In each of the zinc(II) complexes bis(acetylacetonato‐κ2O,O′)(1,10‐phenanthroline‐κ2N,N′)zinc(II), [Zn(C5H7O2)2(C12H8N2)], (I), and bis(acetylacetonato‐κ2O,O′)(2,2′‐bipyridine‐κ2N,N′)zinc(II), [Zn(C5H7O2)2(C10H8N2)], (II), the metal center has a distorted octahedral coordination geometry. Compound (I) has crystallographically imposed twofold symmetry, with Z′ = 0.5. The presence of a rigid phenanthroline group precludes intramolecular hydrogen bonding, whereas the rather flexible bipyridyl ligand is twisted to form an intramolecular C—H...O interaction [the chelated bipyridyl ligand is nonplanar, with the pyridyl rings inclined at an angle of 13.4 (1)°]. The two metal complexes are linked by dissimilar C—H...O interactions into one‐dimensional chains. The present study demonstrates the distinct effects of two commonly used ligands, viz. 1,10‐phenanthroline and 2,2′‐bipyridine, on the structures of metal complexes and their assembly.  相似文献

Iron is of interest as a catalyst because of its established use in the Haber–Bosch process and because of its high abundance and low toxicity. Nitrogen‐heterocyclic carbenes (NHC) are important ligands in homogeneous catalysis and iron–NHC complexes have attracted increasing attention in recent years but still face problems in terms of stability under oxidative conditions. The structure of the iron(II) complex [1,1′‐bis(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐2,2‐bi(1H‐imidazole)‐κN3][3,3′‐bis(pyridin‐2‐yl‐κN)‐1,1′‐methanediylbi(1H‐imidazol‐2‐yl‐κC2)](trimethylphosphane‐κP)iron(II) bis(hexafluoridophosphate), [Fe(C17H14N6)(C16H12N6)(C3H9P)](PF6)2, features coordination by an organic decomposition product of a tetradentate NHC ligand in an axial position. The decomposition product, a C—C‐coupled biimidazole, is trapped by coordination to still‐intact iron(II) complexes. Insights into the structural features of the organic decomposition products might help to improve the stability of oxidation catalysts under harsh conditions.  相似文献

The single‐crystal X‐ray structures of dimethyl 2,2′‐bipyridine‐6,6′‐dicarboxylate, C14H12N2O4, and the copper(I) coordination complex bis(dimethyl 2,2′‐bipyridine‐6,6′‐dicarboxylato‐κ2N,N′)copper(I) tetrafluoroborate, [Cu(C14H12N2O4)2]BF4, are reported. The uncoordinated ligand crystallizes across an inversion centre and adopts the anticipated anti pyridyl arrangement with coplanar pyridyl rings. In contrast, upon coordination of copper(I), the ligand adopts an arrangement of pyridyl donors facilitating chelating metal coordination and an increased inter‐pyridyl twisting within each ligand. The distortion of each ligand contrasts with comparable copper(I) complexes of unfunctionalized 2,2′‐bipyridine.  相似文献

A two‐dimensional MnII coordination polymer (CP), poly[bis[μ2‐2,6‐bis(imidazol‐1‐yl)pyridine‐κ2N3:N3′]bis(thiocyanato‐κN)manganese] [Mn(NCS)2(C11H9N5)2]n, (I), has been obtained by the self‐assembly reaction of Mn(ClO4)2·6H2O, NH4SCN and bent 2,6‐bis(imidazol‐1‐yl)pyridine (2,6‐bip). CP (I) was characterized by FT–IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The crystal structure features a unique two‐dimensional (4,4) network with one‐dimensional channels. The luminescence and nitrobenzene‐sensing properties were explored in a DMF suspension, revealing that CP (I) shows a strong luminescence emission and is highly sensitive for nitrobenzene detection.  相似文献

