We report the results of Monte Carlo simulation of the phase diagram and oxygen ordering in YBa2Cu3O6+x for low intra-sublattice repulsion. At low temperatures, apart from tetragonal (T), orthorhombic (OI) and ‘double cell’ ortho II phases, there is evidence for two additional orthorhombic phases labelled here asOI andOIII. At high temperatures, there was no evidence for the decomposition of theOI phase into theT andOI phases. We find qualitative agreement with experimental observations and cluster-variation method results.  相似文献

The beauty-conserving strangeness-changing decays ofB s meson are examined. In the charm sector, charm-conserving strangeness changing (Δc = 0, Δs ≠ 0) decays are Cabibbo suppressed and are governed by the CKM elementV us which is much smaller than the CKM diagonal elementV cs, so may be of little interest. On the other hand, in theb-sector, beauty-conserving strangeness changing (Δb = 0, Δs ≠ 0) decays are CKM allowed as the CKM matrix elementV us governing such decays is much larger thanV bc orV bu which govern respectively thebc orbu transitions. The phase space available, however, is too small for the decays considered here. The numerical estimates for the decay widths of two such modes ofB s meson are presented.  相似文献

We have performed extensive small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) diffraction studies of the vortex lattice in single crystal YNi2B2C for B‖c. High-resolution SANS, combined with a field-oscillation vortex lattice preparation technique, allows us to separate Bragg scattered intensities from two orthogonal domains and accurately determine the unit cell angle, β. The data suggest that upon increasing field there is a finite transition width where both low- and high-field distorted hexagonal vortex lattice phases, mutually rotated by 45°, coexist. The smooth variation of diffracted intensity from each phase through the transition corresponds to a redistribution of populations between the two types of domains.  相似文献

Abstract

High-pressure neutron diffraction experiments have been performed at room temperature on a powdered sample of the perovskite type-layer compound (CD3ND3)2MnCl4. A phase transition from the orthorhombic room-temperature phase (ORT) to a new high-pressure phase (HP) is demonstrated at 20.5 ± 0.2 kbars. A monoclinic unit cell with lattice parameters a = 6.824 (5) Å; b = 7.409 (8) Å c = 17.126 (12) Å and β = 82.94(9)° has been inferred for the HP phase, consistent with a two-dimensional perovskite-type structure. The HP phase appears to be much more compact than ORT; it is characterized, in particular, by an important compression (?10%) of the inter-layer distance. Space groups P2/c or P21/c consistent with the experimental data have been deduced for the HP phase, after group theoretical considerations based on shear transformation and order-disorder mechanisms.  相似文献

Hydrostatic pressure has negligible effect on the resistivity anomaly and thec H /a H ratio of Ti2O3. The results are consistent with the band-crossing mechanism wherein the a T and e T bands cross as thec H /a H ratio increases.  相似文献

BaWO4-II has been synthesized at 5 GPa and 610°C. Its high pressure behavior was studied by in situ synchrotron X-ray diffraction measurements at room temperature up to 17 GPa. BaWO4-II retains its monoclinic structure. Bulk and axial moduli determined by fitting a third-order Birch–Murnaghan equation of state to lattice parameters are: K 0=86.2±1.9 GPa, K 0(a)=56.0±0.9 GPa, K 0(b)=85.3±2.4 GPa, and K 0(c)=146.1±3.2 GPa with a fixed K′=4. Analysis of axial compressible modulus shows that the a-axis is 2.61 times more compressible than the c-axis and 1.71 times more compressible than the b-axis. The beta angle decreases smoothly between room pressure and 17 GPa from 93.78° to 90.90°.  相似文献

Detailed measurements of magnetization and ac susceptibility at low temperatures of 1% Zr-substituted Y9Co7 are presented. All results are indicative of itinerant weak ferromagnetism withT c ∼ 9.5 K. The zero-field magnetizations followT 2 orT 4/3 behaviour as in the Ni-substituted system. The estimated critical exponents areβ=0.38±0.03,γ=1.16±0.05. It is argued that the main effect of the non-magnetic Zr-substitution in Y9Co7 is to stabilize the ferromagnetic ordering by suppressing the ‘hopping’ of Co atoms along thec-axis sites of the hexagonal structure.  相似文献

X-ray scattering techniques have been used to study the diffuse scattering from a single crystal of Rb1–x(ND4)xD2PO4 withx=0.65. This system has a structural glass phase at low temperatures resulting from the competing ferroelectric interactions of RbD2PO4 and antiferroelectric interactions of (ND4)D2PO4. The diffuse scattering shows a broad peak with a maximum occurring at a wavevector of about 0.3a *, and the intensity of these peaks is surprisingly different for wavevectorsq on opposite sides of the Bragg reflections. A model of the D bonding is developed which suggests that the diffuse scattering arises from the interaction between ferroelectric displacements alongc, ferroelectric displacements alongb, and transverse acoustic modes polarized alongb andc. The model accounts for the incommensurate wavevector and, qualitatively, for the intensity of the diffuse scattering around different Bragg reflections. The temperature dependence of the scattering is also measured.  相似文献

