The normally robust monoalkylated complexes [Pt(2)(mu-S)(mu-SR)(PPh(3))(4)](+) can be activated towards further alkylation. Dialkylated complexes [Pt(2)(mu-SR)(2)(P-P)(2)](2+) (P-P=2 x PPh(3), Ph(2)P(CH(2))(3)PPh(2)) can be stabilized and isolated by the use of electron-rich and aromatic halogenated substituents R [e.g. 3-(2-bromoethyl)indole and 2-bromo-4'-phenylacetophenone] and 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane [Ph(2)P(CH(2))(3)PPh(2) or dppp] which enhances the nucleophilicity of the {Pt(2)(mu-S)(2)} core. This strategy led to the activation of [Pt(2)(mu-S)(mu-SR)(PPh(3))(4)](+) towards R-X as well as isolation and crystallographic elucidation of [Pt(2)(mu-SC(10)H(10)N)(2)(PPh(3))(4)](PF(6))(2) (2a), [Pt(2)(mu-SCH(2)C(O)C(6)H(4)C(6)H(5))(2)(PPh(3))(4)](PF(6))(2) (2b), and a range of functionalized-thiolato bridged complexes such as [Pt(2)(mu-SR)(2)(dppp)(2)](PF(6))(2) [R= -CH(2)C(6)H(5) (8a), -CH(2)CHCH(2) (8b) and -CH(2)CN (8c)]. The stepwise alkylation process is conveniently monitored by Electrospray Ionisation Mass Spectrometry, allowing for a direct qualitative comparison of the nucleophilicity of [Pt(2)(mu-S)(2)(P-P)(2)], thereby guiding the bench-top synthesis of some products observed spectroscopically.  相似文献

By using the neutral bidentate nitrogen-containing ligand, bis(3,5-diisopropyl-1-pyrazolyl)methane (L1' '), the copper(I) complexes [Cu(L1' ')2](CuCl2) (1CuCl2), [Cu(L1' ')2](ClO4) (1ClO4), [Cu(L1' ')]2(ClO4)2 (2ClO4), [Cu(L1' ')]2(BF4)2 (2BF4), [Cu(L1' ')(NCMe)](PF6) (3PF6), [Cu(L1' ')(PPh3)](ClO4) (4ClO4), [Cu(L1' ')(PPh3)](PF6) (4PF6), [{Cu(L1' ')(CO)}2(mu-ClO4)](ClO4) (5ClO4), and the copper(II) complexes [{Cu(L1' ')}2(mu-OH)2(mu-ClO4)2] (6), and [Cu(L1' ')Cl2] (7) were systematically synthesized and fully characterized by X-ray crystallography and by IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy. In the case of copper(II), ESR spectroscopy was also applied. In comparison with the related neutral tridentate ligand L1', bis-chelated copper(I) complexes and binuclear linear-coordinated copper(I) complexes are easy to obtain with L1' ', like 1CuCl2, 1ClO4, 2ClO4, and 2BF4. Importantly, stronger and bulkier ligands such as acetonitrile (3PF6) and especially triphenylphosphine (4ClO4 and 4PF6) generate three-coordinate structures with a trigonal-planar geometry. Surprisingly, for the smaller ligand carbon monoxide, a mononuclear three-coordinate structure is very unstable, leading to the formation of a binuclear complex (5ClO4) with one bridging perchlorate anion, such that the copper(I) centers are four-coordinate. The same tendency is observed for the copper(II) bis(mu-hydroxo) compounds 6, which is additionally bridged by two perchlorate anions. Both copper(II) complexes 6 and 7 were obtained by molecular O2 oxidation of the corresponding copper(I) complexes. A comparison of the new copper(I) triphenylphosphine complexes 4ClO4 and 4PF6 with corresponding species obtained with the related tridentate ligands L1' and L1 (8ClO4 and 9, respectively) reveals surprisingly small differences in their spectroscopic properties. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations are used to shed light on the differences in bonding in these compounds and the spectral assignments. Finally, the reactivity of the different bis(pyrazolyl)methane complexes obtained here toward PPh3, CO, and O2 is discussed.  相似文献