The design and synthesis of functional coordination polymers is motivated not only by their structural beauty but also by their potential applications. ZnII and CdII coordination polymers are promising candidates for producing photoactive materials because these d10 metal ions not only possess a variety of coordination numbers and geometries, but also exhibit luminescence properties when bound to functional ligands. It is difficult to predict the final structure of such polymers because the assembly process is influenced by many subtle factors. Bis(imidazol‐1‐yl)‐substituted alkane/benzene molecules are good bridging ligands because their flexibility allows them to bend and rotate when they coordinate to metal centres. Two new ZnII and CdII coordination polymers based on mixed ligands, namely, poly[[μ2‐1,4‐bis(imidazol‐1‐ylmethyl)benzene‐κ2N3:N3′]bis(μ3‐2,2‐dimethylbutanoato‐κ3O1:O4:O4′)dizinc(II)], [Zn2(C6H8O4)2(C14H14N4)]n, and poly[[μ2‐1,4‐bis(imidazol‐1‐ylmethyl)benzene‐κ2N3:N3′]bis(μ3‐2,2‐dimethylbutanoato‐κ5O1,O1′:O4,O4′:O4)dicadmium(II)], [Cd2(C6H8O4)2(C14H14N4)]n, have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction, elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis. Both complexes crystallize in the monoclinic space group C2/c with similar unit‐cell parameters and feature two‐dimensional structures formed by the interconnection of S‐shaped Zn(Cd)–2,2‐dimethylsuccinate chains with 1,4‐bis(imidazol‐1‐ylmethyl)benzene bridges. However, the CdII and ZnII centres have different coordination numbers and the 2,2‐dimethylsuccinate ligands display different coordination modes. Both complexes exhibit a blue photoluminescence in the solid state at room temperature.  相似文献

The complexes [2‐(1H‐imidazol‐4‐yl‐κN3)ethylamine‐κN]bis(tri‐tert‐butoxysilanethiolato‐κS)cobalt(II), [Co(C12H27O3SSi)2(C5H9N3)], and [2‐(1H‐imidazol‐4‐yl‐κN3)ethylamine‐κN]bis(tri‐tert‐butoxysilanethiolato‐κS)zinc(II), [Zn(C12H27O3SSi)2(C5H9N3)], are isomorphous. The central ZnII/CoII ions are surrounded by two S atoms from the tri‐tert‐butoxysilanethiolate ligand and by two N atoms from the chelating histamine ligand in a distorted tetrahedral geometry, with two intramolecular N—H...O hydrogen‐bonding interactions between the histamine NH2 groups and tert‐butoxy O atoms. Molecules of the complexes are joined into dimers via two intermolecular bifurcated N—H...(S,O) hydrogen bonds. The ZnII atom in [(1H‐imidazol‐4‐yl‐κN3)methanol]bis(tri‐tert‐butoxysilanethiolato‐κ2O,S)zinc(II), [Zn(C12H27O3SSi)2(C4H6N2O)], is five‐coordinated by two O and two S atoms from the O,S‐chelating silanethiolate ligand and by one N atom from (1H‐imidazol‐4‐yl)methanol; the hydroxy group forms an intramolecular hydrogen bond with sulfur. Molecules of this complex pack as zigzag chains linked by N—H...O hydrogen bonds. These structures provide reference details for cysteine‐ and histidine‐ligated metal centers in proteins.  相似文献

The coordination polymers catena‐poly[[[(4,4′‐bi‐1,2,4‐triazole‐κN1)bis(thiocyanato‐κN)copper(II)]‐μ‐4,4′‐bi‐1,2,4‐triazole‐κ2N1:N1′] dihydrate], {[Cu(NCS)2(C4H4N6)2]·2H2O}n, (I), and poly[tetrakis(μ‐4,4′‐bi‐1,2,4‐triazole‐κ2N1:N1′)bis(μ‐thiocyanato‐κ2N:S)tetrakis(thiocyanato‐κN)tricadmium(II)], [Cd3(NCS)6(C4H4N6)4]n, (II), exhibit chain and two‐dimensional layer structures, respectively. The differentiation of the Lewis acidic nature of CuII and CdII has an influence on the coordination modes of the triazole and thiocyanate ligands, leading to topologically different polymeric motifs. In (I), copper ions are linked by bitriazole N:N′‐bridges into zigzag chains and the tetragonal–pyramidal CuN5 environment is composed of two thiocyanate N atoms and three triazole N atoms [basal Cu—N = 1.9530 (18)–2.0390 (14) Å and apical Cu—N = 2.2637 (15) Å]. The structure of (II) contains two types of crystallographically unique CdII atoms. One type lies on an inversion center in a distorted CdN6 octahedral environment, with bitriazole ligands in the equatorial plane and terminal isothiocyanate N atoms in the axial positions. The other type lies on a general position and forms centrosymmetric binuclear [Cd2(μ‐NCS‐κ2N:S)2(NCS)2] units (tetragonal–pyramidal CdN4S coordination). N:N′‐Bridging bitriazole ligands link the Cd centers into a flat (4,4)‐network.  相似文献

