This paper describes a facile and effective method to synthesize gold nanoflowers (AuNFs) by a controllable electrodeposition method induced by a L-cysteamine (L-Cys) monolayer self-assembled on the surface of a gold electrode. The AuNFs/L-Cys/Au electrodes were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), cyclic voltammetry, and AC impedance spectroscopy methods. This obtained AuNFs/L-Cys/Au electrode exhibits excellent electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of dopamine (DA) due to the synergistic effect of AuNFs and a L-Cys monolayer. Differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) experiment results show that the oxidation peak of DA is separated from the oxidation peaks of ascorbic acid (AA) and uric acid (UA), which can be used to detect DA in the presence of AA and UA, and the results are satisfactory.  相似文献

The properties of graphite electrode (Gr) modified with poly(diallyl dimethyl ammonium chloride) (PDDA) for the detection of uric acid (UA) in the presence of dopamine (DA) and high concentration of ascorbic acid (AA) have been investigated by cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry and chronoamperometry. The polymer modified graphite electrode was prepared by a very simple method just by immersing the graphite electrode in PDDA solution for 20 minutes. The PDDA/Gr modified electrode displayed excellent electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of UA, DA and AA compared to that at the bare graphite electrode. The electrochemical oxidation signals of UA, DA and AA are well resolved into three distinct peaks with peak potential separations of 220 mV, 168 mV and 387 mV between AA‐DA, DA‐UA and AA‐UA respectively in cyclic voltammetry studies and the corresponding peak potential separations are 230 mV, 130 mV and 354 mV respectively in differential pulse voltammetry. The lowest detection limits obtained for UA, DA and AA were 1×10?7 M, 2×10?7 M and 800×10?9 M respectively. The PDDA/Gr electrode efficiently eliminated the interference of DA and a high concentration of AA in the determination of UA with good selectivity, sensitivity and reproducibility. The modified electrode was also successfully applied for simultaneous determination of UA, DA and AA in their ternary mixture.  相似文献

The electrochemistry of dopamine (DA) was studied by cyclic voltammetry at a glassy carbon electrode modified by a gel containing multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) and room-temperature ionic liquid of 1-octyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate (OMIMPF6). The thickness of gel on the surface of the electrode has to be controlled carefully because the charging currents increase with the modified layer being thicker. The anodic peaks of DA, ascorbic acid (AA) and uric acid (UA) in their mixture can be well separated since the peak potential of AA is shifted to more negative values, while that of UA is shifted to more positive values due to the modified electrode. At pH 7.08 the three peaks are separated ca. 0.20 and 0.15 V, respectively; hence DA can be determined in the presence of UA and more than 100 times excess of AA. Under optimum conditions linear calibration graphs were obtained over the DA concentration range 1.0 × 10−6 to 1.0 × 10−4 M. The detection limit of the current technique was found to be 1.0 × 10−7 M based on the signal-to-noise ratio of 3. The modified electrode has been successfully applied for the assay of DA in human blood serum. This work provides a simple and easy approach to selectively detect dopamine in the presence of ascorbic acid and uric acid.  相似文献

Graphite electrode is modified by casting multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) wrapped with polystyrene sulphonate (PSS) onto the surface of the bare graphite electrode. The modified electrode was characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The behavior of the modified electrode towards the oxidation of ascorbic acid (AA), dopamine (DA) and uric acid (UA) has been determined by cyclic voltammetry (CV), differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) and chronoamperometry (CA). The modified electrode showed better electrocatalytic activity towards AA, DA and UA compared to bare graphite electrode. The electrochemical oxidation signals of AA, DA and UA are well separated into three distinct peaks with peak potential difference of 222, 128 and 350 mV between AA-DA, DA-UA and AA-UA respectively in CV studies and corresponding peak potential separation in DPV are 228, 120 and 348 mV. This modified electrode was successfully used for simultaneous determination of AA, DA and UA in ternary mixture.  相似文献

