The high resolution (3He,α) reaction on206Pb shows the distribution of the 2f 7/2, 1h 9/2 and 1i 1 3/2 neutron states of205Pb within the 6 MeV excitation energy of205Pb. The spectrum of these three-hole states is obtained within the hole-core vibrational coupling scheme. The shell model energies of the neutron hole states arising from the core-polarization effect are compared with the Bansal-French energy weighted sum rule. The possible implication of the present neutron hole energies has been discussed in the light of the deduced shell model wave functions of the collective states of206Pb.  相似文献

An experimental investigation of the complex γ-decay of202Pb following the β-decay of202Bi is presented. Gamma-ray energies and intensities, conversion coefficients and γ – γ-coincidences were measured using mass separated sources. The results supplement and refine previous studies. In particular the measurements of gamma-ray energies aimed at an accuracy as high as possible in order to get reliable energy relations for the ordering of the γ-transitions in a level scheme. More than 200 γ-transitions were observed. New excited levels of202Pb are proposed at 2185.0, 2235.4, 2324.9, 2360.4, 2517.3, 2916.5, 3682.2, and 3723.5 keV above the ground state. The spin value I=4 for the 1915.1 keV level of202Pb is confirmed and to the 2289.2 keV level the spin parity assignment (6)? is given.  相似文献

Theα decay of the new isotope180Pb was observed in40Ca bombardments of144Sm:E α = 7.23(4)MeV, and,T 1/2=(4 ?2 +4 )ms. With this decay energy and the known mass of176Hg, the mass excess of180Pb was calculated to be ?1.98(5)MeV.  相似文献

The static electric quadrupole interaction of140Ce and204Pb has been studied in polycrystalline PbTiO3 at the lead site with the time-differential perturbed angular correlation (TDPAC) method. The interaction frequencies areω Q(2083 keV;140Ce)=2.11 (17) MHz andω Q(1274keV;204Pb)=3.60(3) MHz. The results are compared with the electric field gradient calculated in a point charge model. Under the assumption that the covalent contributions for Ce and Pb are equal, one can derive the quadrupole moment of the 1274 keV state of204Pb to be ¦Q¦=0.68 b.  相似文献

The neutron strength distributions of the three high-spin 1k 17/2, 2h 11/2 and 1j13/2 states of209Pb have been obtained within the formalism of the core-polarisation effect where the effect of interaction of the neutron shell-model states of209Pb with the collective vibrational states (originating also from the giant resonances) have been taken into consideration. The theoretical results have been discussed in the light of works on 1k 17/2, 2h111/2 and 1j13/2 neutron orbitals of209Pb. The weak fragments of the 3p1/2, 3p3/2, 2f5/2, 2f7/2 and 1i13/2 proton states of209Bi as seen in the208Pb (3He,d) reaction can be explained with the coupling of the renormalised proton states and the vibrational states of208Pb. The energies of the zerothorder proton shell-model states as well as the collective admixtures of the weak fragmented proton states of209Bi have been deduced from the core-particle coupling model.  相似文献

Alpha recoil sources of221Rn were used to study the level structure of217Po and the ground state of213Pb. The half-life of217Po was measured to be (1.6±0.2) s. When combined with unpublished data, an alpha-decay hindrance factor (HF) of 1.3 was obtained for the alpha-decay, strongly suggesting a g9/2 → g9/2 transition between217Po and213Pb ground states. Alpha-gamma coincidence studies confirm the previously observed 11/2+ band head in217Po. It is suggested that an unobserved 9/2+ ground state lies below the 11/2+ state in217Po and an attempt is made to observe connecting links between these two parts of the217Po level scheme.  相似文献

The distribution of the discrete 1h 9/2, 2f 7/2, 1i 13/2 and 2f 5/2 proton states of209Bi and 2g 9/2, 1i 11/2, 1j 15/2 and 2g7/2 neutron states of209Pb have been obtained within the particle-vibration coupling model calculation and compared with the experimental datas baising on the most recent high resolution stripping reaction on208Pb using 480 MeV12C projectile. The optimised shell model energies arising from the core-polarisation effect have profound influence for both the study of the structures of the high spin continuum shell model states of208Pb and stability of superheavy nuclei.  相似文献

The dissociation of6Li in the field of208Pb has been measured above the Coulomb barrier along with the elastic scattering. The inelastic angular distributions showing typical Coulomb nuclear interference structure can be very well reproduced by refined optical model calculations.  相似文献

