On Symmetry Flows of Noncommutative Kadomtsev-Petviashvili Hierarchy   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
We discuss symmetry flows of noncommutative Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (NCKP) hierarchy. An operatorbased formulation, alternative to the star-product approach of extended symmetry flows is presented. Noncommutative additional symmetry flows of the NCKP hierarchy are formulated. A rescaling symmetry flow which is associated with the rescaling of whole coordinates is introduced.  相似文献

The Kadometsev-Petviashvili (KP) and modified KP (mKP) equations are retrieved from the first two soliton equations of coupled Korteweg-de Vries (cKdV) hierarchy. Based on the nonlinearization of Lax pairs, the KP and mKP equations are ultimately reduced to integrable finite-dimensional Hamiltonian systems in view of the r-matrix theory. Finally, the resulting Hamiltonian flows are linearized in Abel-Jacobi coordinates, such that some specially explicit quasi-periodic solutions to the KP and mKP equations are synchronously given in terms of theta functions through the Jacobi inversion.  相似文献

A method is proposed to construct a new extended KP hierarchy, which includes two types of KP equation with self-consistent sources and admits reductions to k-constrained KP hierarchy and to Gelfand-Dickey hierarchy with sources. It provides a general way to construct soliton equations with sources and their Lax representations.  相似文献

Abstract

In this paper, we construct the bilinear identities for the wave functions of an extended Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (KP) hierarchy, which is the KP hierarchy with particular extended flows. By introducing an auxiliary parameter, whose flow corresponds to the so-called squared eigenfunction symmetry of KP hierarchy, we find the tau-function for this extended KP hierarchy. It is shown that the bilinear identities will generate all the Hirota's bilinear equations for the zero-curvature forms of the extended KP hierarchy, which includes two types of KP equation with self-consistent sources (KPSCS). The Hirota's bilinear equations obtained in this paper for the KPSCS are in different forms by comparing with the existing results.  相似文献

The KP hierarchy has been extended to a large set of integrable hierarchies. The main idea is to utilize the additional symmetry of the KP hierarchy, although not commuting among themselves. But we found that their proper combinations do commute with the original KP flows and among themselves, so as to give rise to an enlarged integrable hierarchy, which we call the generalized KP hierarchy.  相似文献

Employing the compatibility method, we obtain the symmetries of the (3+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev Petviashvili (KP) equation. Four types of similarity reductions of the KP equation are obtained by solving the corresponding characteristic equations associated with symmetry equations. In addition, a lot of similarity solutions to the KP equation are obtadned.  相似文献

Based on the Orlov and Shulman’s M operator, the additional symmetries and the string equation of the CKP hierarchy are established, and then the higher order constraints on L l are obtained. In addition, the generating function and some properties are also given. In particular, the additional symmetry flows form a new infinite dimensional algebra , which is a subalgebra of W 1+∞.   相似文献

The conventional formulation of additional nonisospectral sysmmetries for the full Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (KP) integrable hierarchy is not compatible with the reduction to the important class of constrained KP (cKP) integrable models. This paper solves explicitly the problem of compatibility of the Virasoro part of additional symmetries with the underlying constraints of cKP hierarchies. Our construction involves an appropriate modification of the standard additional-symmetry flows by adding a set of “ghost symmetry” flows. We also discuss the special case of cKP — truncated KP hierarchies, obtained as Darboux-Bäcklund orbits of initial purely differential Lax operators. Our construction establishes the condition for commutativity of the additional-symmetry flows with the discrete Darboux-Bäcklund transformations of cKP hierarchies leading to a new derivation of the string-equation constraint in matrix models.  相似文献

The recently proposed supersymmetric extensions of reduced Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (KP) integrable hierarchies in N = 1, 2 superspace are shown to contain in the purely bosonic limit new types of ordinary non-supersymmetric integrable systems. The latter are coupled systems of several multi-component non-linear Schr?dinger-like hierarchies whose basic nonlinear evolution equations contain additional quintic and higher-derivative nonlinear terms. Also, we obtain the N = 2 supersymmetric extension of Toda chain model as Darboux-B?cklund orbit of the simplest reduced N = 2 super-KP hierarchy and find its explicit solution. Abstract

