Special polynomials associated with rational solutions of a hierarchy of equations of Painlevé type are introduced. The hierarchy arises by similarity reduction from the Fordy-Gibbons hierarchy of partial differential equations. Some relations for these special polynomials are given. Differential-difference hierarchies for finding special polynomials are presented. These formulae allow us to obtain special polynomials associated with the hierarchy studied. It is shown that rational solutions of members of the Schwarz-Sawada-Kotera, the Schwarz-Kaup-Kupershmidt, the Fordy-Gibbons, the Sawada-Kotera and the Kaup-Kupershmidt hierarchies can be expressed through special polynomials of the hierarchy studied.  相似文献

We propose a simple and direct method for generating travelling wave solutions for nonlinear integrable equations. We illustrate how nontrivial solutions for the KdV, the mKdV and the Boussinesq equations can be obtained from simple solutions of linear equations. We describe how using this method, a soliton solution of the KdV equation can yield soliton solutions for the mKdV as well as the Boussinesq equations. Similarly, starting with cnoidal solutions of the KdV equation, we can obtain the corresponding solutions for the mKdV as well as the Boussinesq equations. Simple solutions of linear equations can also lead to cnoidal solutions of nonlinear systems. Finally, we propose and solve some new families of KdV equations and show how soliton solutions are also obtained for the higher order equations of the KdV hierarchy using this method.  相似文献

The hierarchy of integrable nonlinear equations associated with the quadratic bundle is considered. The expressions for the solution of linearization of these equations and their conservation law in the terms of solutions of corresponding Lax pairs are found. It is shown for the first member of the hierarchy that the conservation law is connected with the solution of linearized equation due to the Noether's theorem. The local hierarchy and three nonlocal ones of the infinitesimal symmetries and conservation laws explicitly expressed through the variables of the nonlinear equations are derived.  相似文献

Starting from a specific matrix iso-spectral problem, an associated hierarchy of multi-component Hamiltonian equations is constructed, based on zero curvature equations. The key point is to choose appropriate time parts of Lax pairs which can yield evolution equations, and the existence of a Hamiltonian structure for the obtained hierarchy is established by means of the trace identity. An example with five components is computed, along with its Hamiltonian structure.  相似文献

Based on a discrete four-by-four matrix spectral problem, a hierarchy of Lax integrable lattice equations with two potentials is derived. Two Hamiltonian forms are constructed for each lattice equation in the resulting hierarchy by means of the discrete variational identity. A strong symmetry operator of the resulting hierarchy is given. Finally, it is shown that the resulting lattice equations are all Liouville integrable discrete Hamiltonian systems.  相似文献

In [W.X. Ma, J. Phys. A: Math. Theor. 40 (2007) 15055], Prof. Ma gave a beautiful result (a discrete variational identity). In this Letter, based on a discrete block matrix spectral problem, a new hierarchy of Lax integrable lattice equations with four potentials is derived. By using of the discrete variational identity, we obtain Hamiltonian structure of the discrete soliton equation hierarchy. Finally, an integrable coupling system of the soliton equation hierarchy and its Hamiltonian structure are obtained through the discrete variational identity.  相似文献

Starting from a new discrete iso-spectral problem, we derive a hierarchy of Hamiltonian lattice equations. A Darboux transformation is established for the lattice soliton hierarchy. As applications, the soliton solutions of resulted lattice hierarchy are given.  相似文献

A hierarchy of non-isospectral multi-component AKNS equations is derived from an arbitrary order matrix spectral problem. As a reduction, non-isospectral multi-component Schrödinger equations are obtained. Moreover, new non-isospectral integrable couplings of the resulting AKNS soliton hierarchy are constructed by enlarging the associated matrix spectral problem.  相似文献

In this Letter, the Darboux transformation for the non-isospectral AKNS hierarchy is constructed. We show that the Darboux transformation for the non-isospectral AKNS hierarchy is not an auto-Bäcklund transformation, because the integral constants of the hierarchy will be changed after the transformation. The transform rule of the integral constants will be also derived. By this means, the soliton solutions of the nonlinear equations derived by the non-isospectral AKNS hierarchy can be found.  相似文献

Rational solutions of the generalized second Painlevé hierarchy are classified. Representation of the rational solutions in terms of special polynomials, the generalized Yablonskii-Vorob'ev polynomials, is introduced. Differential-difference relations satisfied by the polynomials are found. Hierarchies of differential equations related to the generalized second Painlevé hierarchy are derived. One of these hierarchies is a sequence of differential equations satisfied by the generalized Yablonskii-Vorob'ev polynomials.  相似文献