Sources of187Pb were produced by the142Nd(48Ti, 3n)187Pb reaction followed by online mass separation of the products. Measurements ofγ-γ andα-γ coincidences and half-lives were performed. Twoα-emitting states in187Pb were found with half-lives of 15.2±0.3 s and 18.3±0.3 s, respectively. Theα-γ coincidences yielded excitation energy and possible spin values for a few levels in183Hg. Gamma-transitions in187Tl were identified and a level scheme for187Tl is proposed on the basis of the coincidence relationships and the level systematics of the heavier odd-thallium isotopes.  相似文献

Theα decay of mass-separated188Pb and180,182Hg has been studied at the GSI on-line mass separator. Alpha singles spectra as well asα-X-t andα-e-t coincidence events were collected. Fine structure in theα decay of188Pb was measured for the first time, feeding the 21 + and 02 + states in184Hg. Theα decay of180,182Hg feeds low-lying states in176?178Pt. One of these states could be identified as a 0+ state. The deexcitation pattern could be established. As a by-product an alpha-decay scheme of180Au towards levels in176Ir is given.  相似文献

Charged and neutral kaon production in S-nucleus and Pb-Pb collisions has been measured at CERN in the NA35 and NA49 experiments, close to mid-rapidity. The production ofK ± in S+S, Ag, Au at 200 GeV/nucleon was measured via their one-prong (kink) topology inside a Time Projection Chamber (TPC). The resulting charged kaon yields are in agreement with other measurements done in the same experiment. TheK +/K ? ratio was found to be 1.30±0.15 in central S+Au interactions. The production ofK S 0 in Pb+Pb collisions was measured using the NA49’s large (Main) TPCs outside the magnetic field. The resulting yields are compatible with other measurements performed in the same experiment, within the quoted systematic errors. The preliminary rapidity distribution in Pb+Pb scales with the number of participants if compared to S+S collisions. From this we conclude that no further strangeness enhancement (relative to nucleon-nucleon collisions) is observed in going from S+S to Pb+Pb.  相似文献

An iron-free intermediate-imageβ-ray spectrometer was used to investigate theβ-decay of208T1 in coincidence with the 2.615 MeVγ-ray of208Pb. Fourβ-groups were found, three of which were previously known. The fourth group has an endpoint energy of 0.64±0.03 MeV and an intensity of (4.5±1.5)%. It is supposed that this transition is still complex and feeds a group of levels around the known 4.3 MeV level of208Pb. Noβ-ray of maximum energy 1.032 MeV to the 3.961 MeV level could be found.  相似文献

The fragmentations of the 3s 1/2, 2d 3/2, 2d 5/2 and 1.h 11/2 proton states were deduced using the hole-core coupling model calculation and compared with recent206Pb ( \(\vec d\) ,3He) reaction data. The energies of the proton fragments carrying the main shell-model strengths were used to deduce the radial wave functions of205T1 and207Tl that give rise to charge distributions of these nuclei. From their respective charge distributions, root mean square radii of206Pb and208Pb were extracted.  相似文献

Three-particle correlations in the reaction208Pb+6Li were studied near the Coulomb threshold between \(E_{6_{Li} } = 24\) and 30 MeV. Three reaction mechanisms contribute predominantly to the observed coincidences of the charged particles: 1. Coulomb excitation of the 2.184 MeV,J=3+ state of6Li, followed by the decay intoα+d, 2. Deuteron pick-up of the6Li to the ground state of8Be and sequential decay into twoα-particles and 3. Neutron-transfer to the ground state and the first excited states of209Pb:208Pb(6Li,αp). The last two reaction mechanisms explain the previously measured large contributions to theα-channel relative to thed-channel.  相似文献

Two semiconductor detectors with known efficiencies were employed to measure simultaneously the intensities of the γ-rays and the conversion electrons which are emitted by a mixture of204Bi and204m Pb in radioactive equilibrium and by pure204m Pb. Conversion coefficients, conversion ratios and also the relative intensities of many transitions in204Pb were obtained. Informations about transition multipolarities are deduced. Some conversion coefficients and conversion ratios which are measured with good precision are used to check theoretical values.  相似文献

We report on new results for the decay of the superdeformed (SD) band in194Pb. No transitions linking the SD structure with the known level scheme of194Pb could be found, but the feeding intensities into the normal-deformed states are determined and limits on the one-step decay of the SD band are given.  相似文献

The longitudinal momentum distribution of7Be was measured after the break-up reaction of8B in C, Al, and Pb targets at 1471 A·MeV. We observed a narrow distribution with a FWHM of (81±6) MeV/c in all targets. The experimental results indicate an extended spatial distribution of the loosely bound proton in8B, and agree with QRPA calculations.  相似文献
