immobilization of the Co3O4 in the application of the nonenzymatic biofuel cells and biosensors. The structure and morphology are characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), high‐resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), and X‐ray diffraction (XRD). Brunauer‐Emmett‐Teller (BET) is to characterize the porous nature of the NPC, and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) is to characterize the composition of Co3O4@nanoporous carbon (Co3O4@NPC). Without collapse in the high carbonization temperature (above 1600 °C), the NPC maintains the nanoporous structure and high specific surface area of 1551.2 m2 g−1. In addition, the NPC is composited with Co3O4 by hydrothermal method to form the Co3O4@NPC. When tested as the nonenzymatic electrocatalyst for glucose oxidation reaction (GOR), the Co3O4@NPC exhibits higher response to glucose, in which the current shifts up by 64 %, than pure Co3O4 in 0.1 M KOH. The limit of detection is 0.005 mM (S/N=3) and response time is within 3 s. The detection range can be divided into two sections of 0.02–1.4 mM and 1.4–10.7 mM with the sensitivity of 249.1 μA mM−1 cm−2 and 66.6 μA mM−1 cm−2, respectively. A glucose fuel cell is constructed with the Co3O4@NPC as the anode and Pt/C catalyst as the cathode. The open‐circuit potential of the nonenzymatic glucose/O2 fuel cell was 0.68 V, with a maximum power density of 0.52 mW cm−2 at 0.27 V. This work may contribute to exploring other nanoporous carbons for application in glucose fuel cells and biosensors.  相似文献

In this study, we introduce a very sensitive and selective method for the differential pulse anodic stripping determination of Sb(III) ion on the over‐oxidized poly(phenol red) modified glassy carbon electrode (PPhRedox/GCE) in 0.1 mol L‐1 HCl medium. The formation of both poly(phenol red) and over‐oxidized poly(phenol red) film on the electrode surfaces were characterized by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy techniques. An anodic stripping peak of Sb(III) was observed at 0.015 V on the PPhRedox/GCE. Higher anodic stripping peak current of Sb(III) was obtained at PPhRedox/GCE compared with both bare GCE and poly(phenol red) film modified GCE (PPhRed/GCE). The calibration graph consisted of two linear segments of 0.044 ‐ 1.218 μg L−1 and 3.40 – 18.26 μg L−1 with a detection limit of 0.0075 μg L−1. The proposed over‐oxidized polymer film modified electrode was applied successfully for the analysis of antimony in different spiked water samples. Spiked recoveries for water samples were obtained in the range of 93.0–103.0%. The accuracy of the method was also verified through the analysis of standard reference materials (SCP SCIENCE‐EnviroMAT™ EP−L‐2).  相似文献

A novel and sensitive method for the determination of aflatoxin B1 (AFA−B1) in ground paprika using a methyltrioctylammonium chloride ionic liquid (IL), iron oxide nanorods (Fe3O4 nanorods) and reduced graphene oxide (RGO) fabricated glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was developed. The synthesized nanoparticles, nanocomposites and modified electrode surfaces were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA/DSC) and x-ray diffraction (XRD) analyses. Moreover, the electrochemical performance of the developed sensor was determined by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The obtained results demonstrate that the sensitivity of AFA−B1 is significantly enhanced on RGO-Fe3O4 nanorods-IL-GCE in comparison with bare GCE, RGO-GCE and RGO-Fe3O4 nanorods-GCE. The redox peak currents of AFA−B1 exhibited good linear relationship with its concentration in the range from 0.02 to 0.33 ng mL−1 with detection limit of (LOD) 0.03 ng mL−1 and limit of quantification (LOQ) 0.36 ng mL−1 respectively (S/N=3). In addition, the fabricated electrode showed good stability and reproducibility. The proposed technique was effectively applied to identify the AFA−B1 in real ground paprika samples with acceptable results.  相似文献

