Chemical and Cyclovoltammetric Investigation of the Redoxreactions of the Decahalodecaborates closo ‐[B10X10]2– and hypercloso ‐[B10X10]· – (X = Cl, Br)1). Crystal Structure Analysis of Cs2[B10Br10] · 2 H2O The oxidation of the decachloro‐closo‐decaborates(2–) Cs2[B10Cl10] or [Me4N]2[B10Cl10] with Tl(CF3COO)3 leads to the corresponding radical monoanion hypercloso‐[B10Cl10] · –, which was characterized by ESR and UV/Vis spectroscopy. [B10Cl10] · – does not dimerize like [B10H10] · – but it is reduced by acetonitrile to the dianion [B10Cl10]2–. Cs2[B10Cl10] reacts with stronger oxidation agents like CoF3 (in dichloromethane) or XeF2 (in perfluorhexane), respectively, to yield B9Cl9 and, in traces, B8Cl8. In opposite to this, the decabromoderivative Cs2[B10Br10] does not show any reaction with Tl(CF3COO)3 in acetonitrile or with CoF3 in CH2Cl2. The oxidation of the dianions [B10X10]2– (X = Cl, Br) was studied by electroanalytical methods (cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry, chronocoulometry). Formal potentials were determined for the two steps of the reaction, which do not seem to be affected by structural rearrangements. The crystal structure of Cs2[B10Br10] · 2 H2O was analyzed by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. Cs2[B10Br10] · 2 H2O crystallizes monoclinic (space group I2/a, (no. 15), Z = 8, a = 1361.54(9) pm, b = 1215.89(5) pm, c = 3108.4(2) pm, α = 90°, β = 97.916(8)°, γ = 90°). The closo‐cluster B10Br102– has a bicapped square antiprismatic structure with idealized D4d symmetry.  相似文献

Compounds consisting of both cluster cations and cluster anions of the composition [(M6X12)(EtOH)6][(Mo6Cl8)Cl4X2] · n EtOH · m Et2O (M = Nb, Ta; X = Cl, Br) have been prepared by the reaction of (M6X12)X2 · 6 EtOH with (Mo6Cl8)Cl4. IR data are given for three compounds. The structures of [(Nb6Cl12)(EtOH)6][(Mo6Cl8)Cl6] · 3 EtOH · 3 Et2O 1 and [(Ta6Cl12)(EtOH)6][(Mo6Cl8)Cl6] · 6 EtOH 2 have been solved in the triclinic space group P1 (No. 2). Crystal data: 1 , a = 10.641(2) Å, b = 13.947(2) Å, c = 15.460(3) Å, α = 65.71(2)°, β = 73.61(2)°, γ = 85.11(2)°, V = 2005.1(8) Å3 and Z = 1; 2 , a = 11.218(2) Å, b = 12.723(3) Å, c = 14.134(3) Å, α = 108.06(2)°, β = 101.13(2)°, γ = 91.18(2)°, V = 1874.8(7) Å3 and Z = 1. Both structures are built of octahedral [(M6Cl12)(EtOH)6]2+ cluster cations and [(Mo6Cl8)Cl6]2– cluster anions, forming distorted CsCl structure types. The Nb–Nb and Ta–Ta bond lengths of 2.904 Å and 2.872 Å (mean values), respectively, are rather short, indicating weak M–O bonds. All O atoms of coordinated EtOH molecules are involved in H bridges. The Mo–Mo distances of 2.603 Å and 2.609 Å (on average) are characteristic for the [(Mo6Cl8)Cl6]2– anion, but there is a clear correlation between the number of hydrogen bridges to the terminal Cl and the corresponding Mo–Cl distances.  相似文献

Synthesis and Spectroscopical Characterization of Di(halo)phthalocyaninato(1–)rhodium(III), [RhX2Pc1?] (X = Cl, Br, I) Bronze-coloured di(halo)phthalocyaninato(1–)-rhodium(III), [RhX2Pc1?] (X = Cl, Br) and [RhI2Pc1?] · I2 is prepared by oxidation of (nBu4N)[RhX2Pc2?] with the corresponding halogene. Irrespective of the halo ligands, two irreversible electrode reactions due to the first ringreduction (ER = ?0,90 V) and ringoxidation (EO = 0,82 V) are present in the cyclovoltammogram of (nBu4N)[RhX2Pc2?]. The optical spectra show typical absorptions of the Pc1?-ligand at 14.0 kK and 19.1 kK. Characteristic vibrational bands are at 1 366/1 449 cm?1 (i. r.) and 569/1 132/1 180/1 600 cm?1 (resonance Raman (r. r.)). The antisym. (Rh? X)-stretching vibration is observed at 294 cm?1 (X = Cl), 240 cm?4 (Br) and 200 cm?1 (I). Only the sym. (Rh? I)-stretching vibration at 133 cm?1 is r. r. enhanced together with a strong line at 170 cm?1, which is assigned to the (I? I)-stretching vibration of the incorporated iodine molecule. Both modes show overtones and combinationbands.  相似文献

