A series of α‐keto‐β‐diimine nickel complexes (Ar‐N = C(CH3)‐C(O)‐C(CH3)=N‐Ar)NiBr2; Ar = 2,6‐R‐C6H3‐, R = Me, Et, iPr, and Ar = 2,4,6‐Me3‐C6H3‐) was prepared. All corresponding ligands are unstable even under an inert atmosphere and in a freezer. Stable copper complex intermediates of ligand synthesis and ethyl substituted nickel complex were isolated and characterized by X‐ray. All nickel complexes were used for the polymerization of ethene, propylene, and hex‐1‐ene to investigate their livingness and the extent of chain‐walking. Low‐temperature propene polymerization with less bulky ortho‐substituents was less isospecific than the one with isopropyl derivative. Propene stereoblock copolymers were prepared by iPr derivative combining the polymerization at low temperature to prepare isotactic polypropylene (PP) block and at a higher temperature, supporting chain‐walking, to obtain amorphous regioirregular PP block. Alternatively, a copolymerization of propene with ethene was used for the preparation of amorphous block. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Sci., Part A: Polym. The η2‐thio‐indium complexes [In(η2‐thio)3] (thio = S2CNC5H10, 2 ; SNC4H4, (pyridine‐2‐thionate, pyS, 3 ) and [In(η2‐pyS)22‐acac)], 4 , (acac: acetylacetonate) are prepared by reacting the tris(η2‐acac)indium complex [In(η2‐acac)3], 1 with HS2CNC5H10, pySH, and pySH with ratios of 1:3, 1:3, and 1:2 in dichloromethane at room temperature, respectively. All of these complexes are identified by spectroscopic methods and complexes 2 and 3 are determined by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. Crystal data for 2 : space group, C2/c with a = 13.5489(8) Å, b = 12.1821(7) Å, c = 16.0893(10) Å, β = 101.654(1)°, V = 2600.9(3) Å3, and Z = 4. The structure was refined to R = 0.033 and Rw = 0.086; Crystal data for 3 : space group, P21 with a = 8.8064 (6) Å, b = 11.7047 (8) Å, c = 9.4046 (7) Å, β = 114.78 (1)°, V = 880.13(11) Å3, and Z = 2. The structure was refined to R = 0.030 and Rw = 0.061. The geometry around the metal atom of the two complexes is a trigonal prismatic coordination. The piperidinyldithiocarbamate and pyridine‐2‐thionate ligands, respectively, coordinate to the indium metal center through the two sulfur atoms and one sulfur and one nitrogen atoms, respectively. The short C‐N bond length in the range of 1.322(4)–1.381(6) Å in 2 and C‐S bond length in the range of 1.715(2)–1.753(6) Å in 2 and 3 , respectively, indicate considerable partial double bond character.  相似文献

Two series of novel crosslinked siloxane‐based polymers and their complexes with lithium perchlorate (LiClO4) were prepared and characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, solid‐state NMR (13C, 29Si, and 7Li nuclei), and differential scanning calorimetry. Their thermal stability and ionic conductivity of these complexes were also investigated by thermogravimetric and AC impedance measurements. In these polymer networks, poly(propylene oxide) chains with different molecular weights were introduced through self‐synthesized epoxy‐siloxane precursors cured with two curing agents. The glass‐transition temperature (Tg) of these copolymers is dependent on the length of the ether units. The dissolution of LiClO4 considerably increases the Tg of the polyether segments. The dependence of the ionic conductivity was investigated as a function of temperature, LiClO4 concentration, and the molecular weight of the polyether segments. The ion‐transport behavior was affected by the combination of the ionic mobility and number of carrier ions. The 7Li solid‐state NMR line shapes of these polymer complexes suggest a significant interaction between Li+ ions and the polymer matrix, and temperature‐ and LiClO4 concentration‐dependent chemical shifts are correlated with ionic conductivity. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Abstract. Two metal‐organic coordination polymers [Co(bmb)(btc)0.5]n( 1 ) and {[Zn(bmb)0.5(btc)0.5(H2O)] · 0.5bmb · H2O}n ( 2 ) [H4btc = benzene‐1, 2, 4, 5‐tetracarboxylic acid, bmb = 1, 4‐bis(2‐methylbenzimidazol‐1‐ylmethyl) benzene] were prepared under hydrothermal conditions. Single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction indicates that both complexes have a 2D framework structure with (4 · 62) (42 · 62 · 82) topology. Interestingly, the hydrogen bonds in 2 form a fascinating meso‐helix. The catalytic activity of 1 for oxidative coupling of 2, 6‐dimethylphenol (DMP) and the photoluminescence properties of 2 were investigated. Furthermore, the complexes were investigated by IR spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis.  相似文献

Radical salts and charge‐transfer complexes (CTCs) containing tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) display electrical conductivity, which has led to the development of many TCNQ derivatives with enhanced electron‐accepting properties that are applicable toward organic electronics. To expand the family of TCNQ derivatives, we report the synthesis and structures of 11,11,12,12‐tetracyano‐2,6‐diiodo‐9,10‐anthraquinodimethane (abbreviated as DITCAQ), C20H6I2N4, and its charge‐transfer complexes with various electron donors, namely DITCAQ–anthracene (2/1), C20H6I2N4·0.5C14H10, (I), DITCAQ–pyrene (2/1), C20H6I2N4·0.5C16H10, (II), and DITCAQ–tetrathiafulvalene (2/1), C20H6I2N4·0.5C6H4S4, (III). The molecular structure of DITCAQ consists of a 2,6‐diiodo‐9,10‐dihydroanthracene moiety with two malononitrile substituents. DITCAQ possesses a saddle shape, since the malononitrile groups bend significantly up out of the plane of the central ring and the two benzene rings bend down out of the same plane. π–π interactions between DITCAQ and the electron‐donor molecules control the degree of charge transfer in cocrystals (I), (II), and (III), which is reflected in both the dihedral angles between the terminal benzene ring and the central ring on the DITCAQ motifs, and their corresponding IR spectra.  相似文献

A novel cyclic ether monomer 3‐{2‐[2‐(2‐hydroxyethoxy)ethoxy]ethoxy‐methyl}‐3′‐methyloxetane (HEMO) was prepared from the reaction of 3‐hydroxymethyl‐3′‐methyloxetane tosylate with triethylene glycol. The corresponding hyperbranched polyether (PHEMO) was synthesized using BF3·Et2O as initiator through cationic ring‐opening polymerization. The evidence from 1H and 13C NMR analyses revealed that the hyperbranched structure is constructed by the competition between two chain propagation mechanisms, i.e. active chain end and activated monomer mechanism. The terminal structure of PHEMO with a cyclic fragment was definitely detected by MALDI‐TOF measurement. A DSC test implied that the resulting polyether has excellent segment motion performance potentially beneficial for the ion transport of polymer electrolytes. Moreover, a TGA assay showed that this hyperbranched polymer possesses high thermostability as compared to its liquid counterpart. The ion conductivity was measured to reach 5.6 × 10?5 S/cm at room temperature and 6.3 × 10?4 S/cm at 80 °C after doped with LiTFSI at a ratio of Li:O = 0.05, presenting the promise to meet the practical requirement of lithium ion batteries for polymer electrolytes. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Two new coordination polymers, {[Cd2(btc)(2,2′‐bpy)2] · H2O}n ( 1 ) and [Zn2(btc)(2,2′‐bpy)(H2O)]n ( 2 ) (H4btc = biphenyl‐2,2′,4,4′‐tetracarboxylic acid, 2,2′‐bpy = 2,2′‐bipyridine), were synthesized hydrothermally under similar conditions and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra, TGA, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. In complexes 1 and 2 , the (btc)4– ligand acts as connectors to link metal ions to give a 2D bilayer network of 1 and a 3D metal‐organic framework of 2 , respectively. The differences in the structures are induced by diverging coordination modes of the (btc)4– ligand, which can be attributed to the difference metal ions in sizes. The results indicate that metal ions have significant effects on the formation and structures of the final complexes. Additionally, the fluorescent properties of the two complexes were also studied in the solid state at room temperature.  相似文献