A glassy carbon electrode (GCE) modified with a copper‐based metal‐organic framework (MOF) [HKUST‐1, HKUST‐1 = Cu3(BTC)2 (BTC = 1,3,5‐benzenetricarboxylicacid)] was developed as a highly sensitive and simple electrochemical sensor for the determination of dopamine (DA). The MOF was prepared by a hydrothermal process, and the morphology and crystal phase of the MOF were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X‐ray diffraction (XRD), respectively. Meanwhile, the electrochemical performance was investigated using cyclic voltammetry (CV), differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Under optimized conditions, the modified electrode showed excellent electrocatalytic activity and high selectivity toward DA. The linear response range was from 5.0 × 10−7 to 1.0 × 10−4 M and the detection limit was as low as 1.5 × 10−7 M. Moreover, the electrochemical sensor was used to detect DA in real samples with excellent results. MOF‐based sensors hold great promise for routine sensing applications in the field of electrochemical sensing.  相似文献

A facile chemical solution deposition via two‐step spin coating technique was used to fabricate nano‐particulate novel Sn doped Co3O4 thin film for glucose sensor and fuel cell applications. Substitution of Sn into Co3O4 host lattice lead to a remarkable increase in the electrocatalytic activity of the Co3O4 electrode material. Film thickness played a significant role in enhancing the charge transferability of the electrode as was observed from electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The best sensor exhibited two wide linear response ranges (2 μM up to ∼0.5 mM and 0.6 mM up to ∼5.5 mM respectively) with sensitivities of 921 and 265 μA cm−2 mM−1 respectively and low limit of detection of 100 nM (S/N=3). The sensor was very selective towards glucose in the presence of various interference and showed long term stability. Moreover, the developed thin film modified electrode could generate one electron current in nonenzymatic fuel cell setup at room temperature.  相似文献

Glassy carbon electrode (GCE) modified with L‐cysteine and gold nanoparticles‐reduced graphene oxide (AuNPs‐RGO) composite was fabricated as a novel electrochemical sensor for the determination of Cu2+. The AuNPs‐RGO composite was formed on GCE surface by electrodeposition. The L‐cysteine was decorated on AuNPs by self‐assembly. Physicochemical and electrochemical properties of L‐cysteine/AuNPs‐RGO/GCE were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction, cyclic voltammetry and adsorptive stripping voltammetry. The results validated that the prepared electrode had many attractive features, such as large electroactive area, good electrical conductivity and high sensitivity. Experimental conditions, including electrodeposition cycle, self‐assembly time, electrolyte pH and preconcentration time were studied and optimized. Stripping signals obtained from L‐cysteine/AuNPs‐RGO/GCE exhibited good linear relationship with Cu2+ concentrations in the range from 2 to 60 μg L−1, with a detection limit of 0.037 μg L−1. Finally, the prepared electrode was applied for the determination of Cu2+ in soil samples, and the results were in agreement with those obtained by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry.  相似文献

Herein, co-electrodeposition of AuNPs and ERGO onto GCE was conducted to prepare the modified electrode, GCE/AuNPs-ERGO. The poly(indole-5-carboxylic acid) (P(In-5-COOH) was then coated onto the GCE/AuNPs-ERGO with the help of electropolymerization. FT-IR, FE-SEM and EDX, and XRD techniques were employed to characterize the prepared nanocomposite. The nanocomposite modified electrode (GCE/AuNPs-ERGO/P(In-5-COOH)) was examined for the electrochemical reduction of H2O2 using chronoamperometry. A high reduction current for H2O2 was observed due to the synergistic effect between AuNPs-ERGO and P(In-5-COOH). The proposed sensor demonstrated a wide linear range of 0.025–750 μmol L−1, with a LOD of 0.008 μmol L−1 at −0.4 V. Furthermore, the developed sensor was applied for the detection of H2O2 in fetal bovine serum and urine samples.  相似文献

