Nano-structured Li3V2(PO4)3/carbon composite (Li3V2(PO4)3/C) has been successfully prepared by incorporating the precursor solution into a highly mesoporous carbon with an expanded pore structure. X-ray diffraction analysis, scanning electron microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy were used to characterize the structure of the composites. Li3V2(PO4)3 had particle sizes of < 50 nm and was well dispersed in the carbon matrix. When cycled within a voltage range of 3 to 4.3 V, a Li3V2(PO4)3/C composite delivered a reversible capacity of 122 mA h g? 1 at a 1C rate and maintained a specific discharge capacity of 83 mA h g? 1 at a 32C rate. These results demonstrate that cathodes made from a nano-structured Li3V2(PO4)3 and mesoporous carbon composite material have great potential for use in high-power Li-ion batteries.  相似文献

In this work, a room temperature solid-state rechargeable sodium ion cell, consisting of a ceramic Na-β″-Al2O3 thin film as the electrolyte, a NaTi2(PO4)3 gel composite as the cathode and sodium metal as the anode, was developed for the first time. A dense Na-β″-Al2O3 thin film with a thickness of approximately 100 μm was obtained by non-toxic and hazard-free ceramic fabrication processes, including tape-casting and subsequent sintering. The solid-state sodium ion cell had a working window of 1.5–2.5 V upon charge-discharge processes and exhibited an extremely stable voltage plateau of approximately 2.1 V. A reversible capacity, based on the NaTi2(PO4)3 cathode, of 133 mAh g 1 was observed during the first cycle, which remained approximately 100 mAh g 1 after 50 cycles.  相似文献

Sulfone-based electrolytes have been investigated as electrolytes for lithium-ion cells using high-voltage positive electrodes, such as LiMn2O4 and LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 spinels, and Li4Ti5O12 spinel as negative electrode. In the presence of imide salt (LiTFSI) and ethyl methyl sulfone or tetramethyl sulfone (TMS) electrolytes, the Li4Ti5O12/LiMn2O4 cell exhibited a specific capacity of 80 mAh g?1 with an excellent capacity retention after 100 cycles. In a cell with high-voltage LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 positive electrode and 1 M LiPF6 in TMS as electrolyte, the capacity reached 110 mAh g?1 at the C/12 rate. When TMS was blended with ethyl methyl carbonate, the Li4Ti5O12/LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 cell delivered an initial capacity of 80 mAh g?1 and cycled fairly well for 1000 cycles under 2C rate. The exceptional electrochemical stability of the sulfone electrolytes and their compatibility with the Li4Ti5O12 safer and stable anode were the main reason behind the outstanding electrochemical performance observed with high-potential spinel cathode materials. These electrolytes could be promising alternative electrolytes for high-energy density battery applications such as plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles that require a long cycle life.  相似文献

A monoclinic lithium vanadium phosphate (Li3V2(PO4)3) and carbon composite thin film (LVP/C) is prepared via electrostatic spray deposition. The film is studied with X-ray diffraction, scanning and transmission electron microscopy and galvanostatic cell cycling. The LVP/C film is composed of carbon-coated Li3V2(PO4)3 nanoparticles (50 nm) that are well distributed in a carbon matrix. In the voltage range of 3.0–4.3 V, it exhibits a reversible capacity of 118 mA h g?1 and good capacity retention at the current rate of 1 C, while delivers 80 mA h g?1 at 24 C. These results suggest a practical strategy to develop new cathode materials for high power lithium-ion batteries.  相似文献

Lithium insertion into various iron vanadates has been investigated. Fe2V4O13 and Fe4(V2O7)3 · 3H2O have discharge capacities approaching 200 mAh g−1 above 2.0 V vs. Li+/Li. Although the potential profiles change significantly between the first and subsequent discharges, capacity retention is unexpectedly good. Other phases, structurally related to FeVO4, containing copper and/or sodium ions were also studied. One of these, β-Cu3Fe4(VO4)6, reversibly consumes almost 10 moles of electrons per formula unit (ca. 240 mAh g−1) between 3.6 and 2.0 V vs. Li+/Li, in a non-classical insertion process. It is proposed that both copper and vanadium are electrochemically active, whereas iron(III) reacts to form LiFeIIIO2. The capacity of the Cu3Fe4(VO4)6/Li system is nearly independent of cycling rate, stabilizing after a few cycles at 120–140 mAh g−1. Iron vanadates exhibit better capacities than their phosphate analogues, whereas the latter display more constant discharge potentials.  相似文献

A VO2 · 0.43H2O powder with a flaky particle morphology was synthesized via a hydrothermal reduction method. It was characterized by scanning electron microscopy, electron energy loss spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis. As an electrode material for rechargeable lithium batteries, it was used both as a cathode versus lithium anode and as an anode versus LiCoO2, LiFePO4 or LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 cathode. The VO2 · 0.43H2O electrode exhibits an extraordinary superiority with high capacity (160 mAh g?1), high energy efficiency (95%), excellent cyclability (142.5 mAh g?1 after 500 cycles) and rate capability (100 mAh g?1 at 10 C-rate).  相似文献

