Historic lime (Tilia cordata Mill.) wood samples, differing by their provenance, conservation status and period have been investigated by solid-state carbon-13 cross polarization magic angle sample spinning nuclear magnetic resonance (13C CPMAS NMR) spectroscopy. Structural and chemical modifications were assessed by comparing the historic samples with a reference wood sample. The conventional NMR measurements followed by the 13C resonance integral intensities of the wood samples have been carried out in order to acquire information of the chemical changes due to the natural ageing process taking place over the years. The main results concern the decrease of the carbohydrates moiety, especially the decrease of the hemicelluloses and amorphous cellulose signals, while the signals for aliphatic and methoxyl carbons from lignin present and increase of the intensity up to 120 years then start to decrease. At the same time a slight widening of the amorphous carbohydrate signals was observed, which may evidence the occurring of some chemical rearrangements, with the formation of new chemical species. These lead in the 13C NMR spectra to the line broadening of the signals induced by their chemical shifts dispersion.  相似文献

Quantitative analysis of specifically deuterated compounds can be achieved by a number of conventional methods, such as mass spectroscopy, or by quantifying the residual 1H NMR signals compared to signals from internal standards. However, site specific quantification using these methods becomes challenging when dealing with non-specifically or randomly deuterated compounds that are produced by metal catalyzed hydrothermal reactions in D2O, one of the most convenient deuteration methods. In this study, deuterium-induced NMR isotope shifts of quaternary 13C resonances neighboring deuterated sites have been utilized to quantify the degree of isotope labeling of molecular sites in non-specifically deuterated molecules. By probing 13C NMR signals while decoupling both proton and deuterium nuclei, it is possible to resolve 13C resonances of the different isotopologues based on the isotopic shifts and the degree of deuteration of the carbon atoms. We demonstrate that in different isotopologues, the same quaternary carbon, neighboring partially deuterated carbon atoms, are affected to an equal extent by relaxation. Decoupling both nuclei (1H, 2H) resolves closely separated quaternary 13C signals of the different isotopologues, and allows their accurate integration and quantification under short relaxation delays (D1 = 1 s) and hence fast accumulative spectral acquisition. We have performed a number of approaches to quantify the deuterium content at different specific sites to demonstrate a convenient and generic analysis method for use in randomly deuterated molecules, or in cases of specifically deuterated molecules where back-exchange processes may take place during work up.  相似文献

The degraded Eucalyptus pellita kraft lignin from the black liquor of KP-AQ pulping was precipitated directly at pH ∼2.0 without further purifying, since the lignin obtained is more representative with a whole distribution of molecular weight. The precipitated lignin was fractionated into six fractions by successive extraction with organic solvents. A comparison study of the lignin heterogeneity between the fractions was made in terms of fractional yield, content of associated polysaccharides, alkaline nitrobenzene oxidation, molecular weight distribution, 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectroscopy and thermal stability. It was found that the lignin fractions contained higher associated hemicelluloses and ratios of non-condensed syringyl/guaiacyl units which were extracted by organic solvents with higher Hildebrand solubility parameters. The results from GPC and TGA showed that the polydispersity and the thermal stability of the lignin fractions increased with increasing molecular weight. In the low molecular weight fraction, small amounts of β-aryl ether bond (β-O-4) surviving the KP-AQ pulping were detected by both 1H and 13C NMR spectra.  相似文献

A group of para-substituted bis(acetoxy)iodoarenes has been studied by 17O and 13C NMR. Only one signal for all the oxygens of the acetoxy groups has been observed. Both 17O and 13C chemical shifts of this group show a strong invariance with para substitution. The absence of covalent I-O bonds and an ion pair structure is proposed for the title compounds.  相似文献

19F and 13C NMR spectra of perfluorinated compounds (i.e., tetrafluorophthalic anhydride, its hydroxyl- and amino-derivatives, N-pentafluorophenyltetrafluorophthalimide, and hexafluoroindan-1,3-dione) were analysed. Different signals in NMR spectra were assigned based on the analysis of spin-spin coupling constants. All assignments made were further confirmed by density functional theory (DFT) calculations of 13C chemical shifts and JC,F coupling constants.  相似文献