The Zn complexes bis(acetylacetonato‐κ2O,O′)bis{4′‐[4‐(methylsulfanyl)phenyl]‐4,2′:6′,4′′‐terpyridine‐κN1}zinc(II), [Zn(C5H7O2)2(C22H17N3S)2], (I), and {μ‐4′‐[4‐(methylsulfanyl)phenyl]‐4,2′:6′,4′′‐terpyridine‐κ2N1:N1′′}bis[bis(acetylacetonato‐κ2O,O′)zinc(II)], [Zn2(C5H7O2)4(C22H17N3S)], (II), are discrete entities with different nuclearities. Compound (I) consists of two centrosymmetrically related monodentate 4′‐[4‐(methylsulfanyl)phenyl]‐4,2′:6′,4′′‐terpyridine (L1) ligands binding to one ZnII atom sitting on an inversion centre and two centrosymmetrically related chelating acetylacetonate (acac) groups which bind via carbonyl O‐atom donors, giving an N2O4 octahedral environment for ZnII. Compound (II), however, consists of a bis‐monodentate L1 ligand bridging two ZnII atoms from two different Zn(acac)2 fragments. Intra‐ and intermolecular interactions are weak, mainly of the C—H...π and π–π types, mediating similar layered structures. In contrast to related structures in the literature, sulfur‐mediated nonbonding interactions in (II) do not seem to have any significant influence on the supramolecular structure.  相似文献

Two mononuclear copper complexes, {bis[(3,5‐dimethyl‐1H‐pyrazol‐1‐yl‐κN2)methyl]amine‐κN}(3,5‐dimethyl‐1H‐pyrazole‐κN2)(perchlorato‐κO)copper(II) perchlorate, [Cu(ClO4)(C5H8N2)(C12H19N5)]ClO4, (I), and {bis[(3,5‐dimethyl‐1H‐pyrazol‐1‐yl‐κN2)methyl]amine‐κN}bis(3,5‐dimethyl‐1H‐pyrazole‐κN2)copper(II) bis(hexafluoridophosphate), [Cu(C5H8N2)2(C12H19N5)](PF6)2, (II), have been synthesized by the reactions of different copper salts with the tripodal ligand tris[(3,5‐dimethyl‐1H‐pyrazol‐1‐yl)methyl]amine (TDPA) in acetone–water solutions at room temperature. Single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis revealed that they contain the new tridentate ligand bis[(3,5‐dimethyl‐1H‐pyrazol‐1‐yl)methyl]amine (BDPA), which cannot be obtained by normal organic reactions and has thus been captured in the solid state by in situ synthesis. The coordination of the CuII ion is distorted square pyramidal in (I) and distorted trigonal bipyramidal in (II). The new in situ generated tridentate BDPA ligand can act as a meridional or facial ligand during the process of coordination. The crystal structures of these two compounds are stabilized by classical hydrogen bonding as well as intricate nonclassical hydrogen‐bond interactions.  相似文献

