Using objective physical criteria for data reliability, cross sections of partial photoneutron reactions (γ, 1n), (γ, 2n) and (γ, 3n) that are free of the shortcomings of neutron multiplicity sorting methods used on beams of quasimonoenergetic annihilation photons are obtained for 141Pr and 186W nuclei. Evaluation is performed using the experimental–theoretical method (ETM), based on the experimental cross section of neutron yield reaction σexp(γ, xn) = σexp(γ, 1n) + 2 σexp(γ, 2n) + 3 σexp(γ, 3n) + … and ratios F i theor= σtheor(γ, in)/σtheor(γ, xn) calculated within the combined model (CM) of photonuclear reactions, which stipulates that σeval(γ, in) = F i theor σexp(γ, xn). It is found that for 141Pr and 186W, ratios F exp i do not contradict the data reliability criteria only at energies up to ~21 and ~22 MeV, respectively. At the same time, there are notable discrepancies between F i theor and F exp i, and thus between the evaluated and experimental cross sections of reactions. It is shown that the discrepancies between the evaluated and experimental cross sections are due to the assumed unreliable experimental distribution of neutrons in the channels with multiplicities 1, 2, and 3. 相似文献

Basic methods for determining cross sections for photoneutron partial reactions are examined. They are obtained directly in experiments with quasimonoeneregetic annihilation photons or from the cross section for the (γ, xn) = (γ, 1n) + 2(γ, 2n) + 3(γ, 3n) +... neutron-yield reaction in experiments with bremsstrahlung photons by introducing corrections based on statistical nuclear-reaction theory. The difference in the conditions of these experiments, which leads to discrepancies between their results because of sizable systematic errors, is analyzed. Physical criteria are used to study the reliability of data on the photodisintegration of 133Cs, 138Ba, and 209Bi nuclei. The cross sections for partial and total reactions satisfying the reliability criteria are evaluated within the experimental–theoretical method (σeval(γ, in) = Fitheor × σexpt(γ, xn)) on the basis of the experimental cross sections σexpt(γ, xn) and the results of the calculations within the combined model of photonuclear reactions. 相似文献

Yields of photonuclear reactions on 197Au nuclei were measured in a beam of bremsstrahlung photons, the endpoint energy of the bremsstrahlung spectrum being 29.1 MeV. These measurements were performed by means of the gamma-activation procedure. The results obtained in this way were compared with the results of earlier experiments and theoretical calculations. 相似文献

The energy dependence of the total cross sections for the 6He + Si and 9Li + Si reactions was measured at beam energies between 5 and 20 MeV per nucleon. The results agree with experimental data published for the 6He + Si reaction. New data are obtained for the 9Li + Si reaction in the vicinity of a local enhancement of the total cross section. A theoretical analysis of the possible reasons behind the appearance of this peculiarity in the case of collisions of 6He and 9Li nuclei with silicon target nuclei is performed. In particular, the enhancement may owe its origin to the effect of loosely bound projectile nucleons. 相似文献

The differential elastic-scattering cross sections and the total reaction cross sections for the interaction of K + mesons with 12C and 40Ca nuclei at beam momenta of 0.635, 0.715, and 0.8 GeV/c are calculated. The microscopic optical potential derived in the high-energy approximation is used in these calculations. It is determined by the amplitude for kaon-nucleon scattering and the density distribution of pointlike nucleons of the target nucleus. In the high-energy approximation, the Klein-Gordon-Fock equation reduces to the form of the Schrödinger equation. It is shown that small distinctions between the reduction methods do not lead to significant changes in differential elastic-scattering cross sections, but the effects of relativization as such are quite large. Good agreement with experimental data on elastic K + A scattering is attained. The total reaction cross sections can be described upon adding, to the volume potential, a term that takes the form of its derivative and which has a maximum at the periphery, its contribution being fitted to experimental data. 相似文献

H+ impact single and He2+ impact single and double electron
capture cross sections of magnesium atoms have been calculated in the
modified binary encounter approximation (BEA). The accurate expressions of
ion impact sDE\sigma _{\Delta {E}} (cross section for energy transfer
DE\Delta E) and Hartree-Fock momentum distributions of the target
electrons have been used throughout the calculations. On the basis of the
present work it is concluded that inner shell captures by H+ and
He2+ ions incident on magnesium atoms contribute partly to single
electron capture and partly to transfer ionization cross sections. The
calculated He2+ impact double electron capture cross sections of
magnesium are in reasonably good agreement with the experimental
observations. This indicates the success of the present theoretical approach
in study of charge transfer cross sections of atoms as indirect mechanisms do
not interfere with double electron capture processes in this case. 相似文献

The spin-lattice and spin-spin relaxation times have been measured for 63,65Cu NMR in the infinite-layer anti-ferromagnet SrCuO2 in the ordered state for temperatures from 4.2 to 361 K. In the region of low temperatures (T≤250 K), both relaxation processes are of the same nature and the main contribution to the relaxation rate is associated with the diffusion of a small number of holes with an activation energy of ~42 meV. In the high-temperature range (T > 250 K), contributions to the transverse relaxation rate exhibit redistribution and this relaxation process is determined predominantly by indirect interactions. 相似文献

For the first time, the CuFeO2 single crystal has been studied by 63,65Cu nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). The measurements have been carried out in the temperature range of T = 100?350 K in the magnetic field H = 117 kOe applied along different crystallographic directions. The components of the electric field gradient tensor and the hyperfine coupling constants are determined. It is shown that electrons of copper 4s and 3d orbitals are involved in the spin polarization transfer Fe → Cu. The occupancies of these orbitals are estimated. 相似文献

A theory of the diffractive scattering of loosely bound three-cluster nuclei by nuclei was developed with allowance for Coulomb interaction. The differential cross sections for the scattering of projectile exotic nuclei 7Be and 8B by 12C nuclei at an energy of 40 MeV per nucleon were calculated within the proposed formalism. The presence of substantial systematic discrepancies between the results of different experiments devoted to determining cross sections for partial photoneutron reactions??first of all, (??, n), (??, 2n), and (??, 3n) reactions??is a strong motivation for studying the reliability and authenticity of these data and for developing methods for taking into account and removing the discrepancies in question. In order to solve the first problem, we introduce objective absolute criteria involving transitional photoneutron-multiplicity functions F 1, F 2, F 3, ??; by definition, their values cannot exceed 1.0, 0.5, 0.33, ??, respectively. With the aim of solving the second problem, we propose a new experimental-theoretical approach. In this approach, reaction cross sections are evaluated by simultaneously employing experimental data on the cross section for the total photoneutron yield, ?? expt(??, xn) = ?? expt(??, n) + 2?? expt(??, 2n) + 3?? expt(??, 3n) + ??, which are free from drawbacks plaguing experimental methods for sorting neutrons in multiplicity, and the results obtained by calculating the functions F theor 1 , F theor 2 , F theor 3 , ?? on the basis of the modern model of photonuclear reactions. A global analysis of experimental data on the elastic and inelastic scattering of alpha particles by 90,94Zr nuclei and on the total cross sections for their interaction with these nuclei is performed.