A method is proposed to construct a new extended KP hierarchy, which includes two types of KP equation with self-consistent sources and admits reductions to k-constrained KP hierarchy and to Gelfand-Dickey hierarchy with sources. It provides a general way to construct soliton equations with sources and their Lax representations.  相似文献

A hierarchy of non-isospectral Ablowitz-Kaup-Newell-Segur (AKNS) equations with self-consistent sources is derived. As a general reduction case, a hierarchy of non-isospectral nonlinear SchrSdinger equations (NLSE) with selfconsistent sources is obtained. Moreover, a new non-isospectral integrable coupling of the AKNS soliton hierarchy with self-consistent sources is constructed by using the Kronecker product.  相似文献

By considering a discrete iso-spectral problem, a hierarchy of bi-Hamiltonian relativistic Toda type lattice equations are revisited. After introducing a semi-direct sum Lie algebras of four by four matrices, integrable coupling system associated with the relativistic Toda type lattice are derived. It is shown that the resulting lattice soliton hierarchy possesses Hamiltonian structures and infinitely many common commuting symmetries as well infinitely many conserved functions. The Liouville integrability of the resulting system is then demonstrated.  相似文献

A hierarchy of nonlinear lattice soliton equations is derived from a new discrete spectral problem. The Hamiltonian structure of the resulting hierarchy is constructed by using a trace identity formula. Moreover, a Darboux transformation is established with the help of gauge transformations of Lax pairs for the typical lattice soliton equations. The exact solutions are given by applying the Darboux transformation.  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss how to construct the bilinear identities for the wave functions of the (γn, σk)-KP hierarchy and its Hirota’s bilinear forms. First, based on the corresponding squared eigenfunction symmetry of the KP hierarchy, we prove that the wave functions of the (γn, σk)-KP hierarchy are equal to the bilinear identities given in Sec.3 by introducing N auxiliary parameters zi, i = 1, 2,?…?, N. Next, we derived the bilinear equations for the tau-function of the (γn, σk)-KP hierarchy. Then, we obtain the bilinear equations for the taufunction of the mixed type of KP equation with self-consistent sources (KPESCS), which includes both the first and the second type of KPESCS as special cases by setting n = 2 and k = 3. Finally, using the relation between the Hirota bilinear derivatives and the usual partial derivatives, we show the procedure of translating the Hirota’s bilinear equations into the mixed type of KPESCS.  相似文献

First, a new multi-component modified Kadomtsev-Petviashvill (mKP) spectral problem is constructed by k-constraint imposed on a general pseudo-differential operator. Then, two hierarchies of multi-component mKP equations are derived, including positive non-isospectral mKP hierarchy and negative non-isospectral mKP hierarchy. Moreover, new integrable couplings of the resulting mKP soliton hierarchies are constructed by enlarging the associated matrix spectral problem.  相似文献

By introducing a discrete spectral problem, we derive a lattice hierarchy which is integrable in Liouville's sense and possesses a multi-Hamiltonian structure. It is show that the discrete spectral problem converges to the well-known AKNS spectral problem under a certain continuous limit. In particular, we construct a sequence of equations in the lattice hierarchy which approximates the AKNS hierarchy as a continuous limit.  相似文献

The KP hierarchy consists of an infinite system of nonlinear partial differential equations and is determined by Lax equations, which can be constructed using pseudodifferential operators. The KP hierarchy and the associated Lax equations can be generalized by using pseudodifferential operators of several variables. We construct Baker functions associated to those generalized Lax equations of several variables and prove some of the properties satisfied by such functions.  相似文献

We tackle the problem of interpreting the Darboux transformation for the KP hierarchy and its relations with the modified KP hierarchy from a geometric point of view. This is achieved by introducing the concept of a Darboux covering. We construct a Darboux covering of the KP equations and obtain a new hierarchy of equations, which we call the Darboux-KP hierarchy (DKP). We employ the DKP equations to discuss the relationships among the KP equations, the modified KP equations, and the discrete KP equations. Our approach also handles the various reductions of the KP hierarchy. We show that the KP hierarchy is a projection of the DKP, the mKP hierarchy is a DKP restriction to a suitable invariant submanifold, and that the discrete KP equations are obtained as iterations of the DKP ones.