Acetylplatinum(II) complexes trans-[Pt(COMe)Cl(L)2] (L = PPh3, 2a; P(4-FC6H4)3, 2b) were found to react with dialkyldisulfides R2S2 (R = Me, Et, Pr, Bu; Pr = n-propyl, Bu = n-butyl), yielding trinuclear 44 cve (cluster valence electrons) platinum clusters [(PtL)3(mu-SR)3]Cl (4). The analogous reaction of 2a-b with Ph2S2 gave SPh bridged dinuclear complexes trans-[{PtCl(L)}2(mu-SPh)2] (5), whereas the addition of Bn2S2 (Bn = benzyl) to 2a ended up in the formation of [{Pt(PPh3)}3(mu3-S)(mu-SBn)3]Cl (6). Theoretical studies based on the AIM theory revealed that type 4 complexes must be regarded as triangular platinum clusters with Pt-Pt bonds whereas complex 6 must be treated as a sulfur capped 48 ve (valence electrons) trinuclear platinum(II) complex without Pt-Pt bonding interactions. Phosphine ligands with a lower donor capability in clusters 4 proved to be subject to substitution by stronger donating monodentate phosphine ligands (L' = PMePh2, PMe2Ph, PBu3) yielding clusters [(PtL')3(mu-SR)3]Cl (9). In case of the reaction of clusters 4 and 9 with PPh2CH2PPh2 (dppm), a fragmentation reaction occurred, and the complexes [(PtL)2(mu-SMe)(mu-dppm)]Cl (12) and [Pt(mu-SMe)2(dppm)] (13) were isolated. Furthermore, oxidation reactions of cluster [{Pt(PPh3)}3(mu-SMe)3]Cl (4a) using halogens (Br2, I2) gave dimeric platinum(II) complexes cis-[{PtX(PPh3)}2(mu-SMe)2] (14, X = Br, I) whereas oxidation reactions using sulfur and selenium afforded chalcogen capped trinuclear 48 ve complexes [{Pt(PPh3)}3(mu3-E)(mu-SMe)3] (15, E = S, Se). All compounds were fully characterized by means of NMR and IR spectroscopy, microanalyses, and ESI mass spectrometry. Furthermore, X-ray diffraction analyses were performed for the triangular cluster 4a, the trinuclear complex 6, as well as for the dinuclear complexes trans-[{Pt(AsPh3)}2(mu-SPh)2] (5c), [{Pt(PPh3)}2(mu-SMe)(mu-dppm)]Cl (12a), and [{{PtBr(PPh3)}2(mu-SMe)2] (14a).  相似文献

The alkyne functionalised bidentate N-donor ligand (2-propargyloxyphenyl)bis(pyrazolyl)methane was prepared in high yield from the reaction of (2-hydroxyphenyl)bis(pyrazolyl)methane with propargyl bromide in the presence of base. A series of transition-metal complexes including [MCl2] (M=Cu, Co, Ni, Zn, Pt), [M2](NO3)2 (M=Cu, Co, Ni, Zn), [Ag]NO3 and [Pd(dppe)](OTf)2 were prepared and characterised by spectroscopic techniques. In addition, ligand as well as the Co(II) and Zn(II) complexes [CoCl2]2, [ZnCl2] were structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The organometallic gold(I) and platinum(II) acetylide complexes [Pz2CH(C6H(4)-2-OCH2C[triple bond, length as m-dash]CAuPPh3)] and trans-[{Pz2CHC6H(4)-2-OCH2C[triple bond, length as m-dash]C}2Pt(PPh3)2] were prepared from and [AuCl(PPh3)] and trans-[PtCl2(PPh3)2], respectively. Treatment of these complexes with [Pd(OTf)2(dppe)] or [Cu(MeCN)4]PF6 results in formation of the cationic, mixed-metal complexes, which were isolated (Pt/Pd, Au/Pt) or detected by electrospray mass spectrometry (Au/Cu, Pt/Cu).  相似文献

The neutral square-planar complexes [Pt(RNH2)2(NHCO(t)Bu)2] (R = H, 1; Et, 2) and [Pt(DACH)(NHCO(t)Bu)2] (DACH = 1,2-diaminocyclohexane, 3) act as metalloligands and make bonds to closed-shell Tl(I) ions to afford one- and two-dimensional platinum-thallium oligomers or polymers based on heterobimetallic backbones. A series of heteronuclear platinum(II)-thallium(I) complexes have been synthesized and structurally characterized. The structures of the Pt-Tl compounds resulted from [Pt(RNH2)2(NHCO(t)Bu)2] and TlX [X = NO3(-), ClO4(-), PF6(-), and Cp2Fe(CO2)2(2-)] are dependent on both counteranions and the amine substituents. The compounds [Pt(NH3)2(NHCO(t)Bu)2Tl]X (X = NO3(-), 8; ClO4(-), 9) adopt one-dimensional zigzag chain structures consisting of repeatedly stacked [Pt(NH3)2(NHCO(t)Bu)2Tl]+ units, whereas [{Pt(NH3)2(NHCO(t)Bu)2}2Tl2]X2 (X = PF6(-), 10) consists of a helical chain. Compound 3 reacts with Tl+ to give [{Pt(DACH)(NHCO(t)Bu)2}2Tl](NO3) x [Pt(DACH)(NHCO(t)Bu)2] x 3 H2O (14) and one-dimensional polymeric [{Pt(DACH)(NHCO(t)Bu)2}2Tl2]X2 (X = ClO4(-), 15; PF6(-), 16). Reactions of [Pt(DACH)(NHCOCH3)2] with Tl+ ions afford one-dimensional coordination polymers [{Pt(DACH)(NHCOCH3)2}2Tl2]X2 (X = NO3(-), 17; ClO4(-), 18; PF6(-), 19). The polymeric [{Pt(DACH)(NHCOR')2}2Tl2]2+ (R = CH3, (t)Bu) complexes adopt helical structures, which are generated around the crystallographic 2(1) screw axis. The distance between the coils corresponds to the unit cell length, which ranges from 22.58 to 22.68 A. The platinum-thallium bond distances fall in a narrow range around 3.0 A. The complexes derived from [Pt(NH3)2(NHCO(t)Bu)2] are luminescent at 77 K. The trinuclear complexes [{Pt(RNH2)(NHCO(t)Bu)2}2Tl]+ do not emit at room temperature but are emissive at 77 K, whereas the polymeric platinum-thallium complexes containing 1,2-diaminocyclohexane are intensively luminescent at both room temperature and 77 K. The color variations are interesting; 15 exhibits intense yellow-green, 16 exhibits green, and 17-19 exhibit blue luminescence. The presence of bonding between platinum and thallium is supported by the short metal-metal separations and the strong low-energy luminescence of these compounds in their solid states.  相似文献

