Let be the infinitesimal generator of an analytic semigroup on with suitable upper bounds on its heat kernels. Auscher, Duong, and McIntosh defined a Hardy space by means of an area integral function associated with the operator . By using a variant of the maximal function associated with the semigroup , a space of functions of BMO type was defined by Duong and Yan and it generalizes the classical BMO space. In this paper, we show that if has a bounded holomorphic functional calculus on , then the dual space of is where is the adjoint operator of . We then obtain a characterization of the space in terms of the Carleson measure. We also discuss the dimensions of the kernel spaces of BMO when is a second-order elliptic operator of divergence form and when is a Schrödinger operator, and study the inclusion between the classical BMO space and spaces associated with operators.

We present a (320, 88, 24)-difference set in , the existence of which was previously open. This new difference set improves a theorem of Davis-Jedwab with the removal of the exceptional case. It also enables us to state a theorem of Schmidt on Davis-Jedwab difference sets more neatly.  相似文献

On quadratic hypersurfaces in $\mathbb {H}^2$, we find the explicit forms of tangential Cauchy‐Fueter operators and associated tangential Laplacians □b. Then by using the Fourier transformation on the associated nilpotent Lie groups of step two, we construct the relative fundamental solutions to the tangential Laplacians and Szegö kernels on the nondegenerate quadratic hypersurfaces. It is different from the complex case that the quaternionic tangential structures on the nondegenerate quadratic hypersurfaces in $\mathbb {H}^2$ cannot be reduced to one standard model and the non‐homogeneous tangential Cauchy‐Fueter equations are solvable even in many convex cases.  相似文献

Let denote the Hardy space of real-valued functions on the unit circle with weak derivatives in the usual real Hardy space . It is shown that when the weak derivative of a locally Lipschitz continuous functionf has bounded variation on compact sets the Nemytskii operatorF, defined byF(u)=f·u, maps continuously into itself. In this paper, we continue our investigation on “Extremal problems under dimension constraints” introduced [1]. The general problem we deal with in this paper can be formulated as follows. Let be an affine plane of dimension k in . Given determine or estimate .Here we consider and solve the problem in the special case where is a hyperplane in and the “forbidden set” . The same problem is considered for the case, where is a hyperplane passing through the origin, which surprisingly turns out to be more difficult. In this paper we study the Cauchy–Riemann equation in complex projective spaces. Specifically, we use the modified weight function method to study the $\bar\partial$ -Neumann problem on pseudoconvex domains in these spaces. The solutions are used to study function theory on pseudoconvex domains via the $\bar\partial$ -Cauchy problem. We apply our results to prove nonexistence of Lipschitz Levi-flat hypersurfaces in complex projective spaces of dimension at least three, which removes the smoothness requirement used in an earlier paper of Siu.  相似文献

In this paper, via a new Cotlar type inequality linking commutators and corresponding maximal operators, a weighted Lp(X) estimate with general weights and a weak type endpoint estimate with A1(X) weights are established for maximal operators corresponding to commutators of BMO(X) functions and singular integral operators with non-smooth kernels.  相似文献

We study the interrelations between the statements $\mathsf {AC}^{\mathrm{fin}(X)},$ $\mathsf {AC}^{\mathrm{fin}([X]^{<\omega })},$ $\mathsf {AC}^{\mathrm{fin} (F_{n}(X,2))},$ $\mathsf {AC}^{\mathrm{fin}(\mathcal {\wp }(X))}$ and “$\mathcal {C}_\mathrm{R}\big (\mathbf {2}^{X}\big )\backslash \lbrace \varnothing \rbrace$has a choice set”. We show:
  • (i) $\mathsf {AC}^{\mathrm{fin}(X)}$ iff $\mathsf {AC}^{\mathrm{fin}([X]^{<\omega } )}$ iff $\mathcal {C}_\mathrm{R}\big (\mathbf {2}^{X}\big )\backslash \lbrace \varnothing \rbrace$ has a choice set iff $\mathsf {AC}^{\mathrm{fin}(F_{n}(X,2))}$.
  • (ii) $\mathsf {AC}_{\mathrm{fin}}$ ($\mathsf {AC}$ restricted to families of finite sets) iff for every set X, $\mathcal {C}_\mathrm{R}\big (\mathbf {2}^{X}\big )\backslash \lbrace \varnothing \rbrace$ has a choice set.
  • (iii) $\mathsf {AC}_{\mathrm{fin}}$ does not imply “$\mathcal {K}\big (\mathbf {2}^{X}\big )\backslash \lbrace \varnothing \rbrace$ has a choice set($\mathcal {K}(\mathbf {X})$ is the family of all closed subsets of the space $\mathbf {X}$)

We give an analog of D.O. Orlov’s theorem on semiorthogonal decompositions of the derived category of projective bundles for the case of equivariant derived categories. Under the condition that the action of a finite group on the projectivization X of a vector bundle E is compatible with the twisted action of the group on the bundle E, we construct a semiorthogonal decomposition of the derived category of equivariant coherent sheaves on X into subcategories equivalent to the derived categories of twisted sheaves on the base scheme.  相似文献

??This paper establishes limsup type law of the iterated logarithm of the occupation measure, using the asymptotic equivalence relation between the occupation measure and the number of excursion process of a symmetric Cauchy process. Let L be a one-to-one operator of type ω having a bounded H∞ functional calculus and satisfying the k-Davies-Gaffney estimates with k ∈ N. In this paper, the authors introduce the Hardy space HLp(Rn) with p ∈ (0, 1] associated with L in terms of square functions defined via {e-t2kL}t>0 and establish their molecular and generalized square function characterizations. Typical examples of such operators include the 2k-order divergence form homogeneous elliptic operator L1 with complex bounded measurable coefficients and the 2k-order Schrdinger type operator L2 := (-Δ)k + Vk, where Δ is the Laplacian and 0≤V∈Llock(Rn). Moreover, as an application, for i ∈ {1, 2}, the authors prove that the associated Riesz transform ▽k(Li-1/2) is bounded from HLip (Rn) to Hp(Rn) for p ∈ (n/(n + k), 1] and establish the Riesz transform characterizations of HL1p (Rn) for p ∈ (rn/(n + kr), 1] if {e-tL1 }t>0 satisfies the Lr-L2 k-off-diagonal estimates with r ∈ (1, 2].