Copper(II) bis(4,4,4‐trifluoro‐1‐phenylbutane‐1,3‐dionate) complexes with pyridin‐2‐one (pyon), 3‐hydroxypyridine (hpy) and 3‐hydroxypyridin‐2‐one (hpyon) were prepared and the solid‐state structures of (pyridin‐2‐one‐κO )bis(4,4,4‐trifluoro‐3‐oxo‐1‐phenylbutan‐1‐olato‐κ2O ,O ′)copper(II), [Cu(C10H6F3O2)2(C5H5NO)] or [Cu(tfpb‐κ2O ,O ′)2(pyon‐κO )], (I), bis(pyridin‐3‐ol‐κO )bis(4,4,4‐trifluoro‐3‐oxo‐1‐phenylbutan‐1‐olato‐κ2O ,O ′)copper(II), [Cu(C10H6F3O2)2(C5H5NO)2] or [Cu(tfpb‐κ2O ,O ′)2(hpy‐κO )2], (II), and bis(3‐hydroxypyridin‐2‐one‐κO )bis(4,4,4‐trifluoro‐3‐oxo‐1‐phenylbutan‐1‐olato‐κ2O ,O ′)copper(II), [Cu(C10H6F3O2)2(C5H5NO2)2] or [Cu(tfpb‐κ2O ,O ′)2(hpyon‐κO )2], (III), were determined by single‐crystal X‐ray analysis. The coordination of the metal centre is square pyramidal and displays a rare example of a mutual cis arrangement of the β‐diketonate ligands in (I) and a trans‐octahedral arrangement in (II) and (III). Complex (II) presents the first crystallographic evidence of κO‐monodentate hpy ligation to the transition metal enabling the pyridine N atom to participate in a two‐dimensional hydrogen‐bonded network through O—H…N interactions, forming a graph‐set motif R 22(7) through a C—H…O interaction. Complex (III) presents the first crystallographic evidence of monodentate coordination of the neutral hpyon ligand to a metal centre and a two‐dimensional hydrogen‐bonded network is formed through N—H…O interactions facilitated by C—H…O interactions, forming the graph‐set motifs R 22(8) and R 22(7).  相似文献

Two one‐dimensional (1D) coordination polymers (CPs), namely catena‐poly[[[aqua(2,2′‐bipyridine‐κ2N,N′)(nitrato‐κO)copper(II)]‐μ‐1,3‐bis(pyridin‐4‐yl)propane‐κ2N:N′] nitrate], {[Cu(NO3)(C10H8N2)(C13H14N2)(H2O)]·NO3}n ( 1 ), and catena‐poly[[[aqua(nitrato‐κO)(1,10‐phenanthroline‐κ2N,N′)copper(II)]‐μ‐1,3‐bis(pyridin‐4‐yl)propane‐κ2N:N′] nitrate], {[Cu(NO3)(C12H8N2)(C13H14N2)(H2O)]·NO3}n ( 2 ), have been synthesized using [Cu(NO3)(NN)(H2O)2]NO3, where NN = 2,2′‐bipyridine (bpy) or 1,10‐phenanthroline (phen), as a linker in a 1:1 molar ratio. The CPs were characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and single‐crystal X‐ray structure determination. The 1,3‐bis(pyridin‐4‐yl)propane (dpp) ligand acts as a bridging ligand, leading to the formation of a 1D polymer. The octahedral coordination sphere around copper consists of two N atoms from bpy for 1 or phen for 2 , two N atoms from dpp, one O atom from water and one O atom from a coordinated nitrate anion. Each structure contains two crystallographically independent chains in the asymmetric unit and the chains are linked via hydrogen bonds into a three‐dimensional network.  相似文献

A new three‐dimensional interpenetrated CdII–organic framework based on 3,3′‐azodibenzoic acid [3,3′‐(diazenediyl)dibenzoic acid, H2azdc] and the auxiliary flexible ligand 1,4‐bis(1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)butane (bimb), namely poly[[bis[μ2‐1,4‐bis(1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)butane‐κ2N3:N3′][μ2‐3,3′‐(diazenediyl)dibenzoato‐κ2O:O′]cadmium(II)] monohydrate], {[Cd(C14H8N2O4)(C10H14N2)2]·H2O}n, (1), was obtained by a typical solution reaction in mixed solvents (water and N,N′‐dimethylformamide). Each CdII centre is six‐coordinated by two O atoms of bis‐monodentate bridging carboxylate groups from two azdc2− ligands and by four N atoms from four bimb ligands, forming an octahedral coordination environment. The CdII ions are connected by the bimb ligands, resulting in two‐dimensional (4,4) layers, which are further pillared by the azdc2− ligands, affording a threefold interpenetrated three‐dimensional α‐Po topological framework with the Schläfli symbol 41263. The thermal stability and solid‐state fluorescence properties of (1) have been investigated.  相似文献