In order to explore possible ways for modulating the unusually rich chemistry shown by complexes of formula [L2Pt(mu-S)2PtL2] we have studied the influence of the nature of the terminal ligand L on the chemical properties of the {Pt2(mu-S)2} core. The systematic study we now report allows comparison of the behaviour of [Pt2(dpae)2(mu-S)2](dpae = Ph2As(CH2)2AsPh2) (1) with the already reported analogue [Pt2(dppe)2(mu-S)2](dppe = Ph2P(CH2)2PPh2). Complex 1 as well as the corresponding multimetallic derivatives [Pt(dpae){Pt2(dpae)2(mu-S)2}](BPh4)2 2, [M{Pt2(dpae)2(mu-S)2}2]X2 (M = Cu(II), X = BF4 3; M = Zn(II), X = BPh4 4; M = Cd(II), X = ClO4 5; M = Hg(II), X = Cl 6 or X2 = Cl(1.5)[HCl2](0.5) 6') have been characterized in the solid phase and in solution. Comparison of structural parameters of 1 and 3-6' with those of the corresponding phosphine analogues, together with the results of the electrochemical study for 1, allow us to conclude that replacement of dppe by dpae causes a decrease in basicity of the {Pt2(mu-S)2} core. The study of the reactivity of 1 towards CH2Cl2 and protic acids has led to the structural characterization of [Pt(dpae)(S2CH2)] 9 and [PtCl2(dpae)] 10. Moreover, comparison with the reactivity of [Pt2(dppe)2(mu-S)2] indicates that the stability of the intermediate species as well as the nature of the final products in both multistep reactions are sensitive to the nature of the terminal ligand.  相似文献

Platinum(II) complexes with (fluoren-9-ylidene)methanedithiolato and its 2,7-di-tert-butyl- and 2,7-dimethoxy-substituted analogues were obtained by reacting different chloroplatinum(II) precursors with the piperidinium dithioates (pipH)[(2,7-R2C12H6)CHCS2] [R = H (1a), t-Bu (1b), or OMe (1c)] in the presence of piperidine. The anionic complexes Q2[Pt{S(2)C=C(C12H6R(2)-2,7)}2] [R = H, (Pr(4)N)(2)2a; R = t-Bu, (Pr4N)(2)2b, (Et4N)(2)2b; R = OMe, (Pr4N)(2)2c] were prepared from PtCl(2), piperidine, the corresponding QCl salt, and 1a-c in molar ratio 1:2:2:2. In the absence of QCl, the complexes (pipH)(2)2b and [Pt(pip)(4)]2b were isolated depending on the PtCl(2):pip molar ratio. The neutral complexes [Pt{S2C=C(C12H6R(2)-2,7)L(2)] [L = PPh(3), R = H (3a), t-Bu (3b), OMe (3c); L = PEt(3), R = H (4a), t-Bu (4b), OMe (4c); L(2) = dbbpy, R = H (5a), t-Bu (5b), OMe (5c) (dbbpy = 4,4'-di-tert-butyl-2,2'-bipyridyl)] were similarly prepared from the corresponding precursors [PtCl2L2] and 1a-c in the presence of piperidine. Oxidation of Q(2)2b with [FeCp2]PF6 afforded the mixed Pt(II)-Pt(IV) complex Q2[Pt2{S2C=C[C12H6(t-Bu)(2)-2,7]}4] (Q(2)6, Q = Et4N+, Pr4N+). The protonation of (Pr4N)(2)2b with 2 equiv of triflic acid gave the neutral dithioato complex [Pt2{S2CCH[C12H6(t-Bu)(2)-2,7]}4] (7). The same reaction in 1:1 molar ratio gave the mixed dithiolato/dithioato complex Pr4N[Pt{S2C=C[C12H6(t-Bu)(2)-2,7]}{S2CCH[C12H6(t-Bu)(2)-2,7]}] (Pr(4)N8) while the corresponding DMANH+ salt was obtained by treating 7 with 2 equiv of 1,8-bis(dimethylamino)naphthalene (DMAN). The crystal structures of 3b and 5c.CH2Cl2 have been solved by X-ray crystallography. All the platinum complexes are photoluminescent at 77 K in CH2Cl2 or KBr matrix, except for Q(2)6. Compounds 5a-c and Q8 show room-temperature luminescence in fluid solution. The electronic absorption and emission spectra of the dithiolato complexes reveal charge-transfer absorption and emission energies which are significantly lower than those of analogous platinum complexes with previously described 1,1-ethylenedithiolato ligands and in most cases compare well to those of 1,2-dithiolene complexes.  相似文献