The phonon dispersion curves, phonon frequency distribution function as well as the lattice specific heat of body-centred tetragonal indium have been deduced using a lattice dynamical model which includes central, angular and volume forces. Six elastic constants, four zone boundary frequencies and an equilibrium condition were used in the evaluation of the force constants. It is shown that this model is elastically consistent and satisfies the symmetry requirements of the lattice, the phonon frequencies of indium deduced from it are in very good agreement with the experimental values of Reichardt and Smith and the theoretical values of Garrett and Swihart, and theθ D values compare well with the experimental values over a wide temperature range. The apparent discrepancies in the phonon dispersion curves and theθ D-T curves obtained from deficient models, importance of umklapp processes and the significance of angular forces in the lattice dynamical models are discussed.  相似文献

High-resolution spectra of the 0–9, 0–10 and 0–11 bands of theA 2II u X 2II g system of (16O18O)+ ion have been studied for their rotational structure. This study enables a direct determination of the Λ-doubling parameters of theA 2II u andX 2II g states. The model of ‘pure precession’ explains, though not entirely, the Λ-doubling of theX 2II a state as arising out of its interaction with theB 2 Σ g state. The Λ-doubling in theA 2II u state was found insignificant.  相似文献

The vapor grown SbSBrxI1−x (x=0.1; 0.5; 0.9) crystals with clear mirror surfaces have been used for infrared reflection measurements with Fourier spectrometer. The vibration frequencies along c(z)-axis have been derived from Kramers–Kroning and optical parameters fitting analysis of the experimental reflectivity spectra at T=300 K. The theoretical vibration spectra of SbSBrxS1−x (x=0.1; 0.5; 0.9) crystals in paraelectric phase (T=300 K) along c(z)-axis have been determined in quasiharmonic approximation by diagonalization of dynamical matrix. The theoretical vibration spectra of these crystals in ab(xy) plane have been determined in harmonic approximation. In this work we discuss the nature of anharmonism in SbSBrxI1−x crystals along the c(z)-axis.  相似文献

The Raman spectra of the single crystal of K2Zn(SO4)2·6H2O belonging toC 2h 5 space group in the 40–1200 cm−1 region in different scattering geometries and their spectra ofthe microcrystalline salt in the 1500-50 cm−1 region have been reported. The dynamics of the crystal has been described in terms of 186 phonon modes under the unit cell approximation. The weak bands in the region 400–900 cm−1 have been assigned to the libratory modes of H2O molecules in contradiction to the assignments reported by Ananthanarayanan. The ambiguities existing in the literature about the assignments ofν 2 c andν 5 c modes of [Zn(H2O)6]2+ have also been removed. The translatory and libratory modes of different units of the crystal have been identified and assignments are made using farir and Raman data on various isomorphous tutton salts. It has been inferred that both SO 4 2− tetrahedron and [Zn(H2O)6]2+ octahedron undergo linear as well as angular distortions from their free state symmetries in the crystal.  相似文献

Zr and Ti have been substituted in the system Y1−x M x Ba2Cu3O7−δ(M=Zr, Ti,x=0.05,0.1). We find that theT c value is unchanged, ∼90K for Zr substitutions up to 10% and in the case of Ti substitutions theT c drops significantly. These changes may arise from their site preference.  相似文献

Since 1997 we systematically perform direct angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) on in-situ grown thin (<30 nm) cuprate films. Specifically, we probe low-energy electronic structure and properties of high-T c superconductors (HTSC) under different degrees of epitaxial (compressive vs. tensile) strain. In overdoped and underdoped in-plane compressed (the strain is induced by the choice of substrate) ≈15 nm thin La2 − x Sr x CuO4 (LSCO) films we almost double T c to 40 K, from 20 K and 24 K, respectively. Yet the Fermi surface (FS) remains essentially two-dimensional. In contrast, ARPES data under tensile strain exhibit the dispersion that is three-dimensional, yet T c drastically decreases. It seems that the in-plane compressive strain tends to push the apical oxygen far away from the CuO2 plane, enhances the two-dimensional character of the dispersion and increases T c, while the tensile strain acts in the opposite direction and the resulting dispersion is three-dimensional. We have established the shape of the FS for both cases, and all our data are consistent with other ongoing studies, like EXAFS. As the actual lattice of cuprates is like a ‘Napoleon-cake’, i.e. rigid CuO2 planes alternating with softer ‘reservoir’, that distort differently under strain, our data rule out all oversimplified two-dimensional (rigid lattice) mean field models. The work is still in progress on optimized La-doped Bi-2201 films with enhanced T c.   相似文献

