This paper considers the implementation of Bezier–Bernstein polynomials and the Levenberg–Marquart algorithm for identifying multiple-input single-output (MISO) Hammerstein models consisting of nonlinear static functions followed by a linear dynamical subsystem. The nonlinear static functions are approximated by the means of Bezier curves and Bernstein basis functions. The identification method is based on a hybrid scheme including the inverse de Casteljau algorithm, the least squares method, and the Levenberg–Marquart (LM) algorithm. Furthermore, results based on the proposed scheme are given which demonstrate substantial identification performance.  相似文献

In this paper, the fractional variational iteration method (FVIM) was applied to obtain the approximate solutions of time-fractional Swift–Hohenberg (S–H) equation with modified Riemann–Liouville derivative. A new application of fractional variational iteration method (FVIM) was extended to derive analytical solutions in the form of a series for these equations. Numerical results showed the FVIM is powerful, reliable and effective method when applied strongly nonlinear equations with modified Riemann–Liouville derivative.  相似文献

We prove the Bochner–Weitzenböck formula for the (nonlinear) Laplacian on general Finsler manifolds and derive Li–Yau type gradient estimates as well as parabolic Harnack inequalities. Moreover, we deduce Bakry–Émery gradient estimates. All these estimates depend on lower bounds for the weighted flag Ricci tensor.  相似文献

In this note we give an elementary proof of the Fritz-John and Karush–Kuhn–Tucker conditions for nonlinear finite dimensional programming problems with equality and/or inequality constraints. The proof avoids the implicit function theorem usually applied when dealing with equality constraints and uses a generalization of Farkas lemma and the Bolzano-Weierstrass property for compact sets.  相似文献

We study the interaction of initial layer and boundary layer in the nonlinear Darcy–Brinkman system in the vanishing Darcy number limit. In particular, we show the existence of a function of corner layer type (so-called initial–boundary layer) in the solution of the nonlinear Darcy–Brinkman system. An approximate solution is constructed by the method of multiple scale expansion in space and in time. We establish the optimal convergence rates in various Sobolev norms via energy method.  相似文献

Ever since the technique of the Kalman–Bucy filter was popularized, there has been an intense interest in finding new classes of finite-dimensional recursive filters. In the late 1970s the concept of the estimation algebra of a filtering system was introduced. Brockett, Clark, and Mitter proposed to use the Wei–Norman approach to solve the nonlinear filtering problem. In 1990, Tam, Wong, and Yau presented a rigorous proof of the Brocket–Mitter program which allows one to construct finite-dimensional recursive filters from finite–dimensional estimation algebras. Later Yau wrote down explicitly a system of ordinary differential equations and generalized Kolmogorov equation to which the robust Duncan–Mortenser– Zakai equation can be reduced. Thus there remains three fundamental problems in Brockett–Mitter program. The first is the problem of finding explicit solution to the generalized Kolmogorov equation. The second is the problem of finding real-time solution of a system of ODEs. The third is the Brockett's problem of classification of finite–dimensional estimation algebras. In this paper, we solve the first problem.  相似文献

In the present paper, a family of predictor–corrector (PC) schemes are developed for the numerical solution of nonlinear parabolic differential equations. Iterative processes are avoided by use of the implicit–explicit (IMEX) methods. Moreover, compared to the predictor schemes, the proposed methods usually have superior accuracy and stability properties. Some confirmation of these are illustrated by using the schemes on the well-known Fisher’s equation.  相似文献

We develop a new analytical solution for a reactive transport model that describes the steady-state distribution of oxygen subject to diffusive transport and nonlinear uptake in a sphere. This model was originally reported by Lin [S.H. Lin, Oxygen diffusion in a spherical cell with nonlinear oxygen uptake kinetics, J. Theor. Biol. 60 (1976) 449–457] to represent the distribution of oxygen inside a cell and has since been studied extensively by both the numerical analysis and formal analysis communities. Here we extend these previous studies by deriving an analytical solution to a generalized reaction–diffusion equation that encompasses Lin’s model as a particular case. We evaluate the solution for the parameter combinations presented by Lin and show that the new solutions are identical to a grid-independent numerical approximation.  相似文献

In this paper, we use the variational iteration method (VIM) for optimal control problems. First, optimal control problems are transferred to Hamilton–Jacobi–Bellman (HJB) equation as a nonlinear first order hyperbolic partial differential equation. Then, the basic VIM is applied to construct a nonlinear optimal feedback control law. By this method, the control and state variables can be approximated as a function of time. Also, the numerical value of the performance index is obtained readily. In view of the convergence of the method, some illustrative examples are presented to show the efficiency and reliability of the presented method.  相似文献

