We present a systematic way to generate critically finite endomorphisms of Pn. These maps arise in the context of Teichmüller theory, specifically in Thurston?s topological characterization of rational maps. The dynamical objects for the endomorphisms correspond to central objects from Thurston?s theorem. Our theorems build infinitely many of these endomorphisms; in fact, a large number of examples of critically finite endomorphisms of Pn found in the literature arise from this construction. 相似文献

By making use of the symplectic reduction and the cohomogeneity method, we give a general method for constructing Hamiltonian minimal Lagrangian submanifolds in Kaehler manifolds with symmetries. Inspired by results of Guardo, Van Tuyl and the second author for lines in P3, we develop asymptotic upper bounds for the least degree of a homogeneous form vanishing to order at least m on a union of disjoint r -dimensional planes in Pn for n?2r+1. These considerations lead to new conjectures that suggest that the well known conjecture of Nagata for points in P2 is not an exotic statement but rather a manifestation of a much more general phenomenon which seems to have been overlooked so far. 相似文献

Based on [19], we develop a global correspondence between immersed hypersurfaces ?:Mn→Hn+1 satisfying an exterior horosphere condition, also called here horospherically concave hypersurfaces, and complete conformal metrics e2ρgSn on domains Ω in the boundary Sn at infinity of Hn+1, where ρ is the horospherical support function, ∂∞?(Mn)=∂Ω, and Ω is the image of the Gauss map G:Mn→Sn. To do so we first establish results on when the Gauss map G:Mn→Sn is injective. We also discuss when an immersed horospherically concave hypersurface can be unfolded along the normal flow into an embedded one. These results allow us to establish general Alexandrov reflection principles for elliptic problems of both immersed hypersurfaces in Hn+1 and conformal metrics on domains in Sn. Consequently, we are able to obtain, for instance, a strong Bernstein theorem for a complete, immersed, horospherically concave hypersurface in Hn+1 of constant mean curvature. 相似文献

Let P(D) be a nonnegative homogeneous elliptic operator of order 2m with real constant coefficients on Rn and V be a suitable real measurable function. In this paper, we are mainly devoted to establish the Gaussian upper bound for Schrödinger type semigroup e−tH generated by H=P(D)+V with Kato type perturbing potential V , which naturally generalizes the classical result for Schrödinger semigroup e−t(Δ+V) as V∈K2(Rn), the famous Kato potential class. Our proof significantly depends on the analyticity of the free semigroup e−tP(D) on L1(Rn). As a consequence of the Gaussian upper bound, the Lp-spectral independence of H is concluded. 相似文献

Let F be either the real number field R or the complex number field C and RPn the real projective space of dimension n. Theorems A and C in Hemmi and Kobayashi (2008) [2] give necessary and sufficient conditions for a given F-vector bundle over RPn to be stably extendible to RPm for every m?n. In this paper, we simplify the theorems and apply them to the tangent bundle of RPn, its complexification, the normal bundle associated to an immersion of RPn in Rn+r(r>0), and its complexification. Our result for the normal bundle is a generalization of Theorem A in Kobayashi et al. (2000) [8] and that for its complexification is a generalization of Theorem 1 in Kobayashi and Yoshida (2003) [5]. 相似文献

Pullback attractors of non-autonomous stochastic degenerate parabolic equations on unbounded domains
This paper is concerned with pullback attractors of the stochastic p -Laplace equation defined on the entire space Rn. We first establish the asymptotic compactness of the equation in L2(Rn) and then prove the existence and uniqueness of non-autonomous random attractors. This attractor is pathwise periodic if the non-autonomous deterministic forcing is time periodic. The difficulty of non-compactness of Sobolev embeddings on Rn is overcome by the uniform smallness of solutions outside a bounded domain. 相似文献

This paper is devoted to construct a family of fifth degree cubature formulae for n-cube with symmetric measure and n-dimensional spherically symmetrical region. The formula forn-cube contains at most n2+5n+3 points and for n-dimensional spherically symmetrical region contains only n2+3n+3 points. We study the long-time behavior of solutions to nonlinear Schrödinger equations with some critical rough potential of a|x|−2 type. The new ingredients are the interaction Morawetz-type inequalities and Sobolev norm property associated with Pa=−Δ+a|x|−2. The aim of this work is to contribute to the classification of projective varieties according to their representation type, providing examples of n -dimensional varieties of wild representation type, for arbitrary n?2. More precisely, we prove that all Fano blow-ups of Pn at a finite number of points are of wild representation type exhibiting families of dimension of order r2 of simple (hence, indecomposable) ACM rank r vector bundles for any r?n. The purpose of this paper is to study a class of quotient modules of the Hardy module H2(Dn). Along with the two variables quotient modules introduced by W. Rudin, we introduce and study a large class of quotient modules, namely Rudin's quotient modules of H2(Dn). Hadwiger’s Theorem states that En-invariant convex-continuous valuations of definable sets in Rn are linear combinations of intrinsic volumes. We lift this result from sets to data distributions over sets, specifically, to definable R-valued functions on Rn.