Room temperature ionic liquid (RTIL) was prepared on basis of N-methyl-N-butylpiperidinium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (PP14TFSI), which showed a wide electrochemical window (?0.1–5.2 V vs. Li+/Li) and is theoretically feasible as an electrolyte for batteries with metallic Li as anodes. The addition of vinylene carbonate (VC) improved the compatibility of PP14TFSI-based electrolyte towards lithium anodes and enhanced the formation of solid electrolyte interphase film to protect lithium anodes from corrosion. Accordingly, Li/LiFePO4 cells initially delivered a discharge capacity of about 127 mAh g?1 at a current density of 17 mA g?1 in the ionic liquid with the addition of VC and showed better cyclability than in the neat ionic liquid. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy disclosed that the addition of VC enhanced Li-ion diffusion and depressed interfacial resistance significantly.  相似文献

This paper reports the microwave-assisted synthesis of Co3O4 nanomaterials with different morphologies including nanoparticles, rod-like nanoclusters and macroporous platelets. The new macroporous platelet-like Co3O4 morphology was found to be the best suitable for reversible lithium storage properties. It displayed superior cycling performances than nanoparticles and rod-like nanoclusters. More interestingly, excellent high rate capabilities (811 mAh g?1 at 1780 mA g?1 and 746 mAh g?1 at 4450 mA g?1) were observed for macroporous Co3O4 platelet. The good electrochemical performance could be attributed to the unique macroporous platelet structure of Co3O4 materials.  相似文献

A LiMnPO4/C composite cathode was prepared by a combination of spray pyrolysis and wet ball milling. The cathode showed stable performance at various cutoff voltages up to 4.9 V. The cutoff voltage increase up to 4.9 V allowed the achievement of a high discharge capacity in galvanostatic charge–discharge tests. The discharge capacities of 153 mAh g?1 at 0.05 C and 149 mAh g?1 at 0.1 C were achieved at room temperature; the trickle-mode discharge capacities at room temperature were 132, 120 and 91 mAh g?1 at 0.1, 1 and 5 C discharge rates, respectively. The cell exhibited a good rate capability in the galvanostatic cycling up to 5 C discharge rates at both ambient temperature and 50 °C.  相似文献

A novel porous sulfur cathode in which a gelatin was used as the binder was prepared by using a freeze–drying method at −58 °C. The porous structure provides channels for electrolyte infiltration and then facilitates ion diffusion. This porous sulfur cathode has a high initial capacity of 1235 mAh g−1 and a high reversible capacity of 626 mAh g−1 after 50 cycles, both of which are higher than that of the normal cathodes with compact structures.  相似文献

Core-shell Cu2O/Cu composites were successfully prepared by over-reduction of aqueous CuSO4 with hydrazine hydrate as reductant. Field emission scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) clearly illuminate that the core is Cu2O with 400 nm in diameter, and the shell is Cu with about 50 nm in thickness. The core-shell Cu2O/Cu exhibited weaker polarization and higher coulombic efficiency than pure octahedral Cu2O, especially in the initial stage of cycles. After 50 cycles, the reversible capacity of Cu2O/Cu (360 mAh g?1) was much higher than that of pure Cu2O (160 mAh g?1). The improvement of electrochemical properties is attributed to the core-shell structure of Cu2O/Cu and the catalytic effect of Cu on the decomposition of Li2O during the charging process.  相似文献

The amorphous Mg–Al–Ni composites were prepared by mechanical ball-milling of Mg17Al12 with x wt.% Ni (x = 0, 50, 100, 150, 200). The effects of Ni addition and ball-milling parameters on the electrochemical hydrogen storage properties and microstructures of the prepared composites have been investigated systematically. For the Mg17Al12 ball-milled without Ni powder, its particle size decreases but the crystal structure does not change even the ball-milling time extending to 120 h, and its discharge capacity is less than 15 mAh g?1. The Ni addition is advantageous for the formation of Mg–Al–Ni amorphous structure and for the improvement of the electrochemical characteristics of the composites. With the Ni content x increasing, the composites exhibit higher degree of amorphorization. Moreover, the discharge capacity of the composite increases from 41.3 mAh g?1 (x = 50) to 658.2 mAh g?1 (x = 200) gradually, and the exchange current density I0 increases from 67.1 mA g?1 (x = 50) to 263.8 mA g?1 (x = 200), which is consistent with the variation of high-rate dischargeability (HRD). The ball-milled Mg17Al12 + 200 wt.% Ni composite has the highest cycling discharge capacity in the first 50 cycles.  相似文献

Li4Ti5O12/reduced graphene oxide (RGO) composites were prepared via a simple strategy. The as-prepared composites present Li4Ti5O12 nanoparticles uniformly immobilized on the RGO sheets. The Li4Ti5O12/RGO composites possess excellent electrochemical properties with good cycle stability and high specific capacities of 154 mAh g 1 (at 10C) and 149 mAh g 1 (at 20C), much higher than the results found in other literatures. The superior electrochemical performance of the Li4Ti5O12/RGO composites is attributed to its unique hybrid structure of conductive graphene network with the uniformly dispersed Li4Ti5O12 nanoparticles.  相似文献