A series of heterometallic Pt-M (M=Zn and Cd) sulfide aggregates with growing nuclearities (Pt2M), (Pt4M), and (Pt4M2), viz., [ZnPt2Cl2(PPh3)4(mu3-S)2] (2), [CdPt2Cl2(PPh3)4(mu3-S)2] (3), [Pt2(PPh3)4(mu3-S)2]2[ZnSO4]2 (4), [Pt2(PPh3)4(mu3-S)2]2[CdSO4]2.H2O (5), [CdPt4(PPh3)8(mu3-S)4][ClO4]2 (7), and [ZnPt4(PPh3)8(mu3-S)4][ClO4]2 (8), have been prepared from Pt2(PPh3)4(mu-S)2 (1) with appropriate zinc and cadmium substrates. The structures have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The supporting anions play an active role in the structural assembly process. An unexpected disintegration complex [Pt2(S2CH2)Cl(PPh3)4][PF6] (6) has also been isolated and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The mechanism of the formation of 6 is proposed.  相似文献

Self-assembly between Pt(phen)(edt) (phen=phenanthroline, edt=1,2-ethanedithiolate) and [Cu(PPh3)2(MeCN)2](ClO4) (PPh3=triphenylphosphine) gave rise to formation of heterohexanuclear complex [Pt4Cu2(edt)4(PPh3)6](ClO4)2(4H2O) (1). The complex was characterized by elemental analyses, ES-MS, UV-Vis, IR, 31P NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography. The molecule consists of two [Pt2Cu(edt)2(PPh3)3] units which has a centrosymmmetric inversion to give a cyclic heterohexanuclear skeleton. The Pt and Cu center adopt square-planar and trigonal coordination modes, respectively. The compound shows intense emission at 632 nm in the solid state and at 678 nm in frozen dichloromethane glass at 77 K.  相似文献

The use of a strategy combining ligand design and changes of reaction conditions has been investigated with the goal of directing the assembly of mononuclear, dinuclear, tetranuclear, and polymeric copper(II) complexes. As a result, closely related copper monomers, alkoxo dimers, and hydroxo cubanes, along with a carbonate-bridged polymeric species, have been synthesized using the rigid, aliphatic amino ligands cis-3,5-diamino-trans-hydroxycyclohexane (DAHC), cis-3,5-diamino-trans-methoxycyclohexane (DAMC), and the glutaryl-linked derivative glutaric acid bis-(cis-3,5-diaminocyclohexyl) ester (GADACE). The composition of the monomeric complex has been determined by X-ray crystallography as [Cu(DAHC)2](ClO4)2 (1), the two dimers as [{Cu(DAHC)(OMe)}2](ClO4)2.MeOH (2) and [{Cu(DAMC)(OMe)(ClO4)}2] (3), the three Cu4O4 cubanes as [{Cu(DAHC)(OH)}4](ClO4)(4).2.5MeOH (4), [{Cu(DAMC)(OH)}4](ClO4)4.H2O (5), and [{Cu2(OH)2(GADACE)}2]Cl4.2MeOH.6H2O (6), and an infinite-chain structure as [{Cu(DAHC)(CO3)}n] (7). Furthermore, the cubane structures 4 and 5 have been investigated magnetically. Our studies indicate that formation of the monomeric, dimeric, and tetranuclear DAHC and DAMC complexes can be controlled by small changes in reaction conditions and that further preorganization of the ligand moiety by linking the DAHC cores (GADACE) allows more effective direction of the self-assembly of the Cu4O4 cubane core.  相似文献

[Pt(CSe3)(PR3)2] (PR3= PMe3, PMe2Ph, PPh3, P(p-tol)3, 1/2 dppp, 1/2 dppf) were all obtained by the reaction of the appropriate metal halide containing complex with carbon diselenide in liquid ammonia. Similar reaction with [Pt(Cl)2(dppe)] gave a mixture of triselenocarbonate and perselenocarbonate complexes. [{Pt(mu-CSe3)(PEt3)}4] was formed when the analogous procedure was carried out using [Pt(Cl)2(PEt3)2]. Further reaction of [Pt(CSe3)(PMe2Ph)2] with [M(CO)6] (M = Cr, W, Mo) yielded bimetallic species of the type [Pt(PMe2Ph)2(CSe3)M(CO)5] (M = Cr, W, Mo). The dimeric triselenocarbonate complexes [M{(CSe3)(eta5-C5Me5)}2] (M = Rh, Ir) and [{M(CSe3)(eta6-p-MeC6H4(i)Pr)}2] (M = Ru, Os) have been synthesised from the appropriate transition metal dimer starting material. The triselenocarbonate ligand is Se,Se' bidentate in the monomeric complexes. In the tetrameric structure the exocyclic selenium atoms link the four platinum centres together.  相似文献

