A selective novel reverse flow injection system with chemiluminescence detection (rFI-CL) for the determination of Cr(VI) in presence of Cr(III) with Dichlorotris (1,10-phenanthroline)ruthenium(II), (Ru(phen)3Cl2), is described in this work. This new method is based on the oxidation capacity of Cr(VI) in H2SO4 media. First, the Ruthenium(II) complex is oxidized to Ruthenium(III) complex by Cr(VI) and afterwards it is reduced to the excited state of the Ruthenium(II) complex by a sodium oxalate solution, emitting light inside the detector. The intensity of chemiluminescence (CL) is proportional to the concentration of Cr(VI) and, under optimum conditions, it can be determined over the range of 3-300 μg L−1 with a detection limit of 0.9 μg L−1. The RSD was 8.4% and 1.5% at 5 and 50 μg L−1, respectively. For the rFI-CL method various analytical parameters were optimized: flow rate (1 mL min−1), H2SO4 carrier concentration (20% w/V), Ru(phen)3Cl2 concentration (5 mM) and sodium oxalate concentration (0.1 M). The effect of Cr(III), Fe(III), Al(III), Cd(II), Zn(II), Hg(II), Pb(II), Ca(II) and Mg(II), was studied. The method is highly sensitive and selective, allowing a fast, on-line determination of Cr(VI) in the presence of Cr(III). Finally, the method was tested in four different water samples (tap, reservoir, well and mineral), with good recovery percentage.  相似文献

Summary Gel chromatographic behaviour of tris(1, 10-phenanthroline)iron(II), tris(2,2′-bipyridine)iron(II) and tris(glycinato)cobalt(III) on Sephadex G-10 or G-25 was investigated by TLC with 0.001–1.0M NaCl as the eluent. The zone shapes and RM values of tris(1,10-phenanthroline)iron(II) and tris(2,2′-bipyridine)iron(II) were appreciably dependent on the sample and eluent concentration, while the neutral complex, tris(glycinato) cobalt(III), exhibited the round zones with constant RM values. The order of RM values was found to be tris(glycinato)cobalt(III<tris(2,2∔pyridine)iron(II)<tris-(1,10-phenanthroline)iron(II) in all systems studied, although the reverse trend was expected when assuming the chromatographic behaviour of solute compounds to be controlled by the “sieving effect”. The comparison of the behaviour on Sephadex G gels with that on CM-cellulose revealed that the predominant mechanism involved is not the sieving effect, but ion-exchange and/or hydrophobic interaction.  相似文献

The effect of detection chip geometry on chemiluminescence (CL) signal intensity of tris(1,10-phenanthroline)-ruthenium(II) peroxydisulphate system for analysis of chlorpheniramine maleate (CPM) in pharmaceutical formulations was investigated. It was observed that the design of the detection chip is very crucial and can play an important role in enhancing the CL signal intensity in this system. The CL signal intensity was enhanced 250% when a teardrop micromixer chip was used, compared to the commonly used serpentine chip geometry. The study was conducted using a multi-chip device. In this device, chip 1 was used to prepare and pump the reagent mixture, whereas chip 3 was used for pumping the sample. The two chips were connected to the teardrop chip (2) via silica capillary where detection took place. Non-linear regression curve fitting of the calibration data revealed that the calibration curves are best described by third order polynomial equation with excellent correlation coefficients (R2 = 0.9998) for the concentration range 7.69 × 10−8 to 5.12 × 10−5 mol L−1. A linear response is also observed over the range 7.69 × 10−8 to 1.28 × 10−5 mol L−1 (R2 = 0.9996) and the detection limit was found to be 5.49 × 10−8 mol L−1. The device was successfully used for the analysis of CPM in tablets and a multi-component cough syrup. Results were reproducible with relative standard deviation (RSD) of 0.6-1.1%.  相似文献

A novel sequential injection (SI) method was developed for the determination of penicillamine (PA) and ephedrine (EP) based on the reaction of these drugs with tris(bipyridyl)ruthenium(II) (Ru(bpy)32+) and peroxydisulfate (S2O82−) in the presence of light. Derivatization of PA and EP with aldehydes has resulted in a significant enhancement of the chemiluminescence emission signal by at least 25 times for PA and 12 times for EP, leading to better sensitivities and lower detection limits for both drugs. The instrumental setup utilized a syringe pump and a multiposition valve to aspirate the reagents, (Ru(bpy)32+ and S2O82−), and a peristaltic pump to propel the sample. The experimental conditions affecting the derivatization reaction and the chemiluminescence reaction were systematically optimized using the univariate approach. Under the optimum conditions linear calibration curves between 0.2–24 μg mL−1 for PA and 0.2–20 μg mL−1 for EP were obtained. The detection limits were 0.1 μg mL−1 for PA and 0.03 μg mL−1 for EP. The procedure was applied to the analysis of PA and EP in pharmaceutical products and was found to be free from interferences from concomitants usually present in these preparations.  相似文献