Co3O4/graphene oxide (GO) nanocomposites were successfully prepared by a depositing‐decomposition method. The as‐prepared samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Raman spectroscopy. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) was used to evaluate the electrochemical response of a glass carbon electrode (GCE) modified with Co3O4/GO nanocomposite towards glucose. Compared with the Co3O4/GCE, the Co3O4/GO/GCE exihibits higher electrocatalytic activity due to the synergistic effects of electrocatalytic ability of Co3O4 and large surface of GO. The Co3O4/GO/GCE was applied for glucose detection in alkaline solution. The linear current response range of glucose on Co3O4/GO/GCE covered the range from 9 × 10?5 to 6.03 × 10?3 M, with a detection limit of 5.2 × 10?7 M (S/N = 3).  相似文献

A novel non‐enzymatic sensor based on Ag/MnOOH nanocomposites was developed for the detection of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). The H2O2 sensor was fabricated by immobilizing Ag/MnOOH nanocomposites on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE). The morphology and composition of the sensor surface were characterized using scanning electron microscopy, energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy and X‐ray diffraction spectroscopy. The electrochemical investigation of the sensor indicates that it possesses an excellent electrocatalytic property for H2O2, and could detect H2O2 in a linear range from 5.0 µM to 12.8 mM with a detection limit of 1.5 µM at a signal‐to‐noise ratio of 3, a response time of 2 s and a sensitivity of 32.57 µA mM?1 cm?2. Additionally, the sensor exhibits good anti‐interference. The good analytical performance, low cost and straightforward preparation method made this novel electrode material promising for the development of effective non‐enzymatic H2O2 sensor.  相似文献

In present work, reduced graphene oxide nanosheets (rGO) decorated with trimetallic three‐dimensional (3D) Pt−Pd−Co porous nanostructures was fabricated on glassy carbon electrode (Pt−Pd−Co/rGO/GCE). First, GO suspension was drop‐casted on the electrode surface, then GO film reduction was carried out by cycling the potential in negative direction to form the rGO film modified GCE (rGO/GCE). Then, electrodeposition of the cobalt nanoparticles (CoNPs) as sacrificial seeds was performed onto the rGO/GCE by using cyclic voltammetry. Afterward, Pt−Pd−Co 3D porous nanostructures fabrication occurs through galvanic replacement (GR) method based on a spontaneous redox process between PtCl2, PdCl2, and CoNPs. The morphology and structure of the Pt−Pd−Co/rGO porous nanostructure film was characterized by scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy and X‐ray diffraction method. The performance of the prepared electrode was investigated by various electrochemical methods including, cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The electrocatalytic activity of the as‐prepared modified electrode with high surface areas was evaluated in anodic oxidation of ethylene glycol. The study on electrocatalytic performances revealed that, in comparison to various metal combinations in modified electrodes, trimetallic Pt−Pd−Co/rGO/GCE exhibit a lower onset potential, significantly higher peak current density, high durability and stability for the anodic oxidation of ethylene glycol. The excellent performances are attributed to the rGO as catalysts support and resulting synergistic effects of the trimetallic and appropriate characteristics of the resulted 3D porous nanostructures. Moreover, the influence of various concentrations of ethylene glycol, the potential scan rate and switching potential on the electrode reaction, in addition, long‐term stability have been studied by chronoamperometric and cyclic voltammetric methods.  相似文献

A copper nano particles and cerium (IV) oxide modified carbon nanotube based composite on glassy carbon electrode (Cu−CeO2/MWCNT/GCE) was fabricated for simultaneous determination of guanine and adenine. The surface morphology, chemistry and conductance of the prepared electrodes were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersion X‐ray (EDX), X‐Ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The Cu−CeO2/MWCNT/GCE improved electrochemical behaviour of guanine and adenine compared to other electrodes. The modified electrode was also used for individual and simultaneous determination of guanine and adenine. Under optimized conditions, the calibration curves were obtained linearly in the range of 0.20 to 6.00 μM for the guanine and 0.10 to 8.0 μM for the adenine by differential pulse voltammetry. The limits of detection of guanine and adenine were calculated as 0.128 and 0.062 μM, respectively. Interferences studies were also performed in the presence of inorganic and organic compounds. Moreover, the determination of guanine and adenine contents were carried out in a calf thymus DNA sample by the developed method with satisfactory results.  相似文献