The packing in 2 shows alternating layers of cluster anions and of ammonium/uncoordinated oxalates perpendicular to the [1 0 1] direction. Vibration spectra, electrochemistry and thermogravimetric properties of the complexes are also discussed.  相似文献

Ruthenium(II)-Phthalocyaninates(1–): Synthesis and Properties of (Halo)(carbonyl)phthalocyaninato(1–)ruthenium(II) Brown-violet (halo)(carbonyl)phthalocyaninato(1–)ruthenium(II), [Ru(X)(CO)Pc?] (X = Cl, Br) is prepared by oxidation of [Ru(X)(CO)Pc2?]? with the corresponding halogen or dibenzoylperoxide. The eff. magnetic moment μeff = 1.74 (X = Cl), 1.68 μB (Br) confirms the presence of a low-spin RuII complex of the Pc? radical. Accordingly, only the first ring oxidation at ~0.64 V and the first ring reduction at ~ ?1.19 V is observed in the cyclovoltammogram of [Ru(X)(CO)Pc2?]?. The UV-VIS-NIR spectra characterizing a monomeric Pc? radical with intense π-π* transitions at 14500, 19800, 25100 and 33900 cm?1 are compared with those of [Ru(Cl)2Pc?] and of monomeric as well as dimeric [Zn(Cl)Pc?]. The IR and resonance Raman(RR) spectra are characteristic for a Pc? radical, too. Diagnostic in-plane vibrations of the Pc? ligand are in the IR spectrum at 1071, 1359, 1445 cm?1 and in the RR spectrum (λ0 = 488.0 nm) at 567, 1597 cm?1. v(C? O) at 1950 cm?1 and v(Ru? X) at 260 (X = Cl) resp. 184 cm?1 (X = Br) are observed only in the IR spectrum.  相似文献

Structural Chemistry of the Alkyl- and Arylhaloarsenates(III) [Me2As2Cl5], [RAsCl3], [R2As2Br6]2– (R = Me, Et, Ph) and [Ph2AsX2] (X = Cl, Br) The alkyl- and arylhaloarsenates(III) [Ph4P][Me2As2Cl5] ( 1 ), [Ph4P][RAsCl3] (R = Me, Et, Ph, 2 – 4 ), [Me3PhN][PhAsCl3] ( 5 ), [Ph4P]2[R2As2Br6] (R = Me, Et, Ph, 6 – 8 ), [n-Pr4N][Ph2AsCl2] ( 9 ) and [n-Bu4N][Ph2AsBr2] ( 10 ) have been prepared and their structures established by X-ray diffraction. In contrast to the chloroarsenates(III) 2 – 5 , which all contain isolated ψ-trigonal bipyramidal anions [RAsCl3], the analogous bromoarsenates(III) 6 – 8 exhibit dimeric structures. Whereas the trans sited As–Cl distances in 2 and 3 are very similar a pronounced degree of asymmetry is apparent for the Cl–As–Cl three-centre bonds in 4 and 5 [2.396(1) and 2.602(1) Å in 5]. In 6 and 7 Ci symmetry related RAsBr2 units are connected through long As…Br bonds [2.926(1) and 3.116(2) Å in 6 ]. The bromophenylarsenate(III) anion of 8 which contains two effectively undistorted ψ-trigonal bipyramids [PhAsBr3] associated by weak As…Br interactions [3.117(2) Å]. In view of its very long bridging As…Cl distances the [Me2As2Cl5] anion in 1 can, as 6 an 7 , be regarded as two MeAsCl2 molecules weakly linked through a chloride ion.  相似文献