The new pincer ligand 2,6-bis[(1,3-di-tert-butylimidazolin-2-imino)methyl]pyridine (TL(tBu)) has been prepared in high yield from 2,6-bis(hydroxymethyl)pyridine (1) and 1,3-di-tert-butylimidazolin-2-imine (3). Reaction of TL(tBu) with [Cu(MeCN)4]PF6 affords the highly reactive copper(I) complex [(TL(tBu))Cu]PF6, [5]PF6, which forms the stable copper(I) isocyanide complexes [6a]PF6 (nu(CN) = 2179 cm(-1)) and [6b]PF6 (nu(CN) = 2140 cm(-1)) upon addition of tert-butyl or 2,6-dimethylphenyl isocyanide, respectively. For the cations 6a and 6b, DFT calculations reveal ground-state electronic structures of the type [(TL(tBu)-kappaN(1):kappaN(2))Cu(CNR)] with tricoordinate geometries around the copper atoms. Exposure of [5]PF6 to the air readily leads to trapping of atmospheric CO2 to form the square-planar complex [(TL(tBu))Cu(HCO3-kappaO)]PF6, [7]PF6, with the bicarbonate ligand adopting a rarely observed monodentate coordination mode. In chlorinated solvents such as dichloromethane or chloroform, [5]PF(6) rapidly abstracts chloride by reductive dechlorination of the solvent to yield [(TL(tBu))CuCl]PF6, [8]PF6 quantitatively. Reaction of TL(tBu) with copper(I) bromide or chloride affords complexes 9a and 9b, respectively, for which X-ray diffraction analysis, low-temperature NMR experiments and DFT calculations reveal the presence of a kappa(2)-coordinated ligand of the type [(TL(tBu)-kappaN(1):kappaN(2))CuX]. In solution, complex 9b undergoes slow disproportionation forming the mixed-valence copper(II)/copper(I) system [(TL(tBu))CuCl][CuCl2], [8]CuCl2 with a linear dichlorocuprate(I) counterion.  相似文献

Reaction of chloranilic acid (H2ca) with [Os(bpy)2 Br2] (bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine) affords a dinuclear complex of type [{Os(bpy)2}2 (ca)]2+, isolated as the perchlorate salt. A similar reaction of H2ca with [Os(PPh3)2 (pap)Br2] (pap = 2-(phenylazo)pyridine) affords a dinuclear complex of type [{Os(PPh3)2 (pap)}2 (ca)]2+ (isolated as the perchlorate salt) and a mononuclear complex of type [Os(PPh3)2 (pap)(ca)]. Reaction of H2ca with [Os(PPh3)2(CO)2(HCOO)2] gives a dinuclear complex of type [{Os(PPh3)2(CO)2}2 (r-ca)], where r-ca is the two electron reduced form of the chloranilate ligand. The structures of the [{Os(PPh3)2 (pap)}2 (ca)](ClO4)2, [Os(PPh3)2 (pap)(ca)], and [{Os(PPh3)2(CO)2}2 (r-ca)] complexes have been determined by X-ray crystallography. In the [{Os(bpy)2}2 (ca)]2+ and [{Os(PPh3)2 (pap)}2 (ca)]2+ complexes, the chloranilate dianion is serving as a tetradentate bridging ligand. In the [Os(PPh3)2 (pap)(ca)] complex, the chloranilate dianion is serving as a bidentate chelating ligand. In the [{Os(PPh3)2(CO)2}2 (r-ca)] complex, the reduced form of the chloranilate ligand (r-ca(4-)) is serving as a tetradentate bridging ligand. All the four complexes are diamagnetic and show intense metal-to-ligand charge-transfer transitions in the visible region. The [Os(PPh3)2 (pap)(ca)] complex shows an Os(II)-Os(III) oxidation, followed by an Os(III)-Os(IV) oxidation on the positive side of a standard calomel electrode. The three dinuclear complexes show two successive oxidations on the positive side of SCE. The mixed-valent Os(II)-Os(III) species have been generated in the case of the two chloranilate-bridged complexes by coulometric oxidation of the homovalent Os(II)-Os(II) species. The mixed-valent Os(II)-Os(III) species show intense intervalence charge-transfer transitions in the near-IR region.  相似文献