A metal coordination polymer, {[Mn2Mo(CN)8(C12H8N6)(CH3CN)2(H2O)2]·2H2O}n, has been synthesized by the reaction of Mn(ClO4)2·6H2O with 3,6‐bis(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐1,2,4,5‐tetrazine (bptz) and (Bu3N)3[Mo(CN)8] at room temperature. The polymer was characterized by IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and X‐ray diffraction, and the magnetic properties were also investigated. The X‐ray diffraction analysis reveals that the compound is a new three‐dimensional coordination polymer with a PtS‐type network. Magnetic investigation shows antiferromagnetic coupling between adjacent Mn2+ cations.  相似文献

Four novel metal complexes of 4,6‐bis (4‐chlorophenyl)‐2‐amino‐1,2‐dihydropyridine‐3‐carbinitrile (H2L) with Zn(II), Zr(IV), Ce(IV) and U(VI) were synthesized. The structure was elucidated using elemental analysis, melting point, molar conductivity; spectroscopic techniques (IR, 1H NMR, UV–Vis., mass spectra) as well as thermo gravimetric analysis. The spectroscopic data proved that H2L chelated with the metal ions as a bidentate ligand through Namino and Ncarbinitrile atoms. The molecular structure of the complexes was determined using density functional theory (DFT). The central metal ion in each complex is six‐coordinate and the angles around it vary from 62.74° to 166.46°; these values agree with distorted octahedral geometry. The calculated total energy of the complexes found in the region – 406.342 to ?459.717 au and the dipole moment change from 4.675 to 13.171D. The antibacterial and antifungal activities of the ligand, metal salts and complexes were estimated on some microorganisms. The complexes showed significant antibacterial profile in comparison to the free ligand.  相似文献

Supramolecular polymer nanowires have been prepared by using DNA‐templating of 2,5‐(bis‐2‐thienyl)‐pyrrole (TPT) by oxidation with FeCl3 in a mixed aqueous/organic solvent system. Despite the reduced capacity for strong hydrogen bonding in polyTPT compared to other systems, such as polypyrrole, the templating proceeds well. FTIR spectroscopic studies confirm that the resulting material is not a simple mixture and that the two types of polymer interact. This is indicated by shifts in bands associated with both the phosphodiester backbone and the nucleobases. XPS studies further confirm the presence of DNA and TPT, as well as dopant Cl? ions. Molecular dynamics simulations on a [{dA24:dT24}/{TPT}4] model support these findings and indicate a non‐coplanar conformation for oligoTPT over much of the trajectory. AFM studies show that the resulting nanowires typically lie in the 7–8 nm diameter range and exhibit a smooth, continuous, morphology. Studies on the electrical properties of the prepared nanowires by using a combination of scanned conductance microscopy, conductive AFM and variable temperature two‐terminal I–V measurements show, that in contrast to similar DNA/polymer systems, the conductivity is markedly reduced compared to bulk material. The temperature dependence of the conductivity shows a simple Arrhenius behaviour consistent with the hopping models developed for redox polymers.  相似文献

This paper focus on the effect of nanosize (<50 nm BET) inorganic alumina (Al2O3) filler on the structural, conductivity, and thermal properties of chitosan‐based polymer electrolytes. Films of chitosan and its complexes were prepared using solution‐casting technique. Different amounts of Al2O3 viz., 3, 4.5, 6, 7.5, 9, 12, and 15 wt% were added to the highest room temperature conducting sample in the chitosan–salt system, i.e. sample containing 60 wt% chitosan–40 wt% NH4SCN. The conductivity value of the sample is 1.29 × 10?4 S cm?1. On addition of 6 wt% Al2O3 filler the ionic conductivity increased to 5.86 × 10?4 S cm?1. The