We study the structural properties of the class Mk,λ,b(k≥2, 0≤λ≤1, b∈ℂ\{0}) of functions f(z)=z+ ... which are regular in |z|<1 and satisfy the conditions f(z)f′(z)z−1≠0 and , where J(z)=λ(1+b−1zf″(z)/f′(z)+(1−λ)(b−1zf′(z)/f(z)+1−b−1). We will show that the bricks (of Bosbach) and the pseudo MV-algebras are each term equivalent to the class of semigroups with a pair of unary operations ^ and ˘ satisfying the equations: (aa)^b = b = b()˘ and a( a)˘ = ()^b and also show that a brick is an interval [0, u] of the positive cone of a unital lattice ordered group. We further extend the notion of implications to a pseudo MV-algebra and study the algebra of such implications.   相似文献

Melissen [1] considered packings of k congruent circles in the symmetric flat torus T 2 = [0, 1)2 and determined the largest possible radius for k ≤ 4. In the present paper the analogous problem is studied for an arbitrary asymmetric torus T2 = [0,b) × [0,a), 0 < ab and the maximal radius is found again for k ≤ 4. We present a new polynomial-time algorithm for linear programming. In the worst case, the algorithm requiresO(n 3.5 L) arithmetic operations onO(L) bit numbers, wheren is the number of variables andL is the number of bits in the input. The running-time of this algorithm is better than the ellipsoid algorithm by a factor ofO(n 2.5). We prove that given a polytopeP and a strictly interior point a εP, there is a projective transformation of the space that mapsP, a toP′, a′ having the following property. The ratio of the radius of the smallest sphere with center a′, containingP′ to the radius of the largest sphere with center a′ contained inP′ isO(n). The algorithm consists of repeated application of such projective transformations each followed by optimization over an inscribed sphere to create a sequence of points which converges to the optimal solution in polynomial time. This is a substantially revised version of the paper presented at the Symposium on Theory of Computing, Washington D. C., April 1984.  相似文献

It is proven that there exists b * > 0 such that f b exists on [0, + ∞) and is such that as t → + ∞, if and only if b ≥ b *. This allows to answer questions about existence, uniqueness and boundedness of solutions to a boundary value problem arising in fluid mechanics, and especially in boundary layer theory.   相似文献

The theory of d-semigroups (divisibility-semigroups) was established in [3], [4], [5], and is continued here by some contributions to the theory of continuous d-semigroups the main results of which are the two propositions: (1) LetS be a d-semigroup with 1. ThenS satisfies D□X iffS + satisfies this axiom. (2) LetS be continuous. Then (S,·) is commutative. Obviously Proposition (2) is an improvement of Iwasawa's theorem concerning conditionally complete lattice ordered groups.
