Naphtho[1,2‐b][1]benzothiophene‐6‐carboxylic acids, 6H‐benzo[b]naphtho[2,3‐d]thiopyran‐6‐ones and 6H‐benzo[b]naphtho[2,3‐d]pyran‐6‐ones were synthesized in one step by the photocyclization reaction of 3‐aryl‐2‐([1]benzothien‐3‐yl)propenoic acids. The photocyclization reaction did not occur when the 3‐aryl group contained the electron‐withdrawing nitro group. The assignment of the 1H and 13C nmr spectra of 6H‐benzo[b]naphtho[2,3‐d]thiopyran‐6‐one and 6H‐benzo[b]naphtho[2,3‐d]pyran‐6‐one by two‐dimensional nmr methods is described. The difference between the chemical shift values of H12 for these two compounds is attributed to different molecular geometries.  相似文献

Oxidative [3+3] cycloadditions offer an efficient route for six‐membered‐ring formation. This approach has been realized based on an electrochemical oxidative coupling of indoles/enamines with active methylene compounds followed by tandem 6π‐electrocyclization leading to the synthesis of dihydropyrano[4,3‐b]indoles and 2,3‐dihydrofurans. The radical–radical cross‐coupling of the radical species generated by anodic oxidation combined with the cathodic generation of the base from O2 allows for mild reaction conditions for the synthesis of structurally complex heterocycles.  相似文献

Herein, we designed chiral photoresponsive tetra(2‐phenylthiazole)s, which induce a diastereoselective 6π‐electrocyclization reaction in a helically folded structure to freeze the conformational interconversions. The folding conformation with one helical turn of tetra(2‐phenylthiazole)s was supported by multiple intramolecular noncovalent interactions including vicinal S???N interheteroatom interactions and CH–π and π–π stacking interactions between nonadjacent units, as found in X‐ray crystal structures as well as quantum chemical calculations. The introduction of a chiral group at both ends of tetra(2‐phenylthiazole) dictates the preferential folding into a one‐handed helix conformation by the simultaneous operation of S???O and multiple CH–π interactions that involve the chiral end groups. Since the tetra(2‐phenylthiazole)s possess two equivalent photoreactive 6π‐electron systems and the folded conformation is suitable for photoinduced electrocyclization reaction, they undergo a photocyclization reaction in a stereoselective manner to memorize the chirality of the helix in a resulting diastereomeric closed form.  相似文献

32π‐antiaromatic expanded isophlorins with a varying number of thiophene and furan rings adopt either planar, ring‐inverted, or twisted conformations depending on the number of furan rings in the macrocycle. However, they exhibit identical reactivity with respect to their oxidation to aromatic 30π‐dicationic species under acidic conditions. These 32π‐antiaromatic macrocycles can also be oxidized with [Et3O+SbCl6?]and NOBF4 to generate dications, thus confirming ring oxidation of macrocycles. Furthermore, they can be reduced back to their parent 32π‐antiaromatic state by triethylamine, Zn, or FeCl2. Single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis confirmed a figure‐eight conformation for a hexafuran system, which opens to a planar structure upon oxidation.  相似文献