Preparation of Halogeno Pyridine Rhenates(III), [ReX6?n(Py)n](3?n)? (X = Br, Cl; n = 1?3) Crystal Structures of trans-[(C4H9)4N][ReBr4(Py)2], mer-[ReCl3(Py)3], and mer- [ReBr3(Py)3] The mixed halogeno-pyridine-rhenates(III), [ReX6?n(Py)n](3?n)? (X = Br, Cl), n = 1?3, have been prepared for the first time by reaction of the tetrabutylammoniumsalts (TBA)2[ReX6] (X = Br, Cl) in pyridine with (TBA)BH4 and separation by chromatography on Al2O3. Apart from the monopyridine complexes only the trans and mer isomers are formed from the bis-and tris-pyridine compounds. The X-ray structure determinations of the isotypic neutral complexes mer- [ReX3(Py)3] (monoclinic, space group P 21/n, Z = 4; for X = Cl: a = 9,1120(8), b = 12,5156(14), c = 15,6100(13) Å, β = 91,385(7)°; for X = Br: a = 9,152(5), b = 12,852(13), c = 15,669(2) Å, β = 90,43(2)°) reveal, due to the stronger trans influence of pyridine compared with Cl and Br, that the Re? X distances in asymmetric Py? Re? X3 axes with ReCl3 = 2,397 Å and ReBr3 = 2,534 Å are elongated by 1,3 and 1% in comparison with symmetric X1? Re? X2 axes with ReCl1 = ReCl2 = 2,367 Å and ReBr1 = 2,513 and ReBr2 = 2,506 Å, respectively. The Re? N bond lengths are roughly equal with 2,12 Å. Trans-(TBA)[ReBr4(Py)2] crystallizes triclinic, space group P1 , a = 9,2048(12), b = 12,0792(11), c = 15,525(2) Å, α = 95,239(10), β = 94,193(11), γ = 106,153(9)°, Z = 2. The unit cell contains two independent but very similar complex anions with approximate D2h(mmm) point symmetry.  相似文献

Red crystals of [H3O · (dibenzo-18-crown-6)][Te2Br9] ( 1 ) were isolated from a solution of TeBr4 and dibenzo-18-crown-6 in CH3CN containing a small amount of hydrobromic acid. The compound crystallizes in the triclinic space group P 1 with the cell dimensions a = 9.010(2), b = 13.403(3), c = 14.606(4) Å, α = 98.94(2)°, β = 100.40(2)°, and γ = 91.40(2)° (150 K). From a solution of TeCl4 in 1,4-dioxane containing hydrochloric acid [H5O2][Te2Cl9] · 2 C4H8O2 ( 2 ) precipitates as colorless crystals in the orthorhombic space group Pnma with the cell dimensions a = 17.023(4), b = 13.389(4), and c = 10.900(3) Å (150 K). In both structures the [Te2X9] anion (X = Cl, Br) consists of one TeX6 octahedron and one TeX5 square pyramidal unit connected by a common edge. In compound 1 the coordination sphere of the square pyramidal fragment is completed by a very weakly η6 bound benzo group of the cationic unit. In compound 2 an oxygen atom of the oxonium ion weakly interacts with the fivefold coordinated tellurium atom. The cationic units are a crown ether oxonium complex in 1 and a supramolecular 1,4-dioxane-oxonium network in 2 .  相似文献

These were synthesized by thermal treatment of the corresponding mixtures of PbX2 and PdX2 (X = Cl, Br). X-ray single crystal structure analysis shows isotypism of I and II, monoclinic, P21/c (No. 14), Z = 2, I: a = 9.037(2) Å, b = 6.224(1) Å, c = 8.162(1) Å, β = 90.31(7)β, II: a = 9.512(7) Å, b = 6.584(8) Å, c = 8.383(3) Å, β = 90.07(5)º. Strongly elongated PdX6 octahedra are found in the crystal structure. Additional characterisation of the compounds was done by DTA, IR/RAMAN spectra and 207Pb MAS NMR investigations. Remarcable low field shifts were found for 207Pb.  相似文献

Additionally [In3Br4(NtBu)(NHtBu)3] ( 4 ) was obtained as a by‐product in the synthesis of 2 . 1 – 4 have been characterized by x‐ray crystal structure analysis. 1 – 3 consist of In4N4 heterocubane cores with an alternating arrangement of In and N atoms. The In atoms are coordinated nearly tetrahedrally by three N‐atoms and a terminal halogen atom. 4 contains a tricyclic In3N4 core which can be formally derived from an In4N4‐heterocubane by removing one In atom.  相似文献