amide and amino peaks in the spectrum of chitosan at 1636 and 1551 cm?1, respectively, shift to lower wavenumbers on addition of salt. The glass transition temperature Tg for the highest conducting composite is 190°C. The increase in Tg with increase in more than 6 wt% filler content is attributed to the increase in degree of crystallinity as proven from X‐ray diffraction studies. Throughout this work, the synthesis, thermal as well as proton conducting properties of acid doped heterocyclic polymer were studied under anhydrous conditions. In this context, poly(1‐vinyl‐1,2,4‐triazole), PVTri was produced by free radical polymerization of 1‐vinyl‐1,2,4‐triazole with a high yield. The structure of the homopolymer was proved by FTIR and solid state 13C CP‐MAS NMR spectroscopy. The polymer was doped with p‐toluenesulfonic acid at various molar ratios, x = 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, with respect to polymer repeating unit. The proton transfer from p‐toluenesulfonic acid to the triazole rings was proved with FTIR spectroscopy. Thermogravimetry analysis showed that the samples are thermally stable up to ~250 °C. Differential scanning calorimetry results illustrated that the materials are homogeneous and the dopant strongly affects the glass transition temperature of the host polymer. Cyclic voltammetry results showed that the electrochemical stability domain extends over 3 V. The proton conductivity of these materials increased with dopant concentration and the temperature. Charge transport relaxation times were derived via complex electrical modulus formalism (M*). The temperature dependence of conductivity relaxation times showed that the proton conductivity occurs via structure diffusion. In the anhydrous state, the proton conductivity of PVTri1PTSA and PVTri2PTSA was measured as 8 × 10?4 S/cm at 150 °C and 0.012 S/cm at 110 °C, respectively. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The free‐radical copolymerization of N‐phenylmaleimide (N‐PhMI) with acrylic acid was studied in the range of 25–75 mol % in the feed. The interactions of these copolymers with Cu(II) and Co(II) ions were investigated as a function of the pH and copolymer composition by the use of the ultrafiltration technique. The maximum retention capacity of the copolymers for Co(II) and Cu(II) ions varied from 200 to 250 mg/g and from 210 to 300 mg/g, respectively. The copolymers and polymer–metal complexes of divalent transition‐metal ions were characterized by elemental analysis, Fourier transform infrared, 1H NMR spectroscopy, and cyclic voltammetry. The thermal behavior was investigated with differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetry (TG). The TG and DSC measurements showed an increase in the glass‐transition temperature (Tg) and the thermal stability with an increase in the N‐PhMI concentration in the copolymers. Tg of poly(N‐PhMI‐co‐AA) with copolymer composition 46.5:53.5 mol % was found at 251 °C, and it decreased when the complexes of Co(II) and Cu(II) at pHs 3–7 were formed. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Phosphonic acid functional polymers are currently of interest because of their high proton conductivity in humidified and anhydrous systems. In addition, heterocyclic compounds are used in anhydrous proton conducting polymer membranes. In that study, a new copolymer based on 1‐vinyl‐1,2,4‐triazole (VTri) and diisopropyl‐p‐vinylbenzyl phosphonate (VBP) was synthesized, and their thermal, chemical, and proton conducting properties were investigated. The copolymers were synthesized by free radical copolymerization of the corresponding monomers at several monomer feed ratios to obtain P(VTri‐co‐VBP) copolymers. The copolymer samples were then hydrolyzed to produce poly(vinyl triazole‐co‐vinyl phosphonic acid) copolymers. The composition of the copolymers was determined by elemental analysis. The copolymerization and hydrolysis reactions were verified by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and ion exchange capacity measurements. Thermogravimetry analysis indicates that the copolymers are thermally stable up to 300°C. In order to increase the proton conductivity, the copolymers were doped with H3PO4 at several stoichometric ratios. The proton conductivity increases with triazole and phosphoric acid content. In the absence of humidity, the copolymer electrolyte, P(VTri‐co‐VBPA)1:0.5 X = 2, showed a proton conductivity of 0.005 S/cm at 150°C. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The title compound, 3,4,5,6‐tetramethoxycyclohexane‐1,2‐diyldioxybis(methyldiphenylphosphonium) diiodide, C36H44O6P22+·2I?, was prepared from a New Zealand natural product, d ‐chiro‐inositol, in order to develop new catalytic metal complexes. The inositol ring retains its usual chair conformation with only minor perturbations caused by the bound diphenylmethylphosphines. Four metal‐organic coordination polymers [Co2(L)3(nipa)2]·6H2O ( 1 ), [Cd(L)(nipa)]·3H2O ( 2 ), [Co(L) (Hoxba)2] ( 3 ) and [Ni2(L)2(oxba)2(H2O)]·1.5L·3H2O ( 4 ) were synthesized by reactions of the corresponding metal(II) salts with the rigid ligand 1,4‐bis(1H‐imidazol‐4‐yl)benzene (L) and different derivatives of 5‐nitroisophthalic acid (H2nipa) and 4,4′‐oxybis(benzoic acid) (H2oxba), respectively. The structures of the complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, FT‐IR spectroscopy and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. Complexes 1 and 3 have the same one‐dimensional (1D) chain while 2 is a 6‐connected twofold interpenetrating three‐dimensional (3D) network with α ‐Po 412·63 topology based on the binuclear CdII subunits. Compound 4 features a puckered two‐dimensional (2D) (4,4) network, and the large voids of the packing 2D nets have accommodated the uncoordinated L guest molecules. An abundant of N–H···O, O–H···O and C–H···O hydrogen bonding interactions exist in complexes 1–4 , which contributes to stabilize the crystal structure and extend the low‐dimensional entities into high‐dimensional frameworks. Lastly, the photoluminiscent properties of compounds 2 were also investigated.  相似文献

By the solvothermal reactions of 2,5‐bis(1H‐1,2,4‐triazol‐1‐yl)terephthalic acid (H2L) with transition‐metal ions, two novel polymeric complexes, namely, poly[diaqua[μ4‐2,5‐bis(1H‐1,2,4‐triazol‐1‐yl)terephthalato]cobalt(II)], [Co(C12H6N6O4)(H2O)2]n, ( 1 ), and poly[[diaqua[μ4‐2,5‐bis(1H‐1,2,4‐triazol‐1‐yl)terephthalato]nickel(II)] dihydrate], {[Ni(C12H6N6O4)(H2O)2]·2H2O}n, ( 2 ), were isolated. Both polymers have been characterized by FT–IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. The complexes have similar two‐dimensional layered structures and coordination modes. Furthermore, the two‐dimensional layered structures bear distinct intermolecular hydrogen‐bonding interactions and π–π stacking interactions to form two different three‐dimensional supramolecular networks based on 44‐subnets. The structural variation depends on the nature of the metal cations. The results of variable‐temperature magnetization measurements (χMT?T and χM?1?T) show that complexes ( 1 ) and ( 2 ) display antiferromagnetic behaviour.  相似文献

A π‐conjugated polymer containing a dithiafulvene unit and a bipyridyl unit was prepared by cycloaddition polymerization of aldothioketene derived from 5,5′‐diethynyl‐2,2′‐bipyridine. Ultraviolet–visible (UV–vis) absorption spectra showed that the π‐conjugation system of the polymer expanded more effectively than that of a benzene analogue of poly(dithiafulvene) obtained from 1,4‐diethynylbenzene. Cyclic voltammetry measurements indicated that the dithiafulvene–bipyridyl polymer was a weaker electron‐donor polymer than the benzene analogue. These results supported the idea that the incorporation of the electron‐accepting bipyridyl moiety into conjugated poly(dithiafulvene) induced an intramolecular charge‐transfer (CT) effect between the units. Treatment of the dithiafulvene–bipyridyl polymer