Heat capacities of crystalline 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide [C4mim][NTf2] and 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide [C6mim][NTf2] in the range 80 K-Tfus were measured in an adiabatic calorimeter. Anomalies in the heat-capacity curves for the both compounds occurred near 240 K. Positions of the anomalies depended on thermal history of the samples. More stable crystals had higher heat capacities in the range 220-260 K. Below 200 K heat capacities of all the crystals of the same compound were indistinguishable.  相似文献

The volumetric properties of seven {water + ionic liquid} binary mixtures have been studied as a function of temperature from (293 to 343) K. The phase behaviour of the systems was first investigated using a nephelometric method and excess molar volumes were calculated from densities measured using an Anton Paar densimeter and fitted using a Redlich–Kister type equation. Two ionic liquids fully miscible with water (1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([C1C4Im][BF4]) and 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium ethylsulfate ([C1C2Im][EtSO4])) and five ionic liquids only partially miscible with water (1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ([C1C2Im][NTf2]), 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ([C1C4Im][NTf2]), 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([C1C4Im][PF6]), 1-butyl-3-methylpyrrolidinium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ([C1C4Pyrro][NTf2]), and butyltrimethylammonium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ([N4111][NTf2])) were chosen. Small excess volumes (less than 0.5 cm3 · mol?1 at 298 K) are obtained compared with the molar volumes of the pure components (less than 0.3% of the molar volume of the pure ionic liquid). For all the considered systems, except for {[C1C2Im][EtSO4] + water}, positive excess molar volumes were calculated. Finally, an increase of the non-ideality character is observed for all the systems as temperature increases.  相似文献

The 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bistriflamide + 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium bistriflamide ([C2mim]NTf2 + [C6mim]NTf2) system was investigated by adiabatic calorimetry over the temperature range 80–370 K. 以1-甲基咪唑为原料, 制备了6个常规离子液体: 1-正丁基-3-甲基咪唑四氟硼酸盐及六氟磷酸盐(简称[bmim][BF4]及[bmim][PF6])、1-正己基-3-甲基咪唑四氟硼酸盐及六氟磷酸盐(简称[hmim][BF4]及[hmim][PF6])、1-正十六烷基-3-甲基咪唑四氟硼酸盐及六氟磷酸盐(简称[C16mim][BF4]及[C16mim][PF6])和4个功能化离子液体: 1-(2-羟乙基)-3-甲基咪唑四氟硼酸盐及六氟磷酸盐(简称[2-hemim][BF4]及[2-hemim][PF6])、1-乙氧羰基甲基-3-甲基咪唑四氟硼酸盐及六氟磷酸盐(简称[eocmmim][BF4]及[eocmmim][PF6]). 研究了这两类离子液体的一些物理性能, 旨在挖掘离子液体在香料香精化妆品工业中的应用价值. 分别检测了它们与一般溶剂的互溶性, 并测定了它们的表面张力和发泡性能, 实验结果表明, 仅[C16mim][BF4]和[C16mim][PF6]具有发泡性能, 发泡力分别为68和120 mm.  相似文献

Micellization behavior of the twin-tailed surfactants can be modulated by the addition of various modifiers. Ionic liquids (ILs) are one of them and are documented here. The beauty of these environmentally benign neoteric molecules lies in their structural versatility. Here, we have investigated the effect of three ILs: 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide ([C4mim][Br]), 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide ([C6mim][Br]), and 1-octyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide ([C8mim][Br]) on the aggregation and surface adsorption behavior of cationic gemini surfactant, bis(hexadecyldimethyl ammonium)propane dibromide (16-3-16) through experimentally measured electrical conductivities, surface tensions, and by spectral methods (UV-vis absorbance and fluorescence measurements). The main focus of the study is to observe the effect of added ILs on the critical micelle concentration (cmc), various surface parameters, aggregation number, and size of the aggregates of gemini surfactant. The results show that the more hydrophobic ILs, that is, [C6mim][Br] and [C8mim][Br] behave as electrolyte at lower concentration and cosurfactant at higher concentration, whereas moderately hydrophobic IL [C4mim][Br] acts as an electrolyte at all concentration ranges studied. The modulating effects of ILs were also compared with conventional electrolyte (NaBr) at similar conditions.  相似文献