It has been shown recently, that the presence of alkyl side chains at the 3‐positions on the thiophene rings placed next to 2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole core in the backbone of several conjugated polymers results in severe steric hindrance and prevents efficient planarity of the thiophene‐2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole‐thiophene (TBzT) segment. Both properties have a strong influence on the optoelectronic properties of the polymer and need to be considered when the polymer is to be used for organic electronics applications. In this work, we modified a previously synthesized oligothiophene copolymer, consisting of two 3,4′‐dialkyl‐2,2′‐bithiophene units attached to a 2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole unit (TBzT segment) and a thieno[3,2‐b]thiophene unit, by optimizing the lateral alkyl side chains following a density functional theory investigation. It is demonstrated that eliminating the alkyl side chains from the 3‐positions of the TBzT segment and anchoring them onto the thieno[3,2‐b]thiophene, using an efficient synthesis of the 3,6‐dihexylthieno[3,2‐b]thiophene unit, allows us to reduce the energy band gap. In addition, the chemical modification leads to a better charge transport and to an enhanced photovoltaic efficiency of polymer/fullerene blends. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this work, the time‐dependent density functional theory (TDDFT) method was carried out to investigate the hydrogen‐bonded intramolecular charge‐transfer excited state of 2‐(4′‐N,N‐dimethylaminophenyl)imidazo[4,5‐b]pyridine (DMAPIP) in methanol (MeOH) solvent. All the geometric conformations of the ground state and locally excited (LE) state and the twisted intramolecular charge‐transfer (TICT) state for isolated DMAPIP and its hydrogen‐bonded complexes have been optimized. At the same time, the absorption and fluorescence spectra of DMAPIP and the hydrogen‐bonded complexes in different electronic states are also calculated. We theoretically demonstrated for the first time that the intermolecular hydrogen bond formed between DMAPIP and MeOH can induce the formation of the TICT state for DMAPIP in MeOH solvent. Therefore, the two components at 414 and 506 nm observed in the fluorescence spectra of DMAPIP in MeOH solvent were reassigned in this work. The fluorescence peak at 414 nm is confirmed to be the LE state. Furthermore, the red‐shifted shoulder at 506 nm should be originated from the hydrogen‐bonded TICT excited state. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Comput Chem, 2010  相似文献

π‐Extended TCBD‐porphyrins that contained a 1,1,4,4‐tetracyanobuta‐1,3‐diene unit were prepared by a highly efficient [2+2] cycloaddition of tetracyanoethene (TCNE) or 7,7,8,8‐tetracyano‐p‐quinodimethane (TCNQ) with meso‐substituted trans‐A2B2‐porphyrins that contained two phenylethynyl groups, followed by a retro‐electrocyclization reaction. Depending on the electronic properties of the arylethynyl groups, the cycloaddition reaction took place exclusively on either one or two ethynyl moieties with high yield. The addition of TCNQ proceeded with complete regioselectivity. The resulting π‐expanded TCBD‐porphyrins had a hypsochromically shifted Soret band and showed unique, broad absorption in the visible region.  相似文献

Four novel nonsymmetrical photochromic diarylethene compounds containing dithieno[3,2‐b:2′,3′‐d]thiophene units were designed and synthesized to investigate their photochromic properties. All these molecules adopt a photoactive antiparallel conformation in single crystals, as revealed by X‐ray crystallographic analysis, and exhibit excellent photochromism in solution as well as in the crystalline phase.  相似文献

Oxidative photocyclization of 4‐(2‐arylvinyl)benzo[a]quinolizinium salts ( 6 ) gave five‐ or six‐mem‐bered rings depending on the aryl substituent. The olefins 6a and 6b with a phenyl or naphthyl substituent resulted in a normal six‐membered ring formation to afford 6a‐azoniapicene and 6a‐azoniabenzo[b]picene salts ( 7 and 8 ), respectively. In contrast, the photo‐reaction of pyridyl substituted derivative 6c resulted in novel five‐membered ring formation to yield 3b‐azonia‐5‐(2‐pyridyl)acephenanthrylene salt ( 10 ).  相似文献