Chemical analysis of the Indonesian soft coral Sinularia sp. (order Alcyonacea, family Alcyoniidae) afforded two known and three new C-4 norcembranoids, named chloroscabrolides A (3) and B (4) and prescabrolide (5). Chloroscabrolide A is a pentacyclic norcembranoid including an unprecedented THF-type ring to connect C-13 and C-15; furthermore, it is only the second chlorinated cembranoid derivative to be reported in the literature. The relative configuration of chloroscabrolide A has been established on the basis of a comparison between experimental 13C NMR data and DFT-calculated 13C NMR chemical shifts. All the isolated norcembranoids have been evaluated for iNOS protein inhibition.  相似文献

The syn and anti isomers of cis,cis-tricyclo[5.3.0.02,6]dec-3-ene derivatives have been synthesized and their 1H and 13C NMR spectra unequivocally analyzed. Both their structures and their 1H and 13C NMR chemical shifts were calculated by DFT, the latter two calculations employing the GIAO perturbation method. Additionally, calculated NMR shielding values were partitioned into Lewis and non-Lewis contributions from the bonds and lone pairs involved in the molecules by accompanying NBO and NCS analyses. The differences between the syn and anti isomers were evaluated with respect to steric and spatial hyperconjugation interactions.  相似文献

Simulation of 2D 1H homo- and 1H-13C heteronuclear NMR spectra of organic molecules are here suggested as a tool in the structure elucidation of organic compounds. DFT calculations of 1H and 13C chemical shifts are performed on a sample compound, the ethyl ester of the exo-2-norbornanecarbamic acid, with the mPW1PW91 method using the 6-31G(d) basis set, following a full optimization of the geometry. Homo and heteronuclear spin-spin coupling constants are also calculated, providing full prediction of the common 2D 1H-1H COSY, 2D 1H-13C HSQC, and 2D 1H-13C HMBC.  相似文献

Data on the NMR spectroscopy of C, N, O, Si, P, and Sn donor atoms of platinum metal complexes in solutions are surveyed. The chemical shift of a donor atom mainly depends on the ligand in the trans-position (due to the trans-effect). The chemical shift of a donor atom on a particular coordinate of the complex (coordinate shift, CSh) is an attribute of this coordinate and can be used to identify such a coordinate in platinum metal complexes and to determine the structures of complexes. Based on the known data, CSh diagrams were composed for 1H, 13C, 14N, 17O, 19F, 31P, and 119Sn. Examples of using the CShs for determining the structures of platinum metal complexes in solutions are presented.  相似文献

Two separate samples of Na3C60 were prepared by direct reaction of C60 with sodium metal vapor, and subjected to different annealing times of 10 days and 16 days. Solid-state 13C and 23Na NMR, along with elemental analysis, powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman spectroscopy, were used to characterize both samples. The Raman spectra of both materials have a single peak at 1447 cm−1 which correspond to the Ag peak of C603−, consistent with the stoichiometry of NaxC60 with x=3. The powder XRD patterns are also virtually identical for both samples. However, solid-state 23Na and 13C NMR spectra of the two samples are significantly different, suggesting a relationship between annealing times and the final structure of the alkali fulleride. Variable-temperature 23Na magic-angle spinning (MAS) NMR experiments reveal the existence of two or three distinct sodium species and reversible temperature-dependent diffusion of sodium ions between octahedral and tetrahedral interstitial sites. 13C MAS NMR experiments are used to identify resonances corresponding to free C60 and fulleride species, implying that the samples are segregated-phase materials composed of C60 and non-stoichiometric Na3C60. Variable-temperature 13C MAS NMR experiments reveal temperature-dependent motion of the fullerides.  相似文献

3-Methylfurazans with nitrogen-containing substituents at position 4 were studied by 1H, 13C, and 14N NMR spectroscopy. A correlation between the chemical shifts in 13C NMR spectra of these furazans and monosubstituted benzenes with the same substituents was found. The increments for a number of furazan-containing substituents were determined for the first time.  相似文献

Magnesium porphyrazinate substituted with eight 3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl groups on the peripheral positions has been synthesized by the cyclotetramerization of 3,4-[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]pyrroline-2,5-diimine in the presence of magnesium butanolate. Acid-mediated demetallation of the magnesium porphyrazine resulted in peripheral oxidation of one pyrrole ring to reveal the seco-porphyrazine, octakis[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-2-seco-porphyrazine-2,3-dione. Further reaction of this product with copper (II) acetate, zinc (II) acetate and cobalt (II) acetate has led to the metallo-derivatives, {octakis[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-2-seco-2,3-dioxoporphyrazinato} M(II) [M = Cu(II), Zn(II), Co(II)]. These new soluble complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, together with FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 19F NMR, UV-Vis and mass spectral data.  相似文献