A novel method for immobilization of tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)ruthenium(II) (Ru(bpy)3Cl2) on electrode surfaces based on the vapor-surface sol-gel deposition strategy is first demonstrated in this paper. Ru(bpy)3Cl2 immobilized sol-gel (Ru(bpy)3Cl2/sol-gel) films were characterized by UV-vis spectroscopy and field-emitted scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). These results showed that Ru(bpy)3Cl2 was successfully incorporated into the silica sol-gel film. It was found that many irregular Ru(bpy)3Cl2/sol-gel clusters were formed on surfaces through one deposition and thick sol-gel films were observed after further deposition. Electrochemical properties and electrochemiluminescence (ECL) behaviors of Ru(bpy)3Cl2/sol-gel films could be easily adjusted by deposition numbers and time. At last, the Ru(bpy)3Cl2/sol-gel film modified electrode was used for solid-state ECL detection of tripropylamine. The linear range was from 5.8 × 10−8 to 2.4 × 10−4 M with the detection limit of 5 nM, which was three orders of magnitude lower than that from pure Nafion-modified electrodes. The ECL sensor also exhibited high stability, and still remained 92% response after being stored in air for 35 days. This method for immobilization of Ru(bpy)3Cl2 is simple, convenient and low-cost relative to others, so it shows promising applications in solid-state ECL detection.  相似文献

本文合成了一种多联吡啶钌配合物(bpy)2Ru(phenCl4)(PF6)2,bpy为2,2′-联吡啶, phenCl4为3,4,7,8-四氯-1,10-邻菲罗啉,并用元素分析、红外光谱、核磁共振谱对其结构进行了表征。此化合物在紫外和可见光区都有吸收,在可见光区的最大吸收波长是440nm,这是典型的金属到配体(MLCT)的跃迁,其光致发光性能也显示出MLCT迁移特征,并且随溶剂不同,其最大发射波长从630nm变化到649nm。值得注意的是,此配合物的电致化学发光性能受pH影响不大,这与传统的随pH增大电致化学发光强度增大的联吡啶钌不同,尤其在强碱条件下,其背景电致化学发光很小。  相似文献

Vitamin C derivatives (VCDs) have been widely used as the alternative and stable sources of vitamin C, and accordingly exhibit many new applications, such as anti-tumor and central nervous system drug delivery. In this study, their Ru(bpy)32+ electrochemiluminescence (ECL) properties have been investigated for the first time using well-known ascorbyl phosphate and ascorbyl palmitate as representative VCDs. Ascorbyl phosphate and ascorbyl palmitate are VCDs with different substituted positions. Both of them increase Ru(bpy)32+ ECL, indicating that other VCDs may also enhance Ru(bpy)32+ ECL signal. The calibration plot for ascorbyl phosphate is linear from 3 × 10−6 to 1.0 × 10−3 M with a detection limit of 1.4 × 10−6 M at a signal-to-noise ratio of 3. The relative standard deviation is 3.6% for six replicate measurements of 0.01 mM ascorbyl 2-phosphate solution. The proposed method is about one order of magnitude more sensitive than electrochemical and UV–vis methods for the determination of ascorbyl phosphate, and is used successfully for the determination of ascorbyl phosphate in whitening and moisturising body wash.  相似文献

The cyclic voltammetry and electrogenerated chemiluminescent (ECL) reactions of a series of quinolone and fluoroquinolone antibiotics were investigated in a flow injection analysis (FIA) system. 7-Piperazinyl fluoroquinolone antibiotics were found to participate as a coreactant in an oxidative-reductive ECL mechanism with tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)ruthenium(II) (Ru(bpy)32+) as the luminescent reagent. The reaction mechanism was investigated in order to understand and optimize the processes leading to light emission. The optimal conditions included a solution pH ∼7 at a flow rate of 3.0 mL min−1 with no added organic modifier and application of 1.2 V vs. a Pt quasi-reference electrode (QRE). Fluoroquinolones containing a tertiary distal nitrogen on the piperazine ring, such as enrofloxacin and ofloxacin, reacted to produce more intense ECL than those with a secondary nitrogen, such as ciprofloxacin and norfloxacin. The method linear range, precision, detection limits, and sensitivity for the detection of enrofloxacin and ciprofloxacin were compared to that of tripropylamine. The method was applied to the determination of the ciprofloxacin content in a pharmaceutical preparation. The assay is discussed in terms of its analytical figures of merit, ease of use, speed, accuracy and application to pharmaceutical samples.  相似文献