A series of 2‐(1,3‐dioxolan‐2‐yl)phenylallenes that contained a range of substituents (alkyl, aryl, phosphinyl, alkoxycarbonyl, sulfonyl) at the cumulenic C3 position were prepared by using a diverse range of synthetic strategies and converted into their respective 1‐(2‐hydroxy)‐ethoxy‐2‐substituted naphthalenes by smooth thermal activation in toluene solution. Electron‐withdrawing groups at the C3 position accelerated these tandem processes, which consisted of 1) an initial hydride‐like [1,5]‐H shift of the acetalic H atom onto the central cumulene carbon atom; 2) a subsequent 6π‐electrocyclic ring‐closure of the resulting reactive ortho‐xylylenes; and 3) a final aromatization step with concomitant ring‐opening of the 1,3‐dioxolane fragment. If the 1,3‐dioxolane ring of the starting allenes was replaced by a dimethoxymethyl group, the reactions led to mixtures of two disubstituted naphthalenes, which were formed by the migration of either the acetalic H atom or the methoxy group, with the latter migration occurring to a lesser extent. Two of the final 1,2‐disubstituted naphthalenes were converted into their corresponding naphtho‐fused dioxaphosphepine or dioxepinone through an intramolecular transesterification reaction. A DFT computational study accounted for the beneficial influence of the 1,3‐dioxolane fragment on the carbon atom from which the H‐shift took place and also of the electron‐withdrawing substituents on the allene terminus. Remarkably, in the processes that contained a sulfonyl substituent, the conrotatory 6π‐electrocyclization step was of lower activation energy than the alternative disrotatory mode.  相似文献

An efficient and convenient synthesis of a new series of 2‐{(6H‐indolo[2,3‐b]quinoxalin‐6‐yl)methyl}‐5‐aryl‐1,3,4‐oxadiazoles from readily available 1,2‐diaminobenzene and isatins under microwave irradiation conditions was disclosed. The 6‐{(5‐aryl‐1,3,4‐oxadiazol‐2‐yl)methyl}‐6H‐indolo[2,3‐b]quinoxalines were also prepared by the thermal cyclo‐condensation reaction of 2‐(6H‐indolo[2,3‐b]quinoxalin‐6‐yl)acetohydrazides with carboxylic acids in refluxing POCl3. The microwave‐assisted synthesis was rapid and resulted in higher yield of the products at lower operating temperature with reduced waste generation in comparison with the thermal reaction protocol.  相似文献

A rapid and highly efficient 1,3‐dipolar [3 + 2] cycloaddition of nonstabilized azomethine ylides generated in situ with benzo[b]thiophene 1,1‐dioxides as the dipolarophiles has been developed. The efficient method affords tricyclic pyrrolidine‐fused benzo[b]thiophene 1,1‐dioxide derivatives in high to excellent yields (up to 99%) with excellent diastereoselectivities (up to >25:1 dr) under mild reaction conditions. The structure of a typical product was confirmed by X‐ray crystallography.  相似文献

A novel strategy to generate functionalized 1‐azatriene intermediates for 6π electrocyclizations was developed by using readily accessible dienyne‐imides and various terminal olefins under PdII catalysis. Taking advantage of the sequential cooperation between preloaded and incorporated functional handles at 1,3‐dien‐5‐yne skeletons, this method not only enables the selective generation of putative 1‐azatrienes but significantly accelerates their thermal 6π‐electrocyclic ring‐closure processes to a series of highly substituted furo[2,3‐b]dihydropyridine derivatives in good yields.  相似文献

A total number of 15 different 3,4‐diarylthiophenes were synthesized, which bear a chlorine atom in ortho‐position of one of the aryl substituents. One aryl group was introduced by an oxidative cross‐coupling reaction, involving a C?H activation at C4(3) of the thiophene core. The other aryl group was in most cases introduced by a Suzuki cross‐coupling reaction, which succeeded the oxidative cross‐coupling step. Photocyclization reactions of the 3,4‐diarylthiophenes were performed in a solvent mixture of benzene and acetonitrile (50:50 v/v) at λ=254 nm and proceeded to the title compounds in yields of 60–82 %. The selectivity of the photocyclization was determined at the ortho‐chloro‐substituted aryl ring by the position of the chlorine substituent. At the other ring, a single regioisomer was observed for phenyl and para‐substituted phenyl groups. For 2‐naphthyl and ortho‐substituted phenyl rings a clear preference was observed in favor of a major regioisomer, while meta‐substitution in the phenyl ring led to a about 1:1 mixture of 5‐ and 7‐substituted phenanthro[9,10‐c]thiophenes. Mechanistically, the photocyclization is likely to occur as a photochemically allowed, conrotatory [(4n+2)π] process accompanied by elimination of HCl. It was shown for two phenanthro[9,10‐c]thiophene products that they can be readily brominated in positions C1 and C3 (74–77 %), which in turn allows for further functionalization at these positions, for example, in the course of halogen–metal exchange and polymerization reactions.  相似文献

