The (13)C and (15)N CPMAS NMR spectra of 18 pyrazoles substituted at position 1 by dinitrophenyl and trinitrophenyl (picryl) groups have been recorded. To help in the assignments, some of these compounds were studied in DMSO-d(6) solution. Phenomena such as the conformation of the N-aryl groups and broadening of splittings due to quadrupolar nuclei are discussed.  相似文献

NMR spectroscopic studies are undertaken with derivatives of 2‐pyrazinecarboxylic acid. Complete and unambiguous assignment of chemical shifts (1H, 13C, 15N) and coupling constants (1H,1H; 13C,1H; 15N,1H) is achieved by combined application of various 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic techniques. Unequivocal mapping of 13C,1H spin coupling constants is accomplished by 2D (δ,J) long‐range INEPT spectra with selective excitation. NMR chemical shifts of 1H, 13C, and 73Ge are reported for a series of monosubstituted aromatic trimethylgermanes of the type XC6H4Ge(CH3)3; X = p-N(CH3)2, p-OCH3, p-OC2H5, p-C(CH3)3, p-Si(CH3)3, p-Ge(CH3)3, p-Sn(CH3)3, p-CH3, m-CH3, -H, m-OCH3, p-Cl, p-Br, m-F, m-CF3, p-CF3, o-OCH3, and o-CH3. The relatively narrow 73Ge resonances show a strong correlation with Hammett sigma constants, with a correlation coefficient of 0.976 and 0.876 for 73Ge chemical shifts in meta- and para-substituted derivatives, respectively. The 13C chemical shifts of the methyl carbons bonded to germanium also display a relationship, with correlation coefficients of 0.904, 0.993, and 0.911 for para-, meta- and all derivatives, respectively. Comparisons of the Hammett plots for the homologous series XC6H4M(CH3)3; M = C, Si, Ge, Sn, show that, in general, correlation coefficients decrease while slopes increase significantly down the group, presumably reflecting the corresponding increase in chemical shift range of the group 14 atom. The Hammett constant derived for the p-Ge(CH3)3 group of +0.13 compares with the NMR-derived constants of -0.12 for p-C(CH3)3, +0.14 for p-Si(CH3)3, and -0.14 for p-Sn(CH3)3. The indication of electron release by carbon and tin can be rationalized through traditional hyperconjugative arguments for carbon and by the low electronegativity and consequent inductive effect of tin. The small electron attraction suggested by the positive constants for silicon and germanium can be simply, and perhaps naively, attributed to pi-acceptor interactions with the benzene ring.  相似文献

Morellic and isomorellic acids (2 and 3), present in the seed coat as well as resinous exudate of Garcinia morella Desr., are geometric isomers and structurally related to morellin (1), the major chromenoxanthone pigment. Both form crystalline complexes with pyridine and afford guttiferic acid (7), a novel skeletal rearrangement product, when heated with mild alkali. Structure of the latter has been deduced mainly by a comparative study of 1H and 13C NMR spectra of methyl morellate (5), methyl-O-methyl morellate (6), guttiferic acid (7) and dimethyl guttiferate (8).  相似文献

Schemes for sensitive measurements of spin-spin coupling constants between rare nuclei with low magnetogyric ratios are considered and two combinations of INEPT with gradient versions of (X,Y)HMQC and (X,Y)COSY are suggested as particularly suitable for 29Si,13C couplings. It is demonstrated that the (H,Si)INEPT-(Si,C,Si)gHMQC combination (with 29Si detection) produces excellent results even though it is theoretically inferior to the (H,Si)INEPT-(Si,C)gCOSY combination (with 13C detection).  相似文献

