We present a new systematic method to compute the Riemann mapping from the outside of the unit disc to the outside of a simply connected domain. We derive explicit relations between the coefficients of the Riemann mapping and the generalized polarization tensors associated with the domain. Because the generalized polarization tensors can be computed numerically, we are able to compute the coefficients of the Riemann mapping using these relations. We obtain considerable improvement of Makarov's estimate of the boundary behavior of a general conformal mapping from the unit disk to a simply connected domain in the complex plane. We apply the result to improve Makarov's comparison of harmonic measure with Hausdorff measure on simply connected domains.

运用Schwarz-Christoffel变换方法,建立多边形区域到带状区域共形映射数学模型.对于模型中的约束条件和奇异积分问题,根据Riemann(黎曼)原理,建立复参数与实参数互逆变换,消除非线性系统的约束条件;经过合理积分路径的确定,模型中的奇异积分转化为Gauss-Jacobi(高斯 雅可比)型积分;采用Levenberg-Marquardt算法对非线性系统模型进行求解.根据第一类椭圆函数性质,建立了矩形区域到带状区域共形映射数学模型,通过复参数椭圆函数的计算,得到矩形边界与带状区域边界的关系.最后,对8点对称多边形区域与27点不规则条带状区域计算,将不规则封闭区域边界映射到矩形区域边界,矩形区域内的正交网格,通过变换之后在多边形区域内依然满足正交性,为研究不规则区域到规则区域映射的数值计算奠定基础.  相似文献

We give a simple proof of a Riemann mapping theorem for domains in a Stein manifold with a spherical boundary. Those boundaries are real hypersurfaces which are locally CR equivalent to the sphere inside complex space. The main observation is that for higher dimensional Stein manifolds, the fundamental group of its boundary coincides with that of its interior.  相似文献

The envelope of holomorphy of an arbitrary domain in a two-dimensional Stein manifold is identified with a connected component of the set of equivalence classes of analytic discs immersed into the Stein manifold with boundary in the domain. This implies, in particular, that for each of its points the envelope of holomorphy contains an embedded (non-singular) Riemann surface (and also an immersed analytic disc) passing through this point with boundary contained in the natural embedding of the original domain into its envelope of holomorphy. Moreover, it says, that analytic continuation to a neighbourhood of an arbitrary point of the envelope of holomorphy can be performed by applying the Continuity Principle once. Another corollary concerns representation of certain elements of the fundamental group of the domain by boundaries of analytic discs. A particular case is the following. Given a contact three-manifold with Stein filling, any element of the fundamental group of the contact manifold whose representatives are contractible in the filling can be represented by the boundary of an immersed analytic disc.  相似文献

Rodin and Sullivan (1987) proved Thurston's conjecture that a scheme based on the Circle Packing Theorem converges to the Riemann mapping, thereby proved a refreshing geometric view of the Riemann Mapping Theorem. Naturally, we consider to use the ellipses to pack the bounded simply connected domain and obtain similarly a sequence simplicial homeomorphism between the ellipse packing and the circle packing. In this paper, we prove that these simplicial homeomorphism approximate a quasiconformal mapping from the bounded simply connected domain onto the unit disk with the modulus of their complex dilatations tending to 1 almost everywhere in the domain when the ratio of the longer axis and shorter axis of the ellipse tending to ∞.  相似文献

We show that if the Nevanlinna-Pick interpolation problem is solvable by a function mapping into a compact subset of the unit disc, then the problem remains solvable with the addition of any number of boundary interpolation conditions, provided the boundary interpolation values have modulus less than unity. We give new, inductive proofs of the Nevanlinna-Pick interpolation problem with any finite number of interpolation points in the interior and on the boundary of the domain of interpolation (the right half plane or unit disc), with function values and any finite number of derivatives specified. Our solutions are analytic on the closure of the domain of interpolation. Our proofs only require a minimum of matrix theory and operator theory. We also give new, straightforward algorithms for obtaining minimal H norm solutions. Finally, some numerical examples are given.  相似文献

Under the displacement and stress satisfying Riemann boundary value condition, the decoupled quasistatic linear thermoelasticity system is discussed on bounded simply connected domain. The quasistatic equilibrium equation is solved by using Riemann boundary value problem theory. Also decoupled temperature equation is studied by applying the contractive mapping principle. We consider a free boundary value problem arising from a non-symmetric problem of electrochemical machining (ECM). After a conformal mapping of the unknown domain the problem is transformed to a non-smooth non-linear Riemann–Hilbert problem for holomorphic functions in the complex unit disk. A special technique allows to remove the singularities in the boundary condition. Utilizing existence results for smooth non-orientable Riemann–Hilbert problems, existence and uniqueness of a solution are shown. Finally, we propose an iterative method of Newton type for the effective numerical computation of the free boundary of the anode and present some test results. © 1997 B. G. Let Q be a connected and simply connected domain on the Riemann sphere, not coinciding with the Riemann sphere and with the whole complex plane . Then, according to the Riemann Theorem, there exists a conformal bijection between Q and the exterior of the unit disk. The conformal deformations are contained in two classes of mappings quasiconformal and harmonic mappings. In this paper we consider the intersection of these classes. We show that, every K quasiconformal harmonic mapping between surfaces with boundary is a Lipschitz mapping. This extends some recent results of several authors where the same problem has been considered for plane domains. As an application it is given an explicit Lipschitz constant of normalized isothermal coordinates of a disk-type minimal surface in terms of boundary curve only. It seems that this kind of estimates are new for conformal mappings of the unit disk onto a Jordan domain as well.  相似文献

We construct the conformal mapping of the square with circular non-overlapping holes onto the square with non-overlapping slits. It is constructed as a solution of the Riemann–Hilbert problem for a multiply connected domain in a class of double periodic functions. The Riemann–Hilbert problem is reduced to a system of functional equations which is solved with an arbitrary order of approximations. On the basis of this conformal mapping, an analytical formula for the effective conductivity of randomly distributed cracks in 2D media is deduced. This formula extends the known before formulae to high density fractures in 2D media.  相似文献

Nonlinear Riemann - Hilbert problems (RHP) generalize two fundamental classical problems for complex analytic functions, namely: 1. the conformal mapping problem, and 2. the linear Riemann - Hilbert problem. This paper presents new results on global existence for the nonlinear (RHP) in doubly connected domains with nonclosed restriction curves for the boundary data. More precisely, our nonlinear (RHP) is required to become ?at infinity”?, i.e., for solutions having large moduli, a linear (RHP) with variable coefficients. Global existence for q-connected domains was already obtained in [9] for the special case that the restriction curves for the boundary data ?at infinity”? coincide with straight lines corresponding to linear (RHP)-s with special so-called constant - coefficient transversality boundary conditions. In this paper, the boundary conditions are much more general including highly nonlinear conditions for bounded solutions in the context of nontransversality. In order to prove global existence, we reduce the problem to nonlinear singular integral equations which can be treated by a degree theory of Fredholm - quasiruled mappings specifically constructed for mappings defined by nonlinar pseudodifferential operators.  相似文献