Na4Co2.4Mn0.3Ni0.3(PO4)2P2O7 has been evaluated as a positive electrode for sodium-ion batteries. The novel material has two redox couples around 4.2 V and 4.6 V and can deliver the high capacity of ca. 103 mAh g 1 at the high current density of 850 mA g 1 (5 C). X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) results show that the redox reactions of Co, Mn and Ni ions proceed simultaneously in the charge process and it is indicated the novel material provide high mixed potential by the redox reactions of Co, Mn and Ni ions. These findings suggest that the derivatives of Na4Co3(PO4)2P2O7 should be employed as high potential and high capacity electrode materials.  相似文献

An interwoven core–shell structured Ni/NiO anode for lithium ion batteries was created by a simple oxidation of Ni foam. As-prepared configuration has a high specific discharge capacity of 701 mAh g?1 at the 2nd cycle. Its electrochemical performance at subsequent cycles shows good energy capacity of 646 mAh g?1 at the 65th cycle as well as good rate capability. The porous core–shell structure not only buffers the volume change during cycling but also effectively increases the contact among anode, current collector and electrolyte. The small contact resistance between NiO and Ni facilitates enhanced intrinsic kinetics from conversion reaction.  相似文献

This work aims to maximize the number of active sites for energy storage per geometric area, by approaching the investigation to 3D design for microelectrode arrays. Self-organized Li4Ti5O12/TiO2/Li3PO4 composite nanoforest layer (LTL) is obtained from a layer of self organized TiO2/Li3PO4 nanotubes. The electrochemical response of this thin film electrode prepared at 700 °C exhibited lithium insertion and de-insertion at 1.55 and 1.57 V respectively, which is the typical potential found for lithium titanates. The effects of lithium phosphate on lithium titanate are explored for the first time. By cycling between 2.7 and 0.75 V the LTL/LiFePO4 full cell delivered 145 mA h g 1 at an average potential of 1.85 V leading to an energy density of 260 W h kg 1 at C/2. Raman spectroscopy revealed that the γ-Li3PO4/lithium titanate structure is preserved after prolonged cycling. This means that Li3PO4 plays an important role for enhancing the electronic conductivity and lithium ion diffusion.  相似文献

LiFe1/3Mn1/3Co1/3PO4/C solid solution was prepared via a poly(ethylene glycol) assisted sol–gel method and exploited as cathode materials for lithium ion batteries. X-ray diffraction patterns indicate that LiFe1/3Mn1/3Co1/3PO4/C is crystallized in an orthorhombic structure. The scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy show that the particles are about 200 nm with a uniform carbon coating of about 8 nm in thickness to form a core–shell nanostructure. During charge–discharge cycles, LiFe1/3Mn1/3Co1/3PO4/C presented three plateaus corresponding to Fe3+/Fe2+, Mn3+/Mn2+ and Co3+/Co2+ redox couples, and a discharge capacity of 150.8 mAh g?1 in the first cycle, remaining 121.2 mAh g?1 after 30 cycles. Core–shell structure can optimize the performances of polyoxoanionic materials for lithium ion batteries.  相似文献

Electrochemical activities of layered LiCrO2 (R-3m) and NaCrO2 (R-3m) materials were investigated at room temperature in aprotic organic electrolyte solutions. LiCrO2 and NaCrO2, possessing the same polytypism and the same transition metal atom, were inactive and active in 1 mol dm?3 LiClO4 and NaClO4 propylene carbonate, respectively. The NaCrO2 electrode performed the highly reversible capacities of ca. 120 mAh g?1 with satisfactory capacity retention in a Na cell.  相似文献

A new zero-dimensional (0D) aluminophosphate monomer [dl-Co(en)3]2[Al(HPO4)2(H1.5PO4)2(H2PO4)2](H3PO4)4 (designated AlPO-CJ38) with Al/P ratio of 1/6 has been solvothermally prepared by using racemic cobalt complex dl-Co(en)3Cl3 as the template. The Al atom is octahedrally linked to six P atoms via bridging oxygen atoms, forming a unique [Al(HPO4)2(H1.5PO4)2(H2PO4)2]6? monomer. Notably, there exists intramolecular symmetrical O?H?O bonds, which results in pseudo-4-rings stabilized by the strong H-bonding interactions. The structure is also featured by the existence of four different types of monophosphates that have been confirmed by 31P NMR and 1H NMR spectra. The crystal data are as follows: AlPO-CJ38, [dl-Co(en)3]2[Al(HPO4)2(H1.5PO4)2(H2PO4)2](H3PO4)4, M = 1476.33, monoclinic, C2/c (No. 15), a = 36.028(7) Å, b = 8.9877(18) Å, c = 16.006(3) Å, β = 100.68(3)°, U = 5093.2(18) Å3, Z = 4, R1 = 0.0509 (I > 2σ(I)) and wR2 = 0.1074 (all data).