The approximate linear Azidoligands with Nα–Nβ–Nγ‐angles = 172.1–176.8° are bonded with Pt–Nα–Nβ‐angles = 116.2–121.9°. In the vibrational spectra the platinum halogen stretching vibrations of trans‐(n‐Bu4N)2[Pt(N3)4X2] are observed in the range of 327–337 (X = Cl), at 202 (Br) and in the range of 145–165 cm–1 (I), respectively. The platinum azide stretching modes of the three complex salts are in the range of 401–421 cm–1. The reactions of 4N‐ethyl‐2‐[1‐(pyrrol‐2‐yl)methylidene(hydrazine carbothioamide ( 4 EL1 ) and 4N‐ethyl‐2[1‐(pyrrol‐2‐yl)ethylidene(hydrazine carbothioamide ( 4 EL2 ) with Group 12 metal halides afforded complexes of types [M(L)2X2] (M = Zn, Cd; L = 4 EL1, 4 EL2; X = Cl, Br, I; 1 – 6 , 14 – 19 ) and [M(L)X2] (M = Hg; L = 4 EL1, 4 EL2; X = Cl, Br, I; 7 – 9 , 20 – 22 ). In addition, reaction of 4 EL1 with salts of CuII, NiII, PdII and PtII afforded compounds of type [M(4 EL1–H)2] ( 10 – 13 ). The new compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, FAB mass spectrometry, IR and electronic spectroscopy and, for sufficiently soluble compounds, 1H, 13C and, when appropriate, 113Cd or 199Hg NMR spectrometry. The spectral data suggest that in their complexes with Group 12 metal cations, both thiosemicarbazones are neutral and S‐monodentate; and for [Zn(4 EL1)2I2] ( 3 ), [Cd(4 EL1)2Br2] ( 5 ) and [Hg(4 EL1)Cl2]2 ( 7 ) this was confirmed by X‐ray diffractometry. By contrast, in its complexes with CuII and Group 10 metal cations, 4 EL1 is monodeprotonated and S,N‐bidentate, as was confirmed by X‐ray diffractometry for [Ni(4 EL1–H)2] ( 11 ) and [Pd(4 EL1–H)2] ( 12 ).  相似文献

[NiL2X2] or [HL][NiLX3] – Reaction of Sterically Demanding Trialkylphosphines L with NiX2 (X = Cl, Br) in Ethanol The reaction of some sterically demanding trialkylphosphines L = PR2R′ (R = iPr, R′ = tBu; R = tBu, R′ = iPr, Me) with NiX2 (X = Cl, Br) in ethanol affords instead of the expected non-electrolytes [NiL2X2] tertiary phosphonium nickelates [HL][NiLX3] due to participation of the solvent. In case of the less bulky PtBu2Me both complex types were obtained. [Ni(PtBu2Me)2Cl2] is tetrahedral and therefore one of the two examples of paramagnetic bis(trialkylphosphine)dihalogenonickel(II) complexes known so far. In solution the latter compound undergoes an equilibrium of tetrahedral (paramagnetic) and planar (diamagnetic) conformer. The blue copper complex compounds [Cu(phen)2(C6H8O4)] · 4.5 H2O ( 1 ) and [(Cu2(phen)2Cl2)(C6H8O4)] · 4 H2O ( 2 ) were synthesized from CuCl2, 1,10‐phenanthroline (phen) and adipic acid in CH3OH/H2O solutions. [Cu(phen)2‐ (C6H8O4)] complexes and hydrogen bonded H2O molecules form the crystal structure of ( 1 ) (P1 (no. 2), a = 10.086(2) Å, b = 11.470(2) Å, c = 16.523(3) Å, α = 99.80(1)°, β = 115.13(1)°, γ = 115.13(1)°, V = 1617.5(5) Å3, Z = 2). The Cu atoms are square‐pyramidally coordinated by four N atoms of the phen ligands and one O atom of the adipate anion (d(Cu–O) = 1.989 Å, d(Cu–N) = 2.032–2.040 Å, axial d(Cu–N) = 2.235 Å). π‐π stacking interactions between phen ligands are responsible for the formation of supramolecular assemblies of [Cu(phen)2(C6H8O4)] complex molecules into 1 D chains along [111]. The crystal structure of ( 2 ) shows polymeric [(Cu2(phen)2Cl2)(C6H8O4)2/2] chains (P1 (no. 2), a = 7.013(1) Å, b = 10.376(1) Å, c = 11.372(3) Å, α = 73.64(1)°, β = 78.15(2)°, γ = 81.44(1)°, V = 773.5(2) Å3, Z = 1). The Cu atoms are fivefold coordinated by two Cl atoms, two N atoms of phen ligands and one O atom of the adipate anion, forming [CuCl2N2O] square pyramids with an axial Cl atom (d(Cu–O) = 1.958 Å, d(Cu–N) = 2.017–2.033 Å, d(Cu–Cl) = 2.281 Å; axial d(Cu–Cl) = 2.724 Å). Two square pyramids are condensed via the common Cl–Cl edge to centrosymmetric [Cu2Cl2N4O2] dimers, which are connected via the adipate anions to form the [(Cu2(phen)2Cl2)(C6H8O4)2/2] chains. The supramolecular 3 D network results from π‐π stacking interactions between the chains. H2O molecules are located in tunnels.  相似文献