with bis(2,2′‐bipyridyl)dichlororuthenium (II) [Ru(bpy)2Cl2] afforded a ruthenium–polymer complex. A cyclic voltammogram of the complex showed broad redox peaks, which indicated electronic interaction between the dithiafulvene and tris(bipyridyl) ruthenium complex. The dithiafulvene–bipyridyl polymer formed CT complexes with 7,7,8,8‐tetracycanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) in dimethyl sulfoxide. The UV–vis absorption indicated that the resulting CT complex contained anion radical of TCNQ and partially charge‐transferred TCNQ. The polymer showed an unusually high electrical conductivity of 3.1 × 10?4 S/cm in its nondoped state due to the effective donor–acceptor interaction between the bipyridine unit and the dithiafulvene unit. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Complexes of 4,10‐bis(phosphonomethyl)‐1,4,7,10‐tetraazacyclododecane‐1,7‐diacetic acid (trans‐H6do2a2p, H6 L ) with transition metal and lanthanide(III) ions were investigated. The stability constant values of the divalent and trivalent metal‐ion complexes are between the corresponding values of H4dota and H8dotp complexes, as a consequence of the ligand basicity. The solid‐state structures of the ligand and of nine lanthanide(III) complexes were determined by X‐ray diffraction. All the complexes are present as twisted‐square‐antiprismatic isomers and their structures can be divided into two series. The first one involves nona‐coordinated complexes of the large lanthanide(III) ions (Ce, Nd, Sm) with a coordinated water molecule. In the series of Sm, Eu, Tb, Dy, Er, Yb, the complexes are octa‐coordinated only by the ligand donor atoms and their coordination cages are more irregular. The formation kinetics and the acid‐assisted dissociation of several LnIII–H6 L complexes were investigated at different temperatures and compared with analogous data for complexes of other dota‐like ligands. The [Ce( L )(H2O)]3? complex is the most kinetically inert among complexes of the investigated lanthanide(III) ions (Ce, Eu, Gd, Yb). Among mixed phosphonate–acetate dota analogues, kinetic inertness of the cerium(III) complexes is increased with a higher number of phosphonate arms in the ligand, whereas the opposite is true for europium(III) complexes. According to the 1H NMR spectroscopic pseudo‐contact shifts for the Ce–Eu and Tb–Yb series, the solution structures of the complexes reflect the structures of the [Ce(H L )(H2O)]2? and [Yb(H L )]2? anions, respectively, found in the solid state. However, these solution NMR spectroscopic studies showed that there is no unambiguous relation between 31P/1H lanthanide‐induced shift (LIS) values and coordination of water in the complexes; the values rather express a relative position of the central ions between the N4 and O4 planes.  相似文献

A new series of palladium complexes ( Pd1–Pd5 ) ligated by symmetrical 2,3‐diiminobutane derivatives, 2,3‐bis[2,6‐bis{bis(4‐FC6H4)2CH}2‐4‐(alkyl)C6H2N]C4H6 (alkyl = Me L1 , Et L2 , i Pr L3 , t Bu L4 ) and 2,3‐bis[2,6‐bis{bis(C6H5)2CH}2‐4‐{(CH3)3C}C6H2N]C4H6 L5 , have been prepared and well characterized, and their catalytic scope toward ethylene polymerization have been investigated. Upon activation with MAO, all palladium complexes ( Pd1–Pd5) exhibited good activities (up to 1.44 × 106 g (PE) mol?1(Pd) h?1) and produced higher molecular weight polyethylene in the range of 105 g mol?1 with precise molecular weight distribution (M w/M n = 1.37–1.77). One of the long‐standing limiting features of the Brookhart type α‐diimine Pd(II) catalysts is that they produce highly branched (ca. 100/1000 C atoms) and totally amorphous polymer. Conversely, herein Pd5 produced polymers having dramatically lower branching number (28/1000) as well as improved melting temperature up to 73.1 °C showing well‐controlled linear architecture, and very similar to polyethylene materials generated by early‐transition‐metal based catalysts. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