Final state interaction effects inpp→ pΛK + andpd3Heη reactions are explored near threshold to study the sensitivity of the cross-sections to thepΛ potential and theηN scattering matrix. The final state scattering wave functions between Λ andp andη and3He are described rigorously. The Λ production is described by the exchange of one pion and aK-meson between two protons in the incident channel. We have performed a series of neutron diffraction experiments from the magnetic order and the vortex lattice in single crystal ErNi2B2C. The incommensurate magnetic structure develops additional even harmonics below the ‘ferromagnetic’ ordering temperature, T F of 2.3 K. This feature and the existence of rods of diffuse scattering suggest the development of ferromagnetic microdomain walls. The magnetic structure is very sensitive to the application of a magnetic field with changes in modulation vector and harmonic content. Studies of the vortex lattice show the presence of a 45° reorientation transition and a distorted hexagonal to square transition as a function of applied field. Further distortions of the vortex lattice occur at T N, but no changes are seen at T F.  相似文献

We compare the results of small angle neutron scattering on the flux line lattice (FLL) obtained in the borocarbide superconductor LuNi2B2C with the applied field along the c- and a-axes. For H‖c the temperature dependence of the FLL structural phase transition from square to hexagonal symmetry was investigated. Above 10 K the transition onset field. H 2(T), rises sharply, bending away from H c2(T) in contradiction to theoretical predictions of the two merging. For H‖a a first order FLL reorientation transition is observed at H tr=3–3.5 kOe. Below H tr the FLL nearest neighbor direction is parallel to the b-axis, and above H tr to the c-axis. This transition cannot be explained using nonlocal corrections to the London model.  相似文献

We report detailed study of non-magnetic impurity effects in a two-gap superconductor Lu2Fe3Si5 by replacing Lu with Sc. We find that the superconducting transition temperature Tc is drastically suppressed by slight substitution of Sc, while lattice constants change linearly with the substitution. These results strongly indicate that a slight substitution of Sc increases the inter-band scattering and causes averaging the amplitude of two gaps, which leads to the drastic suppression of Tc.  相似文献

结合机械合金化与放电等离子烧结工艺制备了Ni和Se共掺的细晶方钴矿化合物Co1-xNixSb3-ySey,研究了晶界和点缺陷的耦合散射效应对CoSb3热电输运特性的影响.通过Ni掺杂优化载流子浓度提高功率因子.在x=0.1时,功率因子达到最大值1750μWm-1K-2(450℃),是没有掺Ni试样的两倍.晶界和点缺陷的耦合散射机理使晶格热导率急剧下降,其中Co0.9Ni0.1Sb2.85Se0.15的室温晶格热导率降低至1.67Wm-1K-1,接近目前单填充效应所能达到的最低值1.6Wm-1K-1,其热电优值ZT在450℃时达到最大值0.53.将Callaway-Von Baeyer点缺陷散射模型嵌入到Nan-Birringer有效介质理论模型,对晶界散射和点缺陷散射的耦合效应对热导率的影响进行了定量分析,模型计算与实验结果符合.理论模型计算表明,当晶粒尺寸下降到50nm同时掺杂引入点缺陷散射后,Co0.9Ni0.1Sb2.85Se0.15的晶格热导率下降到0.8Wm-1K-1. 关键词: 3')" href="#">CoSb3 Ni和Se掺杂 热电性能 耦合散射效应  相似文献

The crystal structure of [C(NH2)3]3Sb2Br9 was determined at 143 K: monoclinic, space group C2/c, Z = 4, a = 15.695 (3), b = 9.039(2), c = 18.364(3) Å, β = 96.94(1)°. The structure consists of two crystallographically independent guanidinium ions and two-dimensional corrugated sheets of (Sb2Br9 3?) n , in which SbBr6 octahedra are connected through three bridging Br atoms each other. One of the cations situates in a cavity of the (Sb2Br9 3?) n layer with statistical disorder, while the other situates between the layers without disorder. Three 81Br NQR resonance lines were assignable to terminal Br atoms, while only one line was found for two inequivalent bridging Br atoms. All the 81Br NQR resonance lines were subjected to fade-out at low temperatures. The temperature dependence curve of 1H NMR T 1 showed well defined two minima, which were explained by postulating the C3 reorientations of two types of cations with very different activation energies. The DTA (DSC) measurement revealed a phase transition of a first-order type at 444 K.  相似文献