Shimalactones A and B are neuritogenic polyketides possessing characteristic oxabicyclo[2.2.1]heptane and bicyclo[4.2.0]octadiene ring systems that are produced by the marine fungus Emericella variecolor GF10. We identified a candidate biosynthetic gene cluster and conducted heterologous expression analysis. Expression of ShmA polyketide synthase in Aspergillus oryzae resulted in the production of preshimalactone. Aspergillus oryzae and Saccharomyces cerevisiae transformants expressing ShmA and ShmB produced shimalactones A and B, thus suggesting that the double bicyclo‐ring formation reactions proceed non‐enzymatically from preshimalactone epoxide. DFT calculations strongly support the idea that oxabicyclo‐ring formation and 8π‐6π electrocyclization proceed spontaneously after opening of the preshimalactone epoxide ring through protonation. We confirmed the formation of preshimalactone epoxide in vitro, followed by its non‐enzymatic conversion to shimalactones in the dark.  相似文献

Several new 6‐amino‐ and 6,8‐diamino‐4‐aryl‐2,3‐dihydropyrimido[4,5‐b][1,4]diazepines were obtained from the reaction of 4,5,6‐triaminopyrimidine 1a and 2,4,5,6‐tetraaminopyrimidine 1b with one equivalent of 3‐dimethylaminopropiophenones 2 in absolute ethanol. Structure analysis of 6‐amino‐ and 6,8‐diamino‐4‐aryl‐2,3‐dihydropyrimido[4,5‐b][1,4]diazepines 3a‐i , determined by detailed nmr measurements, reveals a high regioselectivity of this reaction.  相似文献

The crystal structure of the title compound [systematic name: 2‐(1,3‐dithiolo[4,5‐b][1,4]dithiin‐2‐ylidene)‐6,6‐bis(methoxyethoxymethoxymethyl)‐1,3‐dithiolo[4,5‐b][1,4]dithiepine], C21H30O6S8, a spiro‐substituted BEDT–TTF analogue [BEDT–TTF is bis(ethylenedithio)tetrathiafulvalene], has a strongly bent heterocyclic framework. The seven‐membered ring adopts a pseudo‐chair conformation with notably widened ring bond angles, especially at the methylene C atoms [119.49 (11) and 117.60 (11)°]. The axial side chain adopts an extended conformation, but the equatorial side chain curls back on itself and the O atom nearest the ring system is involved in three short contacts to H atoms (2.45–2.53 Å). The molecules pack in centrosymmetrically related pairs, which are isolated from each other by columns of the polyether side chains. This study emphasizes the ease of distortion of the neutral bis(propylenedithio)tetrathiafulvalene ring structure, and how the need to accommodate side chains can easily override the tendency of these donor systems to form stacks in the crystalline state.  相似文献

The title compounds, C20H17NO3S, (I), and C19H15NO2S, (II), were prepared by the reaction of benzo[b]thiophene‐2‐carbaldehyde with (3,4,5‐trimethoxyphenyl)acetonitrile and (3,4‐dimethoxyphenyl)acetonitrile, respectively, in the presence of methanolic potassium hydroxide. In (I), the C=C bond linking the benzo[b]thiophene and the 3,4,5‐trimethoxyphenyl units has E geometry, with dihedral angles between the plane of the bridging unit and the planes of the two adjacent ring systems of 5.2 (3) and 13.1 (2)°, respectively. However, in (II), the C=C bond has Z geometry, with dihedral angles between the plane of the bridging unit and the planes of the adjacent benzo[b]thiophene and 3,4‐dimethoxyphenyl units of 4.84 (17) and 76.09 (7)°, respectively. There are no significant intermolecular hydrogen‐bonding interactions in the packing of (I) and (II). The packing is essentially stabilized via van der Waals forces.  相似文献