The saccharinato complexes [Zn(phen)2(sac)(H2O)]sac (1) and [Zn(sac)(dmp)(H2O)](sac) (2), where phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, dmp = 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline, and sac =saccharinato ion/ligand, were synthesized by the reaction of [Zn(sac)2(H2O)4] · 2H2O with ligands and have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, and 1H NMR spectroscopies. Conductivity of complexes was measured in DMSO. Compound 1 is characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction and compared with some isomorphous zinc-saccharinate complexes reported previously. Complex 1 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P 1 , with Z = 2, and consists of alternating slightly distorted octahedral [Zn(phen)2(sac)(H2O)]+ and noncoordinated saccharinate. The zinc bound aqua is hydrogen bonded to an oxygen of carbonyl in the saccharinate ligand and the SO2 group in the saccharinate counter-ion from an adjacent molecule. Intermolecular and intramolecular hydrogen bonds and C–H ··· O and C–H ··· N short contacts lead to a 3-D network.  相似文献

A novel tris(2,2′-bipyridine)ruthenium(II) (Ru(bpy)32+) cathodic electrochemiluminescence (ECL) was generated at −0.78 V at the Pt electrode in acetonitrile (ACN), which suggested that the cathodic ECL differed from conventional cathodic ECL. It was found that tripropylamine (TPrA) could enhance this cathodic ECL and the linear range (log-log plot) was 0.2 μM-0.2 mM. In addition, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) could inhibit the cathodic ECL and was indirectly detected with the linear range of 27-540 μM. The RSD (n = 12) of the ECL intensity in the presence of 135 μM H2O2 was 0.87%. This method was also demonstrated for the fast determination of H2O2 in disinfectant sample and satisfactory results were obtained.  相似文献

Automated sequential injection (SIA) method for chemiluminescence (CL) determination of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug indomethacin (I) was devised. The CL radiation was emitted in the reaction of I (dissolved in aqueous 50% v/v ethanol) with intermediate reagent tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)ruthenium(III) (Ru(bipy)33+) in the presence of acetate. The Ru(bipy)33+ was generated on-line in the SIA system by the oxidation of 0.5 mM tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)ruthenium(II) (Ru(bipy)32+) with Ce(IV) ammonium sulphate in diluted sulphuric acid. The optimum sequence, concentrations, and aspirated volumes of reactant zones were: 15 mM Ce(IV) in 50 mM sulphuric acid 41 μL, 0.5 mM Ru(bipy)32+ 30 μL, 0.4 M Na acetate 16 μL and I sample 15 μL; the flow rates were 60 μL s−1 for the aspiration into the holding coil and 100 μL s−1 for detection. Calibration curve relating the intensity of CL (peak height of the transient CL signal) to concentration of I was curvilinear (second order polynomial) for 0.1–50 μM I (r = 0.9997; n = 9) with rectilinear section in the range 0.1–10 μM I (r = 0.9995; n = 5). The limit of detection (3σ) was 0.05 μM I. Repeatability of peak heights (R.S.D., n = 10) ranged between 2.4% (0.5 μM I) and 2.0% (7 μM I). Sample throughput was 180 h−1. The method was applied to determination of 1 to 5% of I in semisolid dosage forms (gels and ointments). The results compared well with those of UV spectrophotometric method.  相似文献

An investigation into the chemiluminescence of fourteen organic acids and tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)ruthenium(II) was undertaken. Particular emphasis was placed upon the method of production of the reagent, tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)ruthenium(III), with cerium(IV) sulfate, potassium permanganate, lead dioxide and electrochemical generation. Analytically useful chemiluminescence was observed when Ce(IV) or potassium permanganate were employed as oxidants. The kinetics of analyte oxidation was related to the intensity of the chemiluminescence emission, which increased by three orders of magnitude for tartaric acid after 40 h of oxidation.  相似文献