Reaction of equimolar amounts of AgCN and PCy3 gave the polymer [(Cy3P)Ag(NCAgCN)]infinity (1), whereas employment of excess PCy3 yielded the discrete compound [(Cy3P)2Ag(NCAgCN)] (2). Reacting bis(dicyclohexylphosphino)methane (dcpm) with AgCN in 1:1 and 1:2 molar ratios gave two crystalline forms, namely [Ag2(mu-dcpm)2][Ag(CN)2]2 x (CH3OH)2 (3a x (CH3OH)2) and [Ag2(mu-dcpm)2][Ag(CN)2]2 (3b), respectively. The similar reaction of CuCN with PCy3 afforded the polymeric compound [{(Cy3P)Cu(CN)}3]infinity (4), whereas treatment of CuCN with dcpm gave [Cu2(mu-dcpm)2(CN)2] (5). Employment of diphosphine ligands with longer -(CH2)n- spacers, such as 1,2-bis(dicyclohexylphosphino)ethane (dcpe, n = 2) and 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane (dppp, n = 3), in reactions with [Cu(CH3CN)4]PF6 and KCN afforded the macrocylic compounds [{Cu(dcpe)}2(CN)(mu-dcpe)]PF6 (6(PF6)) and [{Cu(dppp)}3(CN)2(mu-dppp)]PF6 (7(PF6)), respectively. The hexanuclear complex [Cu(CN)(PCy3)]6 (8) was obtained by reacting CuCN with PCy3 in the presence of sodium pyridine-2-thiolate. The UV-vis absorption spectrum of 1 in acetonitrile displays a weak shoulder at 245 nm (epsilon = 350 dm3 mol(-1) cm(-1)). For 3a, 3b, and 5, the intense absorption bands at lambdamax = 257-276 nm with epsilon values of (1.73-1.80) x 10(4) dm3 mol(-1) cm(-1) are assigned to [ndsigma --> (n + 1)psigma] transitions. Complexes 3a and 3b emit at lambdamax = 365 nm in CH3CN (quantum yield approximately 6 x10(-3), lifetime approximately 0.2 micros). The solid-state emission of 5 (lambdamax = 470 and 488 nm at 298 and 77 K) is red-shifted in energy from that of 4 (lambdamax = 401 and 405 nm at 298 and 77 K, respectively). In 77 K MeOH/EtOH (1:4) glassy solution, complexes 4-8 display intense emission with lambdamax at 382-416 nm, which is assigned to the [3d --> (4s, 4p)] triplet excited state.  相似文献

When the ortho-metallated complexes cis-[Pt(kappa(2)-C6H3-5-R-2-PPh2)2] (R = H 1, Me 2) are either heated in toluene or treated with CO at room temperature, one of the four-membered chelate rings is opened irreversibly to give dinuclear isomers [Pt2(kappa(2)-C6H3-5-R-2-PPh2)2(mu-C6H3-5-R-2-PPh2)2] (R = H 10, Me 11). A single-crystal X-ray diffraction study shows the Pt...Pt separation in 10 to be 3.3875(4) A. By-products of the reactions of 1 and 2 with CO are polymeric isomers (R = H 13, Me 14) in which one of the P-C ligands is believed to bridge adjacent platinum atoms intermolecularly. In contrast to the behaviour of 1 and 2, when cis-[Pt(kappa(2)-C6H3-6-Me-2-PPh2)2] (cis-3) is heated in toluene, the main product is trans-3, and reaction of cis-3 with CO gives a carbonyl complex [Pt(CO)(kappa(1)-C-C6H3-6-Me-2-PPh2)(2-C6H3-6-Me-2-PPh2)] 15, in which one of the carbanions is coordinated only through the carbon. Formation of a dimer analogous to 10 or 11 is sterically hindered by the 6-methyl substituent. Comproportionation of 1 or 2 with [Pt(PPh3)2L] (L = PPh3, C2H4) gives diplatinum(I) complexes [Pt2(mu-C6H3-5-R-2-PPh2)2(PPh3)2] (R = H 16, Me 17). An X-ray diffraction study shows that 17 contains a pair of planar-coordinated metal atoms separated by 2.61762(16) A. There is no evidence for the formation of an analogue containing mu-C6H3-6-Me-2-PPh2. The axial PPh3 ligands of 16 are readily replaced by ButNC giving [Pt2(mu-2-C6H4PPh2)2(CNBut)2] 18, which is protonated by HBF4 to form a mu-hydridodiplatinum(II) salt [Pt2(mu-H)(mu-2-C6H4PPh2)2(CNBut)2]BF4 [21]BF4. The J(PtPt) values in [21]BF4 and 18, 2700 Hz and 4421 Hz, respectively, reflect the weakening of the Pt-Pt interaction caused by protonation. Similarly, 16 and 17 react with the electrophiles iodine and strong acids to give salts of general formula [Pt2(mu-Z)(mu-C6H3-5-R-2-PPh2)2(PPh3)2]Y (Y = Z = I, R = H 19+, Me 20+; Z = H, Y = BF4, PF6, OTf, R = H 22+; Z = H, Y = PF6, R = Me 23+). A single-crystal X-ray diffraction study of [23]PF6 shows that the cation has an approximately A-frame geometry, with a Pt-Pt separation of 2.7888(3) A and a Pt-H bond length of 1.62(1) A, and that the 5-methyl substituents have undergone partial exchange with the 4-hydrogen atoms of the PPh2 groups of the bridging carbanion. The latter observation indicates that the added proton of [23]+ undergoes a reversible reductive elimination-oxidative addition sequence with the Pt-C(aryl) bonds.  相似文献