Complete 1H, 13C, 19F and 11B NMR spectral data for 28 potassium organotrifluoroborates are described. The resonance for the carbon bearing the boron atom is described for most of the studied compounds. A modified 11B NMR pulse sequence was used and better resolution was observed allowing the observation of 11B–19F coupling constants for some of the studied compounds. Natural product-observed NMR methods have considerably expanded the potentialities for in-tube NMR monitoring of complex enzymatic biotransformations and investigation of protein-natural product interactions even in living cells. We review, herein, the significant advantages of ligand-observed in-situ NMR monitoring of enzymatic biotransformations without restoring to laborious and time-consuming chromatographic methods. Emphasis will be given to the potentialities of the use of the NMR bioreactor: (i) to investigate through saturation transfer difference (STD), the capacity of natural products to serve as enzyme substrates, (ii) to monitor multiple biotransformation products of natural products with the use of immobilized enzymes and (iii) to investigate interactions of biotransformed products with protein targets. The use of STD and its variants, transfer effect Noes for PHArmacophore Mapping (INPHARMA) NMR, in conjunction with computational methods, can provide excellent tools in investigating competitive binding modes even in proteins with multiple binding sites. The method has been successfully applied in the study of unsaturated free fatty acids (UFFAs)-serum albumin complexes in which the location and conformational states of UFFAs could not be determined accurately, despite numerous X-ray structural studies, due to conformational averaging. This combined method, thus, may find promising applications in the field of protein-natural product recognition research. The emerging concept of in-cell NMR and recent applications will be discussed since they can provide atomic level insights into natural product-protein interactions in living cells without the need of isotope labelled techniques.  相似文献

The NMR spectroscopic data of a series of thirty‐four 3‐acylpyrido[1,2‐a]pyrimidinium salts are analyzed, which were prepared as either perchlorates or chlorides. Methyl group substituted 3‐aroyltetrahydropyrido[1,2‐a]pyrimidines with the methyl substituent in positions 6, 8 and 9 as well as both in positions 6 and 8 were investigated bearing various aroyl substituents. Unequivocal assignment of all resonances was achieved via two‐dimensional 1H,1H‐COSY measurements, 1H,13C and 1H,15N HSQC as well as HMBC experiments, and important diagnostic CH and NH couplings in the heteroaromatic ring system are evaluated. The influence of the methyl substituents was analyzed on the proton, carbon and nitrogen shifts. A significant effect of the counter ion on some chemical shifts of the nuclei under discussion of the pyridopyrimidines is found, allowing the indirect detection of the anion, which is confirmed by direct measurement of the 35Cl nucleus of the perchlorates. NMR techniques cannot unambiguously distinguish between 11-amino-8-hydroxypentacyclo[5.4.0.0(2, 6).0(3, 10).0(5, 9)]undecane-8,11-lactam and 8-amino-11-hydroxypentacyclo[5.4.0.0(2, 6).0(3, 10).0(5, 9)]undecane-8,11-lactam, both of which are possible products during the reaction of pentacyclo[5.4.0.0(2, 6).0(3, 10).0(5, 9)]undecane-8,11-dione with Strecker reagents. Treatment of 11-amino-8-hydroxy-pentacyclo[5.4.0.0(2, 6).0(3, 10).0(5, 9)]undecane-8,11-lactam with acetic anhydride at room temperature produced a monoacetate. With acetic anhydride containing sodium acetate, a triacetate was obtained at reflux temperature. Treatment with acetyl chloride and N,N-dimethylaniline produced a diacetate. High-field 1H and 13C NMR techniques were used in the structure elucidation and assignment of the different NMR resonances of these three acetylated compounds.  相似文献

Experiments for 1H‐detected heteronuclear 1H,X correlation spectroscopy with 31P‐relayed coherence transfer are described which allow the indirect detection of δX and nJ(X,P) even in the absence of a direct J(X,H) coupling. The integration of 1H and 13C NMR spectra, at - 90 degrees C in CS2/CD2Cl2 (9:1), for the trans-3-chlorocyclohexanol (1), trans-3-bromocyclohexanol (2), and trans-3-methoxycyclohexanol (4) showed that the equatorial-axial (ea) conformer occurs as ca 63, 63, and 69% in the conformational equilibrium, respectively. This corresponds to the following DeltaG(ea-ae) values (from (1)H spectrum): - 0.32 +/- 0.01, - 0.32 +/- 0.04, - 0.48 +/- 0.05 kcal mol(-1); and to (from 13C spectrum): - 0.31 +/- 0.04, - 0.35 +/- 0.05, and - 0.44 +/- 0.01 kcal mol(-1), respectively, in very good agreement within both series. Thus, although bromine is bulkier than chlorine, the 1,3-diaxial steric effects are similar in these equilibria. However, the integration of (1)H NMR spectrum for the trans-3-methylcyclohexanol (3) gave 90% of the 3ae conformer in the equilibrium, at - 90 degrees C on CS2/CD2Cl2 (9:1), corresponding to a DeltaG(ea-ae) value of 1.31 +/- 0.02 kcal mol(-1). The values obtained through the additivity rule, with data from monosubstituted cyclohexanes (DeltaG(Ad) = DeltaG(X) + DeltaG(OH)), for compounds 1, 2, and 4 (-0.37 +/- 0.15, - 0.34 +/- 0.09, and - 0.46 +/- 0.04 kcal mol(-1), respectively) are in very good agreement with the experimental values, but it is significantly smaller for compound 3 (0.79 +/- 0.02 kcal mol(-1)). Theoretical calculations through different levels of theory (HF/6-311 + g**, B3LYP/6-311 + g**, MP2/6-31 + g**, and CBS-4M) showed that CBS-4M is the best method for the study of conformational equilibria for these systems, since it provides DeltaG(ea-ae) values similar to the experimental values.  相似文献