The density, viscosity and conductivity of ionic liquids (ILs), 1-octyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([omim][BF4]), 1-octyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([omim][Cl]), 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([hmim] BF4]), 1-hexyl- 3-methylimidazolium chloride ([hmim][Cl]), 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([hmim][PF6]), and the [omim][BF4] + [omim][Cl], [hmim][BF4] + [hmim][Cl], and [hmim][PF6] + [hmim][Cl] binary mixtures were studied at dif- ferent temperatures. It was demonstrated that the densities of both the neat ILs and their mixtures varied linearly with temper- ature. The density sensitivity of a binary mixture is between those of the two components. The excess molar volumes (VE) of [hmim][BF4] + [hmim][Cl] and [hmim][PF6] + [hmim][Cl] mixtures are positive in the whole composition range. For [omim][BF4] + [omim][Cl], the VE is also positive in the [omim][Cl]-rich region, but is negative in the [omim][BF4]-rich re- gion. The viscosity or conductivity of a mixture is in the intermediate of those of the two neat ILs. For all the neat ILs and the binary mixtures studied, the order of conductivity is opposite to that of the viscosity. The Vogel-Tammann-Fulcher (VTF) equations can be used to fit the viscosity and conductivity of all the neat ILs and the binary mixtures. The neat ILs and their mixtures obey the Fractional Walden Rule very well, and the values of the Walden slopes are all smaller than unit, indicating obvious ion associations in the neat ILs and the binary mixtures.  相似文献

This paper reports on the electrodeposition of aluminium on several substrates from the air‐ and water‐stable ionic liquids 1‐propyl‐1‐methylpiperidinium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)amide ([C3mpip][NTf2]) and 1‐butyl‐1‐methylpyrrolidinium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)amide ([C4mpyr][NTf2]), which contain anhydrous AlCl3. At an AlCl3 concentration of 0.75 molal, no evidence for aluminium electrodeposition was observed in either system at room temperature. However, aluminium electrodeposition becomes feasible upon heating the samples to 80 °C. Aluminium electrodeposition from bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)amide‐based ionic liquids that contain AlCl3 has previously been shown to be very dependent upon the AlCl3 concentration and has not been demonstrated at AlCl3 concentrations below 1.13 molal. The dissolution of AlCl3 in [C3mpip][NTf2] and [C4mpyr][NTf2] was studied by variable‐temperature 27Al NMR spectroscopy to gain insights on the electroactive species responsible for aluminium electrodeposition. A similar change in the aluminium speciation with temperature was observed in both ionic liquids, thereby indicating that the chemistry was similar in both. The electrodeposition of aluminium was shown to coincide with the formation of an asymmetric four‐coordinate aluminium‐containing species with an 27Al chemical shift of δ=94 and 92 ppm in the [C3mpip][NTf2]–AlCl3 and [C4mpyr][NTf2]–AlCl3 systems, respectively. It was concluded that the aluminium‐containing species that give rise to these resonances corresponds to the electroactive species and was assigned to [AlCl3(NTf2)]?.  相似文献

Heat capacities in a range of temperatures of (5 to 370) K, enthalpies and temperatures of phase transitions for 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(triflamide) ([C2mim][NTf2]) and 1-octyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(triflamide) ([C8mim][NTf2]) have been determined by adiabatic calorimetry. [C2mim][NTf2] has been found to form four crystalline phases with different fusion temperatures. Formation of the phases can be controlled by the temperature of annealing during crystallization. [C8mim][NTf2] forms three sequences of crystalline modifications, each including two polymorphs. Based on results of the measurements, thermodynamic functions for the compounds under study have been calculated.A heat-capacity anomaly near T = 230 K reported earlier for [C4mim][NTf2] and [C6mim][NTf2] have been found in some crystalline modifications of both the studied compounds. The position of the anomaly depends on the temperature of annealing of the crystals.  相似文献

