Abstract

Similarity reductions and new exact solutions are obtained for a nonlinear diffusion equation. These are obtained by using the classical symmetry group and reducing the partial differential equation to various ordinary differential equations. For the equations so obtained, first integrals are deduced which consequently give rise to explicit solutions. Potential symmetries, which are realized as local symmetries of a related auxiliary system, are obtained. For some special nonlinearities new symmetry reductions and exact solutions are derived by using the nonclassical method.  相似文献

The complete and incomplete aggregation-annihilation processes are investigated with the method of generating function, and the scale exponents are obtained exactly. We find that the scale exponents of incomplete aggregation-annihilation process are different from the previous exponents obtained by different methods. The dynamic equation for the optical tomogram of nonrelativistic quantum system with an arbitrary Hamiltonian is obtained. The kinetic equation in the classical relativistic kinetics is discussed, and its optical tomography representation is obtained. Dynamic equations for the Wigner functions of relativistic spinless quantum particles in electromagnetic and scalar fields are obtained. Optical tomographic-distribution functions of weakly relativistic spinless quantum particles are introduced, and dynamic equations for these functions in weak electric and scalar fields are obtained.  相似文献

在大气压氩气介质阻挡放电中,首次通过跃变外加电压得到了稳定的靶波斑图.实验分别研究了跃变再缓变和直接跃变升压模式下靶波斑图的稳定性和波长选择.研究发现,跃变再缓变升压之后得到的靶波斑图不稳定,其与螺旋波相互转换.在这种转换中,靶波每次出现的时间为几十毫秒.直接跃变升压得到的靶波斑图稳定性明显增强,其稳定时间通常为5 min以上.比较不同升压模式下靶波斑图的波长,发现直接跃变升压模式下波长随电压升高减小较快.综上表明,升压模式对靶波斑图的稳定性和波长都有影响. 关键词: 介质阻挡放电 靶波斑图 跃变升压 缓变升压  相似文献

The elastic constants and thermodynamic properties of diamond are investigated by using the CRYSTAL03 program. The lattice parameters, the bulk modulus, the heat capacity, the Grüneisen parameter, and the Debye temperature are obtained. The results are in good agreement with the available experimental and theoretical data. Moreover, the relationship between V/V0 and pressure, the elastic constants underhigh pressure are successfully obtained. Especially, the elastic constants of diamond under high pressure are firstly obtained theoretically. At the same time, the variations of the thermal expansion α with pressure P and temperature T are obtained systematically in the ranges of 0-870 GPa and 0-1600 K.  相似文献

The approximate analytical solutions of the D-dimensional space of the Schrӧdinger equation is studied with a newly proposed potential model. The proposed potential is a combination of Coulomb potential and inverse trigonometry scarf-type potential. The energy equation and the corresponding wave function are obtained using parametric Nikiforov–Uvarov method. The energy equations for Coulomb potential and inverse trigonometry scarf-type potential are respectively obtained by changing the numerical values of the potential strengths. It is found that the results obtained are equivalent to that previously obtained for Hellmann potential which is a combination of Coulomb potential and Yukawa potential. It is also found that the results for inverse trigonometry scarf potential are equivalent to the results previously obtained for Yukawa potential. Also, the Onicescus information energy of a system under the influence of the newly proposed potential is investigated in detail.  相似文献

The pseudospin and spin symmetric solutions of the Dirac equation with Hulthén-type tensor interaction are obtained under multi-parameter-exponential potential (MEP) for arbitrary κ states. The energy eigenvalues and the corresponding eigenfunctions are also obtained using the parametric Nikiforov-Uvarov (NU) method. Small angle X-ray scattering has been utilised to study the structure of hematite aggregates. The small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) spectra obtained provided insight into structure of the hematite aggregates and the size of the primary particles. The structural analysis results obtained by SAXS are consistent with previous results obtained from static light scattering studies. Both techniques indicate that the mass fractal dimensions of hematite aggregates are markedly higher than those obtained for other particle systems.  相似文献