In this work, a new nanomaterial of thiol functional ferrocene derivative (Fc-SH) stabilized Au NPs/carbon dots nanocomposite (Au/C NC) coupling with graphene modified glassy carbon electrode (Fc-S-Au/C NC/graphene/GCE) was fabricated to serve as a quadruplet detection platform for ultrasensitive and simultaneous determination of ascorbic acid (AA), dopamine (DA), uric acid (UA) and acetaminophen (AC). The Au/C NC was synthesized by adding HAuCl4 into carbon nanodots solution without using any additional reductant and stabilizing agent. Then the Fc-SH was utilized as the protective and capping agent to modify the Au/C NC. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), UV–Vis, Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), cyclic voltammetry (CV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) were adopted to characterize the morphology and electrochemical properties of the materials and the electrodes. The Fc-S-Au/C NC/graphene/GCE exhibits a synergistic catalytic and amplification effects towards oxidation of AA, DA, UA and AC owing to the existence of the nanomaterial and electron mediator. When simultaneous detection of AA, DA, UA and AC, the oxidation peak potentials of the four compounds on the electrode can be well separated and the peak currents were linearly dependent on their concentrations. The quadruplet detection platform shows excellent linear range and ultrasensitive response to the four components, the detection limits were estimated to be as low as 1.00, 0.05, 0.12 and 0.10 μM (S/N = 3), and the modified electrode exhibits excellent stability and reproducibility. The proposed electrode has been successfully applied to detect of these four analytes in real samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

We describe a chemical exfoliation method for the preparation of MoS2 nanosheets. The nanosheets were incorporated into poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) by electrodeposition on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) to form a nanocomposite. The modified GCE is shown to enable simultaneous determination of ascorbic acid (AA), dopamine (DA) and uric acid (UA). Due to the synergistic effect of MoS2 and PEDOT, this electrode displays better properties in terms of electrocatalytic oxidation of AA, DA and UA than pure PEDOT, which is illustrated by cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). Under optimum conditions and at pH 7.4, the respective sensitivities and best working potentials are as follows: AA: 1.20 A?mM?1?m?2, 30 mV; DA: 36.40 A?mM?1?m?2, 210 mV; UA: 105.17 A?mM?1?m?2, 350 mV. The calculated detection limits for AA, DA and UA are 5.83 μM, 0.52 μM and 0.95 μM, respectively. The modified electrode was applied to the detection of the three species in human urine samples and gave satisfactory results.
Graphical abstract MoS2 nanosheets were prepared by a facile chemical exfoliation method. In this work, molybdenum carbide (Mo2C) nanotubes were prepared via the self‐degradable template method and high‐temperature calcination, and then were successfully used to modify glassy carbon electrode (CGE) for the high‐sensitivity determination of dopamine (DA) without the inference of ascorbic acid(AA) and uric acid (UA). The surface morphology of Mo2C nanotubes has been investigated by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM). Owing to the enhanced electron transfer rate and high surface area of Mo2C, the modified electrode not only exhibits very excellent electrochemical performance for DA, but also has good analytical performance for DA in the mixture with AA and UA through differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), which can be applied for DA detection with wide linear range(0.005–50 μ mol L?1) and low detection limit 0.001 μ mol L?1. The modified electrode has been applied to detect DA in DA hydrochloride injection by using standard adding method with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A nafion covered carbon nanotubes-paste electrode modified with poly(m-ferrocenylaniline), (Nf/p(FcAni)-CNTsPE), provides a novel voltammetric sensor for the selective determination of dopamine (DA) and uric acid (UA) in the presence of ascorbic acid (AA). We studied the electrochemical activity of Nf/p(FcAni)-CNTsPE toward DA, UA, and AA by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). DA and UA anodic peaks appear at 0.30 and 0.45 V, respectively while an anodic peak for AA was not observed. DPV oxidation peak values are linearly dependent on DA concentration over the range 1–150 μM (r2 = 0.992), and on UA concentration over the range 5–250 μM (r2 = 0.997). DA and UA detection limits are estimated to be 0.21 and 0.58 μM, respectively. The modified electrode shows both good selectivity and reproducibility for the selective determination of DA and UA in real samples. Finally, the modified electrode was successfully applied for the determination of DA and UA in pharmaceutical or biological sample fluids.  相似文献

Graphene is chemically synthesized by solvothermal reduction of colloidal dispersions of graphite oxide. Graphite electrode is modified with functionalized-graphene for electrochemical applications. Electrochemical characterization of functionalized-graphene modified graphite electrode (FGGE) is carried out by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The behavior of FGGE towards ascorbic acid (AA), dopamine (DA) and uric acid (UA) has been investigated by CV, differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) and chronoamperommetry (CA). The FGGE showed excellent catalytic activity towards electrochemical oxidation of AA, DA and UA compared to that of the bare graphite electrode. The electrochemical oxidation signals of AA, DA and UA are well separated into three distinct peaks with peak potential separation of 193mv, 172mv and 264mV between AA-DA, DA-UA and AA-UA respectively in CV studies and the corresponding peak potential separations in DPV mode are 204mv, 141mv and 345mv. The FGGE is successfully used for the simultaneous detection of AA, DA and UA in their ternary mixture and DA in serum and pharmaceutical samples. The excellent electrocatalytic behavior of FGGE may lead to new applications in electrochemical analysis.  相似文献