Several imidazolium-based ionic liquids (ILs) with varying cation alkyl chain length (C4–C10) and anion type (tetrafluoroborate ([BF4]), hexafluorophosphate ([PF6]) and bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ([Tf2N])) were used as reaction media in the microwave polymerization of methacrylate-based stationary phases. Scanning electron micrographs and backpressures of poly(butyl methacrylate-ethylene dimethacrylate) (poly(BMA-EDMA)) monoliths synthesized in the presence of these ionic liquids demonstrated that porosity and permeability decreased when cation alkyl chain length and anion hydrophobicity were increased. Performance of these monoliths was assessed for their ability to separate parabens by capillary electrochromatography (CEC). Intra-batch precision (n = 3 columns) for retention time and peak area ranged was 0.80–1.13% and 3.71–4.58%, respectively. In addition, a good repeatability of RSDRetention time = <0.30% and ∼1.0%, RSDPeak area = <1.30% and <4.3%, and RSDEfficiency = <0.6% and <11.5% for intra-day and inter-day, respectively exemplify monolith performance reliability for poly(BMA-EDMA) fabricated using 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([C6mim][BF4]) porogen. This monolith was also tested for its potential in nanoLC to separate protein digests in gradient mode. ILs as porogens also fabricated different alkyl methacrylate (AMA) (C4–C18) monoliths. Furthermore, employing binary IL porogen mixture such as 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([C4mim][BF4]) and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ([C4mim][Tf2N]) successfully decreased the denseness of the monolith, than when using [C4mim][Tf2N] IL alone, enabling a chromatographic run to be performed with 1:1 ratio produced baseline separation for the analytes. The combination of ILs and microwave irradiation made polymer synthesis very fast (∼10 min), entirely green (organic solvent-free) and energy saving process.  相似文献

Lysozyme crystals in the presence of 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([C4mim]BF4), 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([C4mim]Cl), 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide([C4mim]Br), and 1,3-dimethylimidazolium iodine([dmim]I) were prepared, and the influence of ionic liquids (ILs) on the structure and activity change of lysozyme was investigated. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy revealed the major secondary structures of α-helix and β-sheet for lysozyme. It was interesting to note that increases of the band near 2,935 and 1,656 cm?1 from Raman spectroscopy are attributed to the unfolding of lysozyme molecules. A shift in amide III from 1,230 to 1,270 cm?1 in adding [dmim]I occurs, indicating a transformation from β-sheet to random coil. With regard to adding [C4mim]BF4, [C4mim]Cl, and [C4mim]Br, α-helix and β-sheet are the predominant structures for lysozyme. The activity study showed that the ILs used brought a positive effect. Especially, [dmim]I leads to a drastic increase in relative activity, and its value reaches 50 %.  相似文献

The partial molar volume of a gas that is dissolved at high dilution in a solvent is required to express the influence of pressure on Henry's constant as well as to describe the volume change (expansion) of the liquid caused by the dissolved gas. The correlations of recently published experimental results for the solubility of some selected gases (CO2, Xe, CH4, CF4, H2, CO, O2) in three imidazolium-based ionic liquids (1-n-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([bmim][PF6]), 1-n-butyl-3-methylimidazolium methyl sulfate ([bmim][CH3SO4]), and 1-n-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)amide ([hmim][Tf2N])) determined by the synthetic method were re-evaluated by also considering the experimentally determined volumetric properties. The new evaluation does not change the published results for Henry's constants, but additionally yields reliable information on the partial molar volume of those gases in the mentioned ionic liquids at temperatures from about 293 to 413 K.  相似文献

To separate heat-generating Cs from high-level liquid waste (HLLW), the extraction of Cs(I) using 1,3-[(2,4-diethylheptylethoxy)oxy]-2,4-crown-6-calix[4]arene (calix[4]arene-R14) in combination with 1-alkyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide) ionic liquids ([C n mim][NTf2], where n?=?2, 4, and 6) was investigated. Under moderately acidic conditions, the calix[4]arene-R14/[C n mim][NTf2] system showed a higher extraction efficiency (ECs) than that exhibited by the conventional calix[4]arene-R14/dichloromethane system. All extraction processes reached equilibrium within 5 min. Slope analysis revealed that the Cs:calix[4]arene-R14 inclusion complex has a 1:1 stoichiometry. The extraction was found to be exothermic and influenced by the presence of Na(I). These extraction systems exhibited high efficiency and selectivity for Cs(I) in simulated HLLW.  相似文献

