We report possibility of generating entanglement and steady entanglement between two identical atoms in free space with a very natural way when their spatial separation is on the order of wavelength or less. We show a dynamical creation of entanglement and steady entanglement due to the radiative coupling with different separable initial atomic states and study the entanglement properties about this atomic subsystem. Not only the creation of steady state entanglement is decided by the initial atomic states, but also the magnitude of the entanglement and the steady state entanglement are found to be strongly dependent on the initial states. We derive a master equation for the atomic subspace and solve it analytically to show how the spontaneous emission from the two atoms system induces entanglement and steady entanglement, the crossing coupling terms in master equation can enhance the entanglement value.  相似文献

本文研究将两个二能级原子分别注入耦合腔A和B中,并且原子与腔场发生共振相互作用的情况.采用Negativity熵度量两子系统间的纠缠,利用数值计算方法研究了两个原子之间、腔内原子与腔场之间和两个腔场之间的纠缠性质.讨论了腔场间的耦合强度对纠缠特性的影响.研究结果表明:随腔场间耦合的增强,两原子间的纠缠增强,而原子与腔场间和两腔场间的纠缠减弱. 关键词: 量子光学 二能级原子 耦合腔 量子纠缠  相似文献

We study the entanglement properties of the Kerr couplers with bipartite entanglement parameter and multi-body entanglement parameter, respectively. By analytically and numerically calculate the entanglement parameters, we see that the linear coupling and the nonlinear coupling characterizing the cross-action processes suppress the bipartite entanglement and multi-body entanglement.  相似文献

In this paper,we study quantum dynamics of entanglement and single excitation transfer(SET) in an LH1-RC-type trimer which can describe a basic unit cell in the LH1-RC complex in the photosynthetic process.It is shown that there exists a sudden change of entanglement at the critic point of quantum phase transition(QPT) of the system at low temperatures,the entanglement sudden change caused by the QPT is suppressed at higher temperatures.We investigate the influence of environment on entanglement and SET.We show the generation of the dephasing-assisted entanglement between a donor and an acceptor and the existence of the steady-state entanglement,and demonstrate the entanglement transfer from donor-donor entanglement to donor-acceptor entanglement in the dynamic evolution.We reveal the close relation between the SET probability and donor-acceptor entanglement.Especially,we find that the SET probability is proportional to the amount of donor-acceptor entanglement under certain conditions.  相似文献

Squashed entanglement is a promising entanglement measure that can be generalized to multipartite case, and it has all of the desirable properties for a good entanglement measure. In this paper we present computable lower bounds to evaluate the multipartite squashed entanglement. We investigate the dynamics of remote entanglement in the system consisting of a Jaynes-Cummings model and an atom-cavity-optomechanical system. Meanwhile, we find that the remote entanglement is related to the initial entanglement degree between two atoms, the coupling strength between atom and cavity. Moreover, the phenomenon of entanglement sudden death appears in the evolution of entanglement for some initial conditions. By investigating the entanglement transfer among two atoms and cavity 1, we show that the entanglement transfer can be realized at some special time. In particular, we evaluate the tripartite entanglement of the two atoms and cavity 1 through π-tangle, and prepare the larger tripartite entanglement. This implementation of tripartite entanglement might provide a potential way to realize improved information processing and distributed quantum computing.

We investigate entanglement dynamics and transfer in a system of two identical independent qubits, each of them locally interacting with a bosonic reservoir. Starting from two-qubit extended Werner-like states, we have shown that the degree of entanglement of the initial states, Markovian environments and the purity can control the time of the two-qubit entanglement sudden death and the reservoirs’ entanglement sudden birth. Moreover, the phenomenon of entanglement sudden death/birth may occur depending on the values of parameters like purity or degree of entanglement of the initial state. When initial states are not pure, entanglement sudden death/birth always occurs, this will permit us to link the occurrence time of entanglement sudden death/birth and entanglement transfer to the purity or the degree of entanglement of the initial states.  相似文献

Entanglement is the crucial resource for different quantum information processing tasks. While conventional studies focus on the entanglement of bipartite or multipartite quantum states, recent works have extended the scenario to the entanglement of quantum channels, an operational quantification of the channel entanglement manipulation capability. Based on the recently proposed channel entanglement resource framework, here we study a further task of resource detection—witnessing entanglement of quantum channels. We first introduce the general framework and show how channel entanglement detection is related to the Choi state of the channel, enabling channel entanglement detection via conventional state entanglement detection methods. We also consider entanglement of multipartite quantum channels and use the stabilizer formalism to construct entanglement witnesses for circuits consisting of controlled-Z gates. We study the effectiveness of the proposed detection methods and compare their performance for several typical channels. Our work paves the way for systematic theoretical studies of channel entanglement and practical benchmarking of noisy intermediate scaled quantum devices.  相似文献