The preparation of a number of binuclear (salen)osmium phosphinidine and phosphiniminato complexes using various strategies are described. Treatment of [Os(VI)(N)(L(1))(sol)](X) (sol = H(2)O or MeOH) with PPh(3) affords an osmium(IV) phosphinidine complex [Os(IV){N(H)PPh(3)}(L(1))(OMe)](X) (X = PF(6)1a, ClO(4)1b). If the reaction is carried out in CH(2)Cl(2) in the presence of excess pyrazine the osmium(III) phosphinidine species [Os(III){N(H)PPh(3)}(L(1))(pz)](PF(6)) 2 can be generated. On the other hand, if the reaction is carried out in CH(2)Cl(2) in the presence of a small amount of H(2)O, a μ-oxo osmium(IV) phosphinidine complex is obtained, [(L(1)){PPh(3)N(H)}Os(IV)-O-Os(IV){N(H)PPh(3)}(L(1))](PF(6))(2)3. Furthermore, if the reaction of [Os(VI)(N)(L(1))(OH(2))]PF(6) with PPh(3) is done in the presence of 2, the μ-pyrazine species, [(L(1)){PPh(3)N(H)}Os(III)-pz-Os(III){N(H)PPh(3)}(L(1))](PF(6))(2)4 can be isolated. Novel binuclear osmium(IV) complexes can be prepared by the use of a diphosphine ligand to attack two Os(VI)≡N. Reaction of [Os(VI)(N)(L(1))(OH(2))](PF(6)) with PPh(2)-C≡C-PPh(2) or PPh(2)-(CH(2))(3)-PPh(2) in MeOH affords the binuclear complexes [(MeO)(L(1))Os(IV){N(H)PPh(2)-R-PPh(2)N(H)}Os(IV)(L(1))(OMe)](PF(6))(2) (R = C≡C 5, (CH(2))(3)6). Reaction of [Os(VI)(N)(L(2))Cl] with PPh(2)FcPPh(2) generates a novel trimetallic complex, [Cl(L(2))Os(IV){NPPh(2)-Fc-PPh(2)N}Os(IV)(L(2))Cl] 7. The structures of 1b, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 have been determined by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

Three heterometallic Au-Pt complexes [Pt2(PPh3)4(mu-S)(mu 3-S)Au(PPh3)][PF6] (2), [Pt2(PPh3)4(mu 3-S)2Au2(mu-dppm)]-[PF6]2 (3), and [Pt2(PPh3)4(mu 3-S)2Au2(mu-dppf)][PF6]2 (4) have been synthesized from Pt2(PPh3)4(mu-S)2 (1) [dppm = Ph2PCH2PPh2; dppf = (C5H4PPh2)2Fe] and characterized by single-crystal X-ray crystallography. In 2, the Au(I) atom is anchored on only one of the sulfur centers. In 3 and 4, both sulfur atoms are aurated, showing the ability of 1 to support an overhead bridge structure, viz. [Au2(P-P)], with or without the presence of Au-Au bond. The change of dppf to dppm facilitates such active interactions. Two stereoisomers of complex 3 (3a,b) have been obtained and characterized by single-crystal X-ray crystallography. NLDFT calculations on 2 show that the linear coordination mode is stabilized with respect to the trigonal planar mode by 14.0 kJ/mol. All complexes (2-4) are fluxional in solution with different mechanisms. In 2, the [Au(PPh3)] fragment switches rapidly between the two sulfur sites. Our hybrid MM-NLDFT calculations found a transition state in which the Au(I) bears an irregular trigonal planar geometry (delta G++ = 19.9 kJ/mol), as well as an intermediate in which Au(I) adopts a regular trigonal planar geometry. Complexes 3a,b are roughly diastereoisomeric and related by sigma (mirror plane) conversion. This symmetry operation can be broken down to two mutually dependent fluxional processes: (i) rapid flipping of the dppm methylene group across the molecular plane defined by the overhead bridge; (ii) rocking motion of the two Au atoms across the S...S axis of the (Pt2S2) core. Modeling of the former by molecular mechanics yields a steric barrier of 29.0 kJ/mol, close to that obtained from variable-temperature 31P(1Hz) NMR study (33.7 kJ/mol). In 4, the twisting of the ferrocenyl moiety across the S...S axis is in concert with a rocking motion of the two gold atoms. The movement of dppf is sterically most demanding, and hence, 4 is the only complex that shows a static structure at lower temperatures. Pertinent crystallographic data: (2) space group P1, a = 15.0340(5) A, b = 15.5009(5) A, c = 21.9604(7) A, alpha = 74.805(1) degrees, beta = 85.733(1) degrees, gamma = 78.553(1) degrees, R = 0.0500; (3a) space group Pna2(1), a = 32.0538(4) A, b = 16.0822(3) A, c = 18.9388(3) A, R = 0.0347; (3b) space group Pna2(1), a = 31.950(2) A, b = 16.0157(8) A, c = 18.8460(9) A, R = 0.0478; (4) space group P2(1)/c, a = 13.8668(2) A, b = 51.7754(4) A, c = 15.9660(2) A, beta = 113.786(1) degrees, R = 0.0649.  相似文献