For the first time we show that the quasiclassical limit of the symmetry constraint of the Sato operator for the KP hierarchy leads to the generalized Zakharov reduction of the Sato function for the dispersionless KP (dKP) hierarchy which has been proved to be result of symmetry constraint of the dKP hierarchy recently. By either regarding the symmetry constrained dKP hierarchy as its stationary case or taking the dispersionless limit of the KP hierarchy with self-consistent sources directly, we construct a new integrable dispersionless hierarchy, i.e., the dKP hierarchy with self-consistent sources and find its associated conservation equations (or equations of Hamilton-Jacobi type). Some solutions of the dKP equation with self-consistent sources are also obtained by hodograph transformations.  相似文献

A one-parameter generalization of the hierarchy of negative flows is introduced for integrable hierarchies of evolution equations, which yields a wider (new) class of non-evolutionary integrable nonlinear wave equations. As main results, several integrability properties of these generalized negative flow equation are established, including their symmetry structure, conservation laws, and bi-Hamiltonian formulation. (The results also apply to the hierarchy of ordinary negative flows). The first generalized negative flow equation is worked out explicitly for each of the following integrable equations: Burgers, Korteweg-de Vries, modified Korteweg-de Vries, Sawada-Kotera, Kaup-Kupershmidt, Kupershmidt.  相似文献

Based on a discrete four-by-four matrix spectral problem, a hierarchy of Lax integrable lattice equations with two potentials is derived. Two Hamiltonian forms are constructed for each lattice equation in the resulting hierarchy by means of the discrete variational identity. A strong symmetry operator of the resulting hierarchy is given. Finally, it is shown that the resulting lattice equations are all Liouville integrable discrete Hamiltonian systems.  相似文献

A kind of new non-isospectral integrable couplings of discrete soliton equations hierarchy with self-consistent sources associated with is presented. As an application example, the integrable coupling hierarchy of non-isospectral Ablowitz-Ladik with self-consistent sources is derived by using of the loop algebra .  相似文献

A higher dimensional analogue of the KP hierarchy is presented. Fundamental constituents of the theory are pseudo-differential operators with Moyal algebraic coefficients. The new hierarchy can be interpreted as large-N limit of multi-component (gl (N) symmetric) KP hierarchies. Actually, two different hierarchies are constructed. The first hierarchy consists of commuting flows and may be thought of as a straightforward extension of the ordinary and multi-component KP hierarchies. The second one is a hierarchy of noncommuting flows, and related to Moyal algebraic deformations of selfdual gravity. Both hierarchies turn out to possess quasi-classical limit, replacing Moyal algebraic structures by Poisson algebraic structures. The language of W-infinity algebras provides a unified point of view to these results.  相似文献

The generalized (2+1)-dimensional KP, cKP and mKP are decomposed into the known (1+1)-dimensional soliton equations. Then, we show that the (1+1)-dimensional soliton equations give rise to the explicit soliton solutions of the generalized KP, cKP and mKP.  相似文献

In this paper, we construct the quantum torus symmetry of the KP hierarchy and further derive the quantum torus constraint on the tau function of the KP hierarchy. That means we give a nice representation of the quantum torus Lie algebra in the KP system by acting on its tau function. Comparing to the W symmetry, this quantum torus symmetry has a nice algebraic structure with double indices. Further by reduction, we also construct the quantum torus symmetries of the KdV and BKP hierarchies and further derive the quantum torus constraints on their tau functions. These quantum torus constraints might have applications in the quantum field theory, supersymmetric gauge theory and so on.  相似文献

In terms of the operator Nambu 3-bracket and the Lax pair (L, Bn) of the KP hierarchy, we propose the generalized Lax equation with respect to the Lax triple (L, Bn, Bm). The intriguing results are that we derive the KP equation and another integrable equation in the KP hierarchy from the generalized Lax equation with the different Lax triples (L, Bn, Bm). Furthermore we derive some no integrable evolution equations and present their single soliton solutions.  相似文献