For plate bending and stretching problems in two-dimensional (2D) dodecagonal quasi-crystal (QC) media, the reciprocal theorem and the general solution for QCs are applied in a novel way to obtain the appropriate stress and mixed boundary conditions accurate to all order. The method developed by Gregory and Wan is used to generate necessary conditions which the prescribed data on the edge of the plate must satisfy in order that it should generate a decaying state within the plate; these decaying state conditions are obtained explicitly for axisymmetric bending and stretching of a circular plate when stress or mixed conditions are imposed on the plate edge. They are then used for the correct formulation of boundary conditions for the interior solution. For the stress data, our boundary conditions coincide with those obtained in conventional forms of plate theories. More importantly, appropriate boundary conditions with a set of mixed edge-data are obtained for the first time. Furthermore, the corresponding necessary conditions for transversely isotropic elastic plate are obtained directly, and their isotropic elastic counterparts are also obtained.   相似文献

The purpose of this work is to investigate the accuracy of the mean beam length technique in high-temperature radiative heat transfer, combined with other modes of heat transfer. In order to study the validity of the mean beam length method, Nusselt numbers are presented for fully developed channel flow of a radiating nonisothermal hydrogen plasma. Black isothermal boundaries are considered. Numerical results obtained from the exact integrodifferential equation have been obtained previously for this problem. Linearized radiation and local thermodynamic equilibrium are assumed.The results show that the Nusselt numbers obtained by using the geometric mean beam length are in close agreement with results obtained by using the mean beam length. Therefore the complicated calculations needed to obtain the mean beam length are unnecessary.A comparison of the results obtained in the present work with previously reported work shows that the mean beam length technique is a better approximation to the exact solution than the optically-thick, or nongray differential approximation solutions.  相似文献

An improved first Rayleigh-Sommerfeld method (IRSM1) is proposed and applied to the analysis of cylindrical microlenses with small f-numbers. Numerical results obtained by both the IRSM1 and the original Rayleigh-Sommerfeld method (ORSM1) are compared with those obtained by the rigorous boundary element method (BEM). For both refractive and diffractive lenses, the results obtained by the IRSM1 are close to those obtained by the BEM even for small f-numbers; by contrast, the results by the ORSM1 differ significantly from those obtained by the BEM. Moreover, the IRSM1 uses much less time and computer memory in the computations than the BEM.  相似文献

The basic set of fluid equations can be reduced to the nonlinear Kortewege-de Vries (KdV) and nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equations. The rational solutions for the two equations has been obtained. The exact amplitude of the nonlinear ion-acoustic solitary wave can be obtained directly without resorting to any successive approximation techniques by a direct analysis of the given field equations. The Sagdeev's potential is obtained in terms of ion acoustic velocity by simply solving an algebraic equation. The soliton and double layer solutions are obtained as a small amplitude approximation. A comparison between the exact soliton solution and that obtained from the reductive perturbation theory are also discussed.  相似文献

Propagation of electromagnetic waves in an elliptic waveguide filled with plasma is investigated in elliptic co-ordinates. Dispersion relations for the natural modes of oscillation are obtained. Expressions for power transmitted along the waveguide are obtained as integrals of Mathieu functions. Dispersion relations for circular waveguides are also obtained as limiting cases.One of the authors (S. K. The Lamb waves are used for the ultrasonic characterization of welds because of their relative long-range propagation. In this paper, a simplified model of a weld-strip between two identical semi-infinite elastic layers is investigated. The reflected and transmitted ultrasonic fields are expressed by modal series whose coefficients are obtained by application of orthogonality relation. Comparisons with solutions obtained by finite elements wave propagation simulations are made. The energy balance between the incident and the scattered waves is also used to verify the accuracy of the obtained modal amplitudes.  相似文献

Periodic waves are presented in this Letter. With symbolic computation, equations for monochromatic waves are studied, and analytic periodic waves are obtained. Factors affecting properties of periodic waves are analyzed. Nonlinear metamaterials, with the continuous distribution of the dielectric permittivity obtained, are different from the ones with the discrete distribution.  相似文献

In this Letter, we obtained solutions to a class of density dependent diffusion Nagumo equations. In particular, series solutions are obtained, along with a bound for the range of the convergence. Also, numerical solutions are obtained by the Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg 45 method. Moreover, the dependence of the traveling wave solutions on various parameters is discussed. Furthermore, we compare the series solutions with the numerical solutions to validate the numerical method. The results obtained in this study reveal many interesting behaviors that warrant further study on the Nagumo equation.  相似文献