A novel biosensor was fabricated by electrochemical deposition of platinum and gold nanoparticles (nanoAu) with l-Cysteine on glassy carbon electrode. It was found that the nanoAu particle size distribution range was (50-80 nm), and the platinum particle size range was (200-300 nm). The hybrid film could be produced on gold and transparent indium tin oxide electrodes for different kind of studies such as electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance (EQCM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) and electrochemical studies. The PtAu hybrid film was applied to the electro catalytic oxidation of dopamine (DA), ascorbic acid (AA) and uric acid (UA) at pH 4.0 using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) techniques. The modified electrode was quite effective not only to detect DA, AA and UA individually but also in simultaneous determination of these species in a mixture. The overlapping anodic peaks of DA, AA and UA were resolved into three well-defined voltammetric peaks in CV and DPV. The catalytic peak currents obtained from CV and DPV increased linearly with concentration. The relative standard deviation (% R.S.D., n = 10) for AA, DA and UA were less than 2.0% and DA, AA and UA can be determined in the ranges of 0.103-1.65, 0.024-0.384 and 0.021-0.336 mM, respectively. In addition, the modified electrode also shows good sensitivity, and stability. Satisfactory results were achieved for the determination of DA, AA and UA in dopamine injection solution, vitamin C tablets and human urine samples.  相似文献

Nanocrystalline graphite-like pyrolytic carbon film (PCF) electrode fabricated by a non-catalytic chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process was used for the simultaneous electrochemical sensing of ascorbic acid (AA), dopamine (DA), and uric acid (UA). The electrode was studied with respect to changes in electrocatalytic activity caused by a simple and fast electrochemical pretreatment. The anodized electrode exhibited excellent performance compared to many chemically modified electrodes in terms of detection limit, linear dynamic range, and sensitivity. Differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) was used for the simultaneous determination of ternary mixtures of DA, AA, and UA. Under optimum conditions, the detection limits were 2.9 μM for AA, 0.04 μM for DA, and 0.03 μM for UA with sensitivities of 0.078, 5.345, and 6.192 A M−1, respectively. The peak separation was 219 mV between AA and DA and 150 mV between DA and UA. No electrode fouling was observed and good reproducibility was obtained in all the experiments. The sensor was successfully applied for the assay of DA in an injectable drug and UA in human urine by using standard addition method.  相似文献

A modified electrode was fabricated by electrochemically deposition of Pt nanoparticles on the multiwall carbon nanotube covered glassy carbon electrode (Pt nanoparticles decorated MWCNT/GCE). A higher catalytic activity was obtained to electrocatalytic oxidation of ascorbic acid, dopamine, and uric acid due to the enhanced peak current and well‐defined peak separations compared with both, bare and MWCNT/GCE. The electrode surfaces were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X‐ray diffraction (XRD) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Individual and simultaneous determination of AA, DA, and UA were studied by differential pulse voltammetry. The detection limits were individually calculated for ascorbic acid, dopamine, and uric acid as being 1.9×10?5 M, 2.78×10?8 M, and 3.2×10?8 M, respectively. In simultaneous determination, LODs were calculated for AA, DA, and UA, as of 2×10?5 M, 4.83×10?8 M, and 3.5×10?7 M, respectively.  相似文献

The present study reports the simultaneous determination of ascorbic acid (AA), dopamine (DA) and uric acid (UA) in 0.20 M phosphate buffer solution (pH 5.0) using electropolymerized ultrathin film of 5-amino-2-mercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole (AMT) on glassy carbon (GC) electrode. The bare GC electrode does not separate the voltammetric signals of AA, DA and UA. However, electropolymerized AMT (p-AMT) modified GC electrode not only resolved the voltammetric signals of AA, DA and UA but also dramatically enhanced their oxidation peak currents when compared to bare GC electrode. The enhanced oxidation currents for AA, DA and UA at p-AMT modified electrode are due to the electrostatic interactions between them and the polymer film. Using amperometric method, we achieved the lowest detection of 75 nM AA, 40 nM DA and 60 nM UA at p-AMT modified electrode. The amperometric current was linearly increased from 200 nM to 0.80 mM for each AA, DA and UA and the lowest detection limit was found to be 0.92, 0.07 and 0.57 nM, respectively (S/N = 3). The practical application of the modified electrode was demonstrated by the determination of DA in dopamine hydrochloride injection.  相似文献