The Ru(bpy)_3~(2+) doped graphene oxide-silica composite film(Ru/GO-SiCF) was synthesized by one pot hydrolysis and condensation of tetraethylorthosilicate(TEOS) in the water-alcohol solution of graphene oxide and Ru(bpy)_3~(2+) at room temperature.The prepared Ru/GO-SiCF modified glassy carbon electrode(GCE) showed excellent electrochemiluminescence(ECL) behavior for the determination of tripropylamine(TPA) with high sensitivity and good stability.We expected this simple and novel material will find further application in construction of other targets sensors.  相似文献

Abstract

The emission produced by sulfite after oxidation by potassium permanganate in acidic solution in the presence of Ru(phen)3 2+ is used to determine 1.0 × 10?7 to 2.5 × 10?5 mol/L sulfite. The limit of detection is 4.5 × 10?9 mol/L and the relative standard deviation is 3.1% for a 1 × 10?5 mol/L sulfite solution (n=8). The method was also applied satisfactorily to the determination of sulfur dioxide in air by using triethanolamine (TEA) as absorbent material.  相似文献

The 2-alkoxyimidate-1,10-phenanthroline complexes of manganese, cobalt and nickel have been synthesized by the reaction of 2-cyano-1,10-phenanthroline with metal dichloride in the corresponding alcohol. The metal complexes bearing two 2-cyano-1,10-phenanthrolines were isolated in non-protonic solvent as the coordination around metal core with two ligands and two chlorides. The alkoxyimidation of nitrile linked on ligand was speeded in forming the 2-alkoxyimidate-1,10-phenanthrolinyl metal complexes. All the complexes have been characterized by FT-IR spectra and elemental analysis, and some of their structures have also been confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. All the metal complexes were evaluated in the catalytic oligomerization of ethylene with some alkylaluminums as co-catalyst; in which manganese complexes were less active, cobalt complexes showed low to moderate activities, and nickel complexes gave moderate to good activities.  相似文献

The synthesis and structural assignments of 9-chloro-1,1-phenanthroline-2(1H)-thione and 1,10-dihydro-1,10-phenanthroline-2,9-dithione have been accomplished. The sulfur-bridged bis-1,10-phenanthroline macrocycle was readily prepared by heating the thione or equimolar amounts of the dithione and 2,9-dichloro-1,10-phenanthroline in diphenyl ether. Displacements of 2-chloro- or 2,9-dichloro-1,10-phenanthroline with N,N-dimethylethylenediamine afforded the corresponding amine and diamino analogues. 在20mmol·L-1硫酸-1.2mmol.L-1十二烷基苯磺酸钠(SDBS)介质中,半胱氨酸可以增强三(1,10-菲咯啉)钌(Ⅱ)[Ru(phen)32+]-KMnO4化学发光体系的发光强度.基于此,建立了一种化学发光直接检测半胱氨酸的新方法.在优化的实验条件下,该方法的线性范围和检测限分别为2.5×10-2-2.0μg·mL-1和2.1×10-2μg·mL-1,对11份含半胱氨酸0.5μg·mL-1的溶液平行测定的相对标准偏差(R.S.D.)为5.3%.将其用于合成样品中半胱氨酸含量的测定,结果令人满意.并提出了可能的化学发光机理.  相似文献

1,10-Phenanthroline (Phen) as a new additive was added into the solutions of KH2PO4 (KDP) and NH4H2PO4 (ADP) in a small amount (∼2.5·10−3 M L−1). The crystals were grown from the aqueous solutions of pH ∼4.5 at constant temperature by solvent evaporation technique. It leads to an increase in metastable zone width and assists the bulk growth process. The growth rate of crystals in the presence of Phen decreases considerably with an increase in impurity concentration (∼2.5·10−2 M L−1). Not much variation is observed in FTIR and XRD of pure and doped ADP/KDP. It appears that the growth promoting effect (GPE) of Phen is caused by the adsorption of the organic additive on the prism faces of ADP/KDP crystals. Higher optical transmittance is observed in the presence of the dopant. Detailed microhardness studies of ADP crystals reveal the anisotropy in the hardness behaviour. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) photographs exhibit the effectiveness of the impurity in changing the surface morphology of ADP/KDP crystals. Contrary to expectations, Phen depresses the NLO efficiency of ADP/KDP, suggesting that the molecular alignments in the presence of Phen results in cancellation effects disturbing the non-linearity.  相似文献