Dichloro(4,4′‐dipentyl‐2,2′‐bipyridine‐κ2N,N′)platinum(II), [PtCl2(C20H28N2)], adopts a discrete π–π stacking structure, where the alkyl chains are located in a random manner. In contrast, dichloro(4,4′‐diheptyl‐2,2′‐bipyridine‐κ2N,N′)platinum(II), [PtCl2(C24H36N2)], forms a layer structure comprised of alkyl chain layers and paired coordination sites, as observed for analogous complexes with longer alkyl chains.  相似文献

In recent years, coordination polymers constructed from multidentate carboxylate ligands and N‐containing ligands have attracted much attention since these ligands can adopt a rich variety of coordination modes which can lead to crystalline products with intriguing structures and interesting properties. A new coordination polymer, namely poly[[diaqua[μ‐2,7‐bis(1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)fluorene‐κ2N3:N3′][μ‐5,5′‐methylenebis(3‐carboxy‐2,4,6‐trimethylbenzoato)‐κ2O1:O1′]zinc(II)] hemihydrate], {[Zn(C23H22O8)(C19H14N4)(H2O)2]·0.5H2O}n, 1 , was prepared by the self‐assembly of Zn(NO3)2·6H2O with 5,5′‐methylenebis(2,4,6‐trimethylisophthalic acid) (H4BTMIPA) and 2,7‐bis(1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)fluorene (BIF) under solvothermal conditions. The structure of 1 was determined by elemental analysis, single‐crystal X‐ray crystallography, powder X‐ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis. Each ZnII ion is six‐coordinated by two O atoms from two H2BTMIPA2? ligands, by two N atoms from two BIF ligands and by two water molecules, forming a distorted octahedral ZnN2O4 coordination geometry. Adjacent ZnII ions are linked by H2BTMIPA2? ligands and BIF ligands, leading to the formation of a two‐dimensional (2D) (4,4)‐ sql network, and intermolecular hydrogen‐bonding interactions connect the 2D layer structure into the three‐dimensional (3D) supramolecular structure. Each 2D layer contains two kinds of helices with the same direction, which are opposite in adjacent layers. The luminescence properties of complex 1 in the solid state have also been investigated.  相似文献

Many factors, such as temperature, solvent, the central metal atom and the type of coligands, may affect the nature of metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) and the framework formation in the self‐assembly process, which results in the complexity of these compounds and the uncertainty of their structures. Two new isomeric ZnII metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) based on mixed ligands, namely, poly[[μ‐1,5‐bis(2‐methyl‐1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)pentane‐κ2N 3:N 3′](μ‐5‐methylisophthalato‐κ2O 1:O 3)zinc(II)], [Zn(C9H6O4)(C13H20N4)]n , (I), and poly[[μ‐1,5‐bis(2‐methyl‐1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)pentane‐κ2N 3:N 3′](μ3‐5‐methylisophthalato‐κ3O 1:O 1′:O 3)(μ3‐5‐methylisophthalato‐κ4O 1:O 1′:O 3,O 3′)dizinc(II)], [Zn2(C9H6O4)2(C13H20N4)]n , (II), have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and thermogravimetric analysis. Complex (I) displays a two‐dimensional layer net, while complex (II) exhibits a twofold interpenetrating three‐dimensional framework. Both complexes show high stability and good fluorescence in the solid state at room temperature.  相似文献

Crystal structures are reported for four (2,2′‐bipyridyl)(ferrocenyl)boronium derivatives, namely (2,2′‐bipyridyl)(ethenyl)(ferrocenyl)boronium hexafluoridophosphate, [Fe(C5H5)(C17H15BN2)]PF6, (Ib), (2,2′‐bipyridyl)(tert‐butylamino)(ferrocenyl)boronium bromide, [Fe(C5H5)(C19H22BN3)]Br, (IIa), (2,2′‐bipyridyl)(ferrocenyl)(4‐methoxyphenylamino)boronium hexafluoridophosphate acetonitrile hemisolvate, [Fe(C5H5)(C22H20BN3O)]PF6·0.5CH3CN, (IIIb), and 1,1′‐bis[(2,2′‐bipyridyl)(cyanomethyl)boronium]ferrocene bis(hexafluoridophosphate), [Fe(C17H14BN3)2](PF6)2, (IVb). The asymmetric unit of (IIIb) contains two independent cations with very similar conformations. The B atom has a distorted tetrahedral coordination in all four structures. The cyclopentadienyl rings of (Ib), (IIa) and (IIIb) are approximately eclipsed, while a bisecting conformation is found for (IVb). The N—H groups of (IIa) and (IIIb) are shielded by the ferrocenyl and tert‐butyl or phenyl groups and are therefore not involved in hydrogen bonding. The B—N(amine) bond lengths are shortened by delocalization of π‐electrons. In the cations with an amine substituent at boron, the B—N(bipyridyl) bonds are 0.035 (3) Å longer than in the cations with a methylene C atom bonded to boron. A similar lengthening of the B—N(bipyridyl) bonds is found in a survey of related cations with an oxy group attached to the B atom.  相似文献