We establish the uniqueness of semi-wavefront solution for a non-local delayed reaction–diffusion equation. This result is obtained by using a generalization of the Diekmann–Kaper theory for a nonlinear convolution equation. Wavelet method is a recently developed tool in applied mathematics. Investigation of various wavelet methods, for its capability of analyzing various dynamic phenomena through waves gained more and more attention in engineering research. Starting from ‘offering good solution to differential equations’ to capturing the nonlinearity in the data distribution, wavelets are used as appropriate tools at various places to provide good mathematical model for scientific phenomena, which are usually modeled through linear or nonlinear differential equations. Review shows that the wavelet method is efficient and powerful in solving wide class of linear and nonlinear reaction–diffusion equations. This review intends to provide the great utility of wavelets to science and engineering problems which owes its origin to 1919. Also, future scope and directions involved in developing wavelet algorithm for solving reaction–diffusion equations are addressed.  相似文献

We find the Lie point symmetries of a class of second-order nonlinear diffusion–convection–reaction equations containing an unspecified coefficient function of the independent variable t and determine the subclasses of these equations which are nonlinearly self-adjoint. By using a general theorem on conservation laws proved recently by N.H. Ibragimov we establish conservation laws corresponding to the aforementioned Lie point symmetries, one by one, for the simultaneous system of the original equation together with its adjoint equation through a formal Lagrangian. Particularly, for the nonlinearly self-adjoint subclasses, we construct conservation laws for the corresponding equations themselves.  相似文献

Numerical methods based on the Reynolds Averaged Navier–Stokes (RANS) and Large Eddy Simulation (LES) equations are applied to the thermal prediction of flows representative of those found in and around electronics systems and components. Low Reynolds number flows through a heated ribbed channel, around a heated cube and within a complex electronics system case are investigated using linear and nonlinear LES models, hybrid RANS–LES and RANS–Numerical-LES (RANS–NLES) methods. Flow and heat transfer predictions using these techniques are in good agreement with each other and experimental data for a range of grid resolutions. Using second order central differences, the RANS–NLES method performs well for all simulations.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the construction of conservative finite difference schemes by means of discrete variational method for the generalized Zakharov–Kuznetsov equations and the numerical solvability of the two-dimensional nonlinear wave equations. A finite difference scheme is proposed such that mass and energy conservation laws associated with the generalized Zakharov–Kuznetsov equations hold. Our arguments are based on the procedure that D. Furihata has recently developed for real-valued nonlinear partial differential equations. Numerical results are given to confirm the accuracy as well as validity of the numerical solutions and then exhibit remarkable nonlinear phenomena of the interaction and behavior of pulse wave solutions.  相似文献

Based on Li’s immersed interface method (IIM), an ADI-type finite difference scheme is proposed for solving two-dimensional nonlinear convection–diffusion interface problems on a fixed cartesian grid, which is unconditionally stable and converges with two-order accuracy in both time and space in maximum norm. Correction terms are added to the right-hand side of standard ADI scheme at irregular points. The nonlinear convection terms are treated by Adams–Bashforth method, without affecting the stability of difference schemes. A new method for computing the correction terms is developed, in which the Adams–Bashforth method is employed. Thus we can get an explicit approximation for the computation of corrections, when the jump condition is solution-dependent. Three numerical experiments are displayed and analyzed. The numerical results show good agreement with the exact solutions and confirm the convergence order.  相似文献

This paper considers the global stability and stabilization of more general stochastic nonlinear systems. Due to the absence of the conventional assumptions (e.g., Lipschitz condition), the stochastic nonlinear systems under investigation may have more than one weak solution. However, the most associated results are only applicable to the stochastic systems having a unique strong solution, and therefore, it is meaningful to refine and extend the relevant concepts and methods to the more general case. In this paper, the concepts of stochastic stability in the more general sense are first introduced to cover the stochastic nonlinear systems having more than one weak solution. Then, the generalized stochastic Barbashin–Krasovskii theorem and LaSalle theorem are established, which present the criterions of stochastic stability for more general stochastic nonlinear systems. As one of the main contributions in this paper, we rigorously prove the generalized stochastic Barbashin–Krasovskii theorem. Moreover, based on the generalized theorems, the output-feedback and state-feedback stabilization are accomplished respectively for two classes of high-order stochastic nonlinear systems under rather weaker assumptions comparing to the existing literature.  相似文献