NMR relaxation measurement of perfluorocarbons (PFCs), such as perfluorotributylamine (FTBA), is a convenient method for the determination of oxygen concentrations in tissues and tumors. Previous relaxation studies of FTBA used different 19F NMR assignments causing some confusion. Fluorine‐detected 19F, 13C HMQC and HMBC and selectively 19F‐decoupled 13C NMR provided unequivocal 19F and 13C assignments for FTBA and perfluoropentanoic acid (FPA). Based on those assignments, 13C spin–lattice relaxation time constants (T1) and effective correlation times for FTBA and FPA are reported and discussed. Nuclear magnetic resonances of alkali nuclei,7Li,23Na, and133Cs, as well as far infrared measurements are used to study alkali complexes of a bicyclic diazapolyoxa ligand—the dilactam of cryptand C222. Measurements were carried out in pyridine, tetrahydrofuran, acetonitrile, nitromethane, dimethylformamide, and aqueous solutions. The complexing ability of the dilactam is similar to, but weaker than, that of the cryptand C222. The limiting chemical shifts of the complexed cations were solvent-dependent, indicating incomplete enclosure of the cation by the ligand. Formation constants of Li+ and Cs+ complexes were calculated from the chemical-shift dependence on the ligand/metal ion mole ratio.  相似文献

Mesomeric heteropentalene betaines are conjugated fused polyheterocyclic structures that represent interesting intermediates for organic synthesis. Five such structures, containing at least four nitrogen atoms and various substituents, have been characterized by 1H, 13C and 15N NMR. We report, apparently for the first time, nitrogen NMR data and coupling information on such systems. Inter‐ring long‐range correlations across five bonds with 15N (5JHN) and up to seven bonds with 13C (6JHC and 7JHC) were observed in HSQC experiments. The incorporation of an electron‐withdrawing substituent such as NO2 was observed to cause an increase in the magnitude of the remote couplings and deshielding of nearby protons, carbons and on all nitrogen atoms of the structure, including remote ones situated on other cycles. Recently reported triple‐resonance Y‐relayed 1H,X correlation experiments have been utilized to characterize 183W and 57Fe chemical shifts using 119Sn as the Y‐relaying nucleus instead of the previously used 31P. Application of an adaptation of Gudat's original INEPT/HMQC sequence results in a significant enhancement of the signal‐to‐noise (S/N) ratio for two‐dimensional 119Sn‐relayed 1H,183W and 1H, 57Fe correlation spectra with efficient detection of the transition metal nucleus in tungsten and iron complexes lacking an observable direct scalar coupling between the transition metal and any hydrogen nuclei. Strengths and shortcomings of the novel sequence and the original sequences reported by Gudat are discussed in the context of 119Sn‐relayed proton detection of very low frequency transition metal nuclei. We recorded both carbon-13 and nitrogen-15 NMR spectra of the three solid forms of sulfanilamide most commonly known. This study led to an interpretation of the solid-state effects seen in cross-polarization magic angle spinning spectra. Relaxation times for the different forms were measured. These show different behaviour for the three forms, arising from mobility variations. To obtain information on local environments, static spectra and spinning sideband manifolds were recorded and analysed for the 15N resonances, using isotopically enriched samples. Shielding asymmetries and anisotropies for the two nitrogen nuclei were obtained, showing very different behaviour for the two sites. Shielding calculations were carried out for both 13C and 15N nuclei, and the results are discussed in relation to the experimental values.  相似文献

Three new furan and pyran derivatives named aspericins A? C (1–3), as well as a known asperic acid (4), have been isolated from the marine‐derived fungus Rhizopus sp. 2‐PDA‐61. The complete 1H and 13C NMR assignments for the new compounds were carried out using 1H, 13C, DEPT, COSY, HMQC, HMBC, and NOESY NMR experiments.