A novel strategy for NMR analysis of mixtures of oleanolic and ursolic acids that occur in natural products is described. These important phytochemicals have similar structure and their discrimination and quantification is rather difficult. We report herein the combined use of proton-carbon heteronuclear single-quantum coherence (1H-13C HSQC) and proton-carbon heteronuclear multiple-bond correlation (1H-13C HMBC) NMR spectroscopy, in the identification and quantitation of oleanolic acid (OA) and ursolic acid (UA)in plant extracts of the Lamiaceae and Oleaceae family. The combination of 1H-13C HSQC and 1H-13C HMBC techniques allows the connection of the proton and carbon-13 spins across the molecular backbone resulting in the identification and, thus, discrimination of oleanolic and ursolic acid without resorting to physicochemical separation of the components. The quantitative results provided by 2D 1H-13C HSQC NMR data were obtained within a short period of time (∼14 min) and are in excellent agreement with those obtained by HPLC, which support the efficiency of the suggested methodology.  相似文献

13C nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) was applied to determine the different components of apolar and polar fractions which were isolated by column chromatography from the crude chloroform-soluble waxes of olive fruits (Olea europaea) Dritta cultivar.13C NMR enabled the determination in the wax apolar fraction, of aliphatic aldehydes, and of benzyl, alkyl and glyceryl esters. In particular, the fatty acid composition of alkyl esters, comprising saturated and unsaturated oleic and linoleic acids, was determined. Acyl chain composition and the chain composition of 1,3- and 2-glycerol positions were also determined for triacylglycerols of olive fruit waxes.Oleanolic and maslinic acids were confirmed to be the major components of wax polar fraction. Complete assignments of 13C NMR chemical shifts of oleanolic and maslinic acids as a mixture were achieved by using homonuclear correlation spectroscopy with gradient (g-COSY), attached proton test (APT), inverse-detected heteronuclear single-quantum coherence with gradient (g-HSQC), high-resolution heteronuclear correlation spectroscopy (HETCOR) for C-H directly attached pairs and C-H long-range-coupled experiments.  相似文献

Ethanol organosolv lignin extracted from Miscanthus × giganteus (using the following conditions: T = 190 °C, t = 60 min, sulfuric acid = 1.2% w/w, EtOH/H2O = 0.65) and milled wood lignin from Miscanthus × giganteus were subjected to a comprehensive structural characterization by 13C, 31P NMR, FTIR, UV spectroscopies and size exclusion chromatography. The results showed that Miscanthus lignin is an H/G/S type (4%, 52%, 44% respectively) with ∼0.41 β-O-4 linkage per aromatic ring and contains coumarylate linkages (0.1/Ar). It was shown that during organosolv treatment, cleavage of β-O-4 linkages and of ester bond (acetyl and coumaryl residues) was the major mechanisms of lignin breakdown but the process did not significantly change the core of the lignin structure.  相似文献

Aspergiolide A, a novel antitumor compound, was produced by a marine-derived filamentous fungus Aspergillus glaucus. The biosynthesis of it was unambiguously determined by feeding experiments using [l-13C]sodium acetate, [2-13C]sodium acetate, and [1,2-13C2]sodium acetate precursors followed by 13C NMR spectroscopic investigation of the isolated products. Analysis of the patterns of 13C-enrichment revealed that all 25 carbon atoms in skeleton of aspergiolide A were derived from labeled acetate. And among them, 12 carbon atoms were labeled from the carboxylic group of acetate, while the other 13 carbon atoms were labeled from the methylic group of acetate. Besides, the labeling pattern of [1,2-13C2]sodium acetate feeding experiment demonstrated that 12 intact acetate units were incorporated in aspergiolide A by polyketide pathway.  相似文献

4-13C-isoprene was prepared by the Wittig reaction. All reaction steps were optimised using unlabelled compounds. By reaction with triphenyl phosphine, 13C labelled methyl iodide afforded labelled methyl-triphenyl phosphine iodide in 84% yield. This reacted with meth acrolein with production of 4-13C-isoprene in 64% yield. Labelled polyisoprene was prepared by anionic polymerisation initiated by t-butyl lithium. Based on 13CH3I the overall yield is ca 30%. The polymer was characterized by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. The contribution of each microstructure was [cis 1-4, 72%]; [trans 1-4, 10%]; [3-4, 18%].  相似文献