3,4‐Dimethoxy‐trans‐cinnamic acid (Dmca) reacts with zinc sulfate in the presence of 4‐(1H‐pyrazol‐3‐yl)pyridine (L1) or 4,4′‐bipyridine (L2) under hydrothermal conditions to afford two mixed‐ligand coordination complexes, namely tetrakis(μ‐3,4‐dimethoxy‐trans‐cinnamato‐κ2O:O′)bis[[4‐(1H‐pyrazol‐3‐yl)pyridine]zinc(II)] heptahydrate, [Zn2(C11H11O4)4(C8H7N3)2]·7H2O or [Zn2(Dmca)4(L1)2]·7H2O, (I), and catena‐poly[[bis(3,4‐dimethoxy‐trans‐cinnamato‐κO)zinc(II)]‐μ‐4,4′‐bipyridine‐κ2N:N′], [Zn(C11H11O4)2(C10H8N2)]n or [Zn(Dmca)2(L2)]n, (II). The ZnII centres in the two compounds display different coordination polyhedra. In complex (I), the ZnII cation is five‐coordinated with a pseudo‐square‐pyramidal geometry, while in complex (II) the ZnII cation sits on a twofold axis and adopts a distorted tetrahedral coordination environment. Complex (I) features a centrosymmetric binuclear paddle‐wheel‐like structure, while complex (II) shows a chain structure. This study emphasizes the significant effect of the coordination mode of both carboxylate‐group and N‐donor coligands on the formation of complex structures.  相似文献

The synthesis, structure, and solution‐state behavior of clothespin‐shaped binuclear trans‐bis(β‐iminoaryloxy)palladium(II) complexes doubly linked with pentamethylene spacers are described. Achiral syn and racemic anti isomers of complexes 1 – 3 were prepared by treating Pd(OAc)2 with the corresponding N,N′‐bis(β‐hydroxyarylmethylene)‐1,5‐pentanediamine and then subjecting the mixture to chromatographic separation. Optically pure (100 % ee) complexes, (+)‐anti‐ 1 , (+)‐anti‐ 2 , and (+)‐anti‐ 3 , were obtained from the racemic mixture by employing a preparative HPLC system with a chiral column. The trans coordination and clothespin‐shaped structures with syn and anti conformations of these complexes have been unequivocally established by X‐ray diffraction studies. 1H NMR analysis showed that (±)‐anti‐ 1 , (±)‐anti‐ 2 , syn‐ 2 , and (±)‐anti‐ 3 display a flapping motion by consecutive stacking association/dissociation between cofacial coordination planes in [D8]toluene, whereas syn‐ 1 and syn‐ 3 are static under the same conditions. The activation parameters for the flapping motion (ΔH and ΔS) were determined from variable‐temperature NMR analyses as 50.4 kJ mol?1 and 60.1 J mol?1 K?1 for (±)‐anti‐ 1 , 31.0 kJ mol?1 and ?22.7 J mol?1 K?1 for (±)‐anti‐ 2 , 29.6 kJ mol?1 and ?57.7 J mol?1 K?1 for syn‐ 2 , and 35.0 kJ mol?1 and 0.5 J mol?1 K?1 for (±)‐anti‐ 3 , respectively. The molecular structure and kinetic parameters demonstrate that all of the anti complexes flap with a twisting motion in [D8]toluene, although (±)‐anti‐ 1 bearing dilated Z‐shaped blades moves more dynamically than I‐shaped (±)‐anti‐ 2 or the smaller (±)‐anti‐ 3 . Highly symmetrical syn‐ 2 displays a much more static flapping motion, that is, in a see‐saw‐like manner. In CDCl3, (±)‐anti‐ 1 exhibits an extraordinary upfield shift of the 1H NMR signals with increasing concentration, whereas solutions of (+)‐anti‐ 1 and the other syn/anti analogues 2 and 3 exhibit negligible or slight changes in the chemical shifts under the same conditions, which indicates that anti‐ 1 undergoes a specific heterochiral association in the solution state. Equilibrium constants for the dimerizations of (±)‐ and (+)‐anti‐ 1 in CDCl3 at 293 K were estimated by curve‐fitting analysis of the 1H NMR chemical shift dependences on concentration as 26 M ?1 [KD(racemic)] and 3.2 M ?1 [KD(homo)], respectively. The heterochiral association constant [KD(hetero)] was estimated as 98 M ?1, based on the relationship KD(racemic)=1/2 KD(homo)+1/4 KD(hetero). An inward stacking motif of interpenetrative dimer association is postulated as the mechanistic rationale for this rare case of heterochiral association.  相似文献