研究了由光纤模连接的两个Tavis-Cummings模型中纠缠演化和纠缠转移的特性。结果表明,初始两原子间的纠缠可转移为另两原子间的纠缠,在纠缠转移过程中,光纤模起到中间传递的作用。纠缠的转移与初始两原子间的纠缠、原子与腔场的耦合强度以及光纤模与腔场的耦合强度、原子与腔场的失谐量和腔场耗散有关。初始纠缠决定了另两原子间纠缠产生的大小;在原子与腔场的耦合强度一定的条件下,随着光纤模与腔场耦合强度的增强,纠缠转移的时间缩短,且产生的纠缠值增加;腔场耗散对纠缠演化的衰减影响是显著的,而失谐量的增加可以有效地抑制这一现象。在整个纠缠转移过程中,系统中其他任两子体系间的纠缠起到了桥梁的作用,实现了两量子纠缠态的远程传递和制备。  相似文献

We study the entanglement dynamics of two cavities interacting with independent reservoirs. Expectedly, as the cavity entanglement is depleted, it is transferred to the reservoir degrees of freedom. We find also that when the cavity entanglement suddenly disappears, the reservoir entanglement suddenly and necessarily appears. Surprisingly, we show that this entanglement sudden birth can manifest before, simultaneously, or even after entanglement sudden death. Finally, we present an explanatory study of other entanglement partitions and of higher dimensional systems.  相似文献

Distribution of the entangled state of trapped atomic ions to long distance using quantum repeater protocol is considered. Indeed, the long distance is divided into short parts, and then using entanglement generation and entanglement swapping techniques in optomechanical cavities, the entanglement is distributed. To do the task, we perform interaction between trapped atomic ions in optomechanical cavities, operate proper measurements on trapped ions and also make Bell state measurement as a well-known way to swap the entanglement. Accordingly, the entanglement is distributed between target ions with satisfactory values of success probability and entanglement degree. The effects of detuning and amplitude of pump laser on the entanglement and success probability are evaluated. The fluctuations of entanglement and success probability are decreased by increasing of detuning. Via increasing the amplitude of pump laser, the maxima of entanglement are repeated more times and success probability undergoes the collapse-revival phenomenon.  相似文献

We analyze the entanglement evolution of two cavity photons being affected by the dissipation of two individual reservoirs. Under an arbitrary local unitary operation on the initial state, it is shown that there is only one parameter which changes the entanglement dynamics. For the bipartite subsystems, we show that the entanglement of the cavity photons is correlated with that of the reservoirs, although the local operation can delay the time at which the photon entanglement disappears and advance the time at which the reservoir entanglement appears. Furthermore, via a new defined four-qubit entanglement measure and two three-qubit entanglement measures, we study the multipartite entanglement evolution in the composite system, which allows us to analyze quantitatively both bipartite and multipartite entanglement within a unified framework. In addition, we also discuss the entanglement evolution with an arbitrary initial state.  相似文献

We use the quantum jump approach to study the entanglement dynamics of a quantum register, which is composed of two or three dipole-dipole coupled two-level atoms, interacting with a common environment. Our investigation of entanglement dynamics reflects that the environment has dual actions on the entanglement of the qubits in the model. While the environment destroys the entanglement induced by the coherent dipole-dipole interactions, it can produce stable entanglement between the qubits prepared initially in a separable state. The analysis shows that it is the entangled decoherence-free states contained as components in the initial state that contribute to the stable entanglement. Our study indicates how the environmental noise produces the entanglement and exposes the interplay of environmental noise and coherent interactions of qubits on the entanglement.  相似文献

Taking the intrinsic decoherence effect into account, we investigate the entanglement dynamics of a superconducting charge qubit in a single-mode optical cavity. Concurrence, as the measure of entanglement of the coupled field-junction system, is calculated. In comparison, we also consider the entanglement of the system by using the entanglement parameter based on the ratio between mutual entropy and partial Von-Neumann entropy to investigate how the intrinsic decoherence affects the entanglement of the coupling system. Our results show that the evolution of the entanglement parameter has the behaviour similar to the concurrence and it is thus the well measure of entanglement for the mixed state in such a coupling system.  相似文献

We study three-body entanglement induced by spontaneous emission in a three two-level atoms system by using the entanglement tensor approach. The results show that the amount of entanglement is strongly dependent on the initial state of the system and the species of atoms. The three-body entanglement is the result of the coherent superposition of the two-body entanglements. The larger the two-body entanglement is, the stronger the three-body entanglement is. On the other hand, if there exists a great difference in three two-body entanglement measures, the three-body entanglement is very weak. We also find that the maximum of the two-body entanglement obtained with nonidentical atoms is greater than that obtained with identical atoms via adjusting the difference in atomic frequency.  相似文献

We investigate entanglement inseparability and bipartite entanglement of in two-component Bose-Einstein condensate in the presence of the nonlinear interatomic interaction, interspecies interaction. Entanglement inseparability and bipartite entanglement have the similar properties. More entanglement can be generated by adjusting the nonlinear interatomic interaction and control the time interval of the entanglement by adjusting interspecies interaction.  相似文献