The heterotrinuclear chain complex Hg[Fe{Si(OMe)(3)}(CO)(3)(dppm-P)](2) (dppm = Ph(2)PCH(2)PPh(2)) 1 which has a transoid arrangement of the phosphine donors was used as a versatile chelating metallodiphosphine ligand owing to the easy rotation of its metal core about the Fe-Hg sigma-bonds. Its reaction with the labile Pt(0) olefin complex [Pt(C(7)H(10))(3)] yielded [HgPt{Si(OMe)(3)}Fe(2)(CO)(6){Si(OMe)(3)}(mu-dppm)(2)] 5 which resulted, after coordination of the dangling phosphine donors to Pt, from an unprecedented intramolecular rearrangement involving a very rare example of silyl ligand migration between two different metal centers, and the first one in metal cluster chemistry. The major structural differences observed between the heterometallic complexes obtained from 1 and d(10) Cu(I), Pd(0), or Pt(0) precursors have been established by X-ray diffraction. The bonding situation in the silyl migrated Pt complex 5 was analyzed and compared to those in the isoelectronic, but structurally distinct complexes obtained from Cu(I) and Pd(0) precursors, [Hg{Fe[Si(OMe)(3)](CO)(3)(mu-dppm)}(2)Cu](+) (2) and [Hg{Fe[Si(OMe)(3)](CO)(3)(mu-dppm)}(2)Pd] (4), respectively, by means of extended Hückel interaction diagrams. DFT calculations then allowed the energy minima associated with the three structures to be compared for 2, 4, and 5. All three minima are in close competition for the Pd complex 4, but silyl migration is favored by approximately 10 kcal mol(-)(1) for 5, mainly due to the more electronegative character of Pt with respect to Pd.  相似文献

Reaction of [Pt(CH3)2(COD)] (COD = 1,5-cyclooctadiene) with Ph2PCCCCPPh2 led to a mixture of [{Pt(CH3)2}2(mu-Ph2PC4PPh2)2] (1) and [{Pt(CH3)2}3(mu-Ph2PC4PPh2)3] (2). Reaction of [PtCl2(COD)] with Ph2PCCCCPPh2 led to a mixture of the thermally unstable compounds [{PtCl2}2(mu-Ph2PC4PPh2)2] (3) and [{PtCl2}3(mu-Ph2PC4PPh2)3] (4) which transform into [{PtMe2}2{mu-C8(PPh2)4}] (5) and [{PtMe2}3{mu3-C12(PPh2)6}] (6) containing 8-membered diene-diyne and 12-membered triene-triyne rings, respectively. Compound 2 can be converted to [{PtMe2}3{C12(PPh2)6}] (7) by heating with CuCl at 80 degrees C, while 1 can be heated without significant cycloaddition.  相似文献

A number of pivalamidate bridged dinuclear [PtII2(RNH2)4(NHCOtBu)2]2+, [PtIII2LL (RNH2)4(NHCOtBu)2]n+ (2RNH2 = 2NH3, 1,2-ethylenediamine, 1,2-diaminocyclohexane; L, L' = NO3-, H2O, or ketonate), trinuclear [{PtII(dap)(NHCOtBu)2}2PdIII]3+ (dap = 1,2-diaminopropane), tetranuclear [{PtII2(NH3)2(DACH)(NHCOtBu)2}2]4+ (DACH = 1,2-diaminocyclohexane), pentanuclear [{Pt2(C5H7O)(NH3)2Cl2(NHCOtBu)2}2PtCl4], and hexanuclear [Pt2(NH3)2(en)(NHCOtBu)2Pt(NO2)4]2 platinum complexes containing Pt(II)-Pt(II), Pt(II)-Pt(III), Pt(II)-Pd(III), and Pt(III)-Pt(III) interactions have been prepared and structurally characterized. The Pt-Pt interactions are characteristic of covalent, dative, or orbital symmetric Pt-Pt bonds. The dimeric Pt(III) complexes are able to activate C-H bonds of ketones to afford ketonate platinum(III) complexes. The Pt-Pt bonds are either doubly amidate-bridged or ligand unsupported. Their distances are 2.99-3.22 A for Pt(II)-Pt(II), 2.59-2.72 A for Pt(III)-Pt(III), 2.98 A for Pt(II)-Pt(III), and 2.66 A for Pt(II)-Pd(III) bonds depending on the oxidation states of the two metals and the ancillary ligands.  相似文献