Extraction of Np4+ and \( {\text{NpO}}_{2}^{2 + } \) was carried out from nitric acid feeds using solutions of N,N,N′,N′-tetra-n-octyldiglycolamide (TODGA) in two imidazolium-based room temperature ionic liquids, viz., 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethanesulphonyl) imide ([C4mim][NTf2]) and 1-octyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethanesulphonyl) imide ([C8mim][NTf2]). The extraction equilibrium was attained within 2 h for both the metal ions in both the ionic liquids. While a cation exchange mechanism is proposed for the extraction of \( {\text{NpO}}_{2}^{2 + } , \) an ion-pair mechanism of extraction is proposed for the Np4+ ion. The nature of the extracted species was determined by carrying out experiments at varying concentrations of TODGA, and species of the type Np(L)2(NO3)4 and NpO2(L)2+ were found to be extracted in 3 mol·dm?3 HNO3. The identification of these extracted species was also supported from the variable nitrate and C4mim+ ion concentration experiments.  相似文献

Extraction of Li+ ions from salt lake brine into an ionic liquid 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ([C2mim][NTf2]) mixed with tri-n-butyl was investigated. The extraction mechanism was been studied using UV–Vis spectroscopy From the temperature dependence data, the thermodynamic functions values (ΔG°, ΔH°, and ΔS°) were calculated. Tri-n-butylphosphate (TBP) in an ionic liquid (IL) has been proposed as a suitable alternative for the solvent extraction of actinides from nitric acid solutions. This paper reports the detailed investigations on the physicochemical and hydrodynamic properties of the solvent system containing TBP in 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide ([C4mim][NTf2]) IL. The properties such as density, viscosity, phase separation time (PST), etc., were measured for irradiated and unirradiated solvent phases composed of TBP, [C4mim][NTf2] and 1.1 mol·L–1 TBP in [C4mim][NTf2]. The results are compared with the values obtained in acid-equilibrated IL phases. ATR–FTIR spectroscopy and dynamic light scattering measurement of the IL phase were employed to characterize the interactions among the IL, TBP and nitric acid medium, and the aggregate size of the adduct formed in the IL phase.  相似文献

1-烷基-3-甲基咪唑双三氟甲基磺酰胺型离子液体(Cnmim][NTf2])被认为是最有希望用于核燃料循环中的分离试剂之一, 虽然其化学结构在辐照过程中变化不大, 但在受到γ辐照后会发生明显的变色, 因此有必要研究该类离子液体的变色原因. 本文以60Co为辐照源, 系统研究了辐照后不同C(1)-烷基链长和咪唑环上C(2)位上的H被甲基取代后离子液体的紫外-可见(UV-Vis)吸收光谱行为, 并结合辐照后离子液体荧光光谱和质谱的变化, 分析了导致该类离子液体辐照后颜色加深的原因. 结果表明, 随着咪唑环上C(1)―烷基链长度和剂量增大, 离子液体颜色加深; 而C(2)位上的H被甲基取代后颜色明显变浅. 辐照后咪唑型离子液体的变色主要来自于辐照后产生的烷基侧链含双键的咪唑阳离子, 咪唑阳离子二聚体和含氟咪唑化合物. 此外, γ辐照引起咪唑阳离子易发生π-π堆积, 而聚集态含量增加也会引起颜色加深.  相似文献

