In this paper we study properties of a Bessel multiplier when the symbol involved belongs to lp. Furthermore, we introduce the concept of Bessel fusion multiplier which generalizes a Bessel multiplier for Bessel fusion sequences. We study the inverse braid monoid IBn introduced by Easdown and Lavers in 2004. We completely describe the factorizable structure of IBn and use this to give a new proof of the Easdown-Lavers presentation; we also derive several new presentations, each of which gives rise to a new presentation of the symmetric inverse monoid. We then define and study the pure inverse braid monoid IPn which is related to IBn in the same way that the pure braid group is related to the braid group.  相似文献

In this paper we study unitary operator-valued multiplier σ on a normal subsemigroup S of a group G with its extension to G. A dilation of a projective isometric σ-representations of S to a projective unitary Φ(σ)-representation of G is established for a suitable unitary operator-valued multiplier Φ(σ) associated with the multiplier σ which is explicitly constructed during the study.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the study of Lp Lyapunov-type inequalities (1?p?+∞) for linear partial differential equations. More precisely, we treat the case of Neumann boundary conditions on bounded and regular domains in RN. It is proved that the relation between the quantities p and N/2 plays a crucial role. This fact shows a deep difference with respect to the ordinary case. The linear study is combined with Schauder fixed point theorem to provide new conditions about the existence and uniqueness of solutions for resonant nonlinear problems.  相似文献

In the framework of algebras with infinitary operations, an equational base for the category of σ-complete MV-algebras is given. In this way, we study some particular objects as simple algebras, directly irreducible algebras, injectives, etc. A completeness theorem with respect to the standard MV-algebra, considered as σ-complete MV-algebra, is obtained. Finally, we apply this result to the study of σ-complete Boolean algebras and σ-complete product MV-algebras.  相似文献

The paper deals with two-dimensional slow-fast systems and more specifically with multi-layer canard cycles. These are canard cycles passing through n layers of fast orbits, with n?2. The canard cycles are subject to n generic breaking mechanisms and we study the limit cycles that can be perturbed from the generic canard cycles of codimension n. We prove that this study can be reduced to the investigation of the fixed points of iterated translated power functions.  相似文献

Methods from algebraic topology are often used to relate the algebraic properties of the Riemann curvature tensor to the geometry and topology of the underlying manifold. This paper provides a study of vector bundles over Grassmannians suitable for analyzing the spectral geometry of the Riemann tensor. Let G be the Galois group of a Galois point for a plane curve C. An element of G induces a birational transformation of C. We study if it can be extended to a projective or birational transformation of the plane. In the course of the study we give the defining equation of a rational curve with the Galois point. If X is a compact convex set in a real locally convex space, BX is said to be its boundary if every affine continuous function on X attains its maximum at some point of B. We study relations between fragmentability of B and the whole set X. As a byproduct we obtain a characterization of separable Asplund spaces. Nilpotence has been studied in stable homotopy theory and algebraic geometry. We study the corresponding notion in modular representation theory of finite groups, and apply the discussion to the study of ghosts, and generation of the stable module category. In particular, we show that for a finitely generated kG-module M, the tensor M-generation number and the tensor M-ghost number are both equal to the degree of tensor nilpotence of a certain map associated with M.  相似文献

We study non-abelian differentiable gerbes over stacks using the theory of Lie groupoids. More precisely, we develop the theory of connections on Lie groupoid G-extensions, which we call “connections on gerbes”, and study the induced connections on various associated bundles. We also prove analogues of the Bianchi identities. In particular, we develop a cohomology theory which measures the existence of connections and curvings for G-gerbes over stacks. We also introduce G-central extensions of groupoids, generalizing the standard groupoid S1-central extensions. As an example, we apply our theory to study the differential geometry of G-gerbes over a manifold.  相似文献

This article applies the golden section search method (GSSM), simplex search method (SSM) and differential evolution (DE) for predicting the unknown Fourier number (Fo), Vernotte number (Ve) and non-dimensional solar heat flux (S1) in a flat-plate solar collector when subjected to a given temperature requirement. The required temperature field is calculated using an analytical forward method by considering Fourier and non-Fourier heat conduction, and using this, the inverse problem is solved to predict the Fo, Ve and S1 which are assumed to be the unknown parameters. The study reveals that the temperature field is highly sensitive to the Fo, thus even a small error in the temperature measurement can result in an unrealistic estimation of heating time of the collector. The present study is proposed to be useful in determining the time, the time lag and solar heat flux for controlled heating of an absorber plate within a stipulated time, which will be required to attain a prescribed/desired temperature distribution. Additionally, the study also shows that subjected to different time levels, the same temperature distribution is possible through different absorber plate materials. It has been observed from the present study that apart from SSM and DE, GSSM fails to estimate the unknown parameters at large value of Ve and small value of Fo, due to the associated fluctuation in the measured temperature field. The present study further discusses the computational performance of direct search method (e.g. GSSM and SSM) with that of the evolutionary method (DE) in terms of the maximum number of iteration and CPU time required to achieve the desired objective.  相似文献

The main purpose of this paper is to study when a (T, I, D) construction ring is a C-ring in the sense of Echi (Port Math 50:277–295, 1993) where I is not necessarily a maximal ideal of T.