The electrochemical behaviors of uric acid (UA) at the penicillamine (Pen) self-assembled monolayers modified gold electrode (Pen/Au) have been studied. The Pen/Au electrode is demonstrated to promote the electrochemical response of UA by cyclic voltammetry (CV). The diffusion coefficient D of UA is 6.97 × 10−6 cm2 s−1. In differential pulse voltammetric (DPV) measurements, the Pen/Au electrode can separate the UA and ascorbic acid (AA) oxidation potentials by about 120 mV and can be used for the selective determination of UA in the presence of AA. The detection limit was 1 × 10−6 mol L−1. The modified electrode shows excellent sensitivity, good selectivity and antifouling properties.  相似文献

In this paper electropolymerization of a thin film of para‐phenylenediamine (PPD) is studied at glassy carbon electrode (GCE) in sulfuric acid media by cyclic voltammetry. The results showed that this polymer was conducting and had a reproducible redox couple in the potential region from 0.0 to 0.4 V in phosphate buffer solution. This modified GCE (p‐PPD‐GCE) was applied for simultaneous determination of ascorbic acid (AA), dopamine (DA) and uric acid (UA) using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The p‐PPD‐GCE in 0.1 M phosphate buffer solution (pH 5.0) separated the DPV signals of AA, DA and UA with sufficient potential differences between AA–DA and DA–UA and also enhanced their oxidation peak currents. The oxidation currents were increased from 2.0 to 2000.0 µM for AA, 10.0 to 1250.0 µM for DA and 50.0 to 1600.0 µM for UA. The detection limits were evaluated as 0.4, 1.0 and 2.5 µM for AA, DA and UA, respectively (S/N=3).

The gold electrode self-assembled with the homocysteine monolayer (Hcy/Au) is demonstrated to catalyze the electrochemical response of dopamine (DA) by cyclic voltammetry. A pair of well-defined redox waves was obtained and the calculated standard rate constant (ks) is 2.1×10−2 cm/s at the self-assembled electrode. The reduction peak of DA can be used to determine the concentration of DA in presence of ascorbic acid (AA) owing to the Hcy/Au also catalyzing the electrochemical oxidation of AA.  相似文献

Dopamine (DA) is a significant neurotransmitter in the central nervous system, coexisting with uric acid (UA) and ascorbic acid (AA). UA and AA are easily oxidizable compounds having potentials close to that of DA for electrochemical analysis, resulting in overlapping voltammetric response. In this work, a novel molecularly imprinted (MI) electrochemical sensor was proposed for selective determination of DA (in the presence of up to 80‐fold excess of UA and AA), relying on gold nanoparticles (Aunano)‐decorated glassy carbon (GC) electrode coated with poly(carbazole (Cz)‐co‐aniline (ANI)) copolymer film incorporating DA as template (DA imprinted‐GC/P(Cz‐co‐ANI)‐Aunano electrode, DA‐MIP‐Aunano electrode). The DA recognizing sensor electrode showed great electroactivity for analyte oxidation in 0.2 mol L?1 pH 7 phosphate buffer. Square wave voltammetry (SWV) was performed within 10?4–10?5 mol L?1 of DA, of which the oxidation peak potential was observed at 0.16 V. The limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ) were 2.0×10?6 and 6.7×10?6 mol L?1, respectively. Binary and ternary synthetic mixtures of DA‐UA, DA‐AA and DA‐UA‐AA yielded excellent recoveries for DA. Additionally, DA was quantitatively recovered from a real sample of bovine serum spiked with DA, and determined in concentrated dopamine injection solution. The developed SWV method was statistically validated against a literature potentiodynamic method using a caffeic acid modified‐GC electrode.  相似文献

In this paper, a silver doped poly(L ‐valine) (Ag‐PLV) modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was fabricated through electrochemical immobilization and was used to electrochemically detect uric acid (UA), dopamine (DA) and ascorbic acid (AA) by linear sweep voltammetry. In pH 4.0 PBS, at a scan rate of 100 mV/s, the modified electrode gave three separated oxidation peaks at 591 mV, 399 mV and 161 mV for UA, DA and AA, respectively. The peak potential differences were 238 mV and 192 mV. The electrochemical behaviors of them at the modified electrode were explored in detail with cyclic voltammetry. Under the optimum conditions, the linear ranges were 3.0×10?7 to 1.0×10?5 M for UA, 5.0×10?7 to 1.0×10?5 M for DA and 1.0×10?5 to 1.0×10?3 M for AA, respectively. The method was successfully applied for simultaneous determination of UA, DA and AA in human urine samples.  相似文献