Baicalin which has multiple biological activities is the main active component of the root of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi (SBG). Although its isolation and purification by adsorption methods have aroused much interest of the scientific community, it suffered from the poor selectivity of the adsorbents. In this work, an environmentally benign method was developed to prepare ionic liquids (ILs) grafted silica by using IL 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ([C4mim]NTf2) and ethanol as reaction media. The IL 1-propyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([C3mim]Cl) grafted silica ([C3mim]+Cl@SiO2) was used to adsorb and purify baicalin from the root extract of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi (SBG). Experimental results indicated that the adsorption equilibrium can be quickly achieved (within 10 min). The adsorption behavior of [C3mim]+Cl@SiO2 for baicalin was in good agreement with Langmuir and Freundlich models and the adsorption was a physisorption process as suggested by Dubinin–Radushkevich model. Compared with commercial resins, [C3mim]+Cl@SiO2 showed the strongest adsorption ability and highest selectivity. After desorption and crystallization, a purity of baicalin as high as 96.5% could be obtained. These results indicated that the ILs grafted silica materials were promising adsorbents for the adsorption and purification of baicalin and showed huge potential in the purification of other bioactive compounds from natural sources.  相似文献

(Liquid + liquid) equilibrium data for the ionic liquids 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide, [EMim][NTf2], 1-propyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide, [PMim][NTf2], 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide, [BMim][NTf2], and 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide, [HMim][NTf2], mixed with ethanol and heptane were studied at T = 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure. The ability of these ionic liquids as solvents for the extraction of ethanol from heptane was evaluated in terms of selectivity and solute distribution ratio. Moreover, density and refractive index values over the miscible region for the ternary mixtures were also measured at T = 313.15 K. Finally, the experimental data were correlated with the Non Random Two Liquids (NRTL) and UNIversal QUAsi Chemical (UNIQUAC) thermodynamic models, and an exhaustive comparison with available literature data of the studied systems was carried out.  相似文献

Song and Mason equation of state (EOS) with a simple modification has been extended to modelling PVT properties of ionic liquids (ILs). The considered ILs are [C1mim][MeSO4], [C1mim][CH3OC2H5SO4], [C1mim][(CH3)2PO4], [C2mim][MeSO4], [C2mim][BF4], [C2mim][SCN], [C2eim][NTf2], [C4mim][C(CN)3], [C4mim][CF3SO3], [C4mim][SCN], [C5mim][NTf2], [C8mim][NTf2], [(C6H13)3P(C14H29)][Cl], [(C6H13)3P(C14H29)][NTf2], [(C6H13)3P(C14H29)][Ac], [C3mpyr][NTf2], [C4mpyr][NTf2] and [Py][C2H5OC2H4SO4]. Three temperature-dependent parameters in the proposed EOS have been scaled as functions of reduced temperature with the use of the law of corresponding states. It is shown that the knowledge of just critical temperature and critical density is sufficient to predict the PVT properties of these ILs. The overall average absolute deviation of calculated densities from literature values for 1347 data points of 18 ILs was found to be 0.58%. The predicted density of ILs from proposed EOS has been compared with those obtained by other literature work. Moreover, we indicate that the Zeno line regularity can well be predicted by proposed model for ILs.  相似文献

The radiation effect on a hydrophobic room-temperature ionic liquid (RTIL), 1-butyl-3-methyl-imidazolium bis[(trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl]imide ([C4mim][NTf2]), was studied by γ-irradiation under nitrogen atmosphere. Accompanied by color darkening and increase of light absorbance in a wide wavelength range, a distinct absorption peak at around 290 nm for irradiated [C4mim][NTf2] appeared when acetonitrile was used as solvent, and the intensity of the peak enhanced with increasing dose. The spectrophotometric study on the irradiated RTILs containing 1,3-dialkylimidazolium cations associated with different inorganic anions revealed that the peak is ascribed to the radiolysis products of the [C4mim]+. And the wavelength of the peak was affected by alkyl chain length on imidazolium cation, while the intensity of the peak was influenced by anions. With incorporating a little amounts of oxidants, such as KMnO4 and HNO3 into irradiated [C4mim][NTf2], the intensity of the peak at 290 nm decreased obviously and the decoloration of [C4mim][NTf2] occurred, suggesting that the peak at 290 nm is assigned to the colored species and the species can be oxidized.  相似文献