Synthesis, Crystal Structures, and Vibrational Spectra of [(Ph3P)2N]2[(W6Cl )I ] · 2 Et2O · 2 CH2Cl2 and [(Ph3P)2N]2[(W6Cl )(NCS) ] · 2 CH2Cl2 By treatment of [(W6Cl)I]2– with (SCN)2 in dichloromethane at –20 °C the hexaisothiocyanato cluster anion [(W6Cl)(NCS)]2– is formed. X‐ray structure determinations have been performed on single crystals of [(Ph3P)2N]2[(W6Cl)I] · 2 CH2Cl2 · 2 Et2O ( 1 ) (triclinic, space group P1, a = 10.324(5), b = 14.908(3), c = 17.734(8) Å, α = 112.78(2)°, β = 99.13(3)°, γ = 92.02(3)°, Z = 1) and [(Ph3P)2N]2[(W6Cl)(NCS)] · 2 CH2Cl2 ( 2 ) (triclinic, space group P1, a = 11.115(2), b = 14.839(2), c = 17.036(3) Å, α = 104.46(1)°, β = 105.75(2)°, γ = 110.59(1)°, Z = 1). The thiocyanate ligands of 2 are bound exclusively via N atoms with W–N bond lengths of 2.091–2.107 Å, W–N–C angles of 173.1–176.9° and N–C–S angles of 178.1–179.3°. The vibrational spectra exhibit characteristic innerligand vibrations at 2067–2045 (νCN), 879–867 (νCS) and 490–482 (δNCS). Based on the molekular parameters of the X‐ray determination of 1 the vibrational spectra of the corresponding (n‐Bu4N) salt of 1 are assigned by normal coordinate analysis. The valence force constants are fd(WW) = 1.61, fd(WI) = 1.23 and fd(WCl) = 1.10 mdyn/Å.  相似文献

Crystal Structures, Vibrational Spectra, and Normal Coordinate Analyses of the Chloro-Iodo-Rhenates(IV) (CH2Py2)[ReCl5I], cis -(CH2Py2)[ReCl4I2] · 2 DMSO, trans -(CH2Py2)[ReCl4I2] · 2 DMSO, and fac -(EtPh3P)2[ReCl3I3] [ReCl5I]2–, cis-[ReCl4I2]2–, trans-[ReCl4I2]2–, and fac-[ReCl3I3]2– have been synthesized by ligand exchange reactions of [ReI6]2– with HCl and are separated by ion exchange chromatography on diethylaminoethyl cellulose. X-ray structure determinations have been performed on single crystals of (CH2Py2)[ReCl5I] ( 1 ) (triclinic, space group P1 with a = 7.685(2), b = 9.253(2), c = 12.090(4) Å, α = 90.06(2), β = 101.11(2), γ = 95.07(2)°, Z = 2), cis-(CH2Py2)[ReCl4I2] · 2 DMSO ( 2 ) (triclinic, space group P1 with a = 8.662(2), b = 12.109(2), c = 12.9510(12) Å, a = 97.533(11), β = 96.82(2), γ = 89.90(2)°, Z = 2) , trans-(CH2Py2)[ReCl4I2] · 2 DMSO ( 3 ) (triclinic, space group P1 with a = 9.315(7), b = 9.663(3), c = 15.232(3) Å, α = 80.09(2), β = 81.79(4), γ = 83.99(5)°, Z = 2) and fac-(EtPh3P)2[ReCl3I3] ( 4 ) (monoclinic, space group P21/a with a = 17.453(2), b = 13.366(1), c = 19.420(1) Å, β = 112.132(8)°, Z = 4). The crystal structure of ( 1 ) reveals a positional disorder of the anion sublattice along the asymmetric axis. Due to the stronger trans influence of I compared with Cl on asymmetric axes Cl˙–Re–I′ is caused a mean lenghthening of the Re–Cl˙ distances of 0.020 Å (0.8%) and a shortening of the Re–I′ distances of 0.035 Å (1.3%) with regard to symmetrically coordinated axes Cl–Re–Cl and I–Re–I, respectively. Using the molecular parameters of the X-Ray determinations the low temperature (10 K) IR and Raman spectra of the (n-Bu4N) salts of all four chloro-iodo-rhenates(IV) are assigned by normal coordinate analyses. The weakening of the Re–Cl˙ bonds and the strengthening of the Re–I′ bonds is indicated by a decrease or increase of the valence force constants each by 9%.  相似文献