The mixed‐valent nickel hexacyanoferrate (NiHCF) and poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) hybrid film (NiHCF‐PEDOT) was prepared on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) by multiple scan cyclic voltammetry. The films were characterized using atomic force microscopy, field emission scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (AC impedance). The advantages of these films were demonstrated for the detection of ascorbic acid (AA) using cyclic voltammetry and amperometric techniques. The electrocatalytic oxidation of AA at different electrode surfaces, such as the bare GCE, the NiHCF/GCE, and the NiHCF‐PEDOT/GCE modified electrodes, was determined in phosphate buffer solution (pH 7). The AA electrochemical sensor exhibited a linear response from 5×10−6 to 1.5×10−4 M (R2=0.9973) and from 1.55×10−4 to 3×10−4 M (R2=0.9983), detection limit=1×10−6 M, with a fast response time (3 s) for AA determination. In addition, the NiHCF‐PEDOT/GCE was advantageous in terms of its simple preparation, specificity, stability and reproducibility.  相似文献

This work reports on the development of sensors for the detection of hydrazine using glassy carbon electrodes (GCE) modified with phthalocyanines through click chemistry. Tetrakis(5‐hexyn‐oxy) cobalt(II) phthalocyanine (complex 2 ) and tetrakis(5‐hexyn‐oxy) nickel(II) phthalocyanine (complex 3 ) were employed as electrode modifiers for hydrazine detection. The GCE was first grafted via the in situ diazotization of a diazonium salt, rendering the GCE surface layered with azide groups. From this point, the 1, 3‐dipolar cycloaddition reaction, catalysed by a copper catalyst was utilised to “click” the phthalocyanines to the surface of the grafted GCE. The modified electrodes were characterized by scanning electrochemical microscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry. The electrografted CoP 2 ‐clicked‐GCE and NiP 3 ‐clicked‐GCE exhibited electrocatalytic activity towards the detection of hydrazine. The limit of detection (LoD) for the CoPc‐GCE was 6.09 μM, while the NiPc‐GCE had a LoD of 8.69 μM. The sensitivity was 51.32 μA mM−1 for the CoPc‐GCE and 111.2 μA mM−1 for the NiPc‐GCE.  相似文献

A cholesterol biosensor based on cholesterol oxidase‐poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride)‐carbon nanotubes‐nickel ferrite nanoparticles (ChOx‐PDDA‐CNTs‐NiFe2O4NPs) solution is easily fabricated by using a single dropping step on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) surface. This technique is an alternative way to reduce complexity, cost and time to produce the biosensor. The uniformly dispersed materials on the electrode surface enhance the catalytic reaction of cholesterol oxidase and electron transfer from the oxidation of hydrogen peroxide in the system. The nickel ferrite nanoparticles were synthesized by co‐precipitation and calcination at various temperatures. These nanoparticles were then characterized using field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE‐SEM), energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy (EDX), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), cyclic voltammetry (CV) and X‐ray diffraction (XRD). The synthesized material calcined at 700 °C was well defined and presented the octahedral metal stretching with cubic NiFe2O4NPs phase. In cyclic voltammetric study, the ChOx‐PDDA‐CNTs‐NiFe2O4NPs/GCE showed 0.43 s−1 charge transfer rate constant (K s), 7.79×10−6 cm2 s−1 diffusion coefficient value (D ), 0.13 mm2 electroactive surface area (A e) and 3.58×10−8 mol cm−2 surface concentration ( ). This modified electrode exhibits stability in term of percent relative standard deviation (%RSD=0.62 %, n=10), reproducibility (%RSD=0.81, n=10), high sensitivity (25.76 nA per mg L−1 cm−2), linearity from 1 to 5,000 mg L−1 (R2=0.998) with a low detection limit (0.50 mg L−1). Its Michaelis‐Menten constant (K m) was 0.14 mM with 0.92 μA maximum current (I max) and demonstrated good selectivity without the effects of electroactive species such as ascorbic acid, glucose and uric acid. The cholesterol biosensor was successfully applied to determine cholesterol levels in human blood samples, showing promise due to its simplicity and availability.  相似文献