Multidentate N‐heterocyclic compounds form a variety of metal complexes with many intriguing structures and interesting properties. The title coordination polymer, catena‐poly[zinc(II)‐bis{μ‐2‐[(1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)methyl]‐1H‐benzimidazole}‐κ2N3:N3′;N3′:N3‐zinc(II)‐bis(μ‐benzene‐1,2‐dicarboxylato)‐κ2O1:O23O1,O1′:O2], [Zn2(C8H4O4)2(C11H10N4)2]n, has been synthesized by the reaction of Zn(NO3)2 with 2‐[(1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)methyl]‐1H‐benzimidazole (imb) and benzene‐1,2‐dicarboxylic acid (H2bdic) under hydrothermal conditions. There are two crystallographically distinct imb ligands [imb(A) and imb(B)] in the structure which adopt very similar coordination geometries. The imb(A) ligand bridges two symmetry‐related Zn1 ions, yielding a binuclear [(Zn1)2{imb(A)}2] unit, and the imb(B) ligand bridges two symmetry‐related Zn2 ions resulting in a binuclear [(Zn2)2{imb(B)}2] unit. The above‐mentioned binuclear units are further connected alternately by pairs of bridging bdic2− ligands, forming an infinite one‐dimensional chain. These one‐dimensional chains are further connected through N—H...O hydrogen bonds, leading to a two‐dimensional layered structure. In addition, the title polymer exhibits good fluorescence properties in the solid state at room temperature.  相似文献

The judicious selection of suitable ligands is vitally important in the construction of novel metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) with fascinating structures and interesting properties. Recently, imidazole‐containing multidentate ligands have received much attention. Two new CdII coordination frameworks, namely, poly[tris{μ‐1,4‐bis[(1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)methyl]benzene‐κ2N3:N3′}tetrakis(nitrato‐κ2O,O′)dicadmium], [Cd2(NO3)4(C14H14N4)3]n, (I), and poly[[bis{μ3‐1,3,5‐tris[(1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)methyl]benzene‐κ3N3:N3′:N3′′}cadmium] hexafluorosilicate], {[Cd(C18H18N6)2](SiF6)}n, (II), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. In polymer (I), the 1,4‐bis[(1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)methyl]benzene ligand bridges Cd2+ ions with a distorted seven‐coordinated pentagonal bipyramidal geometry, forming a one‐dimensional ladder chain, and the nitrate anions coordinate to the Cd2+ ions in a terminal bidentate fashion. In the crystal, adjacent chains are further connected by C—H…O hydrogen bonds to generate a two‐dimensional (2D) supramolecular structure. Polymer (II) exhibits a 2D layered structure in which 1,3,5‐tris[(1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)methyl] benzene ligands join Cd2+ centres having a six‐coordinated octahedral structure. The layers are connected by hexafluorosilicate anions via C—H…F hydrogen‐bond interactions, giving rise to a three‐dimensional supramolecular network structure in the solid state. In addition, powder X‐ray diffraction (PXRD) patterns were recorded, thermogravimetric analyses (TGA) carried out and fluorescence properties investigated.  相似文献
